The food we tried was excellent. My son and I both got sandwiches. Mine the Malibu chicken and his the pulled pork sandwich. Both were very flavorful and both messy as hell. They have paper towels at the table but this fair really needs wet wipes in a big way which they don't have. They have a special chipotle fry sauce too which is fire. I recommend it all. The place is clean and bright inside. The prices reasonable for what you get as well. $11-$17 ish per sandwich/burger. Today's experience was awful. Started out with very slow service at the register. Took over 15 mins to get to us. There wasn't a long line either. After ordering it took them over 20 minutes to get the meals out then another 15 mins on top of that to get the salads out. They also sat out because when they got to us some of the food was not hot. They are definitely understaffed so I feel bad because you can tell they are definitely stressed. The bathroom was gross and smelt absolutely disgusting. I hope the workers are getting paid extra because they do not have enough staff today. That being said I will give this place another shot to see if it was just an issue due to call outs. read more

Not sure why the cover photo has a seafood boil This local burger joint is really close to our house and wanted to give it a try. First time burgers were sopping wet and were hard to handle and eat. Second time, burgers weren't quite as saucy! The Chubby's sauce is good! The gf buns do have sesame and poppy seeds so just a heads up for those with dietary restrictions. The gf bun was pretty good, kind of soft and spongy - better than some of the cardboard stuff I've tried got a salad as my gf side - was pretty basic. Both times we've gone there we didn't have a wait to order or have issue finding a table. Staff were friendly and seemed attentive to my gf needs, which was nice! Somehow, I made it into my late 30s without trying Chubby's. I think it opened in Utah county right after I had moved, and I just never even heard about it until recently. But thankfully my coworkers had been, so we went for lunch. It was awesome. I loved the diversity of the menu--especially the dessert options. I was so dang full from my dinner I didn't do dessert. The next time I go, I hope to split a meal so I can have room for dessert. I loved the natural fries, and love that you have a choice of a side (like if you want to do dessert instead of fries, for instance). Just updating my review so we know how to order now that my kids are older. My 13 year old can now easily finish a burger and fries. My 9 year old can finish an adult sized burger just barely. The fries orders are huge so they'll be splitting the beer battered fries that they love and I just won't get fries because the plain fries are not good. Not worth paying for; not worth the calories. I got the gluten free mushroom Swiss bacon burger and omg it was glorious. If you are sensitive to gluten I'd ask about what is in the mushroom sauce just to be safe but I was told the burger was gluten free and I really loved the textures and flavors. Walked in around 3 was not busy at all. 3 of us, Guy taking orders gave us few options that were popular. I went with the chicken bacon sandwich. No side We got our food and my mil had fries and they tasted stale /cold. Old fries maybe from earlier in the day. We were going to ask to remake them but my MIL felt bad for some reason. My chicken sandwich was ok. I rather go to super chicks their chicken sandwich is way better. The bun was soaked and soft and just fell apart while eating. The chicken was tough. It wasn't dry but weirdly tough. My FIL got halibut and it was tiny little things. Like fish sticks. Nope Only reason two stars was my mil said the burger was good and the place was clean. This place was so cute and tucked away on a very queer friendly part of the street in a retroish area of Utah. The inside was so pink and very cutesy looking // decorated for Halloween. They had a variety of donuts to choose from. I got a red velvet donut for myself, my mom got a strawberry shortcake donut, and we got a freebie KitKat donut for posting them on social media! I ordered the BBQ Burger with fries and a regular size Banana Cream Pie shake: Burger: The best part of the meal, although it wasn't an amazing burger. A little messy and the bottom bun was a bit soggy. Fries: A generous amount of fries was given. The flavor was off though, like it was fried in too much oil or something. Left a weird aftertaste. We ordered the (3) Texas Bacon Cheeseburgers, (1) Beer Battered Fries, (2) Peach Cobblers, (1) Baked Beans, and two drinks = $57.86 w/ tip. Sorry to say, I didn't have time to snap pics as we were all hungry, however I can tell you that the presentation and service of all that we ordered were spot on. The burgers were nice a big, but to me, not flavorful in the meat itself. The burger did have flavor, but only from what was on it. And don't get me wrong, it was good, just not what I expected. The fries came in a huge mound, and was a very generous portion, also not expected. Fries were crispy and good. The cobbler ala modes were good, but a bit like a cookie more than a cobbler. The