    Powdered Sugar Beignets.
    Harper F.

Super cute spot with pretty good food. The service is average. I had a reservation and had to wait for 30+ mins to be seated. Not the greatest first impression. The service after we were seated was pretty slow. The food is good. I had the truck stop breakfast. All of the meals are reasonably priced. If you're going to order anything -- order the powdered beignets!

We ended up at Sunday Best because pancake house has a super long wait and it was the BEST thing that could have happened. The food was amazing!! Their menu had plenty of options so you can go sweet AND savory. I highly suggest getting the Powered Sugar Beignets w/ Raspberry Jam!! Steak and Eggs came with a side of potato crisps that were perfectly seasoned. The estimated the wait to be 20-30 minutes and we were seated in 15. Our waitress Neah was wonderful!! She was constantly refilling drinks and checking in on us. Overall the service was pretty quick for a busy Sunday morning. The inside is so cute and inviting!! It had the essence of a pink flamingo. There was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I did think some of the places they had the two tops made it a little crowded but overall pretty spacious.

A great spot for brunch. The menu has a solid variety, and everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. From sweet to savory, the dishes are well-prepared and perfect for a leisurely morning out. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the staff is friendly and attentive. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is that it can get a little busy and have long wait times, which sometimes slows service. A delicious brunch spot I'd happily return to.

I'm gonna keep this short and sweet. Dining room was pleasant to eat in. My server was amazing and worked with me when I asked for recommendations. No mimosas before 11:30, but that's the state of Utah's fault. Ordered eggs beny, famously difficult to prepare. Poached eggs and hollandaise seemed perfectly made. Eggs runny when cut into and daise unbroken. The two negatives: 1. Pricey. 2. My meal was sub lukewarm. Makes me think it wasn't cooked to order. The upside is it came out super quick.

Sunday's Best is the BEST! Great food, great service and the Best value given the size of the portions and cost. Put all that in a very attractive setting, great patio and just a positive vibe. I had the BLT and it was far beyond my expectations! I've tried several items on the menu and not one has ever disappointed. Brunch is one of my favorites so I am very picky about it. I highly recommend Sunday's Best any day of the week!

    Homemade Toaster strudel

I've been here a few times and to be honest it's a decent place, the service is nice and the ambience overall is fun and aesthetically pleasing, especially for a special kind of occasion brunch/ breakfast. But food is probably a 6/10 not amazing but not bad. The one thing I got different this last time was the homemade toaster strudel and honestly was the best thing I've had there! It was an appetizer, highly recommend getting that if you do go!! That in itself I think is a 9.5/10

Brunch here is always a vibe. I love the salmon toast and egg Shakshuka. Service was excellent and they were so attentive. Love how intimate it feels to dine with friends. Will be going again!

This spot was recommended by a coworker so I suggested it to my the brunch crew and they were game so here we are! I called for a rez but didn't try too hard to nail down a time. It was very nice of the young lady to try instead of shutting me down because I didn't call earlier for a last minute attempt when there's a wait list. Very well handled and note that you must be onsite for a waitlist spot. I arrived and the lot was packed! Patrons were waiting outside sitting on a classy two person bench and on the sidewalk. Dare I mentioned there's two EV chargers? I walk in and it's busy! 30 minutes on the waitlist. Ooooh! There's a bar!!! Diners there too. There is a constant hum of chatter with music barely making an impact to contribute to the ambience. Marissa Joy! IYAkYK So torn to make this a 5 star rating for this AMAZING place. Do I really want more people to know about this dining Mecca?!?!MJ said there's a new location in SLC so if you've not dined here in Sandy, maybe try SLC??? At every level, with everyone I encountered from my first phone call, to my checking in to be added to the wait list, staff coming by, making eye contact and smiling kindly, to checking in when my table was ready, to MARRiSA JOY, initial encounter, coming by, both arms filled with plates bussed from another table in her area checking in to acknowledge us and let us know she will be with us shortly and she was!!! I felt exceptional service and a sense of confidence this was going to be a memorable dining experience. I started my review with 5 stars, even before I was seated, assuming it would be that kind of place... and it was. IYK... MJ, was that perfect blend of professionalism, light hearted humor, knowledgeable, huge genuine smile and a great sense of what great customer service truly is. I could go on and on but MJ checks all the boxes. Great hire. The food! I had to get the Binets. Never had them before but had to try them. So good. Now I know what the hoopla's all about. So light, and that jam! Certainly house made and fresh. I shared them with my brunch crew mate and was a little disappointed he beat me to the punch to cox up the leftover with jam lol...he got the steak and eggs! They looked very good and he ate it all so it gets a 5. The fingerling potatoes were the best breakfast potatoes I've ever had outside of my own at home. So simple but the edge is they are fresh, never frozen... and that ketchup! House made??? Very good! Even the condiments are worth talking about. What else? Oh the cappuccino a double is 4 shots... foam so creamy espresso so perfectly made. Oh CC got the biscuits and gravy... legit! My sister makes the best and the depth of flavor from the sausage gravy and the light biscuits my sibling has some competition at the top of my b&g top 5. The water glasses are glass, not plastic. Class level 5 of 5.... I got the Trucker's Breakfast... sometimes you just bacon and eggs with taters and toast and this was spot on. That sourdough toast was thick, lightly toast, fresh and had the perfect chew. With that house made jam, French kiss... oops! Chefs Kiss! Chef! What else??? Oh the decor...I like it... some tables had a couch for two to give that booth/ table top vibe. Pastel colors...and everyone was so dang nice! Okay come try this place! I will be back here again for sure.

