Slackwater is my go to. I almost always do their seasonal pizza. Their waitlist works pretty well and our quoted time was pretty accurate. I will say, I think instead of raising prices they have made their pizza smaller. read more

Gotta preface this by saying that it was a VERY busy Friday evening and I'm giving Slackwater a bit of a break because of it. Our normal location is Sandy but came here with friends. Our party called in for 6pm waitlist. We arrived at 5:59 and they had already given our spot to someone else because we weren't there at 5:57. They then proceeded to sit us outside where it was is insanely windy. Menus, napkins were blowing off our table and the tables around us. Everything was everywhere and we couldn't keep anything on the table. We put plates and cups on menus to hold them down as long as we could. I asked the waiter if we could be on a waitlist to sit inside and he said sure. 5 min later she proceeded to bring the people at the table next to us inside and never brought us inside the entire time we were there. As we were trying to eat in the wind, another waiter proceeded to empty water over a nearby fence, and because it was sooo windy, the water ended up coming back and splashing our entire party in the face. That part of the valley is just insanely windy in general and if they want outdoor seating, they gotta prepare better for the weather. The beer is always great and the pizza is solid. The experience was just sub par. I'll stick to the Sandy location. read more

I like Slackwater and have had good experiences there, but something I saw on my last visit made me a little uncomfortable. A waiter was carrying four pizzas at once, one balanced near his bicep, another on his forearm, and two stacked in his hand. I understand they were probably just trying to get everything out efficiently, and the balancing itself wasn't really my concern. What bothered me was seeing the pizzas stacked with what looked like the bottom of one plastic pizza tray sitting directly on top of the pizza underneath it, with nothing separating the tray from the food. Since the bottoms of those trays can come into contact with counters, tables, racks, or other surfaces, it just didn't seem sanitary to have one touching food that's about to be served. I still like Slackwater and this isn't meant to bash the restaurant or the waiter. I just think there should be a better way to carry multiple pizzas so that the bottom of a tray never comes into direct contact with someone else's food. Ai pic for reference* read more

Food was vey disappointing! I'd eaten at another slackwater and bragged about the food! Here it was cold, undercooked and with minimal cheese next to no sauce and very little toppings. It did not even appear To have the hot honey. We were all very disappointed! I was sad that I had talked Up the place... read more

Does not live up to the hype, but not surprising a Utahan's palate enjoys it. Unfortunately excellent pizza is few and far between here.

Great service, clean, and no wait today. Food was great except the dip with the Diablo sticks. Not sure if its a bbq or marinara or mix but not good at all. The whole table was not a fan. Got ranch for it and that was 100% better. Pizza and salad were great. read more

Really, about the best pizza around. Pricey. Great service. Great menu options and a fantastic setting.

We went for a friend's birthday party! Immediately went to yelp to see where Pizza's looked good I came across the Hulk and quickly made my decision. The pizza was delightful and extremely fresh. The avocado was perfectly ripe so when I took a bite of the pizza, the avocado would split very nicely. I would 100% give this a try again. As for the dessert, it was very average. I would not recommend eating their desserts here as it's more of a pizza place in my opinion if you're gonna get a dessert, I would check out some other places. read more

Slackwater was a fun evening, really strong beer selection and excellent pizza and apps. I tried the Tikkachu and really liked it, especially the touch of honey in the crust which made it stand out. All the appetizers were solid as well and worked great for sharing. Overall, a really enjoyable spot with good food and drinks. Definitely worth the hype and...wait. read more

You can never go wrong picking Slack Water for dinner. This was our first time at the Herriman location and I think it will become or top pick for when we a craving pizza. After getting news of long wait times at a different location, I called Herriman to see if they could accommodate our large party. The host was so kind and said she would get a table ready. Our food was amazing just like the service. I 100% recommend Slack Water Herriman. read more

This is my go-to spot for pizza, salad, wings, and of course--the perfect beer! The staff is always attentive and friendly, whether we dine in or place a to-go order. They always make sure everything comes out just right. My favorite order is the Caesar Salad, Taco Camarón Pizza, and Morita Wings--so good every time! I also love their monthly menu; they always have something new and delicious to try. read more

Slackwater in Herriman is always a win. The pizzas are amazing! Perfectly cooked, loaded with toppings, and full of flavor every single time. Pair that with their sangria (so good) and it makes for the perfect night out. What really sets this location apart, though, is the staff. Everyone is friendly, attentive, and genuinely makes you feel taken care of from start to finish. The vibe is fun, welcoming, and consistent, which keeps us coming back. One of our favorite spots for great food, drinks, and an all-around great experience. Love that they do a special menu every month, this is a spot I frequent way too often! Best pizza in SLC in my opinion! read more

Solid pizza option! I love their Hot Honey DP. One of their best pizzas in my opinion. The service was solid, our server was quick and chipper, and the ambiance of the restaurant was clean and welcoming. Not much to see outside the restaurant windows except for houses, but the area is growing and it will be cool to see how it changes in the next year or so. read more

The food is very good, but the service can be hit or miss. We like their menu and it's a fun place to take our son for dinner.

