Everything about this place is great. The decor is very Palm Beach and whimsical. The service was on point. The food was great. I had the Trucker's breakfast with poached eggs, sausage, potatoes and toast (not your average white bread toast) with a homemade strawberry jam. We had to ask the people at the next table over what they were having and it was the huevos rancheros with a side of millionaire bacon. I'm going to have to try that next time. There is even outdoor dining but it was too hot yesterday for us to sit outside. They are open until 3 pm during the week and 4 pm on weekends. Give them a try. It was my first time here, came for brunch with the girls and it was great! Came in for our 2:30 reservation and got seated when we were all there. So here is the deal. You go here for the ambiance. The place is fun and exciting. It's decorated nice and is a perfect spot for brunch with friends. There is a live DJ which fits the vibe perfect. The food was good, not great but still yummy. I had Avocado Toast and it was on a large chunk of non toasted bread. The egg on top was more like an egg salad. They also asked if I wanted bacon on top which I said yes... fair warning it was $5 extra dollars and it was probably half a piece of bacon crumbled on it. Went here for a girls brunch. We made a reservation before hand and waited about 20 minutes until we got sat (we had 11 people). The server was super nice and checked on us frequently. Their music was really loud which made it so we had to raise our voices to hear each other over the music. The food was amazing. Between us all we got the crunchy monkey, the breakfast burrito and the Avocado toast. They were all delicious and big portions. They also have a cute spot to take a picture. First time here but definitely not the last. Pretty busy but it makes sense, it's high energy with friendly staff and amazing food. The toaster strudel was wonderful, fluffy and crispy, the filling was sweet and tart, lovely mix of flavor and texture. Huevos rancheros had deep and rich flavors, the sauce had so many layers to it which was unexpected. The pork was tender and cooked with care. The chefs must be proud! The slaw and arugula added nice crunch and freshness. The fried tortilla at the base held up well to the moisture until it was gone. Biscuits and gravy with fried chicken was literally the best I have had, ever and I've eaten a ton of this over my years. Every component was well thought out, the biscuit was amazing, gravy was perfectly seasoned, eggs were cooked to perfection and the roasted sage on top added cool a flavor. Shout out to Jo! We came here on a weekday around 10am, and were able to sit at the bar. The wait to sit at the table would have been a few more hours. The other time we had attempted to come was on a Sunday and the wait was 3 hours. So you definitely need a reservation if you are coming on a weekend . We ordered a lavendar chai latte, churro french toast, and eggs benedict to share. The food takes awhile to come out, so it was really nice to sit at the bar and observe the kitchen. The interior is super cute and reminds me of son & garden in sf / menlo park. This is a great place to come and dress up with friends. The churro french toast was really yummy!! They serve regular coffee for 5 dollar for unlimited refills but I also thought it was pricy for regular coffee. We also ordered beignets. -13 meh not my fave wouldn't order again. Mocha didn't come out until after my meal and I had to ask for it again which I was bummed because I wanted to drink it with my beignets. It's ok I got eggs Benedict and they were good but felt it was too rich for my taste. Nothing amazing or special, potatoes were fingerling potatoes boiled and maybe fried or roasted. I liked the smaller ones because they were crispy but the bigger ones where not good to me. I'll take a batch of the crispy ones -$13 My friend ordered huevos rancheros and mentioned she liked the freshness of the cabbage and radishes but also felt the meat was too heavy and did not end up eating it. Orange juice isn't fresh squeezed. FYI I don't know when they serve alcoholic drinks. Because someone next to me ordered Bloody Mary and then she mentioned in 15 minutes you can would you like to wait? so maybe 11am they serve them I don't know I did find it expensive in the end it's like 30 dollars a person. Eek So I think I need to give this place another try. But for now I'd give it 3 stars. It would be nice if they left some tables open for walk-ins. My friends and I came here for brunch on a Sunday at 11:30 and it was packed! Even with our reservation, we had to wait about 15 minutes. The vibe of this restaurant was adorable! California chic is the best way I can describe it. It's a different vibe than most places around Utah, and if you're from or have grown up visiting the trendier spots of Southern California, you'll feel right at home. Our waitress was sweet and clearly did the best she could, despite the packed house. Wait times were a little on the slower side from our arrival to the end of our meal, but nothing outrageous. I highly recommend securing a reservation if you plan on visiting for a Sunday brunch. The mocha comes either hot or iced. It was delicious! It's definitely on the stronger side, so if you like your mochas sweet, either request sugar packets or do what I did and scrape the chocolate syrup off the sides of the cup and mix it in with the coffee. I ordered my eggs benedict with an over-medium egg instead of the poached egg it normally comes with, and it was beyond tasty! The hash brown it came with was perfectly crisp and seasoned well, and once my waitress brought out those little metal cups filled with ketchup, my brunch was complete. My friend ordered the matcha latte and the coconut waffle and she absolutely loved both! She even ordered an avocado toast to go because she was so impressed with everything she ordered. The prices were fair for a trendy little brunch spot, and the food quality was outstanding.
