The house cut fries were soggy and unsalted. The cheesesteak is a whole lot of unseasoned chipped beef and very little cheese. My kids liked the Mac and cheese bites, and the bread was decent. The employees were very kind and friendly. I have driven by this place dozens of times and have wanted to give it a shot. Unfortunately I don't think we'll be back.

8" Philadelphian and half order French fries

I was in Sandy and craving cheesecake so I decided to go try this place and was not disappointed! I should've ordered the 4", I ordered the 6" but they gave me the 8" which is pictured below, with the half order of fries, which was huge, I couldn't eat it all! Was so much food! Delicious but so filling! Service was great, but A/C is lacking so don't go in and eat on a hot day if you need it to be cool. Price is comparable to other steak sandwiches of same quality, but these guys don't cheat you on quantity of meat that's for sure! Go check em out.

The cheese steak was very good. However if you love Onion Rings don't buy theirs. Mine were greasy, burnt and non etiable. Lynn

The service was decent, the place was busy, but there was plenty of space to grab a table and eat. There was a tv in there with a movie on, some Utah magazines to look at and a soda fountain. The establishment appeared to be clean. The Philly sandwich was huge! It was stuffed full of steak and toppings. It had all the good stuff I like on a philly; steak, cheese, sautéed mushrooms, and onions, and topped with hot peppers, pickles, lettuce, tomatoes and mayo. But it needed a bit more mayo and it could have used a bit more flavor in the steak. Salt, pepper, garlic? I don't know, but something. But I did enjoy nonetheless, i would cone back, I'm curious to try other sandwiches and their unique onion rings!!

This is a hole in the wall spot in Sandy. Old and worn out, nothing fancy, you can see them prep and cook right behind the cashier. Unfortunately their Philly cheesesteak wasn't the best I've had in salt lake. Their other sandwiches are good though. English chips are awesome. Huge portions. Congrats if you finish any 12 inch sandwich in one sitting. They're generous with their proteins. The bread they use is super soft, but not the best for a cheesesteak. This place will hit the spot if you need a big sandwich or fried food

A true Hole in the Wall kind of restaurant- it was a very busy Saturday night when we came for our 1st visit! People here are supper nice and we decided ahead of time to order a 8 inch Philly and we weren't disappointed! Our Philly was full of meat and spicy pepper just as we ordered- it was so yummy and we will be back to try their home made onion rings and English chips (. They were out of English chips and awaiting a delivery). They were crazy busy but the staff was making a huge effort getting orders out ! Can't wait to try some of their other menu choices so we'll be back soon. Glad we gave them a try

Never been before but was in the area on my way to a job interview in Draper. Got a cheesesteak with everything, and a side of onion rings. My food came out quickly, and tasted delicious. Service was friendly and respectful. Perfect, no frills kind of place for lunch. I definitely recommend.

Man, I wish I could give The Philadelphian a favorable score, but it just didn't hold up. The sandwich toppings were good. Unfortunately, that's it. The bread was tough, generic, slightly-sweet hoagie bread. Bread means a lot on a Philly, and they went with the lowest quality bread available. The store itself is also greasy and dark, feeling unclean and unkept all around. Some would argue that's exactly how a Philly shop should be, but it's certainly not for me.

I thought that they would have jacked up the prices, particularly on the international items, but everything is priced reasonably. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. My family stayed down the street at the HGI in Sandy for 5 nights for my son's soccer tournament and we visited Slackwater 3 times. Pro tip: join the waitlist on Yelp! Even during the week, the wait was 30+ mins each time. Food was great. We tried a lot of different pizzas - we got the Chicken Bro-Do, Hot Honey DP, Tikka Masala, Taco Camarones and Margherita. The airy artisan crust is the same on all pizzas and is delicious. I would recommend them all outside of the Camarones which felt a bit underwhelming as there was very little shrimp and flavor was flat. The Citrus Morita dry rub wings are incredible. We ordered these every night. The Morita chile sauce I would throw on everything. Super fresh and flavorful. It had the right amount of heat . The breadsticks are really good. Same bread that they use for the pizza and stuffed with a ton of cheese. Marinara sauce that comes with it is top notch. The Diablo sticks are spicy just to be spicy. The sauce isn't good. We switched to regular marinara. Would recommend staying away from these. Service is great. Everyone is very attentive. The staff definitely give off a chill energy but are focused, alert and friendly. This place is a must if you're in the area. Hope we can make it back someday.

They keep things moving smoothly yet never make you feel rushed. This location is a bit calmer and more relaxed than their downtown SLC location. We all know Holladay is...affluent, and their village is such a cute area that invites you to slow down and enjoy your meal. And, of course, the market is half the fun. Finding the place was the hardest part as we drove around the building nearly twice before we realized the deli must be accessed from inside. We took a few minutes to go through the menu as they have a lot to offer- many standard and specialty sandwiches, soups, salads, burgers and more. The lady helping us at the counter was patient and amazing, helping us to customize our order with a smile the entire time.
