Got seated quickly on a Friday afternoon. The matcha was a little dull but with some added sugar it was better. The spicy chicken sandwich was very good though. Love the sauce they put on it.

Love the food here! I've brought my friends and family here and they all loved it. Ambience is good, though service can be slow (even when it's not super busy).

Cute place with a nice interior and fairly large patio area. I ended up getting the breakfast sandwich (7/10, I wish it had a little more flavor) and my bf got the Eggs Benedict Florentine with smoked salmon (8/10). We also both got an iced caramel latte (they were out of vanilla) which tasted a little too superficial for my liking, but size-wise it was good bang for your buck! Service was 10/10, they let us move to a different table because it had AC blasting right on it, and our server was very attentive and so sweet! Cute place for brunch/lunch and a nice stroll through the neighboring book store.

This is actually one of my favorite cafe to go to when the weather is nice out. It's unbelievable how it's always busy! I've never been here when it wasn't a busy day. The salmon or eggs Benedict are usually my go to. The food and drink prices are some of the best in salt lake. What really is unfortunate is the service. I've never had good service at this restaurant. This last time 1/16 really takes the cake. My server didn't even really want to acknowledge me. Even once he did greet me his only words were a mumbled "are you ready to order"? He's an older bald gentlemen. The entire time I ate until I was ready to pay I did not interact with him. I had to get up and pay for my meal at the front desk. They couldn't find my ticket and only then did he place it down beside me. It really unfortunate but I will still come because I love the food.

We had so much fun dining out with friends tonight!! It's been way too long since I've been to Oasis!! I had the Dallas Alice Belgium Ale and my husband and the Green Tea Mule. The bread and butter for the table was delicious!! Nice and soft! We're all vegetarians and each got something different!! Nice variety!! I got soup and salad with their soup of the day and the field greens salad. My husband got the eggplant risotto. Our friends got the linguini and the udon noodles. Everything was delicious!! We didn't have room for dessert, but maybe next time!! Service was good and it was fun to sit outside enjoy the pleasant evening!

They have a beautiful patio in the summer. The metaphysical bookstore is always a treat to peruse while you wait though the wait is never terribly long. I wish they had more vegan and vegetarian options. I ordered the hash and they graciously subbed the eggs for tofu but it lacked seasoning and the potatoes weren't the freshest. I think just an off day though. The service here is always excellent.

We always enjoy breakfast at Oasis Café, and this visit was no exception! We started with a refreshing San Pellegrino and a V8, setting the tone for a great meal. I had the Lux Salmon Crustinis with a side of poached eggs, and everything was perfectly prepared. My other half went with the Oasis Omelette, and the potatoes were absolutely delicious--crispy and seasoned just right. The service was friendly and efficient, and even though there was a wait for breakfast, we had a reservation and were seated immediately. We've also been here for dinner, and everything we've tried has been consistently fantastic. If you're planning to visit, make a reservation--it's a popular spot for a reason! We'll definitely be back.

I love the bookstore, Golden Braid Books, attached to this cafe. The vibes here are really nice, it's very new-agey/hippy/crystal shop. The food selection here is good, big and small options, lots of gluten-free stuff, healthy options with upscale flavor combos. Real goat cheese and arugula type fare. There's also a great drink selection here, the beverage menu is longer than the food menu. There's an entire alcohol menu that even includes cocktails; my most recent discovery is the Dizzy Gillespe made with local kombucha and basil - so good! My one gripe that continually plagues Oasis brunch visits is the extremely slow service. Somehow my party always manages to get sat with a slow waiter, and we watch in frustration as tables sat after us are served food while we wait for our drink order to be taken. This definitely takes some stars out of it for me, if this didn't happen so frequently I think I'd eat here a lot more. Overall good and worth a try!

My friends and I came here for brunch and the food was absolutely delicious! The atmosphere was lovely and spacious. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio on a nice day. The reason I give it 4 stars is because the service was very slow and the coffee could have been much better. Other than that, the food is definitely worth coming back for.

    Grilled Cheese Sandwich & Soup

Have been here many times over the years. Oasis Cafe used to be a "go to" place for gluten free options. Now the Hollandaise sauce has flour in it. The grilled cheese sandwich was a sad, barely cooked, no butter, piece of inedible garbage. So disappointing

As a vegetarian, I wasn't a big fan of the food choices I picked. The interior and exterior were very cute, and the place was packed with people, so I assume they are popular for their non-vegetarian options. I ordered the pancake, a breakfast burrito, and the hummus platter. The pancake was pretty good -- very fluffy and a bit reminiscent of cornbread. The hummus platter was decent. The burrito, however, was the main reason for my three-star rating. It was watery, lacked flavor, and the texture was just soggy. I wasn't a fan of this dish at all. I'm also particular about water, and theirs did not taste good. It might have been the piping or just regular tap water, but it was unpleasant. Personally, I don't think I'll be coming back.

