Check in was easy, the hostess found my Open Table reservation and sat us immediately. Tiny table, close to other tables but at the time it was just us so the only loudness came through the overhead speakers. Luckily my friend and I knew the genre and the music wasn't bad. Our server was kind, she took our order and checked on us at least twice during our dining experience. I ordered the Chicken and Waffles while my friend ordered the Breakfast Burrito. Now, what I'm about to say next is the most polite manner, considering that it wasnt an "average" 3-star worthy food experience. We were the first customers of the day. It wasn't busy yet. The kitchen didn't appear to be slammed with orders. So why were the waffles soggy at arrival? It was not fresh from a waffle iron. It was worse than a frozen microwaved substance. My order came with 3 chicken strips that appeared to be smaller than one thigh, unless it was a really skinny chicken. And that was $17! Sorry, the food is not Sunday's "Best" and I left their restaurant still hungry. Our server noticed that I didn't eat any of the waffles and asked if something was wrong or if I wanted a box to go. I politely said that the waffles were soggy and that I didn't want them. She graciously informed the kitchen and then discounted a portion of my order off the bill. I appreciate the gesture. I have been to this location 3x and each time it has gotten worse. I went for the Eras Drag Brunch and was 3rd in line for the event. We waited 30+ minutes in line. When the hostess sat us in the very corner where we could not see the majority of the room we asked if she could sit our party at a different table since we were one of the first to be seated. She refused. We asked if we could sit near the front of the section at least because we were there first and she very rudely told us we needed to sit in the assigned corner. It felt very unfair considering it was a ticketed event and we were there early to try and get good seats. We watched as the rest of the line came in was able to get prime seating and even be moved to locations they wanted. I'm so incredibly disappointed in the service I have received at this location over multiple experiences that I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone and I will not be returning. read more

Their food I am meh about I have had their biscuits and gravy and enjoyed those, their breakfast meal, and my last time the fried rice. I would have to say the rice was right up my alley had it not been so salty. I ended up taking it home to refry it and add a lot more rice to help distribute the salt. Their beignets are more biscuit texture than the typical beignets one thinks of. We were completely forgotten about at our table for 25 minutes. When our food finally arrived, it was shockingly bland--no seasoning on the eggs, hash browns, or potatoes. Everything tasted like the most basic, unseasoned food you could imagine. The waitress later apologized, saying she didn't realize the hostess had seated us, but then never returned to check on us again. By the time she offered any condiments or extras, our food was already cold. When it came time to pay, we placed both of our cards out on the table, but she repeatedly walked past us--choosing instead to chat with coworkers across the hall. We were ignored for so long that I eventually had to get up and pay at the front myself. I genuinely don't recommend this place to anyone. The service was terrible, the food was flavorless, and the entire experience took nearly two hours. You could find better food and service literally anywhere else.
