The space is cute and bright, and the Hawaiian-inspired menu is a fun concept for brunch. The food was decent, but nothing really stood out or wowed me, especially for the wait and the price point. Some dishes felt a little under-seasoned, and service was friendly but a bit slow when it was busy. It's not bad by any means, but it didn't quite live up to the hype. I'd come back if it was convenient, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. Solid, just average overall.

Guys I'm obsessed with this place! My husband and I went for a morning brunch date and had an amazing experience! Staff took such great care of us and the food was phenomenal! I would highly recommend this place for brunch asap!!

Food was okay, lacks some original flavor, service was basic and okay. Not bad. Ambiance was excellent! Recommend for brunch!

My husband and I love to try new spots and saw this restaurant as one of the newer brunch places, so we decided to stop by. Wait wasn't too bad, it was about 30 minutes. However they don't really have a waiting lobby to sit inside so it would be crowded by the entrance if you came on a rainy day like we did. The hostess sat us comfortably since we had our baby as well. We ordered the loco moco, and I had the kalua pig Benedict. At first I did ask for the fried rice, but the Benedict came with potatoes instead because the waiter mistakenly heard potatoes. Which is okay because those potatoes were so good! They complement the dish probably better than the fried rice would. The kalua pork was delicious and not salty at all as most times I would have kalua pork it would be salty. We had the ham and pineapple sausage on the side which were good too! I rated 4 stars because of the waiters mistake and she did constantly forget some things we asked which we constantly had to remind her. Despite that though she was great and mistakes happen. Keep in mind this is a small cafe so it's ideal for a small group or a couple, not a big group. I would definitely be back!

We were pleasantly surprised with this place and will continually get better as this area is developed! We walked in early on a Tuesday morning and there were a handful of people there. First, this place is stunning. They put the work in and did it right from the tables, chairs, window coverings, lighting and even the restroom. We sat down and were quickly met by the waitress. She was pleasant and willing to help with a happy face. The food as you can tell from the photos was prepared with care and still fairly quick. The avocado toast was plentiful as you can tell it felt like they used about 14 different avocados to fill the plate. The eggs Benedict is something I will personally go back for. It isn't just your regular English muffin from a grocery store. It looked like handmade bread. The eggs were perfectly poached as well. They were runny just as you'd expect. The service during breakfast wasn't overly pushy or in your face but always there. Give this place a try and you will not be disappointed!

This restaurant is lovely. The food is an elevated take on Hawaiian breakfast with touches of Lilikoi, coconut, spam, fried rice, loco moco in some of the dishes. I tried the loco moco, banana chantilly pancake, and the omelet, and the portions are generously sized, which is always a plus. I like that they have seasonal drinks and variety like Italian soda. It's a small spot right by the ballpark, so the crowd fills up quickly.

Aloha! Welcome to Downtown Daybreak-the first restaurant to open in the area. It's an upscale Hawaiian cafe-but not the typical food you might be expecting. I pictured teriyaki chicken rice bowls, but was pleasantly surprised by chicken cranberry sandwiches and other refreshing delights. The space is clean and modern-very aesthetically appealing. Service was friendly and attentive. They did run out of turkey, which impacted the turkey sandwich, but the chicken substitute was still nice. I look forward to returning and trying different dishes.

Came here on Christmas Eve, it was a long wait because we came at a prime time. They don't take reservations so be prepared to wait to get a table and to eat if you have a big party like our table of 12. It was worth the wait! Our family loves this place! We've been here 3x's and it won't be the last. Our fav is the loco moco, lilikoi mochi pancakes, MC special, Salmon Benedict, our kids love to get the fancy sodas, shakes, lattes, we haven't had anything we don't like lol We'll be back!

Cute little resturant with good service but the food was just eh. Island inspired menu but lacking on island size ordered the crab eggs benedict. That is all you get. Nothing else. You can add on but they are pricey already. It wasn't something I'd try again if I ever go back. Also ordered the short rib loco moco with fried rice and it was good just didn't have enough short ribs for a big island girl like myself Ordered a short stack Lilikoi mochi and banana chantilly. It is a huge portion and it was good. I must say though my cup of Kona coffee was on point, with 1 free refill. The best part of my experience here.

We must've went at the wrong time because we had a 40 minute wait. Servers and front end were super nice and cool with us. It was definitely WORTH the wait. It's a small cafe but a good size. Tables and chairs are positioned to where you're not elbowing the other guests enjoying their meals lol. I've been a places like that before. Not cool! The staff are really friendly and seem to love their jobs. Food is a little pricey for those with ihop expectations. BUT again, worth it. The individual pancakes?! HUGE! It can feed two people or a large sized guy (like my husband) lol! I had the sweet bread French toast. Probably my favorite. My son had the steak loco moco and even that meal was a big portion (my 11 yr old can eat, he's a big boy). Overall, I would for sure recommend sitting these guys for breakfast/brunch or whatever floats your boat. Check them out.

A bit of a drive from S. Ogden but worth every bite. This cozy but chic restaurant in Daybreak had delicious and unique offerings like Lilikoi mochi pancakes and braised short rib loco moco. We will drive back to try the other specials! Our server was super friendly as well.

I really wanted to like this place because I live down the street. The presentation of the food had me excited, it looked delicious. I ordered the Short Rib Loco Moco with fried rice. The fried rice was good. The gravy was bland and the meat tasted reheated. My wife had the veggie omelet and loved it. I'll probably give it one more try and order something different.

First time here and enjoyed it! Cute little venue in downtown Daybreak. I ordered the MC Breakfast...scrambled eggs, Portuguese sausage and toast. One of their fall special drinks was the pumpkin spice latte. Delicious! Service was great! I will be back.

Beautiful high ceilings and open spaces.

Garlic chicken, perfect. It's fried to crispy perfection then covered in garlic sauce done right. Chicken Katsu, amazing (although what chicken Katsu isn't?!?). If you go on a Friday you can't go wrong with the beef short ribs an absolute stud of a protein/meat choice. Yum freaking yum. Let us not forget the sides, the supporting characters that can make the difference between a good show and an epic one. Their Mac salad contains imitation crab giving it that extra something and pushing it above those "other guys". Rice is rice, good job. For the more adventurous than the typical Utahn palette try that cucumber cup, spicy? Yes. Crunchy? Yes. Good? Yes.

What I Loved Spam Musubi: I happened to go on a Monday and scored the Buy 1 Get 1 Free deal, which was such a win. The ribs had a beautiful char and were super tender, while the chicken was juicy and well-marinated. You really can't beat those massive scoops of white rice and that creamy macaroni salad on the side. Island Fire Chicken: I also tried the spicy chicken, and it had a great kick! It was spicy enough to be exciting but didn't mask the actual flavor of the meat. The value here is hard to beat, especially with the Monday musubi deal.
