Came for breakfast around 11. Walked in and few waiting the counter was open and we like sitting at the counter to see all the kitchen commotion. Ordered coffee and all American breakfast with pancakes Coffee was good. Not watered down at all but also good strong Got my plate and I assumed I'd get one pancake since you are subbing for toast! It was two huge pancakes. The pancakes are delicious. Ricotta pancakes. 100 percent try them. The other stuff was pretty basic but solid. I think only complaint or I thought to myself umm not sure if I like this. Is garlic salt in potato's or maybe they put too much on mine. But they were still good. Staff was friendly. Older gentleman working behind counter seemed like owner was also friendly and attentive to us. The place is clean since it just opened up. We would definitely come back since it's close to where we live and the food was good.

This is a solid breakfast spot in the south end of the SL Valley. Glad we're getting some good eateries down here. It was pretty busy on a Sunday mid morning, but we love sitting at the bar area and were seated right away. We got front row to the kitchen action! The staff does pretty well with keeping up, although busy. I can see how stressful the kitchen life is and definitely builds my appreciation for the work they do. The staff were all very friendly and our waitress, Cierra was attentive. Thank you! I love cleanliness in restaurants and appreciated how they had an open employee hand washing station right at the bar area. It helps encourage good hygiene and several times I saw employees washing hands. I decided to go all out this time and try the regular French toast and added two scrambled eggs. The French toast was nice n thick, although a tad dry. The eggs were just that, scrambled eggs! The coffee was good too. Thanks Mils Cafe! We'll be back.

Awesome. Great service. Great ambiance. The burger was cooled perfectly and great flavor. Real good side salad.

The food was excellent, with generous portions throughout. The Nutella French toast was properly stuffed and indulgent. Loved the Irish Benedict! Service was friendly and efficient, and the space was clean with plenty of natural light, creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Good little hidden brunch spot that just opened. I agree with the one star review about the seating wait, however I think that person had a bad experience because there are not enough servers for all of the tables even though there were empty tables throughout the restaurant & that's why there's a wait. We decided to eat at the counter where we got to see the hustle of the kitchen staff. They put in a lot of extra work to make sure the dishes are correct and presentable. We had a build your own skillet with big chunks of corned beef, eggs, spinach, mushrooms, onions, & cheddar. You can build your own skillet or omelette but with the skillet you get to choose 3 veggie toppings whereas the omelette you're being charged per topping & meat. Wish the potatoes were more grilled , it tasted like par boiled. Coffee was excellent, rich and flavorful. Portions are big enough to share. They have gluten free bread and pancakes. I chose the pancakes and I couldn't tell the difference of it had gluten or not. They were very tasty. Try their fresh made raspberry jam. I'll come here again to try more of their lunch items.

All food items were super yummy & affordable ! Staff were nice and attentive. Perfect for friends or family brunch.

They all were so good that we couldn't agree on a favorite. Breakfast burrito and ube pancakes for mains. The burrito was STUFFED with delicious chorizo, cheese, egg, and veggies. Wrapped in a super large tortilla then grilled for crispy exterior. Served with a fantastic salsa with hints chipotle heat. Great flavor but not so much that it buries the flavor. The ube pancakes were also incredible. Four large, lightly crisped cakes topped with ube whipped cream, blueberries, blueberry syrup drizzle, and a mint sprig. First bite was so good that I didn't talk for at least five minutes, so I could shovel in more and more. They came with a side of syrup, but it was definitely not needed. I'll certainly be back to try more menu items, but it'll be hard to resist temptation of the burrito. If you've eaten here before, it's probably time to go back - if you've never been here, it's time to go... now!

The biscuits also came with a cinnamon butter and blueberry butter, but the caramel was my favorite (this shocked me!) For the main entrees, my party ordered the basic AF, Carnitas Hash, Birria Hash, McDrizle, and half order avocado toast. Everything as delicious and easy person enjoyed what they ordered. I tried the meat on both the birria hash and carnitas hash and I'd have to say I prefer the carnitas over the birria! Because it was Father's Day they also sent the dads away with a bottle of root beer, which I thought was fun. I would definitely recommend and will also go again and try something new. We did end up getting there around 9:30, which was great timing. When we were leaving there were a lot of people waiting around for their table.