4.5 star for ambiance/vibe and service. But the food is quite average at best. Good place for meetups and catch-ups though.

This brunch spot is a classic staple in the area, especially for book lovers, as it's right next to a charming little bookstore! The location is easy to access with great parking options, either on the street or in a lot behind the building. It is always busy. I'd been here for dinner and lunch several times, but this was my first time trying their brunch, and it was fantastic. I ordered the breakfast sandwich with potatoes--the sandwich was delicious, with a fresh croissant that held up well with the egg, cheese, and bacon. The potatoes were a bit much in portion, but still good. We also tried the huevos rancheros, which was a hearty dish packed with flavor, and the German pancake, which surprised me--it was more like a cake with a blueberry topping rather than the traditional German style I expected, but it still tasted great. This place is a solid choice for brunch, with lots of options to suit any taste. Whether you're coming with a big group or just looking for a classic brunch option, I'd highly recommend stopping by!

On a Sunday morning at 11, there was no wait. I was surprised by this, but it looks like they may get busier in the afternoon. They don't take reservations, but you can get on the Yelp waitlist. The inside is cute with a decent amount of tables, and they have outdoor seating as well. Both the hostess and server were nice. For drinks, they have a variety of alcoholic and non alcoholic options. They don't have Diet Coke, so I went for a raspberry limeade. When in Rome ya know! I'm soooo glad I ended up getting this because it was delicious. The perfect combo of sour and sweet. Also, it has chunks of raspberry in it, which I loved. I prefer the actual fruit to a syrup, so I really enjoyed this. My friend got the honeydew cucumber mint limeade and let me try it. It was really good and refreshing!! My husband got a coffee and it was good. Both mine and my friends husband also enjoyed a mimosa!! For food, we started with the mini biscuits and hash bombs to start. Their biscuits, of course, are amazing. The jam that comes with them was great. The hash bombs were good but not my favorite. I didn't love the quinoa and wanted them to have cheese or something to make them a little more flavorful on their own. They were a great vessel for dipping in the really good limeade sauce that came with them. Everyone liked their main course. My breakfast tacos were delicious!! They came with chips and salsa. The salsa is a limeade and mint salsa. I didn't love it, but it was fun to try. My husband got the biscuit bar with gravy and said they were the best biscuits and gravy he's ever had. My friends got the hoss and garden hash and liked them both. This was a little bit of a weird experience cause halfway through our meal the server let us know that another patron at the restaurant had paid for everyone there. I had never had this happen before, and it was such a pleasant surprise! This place is a 5/5 regardless, but it was def an added bonus. I'm excited to come back and try something else cause the menu has so many standouts!!

I was super duper excited to give this place a try after reading my friends Tiff review and how she…read morerave about this cucumber mint limeade, and I just had to give it a try. This was definitely on my bookmark of places to try when visiting SLC, and it was a score that it was just 10-12 mins from my downtown suite. This was the first stop on my morning of return flight home. I ordered the Mother Butter Clucker $18. Pancakes, fried chicken, real maple syrup, egg, bacon, whipped butter. The chicken was crispy, but dry. I did request my pancakes to have crispy edges, and was told they can do so. My pancakes were pretty much burnt on the bottom half, making it difficult to cut and eat. They did remake the plate, but it was time for me to depart otherwise it was cutting into my boarding timeframe. I package this to go, and did not get to eat it; I tossed it at TSA. Bacon was good thick cut. The syrup was not warm as requested; it was cold. The cucumber limeade was okay, but it was much better once I left and discovered the sugar at the bottom of the rim like Mr. Columbus and gave that the best stir I could, and it became amazing! I also enjoyed my friend Raspberry limeade as well. He didn't care for it much, but I think I enjoyed his more so than mine. It could've been due to them actually stirring the sugar in that drink verse just placing the sugar at the bottom of my cup. Service was slow and friendly, I might give this place a redo whenever I return to SLC. (Because I didn't get to eat my food, I did eat the chicken and egg. I really wanted them pancakes though. )