drink station had many choices, all of which I like, so it was hard to choose. The ice was the best for me...the half crushed type. This was my first time to Chubby's. I drive by it almost daily and finally decided to give it a try. It was moderately busy, and we waited in line a few minutes to place our orders for a party of 4. The first 3 sandwiches were ready within a few minutes of sitting down. The last one in the order took much longer. An apology was made for the delay, but that doesn't make up for the fact that most everyone at the table was finished when my sandwich arrived. I ordered a guacamole burger and it was a good. A little dry but not eating sand or anything like that. Guacamole was cool, not the highlight I was looking for since it's a guacamole burger. The potato bun (guessing it's a potato bun) is an amazing choice for a burger - light and let's the stuff inside do it's thing. I opted for mac and cheese for my side and that was the wrong choice. Not terrible by any means, but since I know what their fries taste like, I wanted to try something else. Probably a step above boxed mac and cheese IMO (I like boxed but literally only at home when it's a random craving) and I will most likely not order it again. My brother enjoyed his choice of burger and fries - chubby American burger. His burger looked dry but he said it didn't taste like it was to him so he was happy with his choice. Soda fountain has both soda and non-soda options and carries Pepsi products. Meal total was just under $16 which I think if everything was made perfectly, it would be more than fair. I had previously visited the Chubby's location in Saratoga Springs, so when they opened another location closer to home, I was eager to check it out. As I do when a new restaurant opens, however, I gave it a few weeks to settle in and get past the crowds before I made my way over. My visit happened late on Friday night-about two hours before closing time. My wife and I along with her parents, stopped in for dinner after driving through the Christmas light show nearby. There were not a lot of other people in the place-it was the prime time to visit. The dining area was clean, although the placement of the garbage cans was odd-not near the door where most other places have them. At first, we left our food on the table, but noticed someone else throwing away their trash across the room, so we went back and cleared our table. The layout might need a little revamping. Entrance... facility is clean with tables that can fit a group of 10. The staff is very nice with quick smiles and service. I ordered the halibut but they were out and they replaced it with Rock Cod. Note they offer a variety of sides so don't assume fish and chips. There is Mac and cheese, fries, battered fries, cole slaw etc... I also ordered peach cobbler a la mode! They have fountain soda for drinks... including ginger ale. First bite! HOT! Steamy and delicious. Lil dip in the tarter sauce.there is Chubby's hot sauce too. Jalapeño and Habanero The coleslaw was cold, crisp and creamy. Very fresh. Don't judge but I ordered the hot wings and fries. A ton of food that I will be reheating for dinner. The fries are hot and fresh. The wings are perfection; very fresh, crispy and spicy, just the way I like them. The fountain soda was effervescent and refreshing. Dessert was good. As I already said, it's as if you walked into a cafe of the backwoods to nowhere. This place has not only the vibe going for it but the food and people are downright down to earth good. It may be over yonder for this northern valley boy but it brought satisfaction to my burger hankerin self. The hush puppies were delightful, beer battered fries were fabulously tasty. I really hate to do this to one of my favorite places. We have now tried 5 of the 7 Chubby's Cafe locations, and the Riverton location takes 4th place out of those for now. The location is nice with lots of room. Staff is the same friendly faces you get at most Chubby's, bit the food just wasn't as good as it is at other locations. I got the same buffalo chicken salad and I thought it was weird most of the chicken didn't have any sauce until I got near the bottom and found the rest of the Buffalo sauce drenching the lettuce. My wife got the Buffalo chicken tenders, and they were a little dry and overcooked breading on some of the smaller pieces vs the nice moist, well breaded ones we have gotten. Hopefully, we can try them again, and everything is up to par, but for now, it will sit at 4th out of 5 places. Also random thought, the bathroom faucet will shoot over the sink if not careful. read more

It has lettuce, tomato & pickle ,mustard & ketchup I was very impressed with the quality & taste of the meat . It was really good. The buns are an egg type bun very soft & good. I got the beer battered fries with fry sauce . These fries are amazing ! The best I have ever had. My husband got the Carolina pulled pork sandwich this had BBQ sauce, coleslaw & pickle . This was very good ! It had a ton of meat on it . The pork was tender. We went back here another day & got the Fish basket The fish was very flakey & good. The batter is light & crispy .
