Food, service and ambience were only ok. On the plus side Chubby's was clean. I wouldn't recommend.

A solid spot for seafood with a nice atmosphere. The menu has a good variety, the food is fresh,…read moreand everything we ordered was well prepared and flavorful. It's a great place for a date night or a nicer meal without feeling overly formal. Service was friendly, though it can be a bit slow when it's busy, which is the only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five. Overall, a good experience and a restaurant I'd definitely come back to. The parmesan crusted sole is my favorite!

Here we were, a merry fellowship -- my husband Trace, daughter Haven and her boyfriend Michael,…read moredaughter McKenna and her fiancé Tanner -- setting out last Friday on what we thought was simply a birthday dinner to celebrate Tanner's 25th year. Little did we know, we were embarking on a full-blown Hobbit-level quest for my precious at Wild Fin. None of us had been before. We had no idea the treat that awaited us. Our journey began, as all good quests should, with bread -- specifically the rosemary potato bread recommended by our server, Elana (wise guide, that one). She did not steer us wrong. We found ourselves utterly divided, and equally obsessed, over which treasure was greater: the savory garlic butter or the fig butter. In the end, we surrendered and declared both worthy artifacts, perfectly whetting our appetites for what can only be described as a pure culinary holiday of epic proportions. Now, Trace is on a lifelong quest -- nay, a calling -- to discover the world's best calamari. So naturally, we pressed onward. And friends... if you have never ordered a second round of appetizers, let this be the night you start. This calamari is so good that even those of us who once thought this quest a bit eccentric quickly became devoted pilgrims. The destination? Reached on the first trip. Undoubtedly, unquestionably, the best calamari you will ever experience. Stop looking. Just go to Wild Fin. But was that the end of our foraging adventure? Oh, you sweet summer Hobbit -- no. From the seared ahi tuna, to the scallops and prawns, to the surf-and-turf salmon and filet, every dish felt like another jeweled prize pulled from a dragon's hoard. Even the humble burger shone: Michael stared at it in reverent silence, declared it too pretty to eat, and then promptly announced it was the best burger he'd ever had. Drinks were spot-on, plates returned empty, and every last morsel whispered, stay... linger... order more. By the end, we wished we were Hobbits -- specifically the kind who eat second dinner like Trace, in lieu of any breakfast at all. So let it be known: this Riverton gem is Karen-approved. Our fellowship will absolutely return, hearts full, appetites ready, and always in pursuit of my precious.

We were excited to try this new location at the Ball park . We went here on Saturday night. They…read morewere pretty busy but we got seated right away . I ordered the Halibut fish n chips & vanilla Diet Coke . My husband got the chili burger & onion rings . It took forever for our food to arrive . We started to notice that people that had came in after us were getting their food before us . We asked our waiter & he said he would find out where our food was at. Finally after waiting 45 minutes they brought out our food but forgot the onion rings . They brought those out after a few minutes. The food was hot & fresh . The fish was crisp & flakey it was delicious. The fries were good & the fry sauce is amazing. The chili burger was good it came with 2 patties . The chili is spicy & flavorful with lots of cheese . The onion rings were good the onions are thick & the breading is crunchy. This order of onion rings is on the smaller side. They did offer a 15% off discount since our food took so long . The prices are kinda high but the food is good .

It makes sense that a place like this would be brought into Downtown Daybreak. It's brand new, and they are still working on some finishing touches. Like, signage, for example. Everything looks pretty temporary and still being finished. I also noticed that there was no music, which, paired with the lack of decor, made things feel a little sterile. The food was good-just what you'd expect from Hires. I ordered the chicken fingers and fries and ended up with so much food leftover that I had a whole separate meal later. Portion sizes are generous! I look forward to seeing how they settle in and get comfortable.

First, the food took a long time to get to us I'm sure the burgers are made to order but, it seemed longer than usual. The next reason is although the food had good flavor I didn't feel like I got what I paid for. For $20 I wish the burger to bun ratio was more even. The burger was 1/3 the size of the bun. Perhaps a mistake was made and it was the pub size? I was charged for the stack size so if that's what you get it's pretty small. Also I upgraded to the onion rings and I literally got 5 they were crispy but maybe a little too crispy. I get that profit margins for restaurants are slim but it seemed like everything was skimped on. The place had a cool vibe and the beverages look great. I was overall disappointed with the skimpiness.
