My husband and I love coming here, and the food is typically worth the drive. This last time, however, it felt like we kept missing. The main blunder of the evening was their Brie Toast starter. It was just, not very good. Flavor was off, more bland really. And the toast provided was stale. :/ Always love their pizza and pastas, though.

My friends and I went to here for lunch. I love that they take reservations. I wasn't a fan of the downtown one, so I wasn't sure if this would be better. Parking was chaotic but doable. Overall the food was good and the restaurant had plenty of seating and a good atmosphere. My Southwest Salad with blackened chicken was delicious--well dressed with super fresh sliced avocado on top. The cocktails were beautifully crafted, although they weren't very boozy. I'm aware that you can't put much alcohol in them in Utah, but I've had much better. I should've gotten a beer. The service was fine. I would come back and try more things.

Red Rock has had some great beers available on tap and in bottle. I was visiting Fashion place and decided to stop in for a quick drink before going on. This staff was super friendly and fun, it was around the holidays and some people were even dressed up for the occasion. It's important to know that getting a beer here REQUIRES you to get a food item, as part of the alcohol license. It's not terrible, I needed some vegetables anyway, so the $3-4 basket of carrot chips was my snack while drinking. This place is built more as a restaurant, and they have some great food items, and I would definitely stop in for a dinner. The restaurant is in a hard to park part of the mall, but the holiday week is definitely a chaotic time to visit. The interior gives a ski lodge decor with super friendly staff and a welcome reprieve from the busy foot traffic of the mall.

A solid casual spot with some definite highlights. The apps and pizza are tasty, and the sweet potato cannoli is hands down my favorite, so unique and delicious! The warm goat cheese salad is always a hit! The atmosphere is relaxed and perfect for a laid-back meal, and great beer selection as well! Definitely a good option if you're looking for something tasty and casual.

A little lacking in ambiance but hey, it's a brewery. They had a decent selection of cocktails for us non-beer people. We had great service.

I have to say we had a party of 16 and they did an amazing job handling the group. The Drinks were great and the food was great but not amazing. They do have great homemade root Beer.

Delicious chicken pot pie, flavorful and full of seasoning. Chock full of veggies and a good amount of chicken. The crust was flaky and soft. The black bean burger was delightful with savory pita filled black beans and fresh lettuce, onions and tomatoes. The side of Cole slaw was extremely flavorful and had the amount of vinegar and oil.

I've been back a few times, but tonight was more disappointing than most. Although our server was exceptional, the food took an hour to get out. They were empty tables around me so I have no idea why but the kitchen was super Duper slow. Add to that, they seated a family next to us, which I'm not normally opposed to, but the child had their iPad on at a loud volume with no headphones. Nobody wants to listen to that. It certainly drop the experience down a few notches. I would've asked the server to ask the family to turn down the iPad but food came out so late. I had to leave quickly. My turkey burger was good but an hour to get it? Unacceptable.

Here's an improved version of your review with a more polished tone and structure: We visited on a Friday evening around 5:30 PM with a party of three--no wait! However, we were seated in the far back of the restaurant, which was poorly lit. The dining area felt almost uncomfortably dark due to several burnt-out light bulbs. I even struggled to read my menu because of my seating position. Our waiter was friendly, patient, and knowledgeable about the menu, which was particularly helpful as one of our party members has dietary restrictions due to being on an extremely low-fiber diet. They ordered the Redrock Burger in a bread dough pocket and were able to enjoy most of the toppings served on the side. They paired it with horseradish mashed potatoes, which they thoroughly enjoyed. Another member of our party ordered the Reuben sandwich with sweet potato waffle fries. They especially loved the sauerkraut on the sandwich, but the pickle was unexpected. It lacked the tangy vinegar flavor typical of pickles and leaned toward a sweeter taste--not quite a bread-and-butter pickle, but something different. That said, the sweet potato fries were crispy and absolutely delicious! I opted for the rotisserie chicken, which is literally half a bird. While the flavor was fairly bland, I appreciate the portion size (leftovers are always a bonus!), I've realized this dish is a bit challenging to eat in public. With all the bones and cartilage, it's just not the easiest to enjoy comfortably at the table. The side of raw waffle-cut carrots with ranch was simple but refreshing. However, the carrots at the bottom of the dish were waterlogged, so I had to dry them off to get the ranch to stick. The cooked vegetable medley offered a nice variety, though it, too, was slightly watery and a little bland. Overall, the food was enjoyable, and the service was great, but the ambiance and minor details with the sides could use some attention.

First of all, Bekka (sp), did a great job on the service aspect. Ambience is great, but with the 'industrial' decor, it's loud. But that is the way places are designed anymore. My bother and I split a large order of onion rings. Taste was great, but the last 3 were soaking in oil, pretty much inedible. I had an Amber, very good malt and hop flavor. I also had a Citra Black. Great beer, but not available for carryout at the Murray location. Bummer, gotta hit a liquor store. There is no beer list with descriptions of the available brews, major bummer. Please fix that.

    Bar or restaurant?

It's licensed as a restaurant, so kids are allowed and you have to order food in order to drink. They have "legislation" pretzels for $0.25.