While there were some things we enjoyed, the overall experience didn't quite justify the price. First, the restaurant is beautiful. The décor is modern, stylish, and very Instagram-worthy. It's easily one of the nicest-looking brunch spots I've visited in Utah. Unfortunately, the dining room feels overcrowded. The tables are placed extremely close together, making it difficult to have a private conversation. We often had to raise our voices just to hear each other, and even the servers seemed to struggle moving between tables. The atmosphere looked great, but it didn't feel very comfortable. The service was polite and friendly, but one thing bothered me. Shortly after we finished our main dishes, the check was brought to the table. We hadn't asked for it, and it made us feel a bit rushed, as if it was time to leave even though we were still talking with our friends. It's a small detail, but it affects the overall dining experience. For drinks, I ordered a piña colada, and unfortunately it was disappointing. It tasted overly diluted, with very little pineapple flavor, while the rum stood out much more than it should have. I also ordered the Vital Boost juice. The flavor was actually good, but it was served at room temperature, which wasn't what I expected from a fresh juice. For my meal, I ordered the breakfast burrito. It tasted good, but I couldn't justify the $20 price tag. It consisted of a thin tortilla filled with eggs, bacon, cheese, and potatoes, served with shredded potatoes and a small side salad. While everything was cooked properly, the ingredients felt simple, and the portion didn't match the price. I've had larger and more satisfying meals elsewhere for the same cost. My girlfriend ordered the birria tacos. They were decent but nothing memorable. We've had better birria at other restaurants. The consommé was much spicier than expected, and while some people may enjoy that, it wasn't our preference. The tortillas were also average. On the positive side, the lemonade was refreshing. I should also mention that Mexican food isn't usually my favorite cuisine, so I know my preferences may differ from those of other diners. Still, I always evaluate a restaurant based on the balance between quality, value, flavor, and the overall experience. In this case, I felt the food was good but not exceptional enough to justify the prices. La Condesa is definitely worth visiting if you're looking for a beautiful brunch spot with a trendy atmosphere. However, between the cramped seating, the value for the money, a few disappointing dishes, and feeling rushed at the end of the meal, the overall experience fell short of my expectations. I don't regret trying it, but it isn't a place I'd personally choose to revisit anytime soon.

Five locations and they have not lost a step. The menu is simple and does not need to be anything else. Plenty of omelette options, solid sides, and the star of the show: the Heavenly Hot Cakes. The name is not marketing fluff, it earns every word. Light, airy, and unlike any pancake you will find at a generic breakfast chain. Their secret, sour cream folded into the batter. Whatever they are doing, it works! We ordered a single stack, two Heavenly Hot Cakes, and paired it with a side of strawberries and Nutella, scrambled eggs, and home fried potatoes. The bacon came out crispy to perfection, exactly as requested, no more no less. The strawberries and Nutella alongside the pancakes was an indulgent combination that I have zero regrets about. Portions are generous and the prices are more than fair for what you get. Staff was friendly and the place fills up fast on weekends, so join the waitlist before you leave home. Do not show up and hope for the best. Five stars. A Utah breakfast institution that continues to earn it.

Every dish that came to our table looked like it belonged in a magazine, but the best part was that the food tasted just as incredible as it looked. We started with the Eggs Benedict, which featured perfectly poached eggs, flavorful rosemary ham, rich hollandaise, and crispy potatoes. The Funky Monkey French Toast was over-the-top in the best possible way, loaded with Nutella, bananas, berries, roasted peanuts, and real maple syrup. The double cheeseburger was juicy, packed with flavor, and paired perfectly with crispy fries. We also loved the Beet & Strawberry Panzanella, which balanced sweet strawberries, earthy beets, creamy whipped goat cheese, crunchy pecans, and fresh mint for a refreshing combination. The biggest surprise of the meal was the beignets. Warm, fluffy, and generously dusted with powdered sugar, they were easily one of the best we've ever had. We arrived for our 12:45 reservation and checked in on time. No greeting. The blonde hostess said there'd be a 10-20 minute wait. Fine. When I checked again, the brunette hostess claimed we "weren't on the list," even though we had a confirmed reservation. After some back‑and‑forth, she suddenly found it and told us to come back in five minutes. We were finally seated, then ignored for 20 minutes with no water, no greeting, nothing. The blonde eventually took our order, apologized, and said the brunette "didn't know we were there," even though she was the one who sat us. She offered a $10 gift card we never received. Two dishes we ordered were unavailable -- and we only found out after waiting another 20-30 minutes and watching tables seated after us get their food first. No manager was available, just a "server assistant" who couldn't do much. By the time we left, it was 2:00 PM. We'd been there over an hour with no food and nonstop confusion. A nearby table mentioned slow service too, so clearly this wasn't just us. Key issues: * No greeting * Reservation "lost" * Seated then ignored * Two menu items unavailable * Conflicting stories from staff * Promised gift card never given * No manager available I hate writing negative reviews, but this experience was unacceptable from start to finish, and people deserve to know.