First time to this location and it was a good experience! Wait time wasn't too bad and the hostess kept our group informed of timing, especially since we came at a busier time. Service was pretty good for our party of 6. Order: California Sunrise, Cardiac Arrest, Pua'a Luau, Hot Honey Dip, The Hulk, Buffalo Chicken pizzas, Citrus Morita Dry Rub wings, calzone (not sure which one). All items were delicious, well made, and did not lack in flavor. There was enough to share and take some home for a midnight snack. While I didn't have any of the beers available, those that did enjoyed the few they did try. The menu is not so large where you may take a minute to order, but there is something even a picky eater can choose. The only thing I would say could have been better is the seating. While the table fit 6 people, the 6 people would have to be smaller in size to fit well. And seeing that we all ordered our own pizzas and we were trying to fit all the things on this table, it really didn't work in our favor. I sat partially off the table because I am not smaller in size and felt in the way of the staff that needed to move around the already crammed area in the back of the restaurant. ADA compliant, place seemed clean inside and outside of this location. read more

Went here with 6 friends on my birthday. My girlfriend has celiac disease and this place is so incredibly accommodating for that! Food was great and everyone was happy with their pizza and the nachos appetizer was sooooo good. It was a little loud but that's expected as it's a family friendly sports bar environment. Highly recommend read more

4.5 out of 5 stars! We love Slackwater. The Mister is from Buffalo, NY and worked in kitchens making wings for almost a decade. These are the only good wings we've had since we've been in Utah. Crispy, no breading, perfect amount of sauce. We got several pizzas and they were all great. The crust is crispy with those glorious bubbles. We asked for "well done" pizza because we love a little extra char. One kid got "It Tastes Like Burning" and rated it a 6/10 on the heat factor. The other kiddo got "Cuban Pizza Crisis" with red sauce and was a huge fan. The Mister and I split "From the Earth" and we loved it. Our service was awesome. Everyone is so friendly. This felt like a neighborhood hang out spot. read more

I'd had this spot bookmarked for a while and finally decided to give it a try with friends. I ordered the Southern Comfort pizza and the char-tipped roasted pork chili verde nachos. The pizza was solid. It was a nice balance of sweet BBQ with savory chicken. The thin crust had a great char on the edges too. The nachos on the other hand, were a huge portion (definitely enough for 3-4 people), but I wasn't a big fan. There wasn't much pork, and some of the chips were overly burnt, which made them hard to enjoy. I think they would've been better with more of the black bean corn salsa and a bit more pork overall. Overall, the nachos were a miss for me but the pizza was tasty. I'd come back again to try more of their pizzas! read more

Great service, great beer list, *amazing* wings, decent pizza. Would go back to get the wings for sure.

Love their pizza creation. Went to Draper for work and my coworkers recommended this place. I love it. All the pies were individual serving so it's enough to fill you up. I would like to try different pies when I'm come back. The flavor is nothing like here in Cali. The service was so nice. Everyone here is so friendly read more

Great pizza, wings and vibes. Also have carry out options if you call. They have always done a fantastic job.

Menus do not disappoint. For a place based around pizza, there are plenty of options for all kinds of people. And also have other options for people who aren't in the mood for pizza. Beware of the spicy marinara, packs alot more heat than one would think. And the drink menu is so big that anyone can find a drink they would enjoy. With such a casual vibe, its great for a date night or just drinks with friends. read more

All bow to the mighty Slackwater! I can't think of a time I've eaten here and haven't been absolutely satisfied. Amazingly large selection of beer, seltzers and ciders. Every pizza has been delicious. Can't go wrong with the Hot Honey DP. Turning any of the pizzas into a calzone is a fantastic choice. Even their brunch pizza on Sundays is to die for. Their salads and sandwiches even somehow put up a fight to their pies. Monthly drink and food specials. Love their November pizza special: Thanksgiving Leftovers. Great patio seating that has a great view of the open field behind them. Service has always been top notch, no matter the server we get. Thank you for coming out to this side of the valley read more

Their salads are fantastic but the pizzas were only fine. They could have used more cheese for sure or at least cheese that went to the edge of the pizza. However the others in my group loved it. So it's certainly a preference. read more

First time here today and it was FANTASTIC! The pizzas were all pretty interesting-- even a thanksgiving one (November special) -- turkey/ stuffing/ mashed potatoes! We weren't too hungry, so my husband and I just shared one. We decided to try The Italian job. I have to admit, I'm not very adventurous -- and a pep and mushroom kind of girl. Hubby is a Hawaiian pizza guy. But we wanted to be brave and try and OMG -- this was AMAZING! I have never even tried a pepperoncinis and I usually say sauce on the side but -- we kept it as is! I was shocked how well all of it went together! I was even adding the pepponcinis that fell off my slice into my bites! I always thought they were spicy but it not. AND ...There was a creamy herb vinaigrette on top --I want a bottle of it! It was just the right zest to finish off the flavors in the pizza. Now we definitely want to come back and try others. We trusted the creators of these pizzas and this one was a win! Hopefully we find more. BTW- you can get on the waitlist on Yelp (there was no wait for lunch today). And extra 1/2 star for this establishment giving a military discount! :) Since it was lunch - we didn't drink but they have a GIGANTIC SELECTION of beer, a full bar. Hubby says we need to come back as a datenite and try! read more

Fantastic pizza! Actually my favorite pizza! Been to four of their locations around Utah all of the are great! Also great service! We love the monkey dressing(ranch) so we always order a few of those it's happened a few time that we have to ask for them after the pizza comes but he actually brought them before so we were ready to go when the pizza came out! Oooooohhhhh boy!!! THIS is a pizza! We had the seasonal Strawberry Fields pizza. Wow! The flavors were excellent! Divine! Their crust--I would buy their pizza just for the crust. No uneaten pizza bones here, I savored every bite of that crust. And it was even great reheated. I'm moving to Sandy, where they have another location, and I'm excited. This, ladies and gentlemen, is supreme pizza! 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs! read more