TL DR: a social media hotspot, great service, wide selection of food, higher price vs competitors We stopped here for a quick brunch on a weekday, elite tip: if you're coming in on a weekend get reservations. The decor and theme is very instagrammable. Cute decor. Service: Super friendly staff. Our waitress went above and beyond with my food intolerance, she made sure with the kitchen that my order was safe. Thank you! 5/5 Food: Great combination of flavors , BLT Benedict with added avocado. Fluffy toast, perfectly poached eggs, and that sauce is epic. Food 5/5 Price was a little steep in comparison to others who offer brunch. Overall you're paying for the entire experience. If you want a spot to feature on your next insta story/social media this is it! Super cute ambiance!

Hot box tent with heaters and uncleaned tables. Awful.
    Deanna M.

Literally top 5 worst food places I have ever been to in my life. I actually regret not eating at Ihop or Denny's. I would give a -5 if I could. We were stuck outside in the hot ass claustrophobic tent with heaters on. It was a million degrees. Unused silverware stored in filthy conditions. The health dept needs to check it out. Service is literally nonexistent. Sat and waited 20 mins for drink order to be taken. Then another 10 for drinks. Then another 15 mins for the order to be taken. The sun was blasting our faces. We asked to be moved inside but were told no. The other tables in the tent were vacant and left uncleaned after use with filthy dishes and whatever. We moved to one of the dirty tables somewhat in the shade. Food was average at best. Waited for a coffee refill that never came. No water. Had to go to the front to have someone give us the check. Have no clue why this place is packed other than maybe the aesthetic inside. Bathroom was a mess with no toilet paper. The absolute worst place we have been to in a looonnnng time.

    Adorable glassware!

Three words: Girl. Boss. Brunch. We had such an amazing time at Sunday's Best! Everything in this establishment is well designed and planned, from the pink napkins and creative glassware to the unique tiling and funky light fixtures. The number of incredibly cool and confident women working in this establishment was so awesome - and they were all dressed SO cute. I've never felt so welcome and excited as I did walking in here - it feels like a fun girls' club! To add to this, they have fun music playing that just adds to the bright, energetic atmosphere. Now, let me be clear. ALL of this caught my attention and stole my heart, *before they even brought me my food*. We got the monkey bread, the breakfast burrito, and the seared ahi. Each and every item was a nice blend of textures and flavors, and definitely filling! The monkey bread was deliciously slathered in icing, but was not soggy or overly sweet. It was like a cinnamon roll's cool older cousin. My husband's ahi tuna was fresh, with a bite of acid from the yuzu soy sauce. His avocado was perfectly ripe. My breakfast burrito was crisp on the outside, with a delicious fresh tortilla and sauce that I considered drinking straight from the tin. My husband and I walked out of here happy, full, and I'm salivating at the mouth for my next opportunity to dine at Sunday's Best!

Spicy Chicken Sando - not bad!
    Phamhong G.

Overpriced and definitely a social media worthy spot with cute decor and photo ops. Over a 1 hour wait with no reservation but I'm glad we stuck around for this meal since options are limited in the area. The customer service was mediocre. Not once did our server check on us and we had to go out of our way to get his attention. I felt he was a little bothered by our requests. He came over with our check and thought we were done ordering, but we weren't, so that was strange. Side note: I wasn't expecting female servers in tiny shirts exposing their midriff while I eat my brunch. I had the spicy chicken sandwich which wasn't too bad and it had good flavor, but the bun was sad. The fries were good. The breakfast burrito and the salsa it comes with is good, but the burrito is small. I could've gone without ordering the side of sourdough toast, it came with what looked like a homemade raspberry jam that was unique. The "mimosa experience" was a whopping $60. I know the champagne isn't anything expensive/fancy so to charge that much is outrageous. But at least they had a lot of juice flavor options. $7 for a mimosa by itself and you can mostly just taste the juice. The prickly pear and blood orange are delicious. The bathroom is a fire hazard. There was a lit candle on the sink, closest to the paper towels. Overall, a decent dining experience with decent food. Definitely make a reservation ahead of time!

My friend and I was in the area to run a marathon. We stopped in here at noon on a Friday for lunch or brunch. Nearby parking was kind of scarce, but we circled the block and ended up parking near Subway. Just from looking at their menu, I must say that we were not their target demographic. However, they did have a pretty nice steak & eggs plate. I got that with an Americano. That was a good combination. The steak was excellent. Service was very nice and friendly.