How late on Sunday do they have the $2 mimosas and bloody Mary's?

We serve those ALL day (from 10:30 am to 9:30 pm) :)

Unfortunately, our waitress, Carol (older lady with blond curly hair) , was very rude and made us feel uncomfortable. When I asked my friends if they wanted another shot, Carol interrupted and asked, "Who's driving?" We ubered. We had also eaten and were not acting drunk, loud, or causing any problems. It wasn't the question that bothered us--it was the way she asked it and how she spoke to us afterward. Her tone was condescending and made us feel like she thought we were irresponsible and didn't know our own limits. We are all well over 21 and were simply enjoying food and drinks. After snarkily saying, "Let's think about that first.." she walked away and never came back to our table. Angie ended up helping us and checking us out and telling us our waitresses name. Angie was kind, professional, and even apologized for our experience even though none of it was her fault. The rude service from Carol completely ruined what was otherwise a nice night out. We have NEVER been treated this way before at other places. Because of how we were treated, I will not be returning.

I knew from the parking lot this place was a winner. Once inside, it had a welcoming atmosphere and people inside were all having a good time. This brewery features Lager Beers crafted using traditional Bavarian/European methods...thus I had to try one...two...maybe more. Luckily there was a ton of delicious looking food on the menu from the expected pizzas and wings to the old world treats like beef stroganoff, goulash and schnitzal. Everything is made from scratch and I couldn't help looking at all the neighboring tables to get an idea of what to try. Our waitress Ashley was really helpful and checked if the pesto was made with nuts as we have peanut and tree nut allergies in our family. Luckily there were no pine nuts or other substitutes and we could safely have it! We ended up getting quite a feast of plates and then topped it off with two desserts- the bread pudding and the German chocolate cake (couldn't come to a family agreement so had to get both!). It had a fresh taste to it and even a little lemon-y, which didn't make the fried cutlet taste too rich. It came with mashed potatoes, gravy and veggies. The veggies were your basic steamed veggies, but the dish was overall good. Service was great-server was attentive and the manager came around as well to check on us. Our server was funny, personable, and attentive, especially when it came to drinks and refills. Things started going downhill when I received my entree, the Poor Man's Truffle. Unfortunately, the only way this dish lived up to its name was in how little the supposedly high-quality ingredients seemed to come through. The dish itself is fairly simple, which normally isn't a bad thing when the ingredients are meant to speak for themselves. With Belper Knolle, truffle oil, pistachio pesto, tomato, fennel, and arugula, I expected something flavorful and well balanced. Instead, the entire dish tasted incredibly mild. Belper Knolle is typically a bold, salty, peppery cheese, and I could visibly see the black pepper around the edges of the thin shavings, but the flavor barely registered. I also couldn't taste the truffle oil at all. There was visible oil pooling at the bottom of the plate, but no noticeable truffle flavor. I understand pistachio pesto tends to be more subtle than a traditional basil pesto, but altogether, this dish just fell completely flat for me. The presentation didn't help either. It looked more like something that had been scooped from a pan and dropped onto the plate than a thoughtfully plated entree. When a dish misses both on flavor and presentation, that's when it becomes a real disappointment for me. I will say the gnocchi itself was cooked well, which was one of the few positives. I also tried the burger, and it was significantly better than my pasta. However, the very small sprinkle of bacon was a little baffling considering it was an additional upcharge. Where the night really went downhill was at the end of the meal. I had been excited to try the beignets because that isn't a dessert I see on menus very often. Our entree plates were cleared, and then we waited about 20 minutes before our server returned and asked whether we were ready for the check. Dessert wasn't mentioned, and by that point our table was tired of waiting, so we decided to skip it and asked for our checks. Then our server disappeared for another 30 minutes. We eventually had to flag down a hostess who was seating another table and let her know that we were still waiting for the check. About five minutes later, our server finally returned and casually explained how "crazy" the night had gotten because of the show. I understand restaurants get busy, but the apology felt very dismissive after we had waited nearly an hour from finishing our entrees to finally receiving the check. It genuinely felt like our table had simply been forgotten. I also want to add that I tend to hold restaurants like this to a higher standard. I'm a big believer in "you get what you pay for." If I'm eating at a fast-food spot or somewhere inexpensive and casual, there's only so much room to complain. But when a restaurant has prices like this, highlights premium ingredients on the menu, and presents itself as a more elevated dining experience, I think that naturally opens the food and service up to more criticism. At that price point, I expect the quality, presentation, and overall experience to reflect what I'm paying for. My final takeaway is that maybe I ordered the wrong dish. Pesto is one of my favorite things, so I almost always want to give a pesto-based dish a try. Unfortunately, Prohibition's pesto gnocchi was not it for me. I also saw that they describe themselves as a scratch kitchen using high-quality, locally sourced ingredients, which I don't necessarily doubt. What confused me was how so many ingredients that should have distinct flavors somehow tasted like almost nothing. If your goal is interesting drinks and a fun show, this is probably still a place worth considering. Since we sat outside, I can't speak on the show part, but it seems to be a big hit. Food-wise, though, it missed the mark for me.