They also had a some sort of flavor we couldn't identify. Not to mention they look like they were scooped from an ice cream scoop and felt very cafeteria. The gravy was thick like a jelly, seemed packaged and nasty. She also ordered the asparagus which didn't feel like it was blanched properly. They were squishy, but tasted fine. The sesame sauce was quite good. I ordered a burger which came out initially soggy. It was not edible. Nate got a new one out for me though. The bun was toasted in a way I'd never had before, which was an interesting and welcome surprise. Dessert was good with a lava cake and a creme brulee cheesecake. As for ambiance, it felt dated. Tables were too close and we were left to listen to the very loud, obscenity laced and vulgar guest behind my wife. Not the restaurant's fault, but still not pleasant in a fairly small space. But we did visit with the guests next to us which we enjoyed. In the end, the restaurant comp'd my dinner and dessert which I was willing to pay for but also appreciated. For date night last night, my wife and I patronized Los Cucos here in Sandy, as it had been at least four years since we last ate at this restaurant. We were seated immediately, but it was almost as if we were in a different restaurant from what we remembered from our past visits. Last night it was bright, stark, noisy, and felt like a sports bar with all the many flat-screen TVs on the wall. They even had a huge speaker system hanging from the ceiling, set up, no doubt for large parties? Not what we expected for a well-patronized Mexican (Tex-Mex?) restaurant in Sandy. Rosa was our server and did a nice job taking care of us, but it really went downhill from there. The menu was impressive, I'll give them that...but so were the prices (and not in a good way.) My wife ordered Las Sebas (a mini smothered chimichanga with chile verde and two fried taquitos, served with rice and guacamole), and I went with my fave, Carnitas (chunks of slow-cooked pork loin served with tomatillo sauce, sour cream, fresh sliced avocado, onions, pico de gallo, rice, "borracho" beans, and tortillas.) Sounds de-lish, right? Keep reading. I also has a large Margarita ($12.25 + rocks & salt)...and we both enjoyed the chips and salsa...with a warm red salsa and a cool avocado salsa. Then the robot appeared. Yes, of all places, they use a robot to deliver the food to our table...but it still required a server to pull the plates off the robot and put them in front of us. A robot? Really? Our delivery robot stopped just shy of our table right there in the middle of the aisle, and it sat there...for 3-4 minutes waiting for staff. That was 3-4 minutes of our food cooling off even further, not to mention the time it took in the kitchen to load it and the time it took to crawl halfway across the restaurant to our table. Gimmick. I'll speak to my food as it had a nice presentation, but after digging in, it was lacking in many respects. The carnitas were chunky and moist, but damn those big fat globs that were hidden under the meat. Yuck. Honestly, I get much better carnitas locally from Gual Bertos and La Hacienda here in Draper. And the tortillas? Worthless. They were just dry, flaky, cold, and crumbled as I tried to roll them. I had one bite of one. A total waste. The rest of my plate was OK, especially the "borracho beans". The rest was OK but there wasn't a lot of it...and a fair amount (pico de gallo and the lettuce) was hidden under the two flat pieces of lettuce that the kitchen used to decorate my plate. All in all, it didn't seem worth the $21.00 I paid for my entree. I also took about 1/3 of my meal home in a hinged lid container. The whole experience could have been way better. The ambiance was terrible, the food was OK, service was good (but seemed rushed as Rosa brought us our check halfway through our meal and then immediately asked us if we wanted containers for take-home...what?), and the cost (the two entrees, a Sprite, and a large margarita) was $69.63 out the door with gratuity. Hmmmm. No value there. As I said earlier, it really could have been better. A lot better. And just how did this venue get voted "Best in SLC" for a Mexican Restaurant? 2 Stars, and we're never coming back.

Hoof & Vine - The bread is good but the butter spread really elevates it into something great.

We come here periodically for celebrations and always look forward to returning. The atmosphere is…read moreromantic and consistent with fine dining. The service is always top notch, just as it was with Justin last night. I tried the bavette steak, which was juicy and full of flavor and I topped it with some garlic butter shrimp, which were also tasty. The tiburon salad was great, so were the side veggies and potatoes. My wife tried the elk, which was also delicious and didn't come off gamey as some venison does. We left full and loved every course of the meal.

I was blown away by my experience at Hoof & Vine. The food is consistently delicious, creative,…read moreflavorful, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. Every dish we've tried has been a hit, and the presentation is always on point. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a night out with friends or a special dinner. The staff is amazing, friendly, attentive, and genuinely makes you feel welcome. This place has quickly become one of my favorite spots, and I can't recommend it enough! The drinks were superb, the surf and turf is incredible and the funeral potatoes were out of this world!! I also have to mention the lobster Mac is worth the trip here alone, the crab cakes are perfection and the house made bread and spread are 10/10. I truly have no notes, this place just does it all right.
