We have loved Legends for years! We used to visit at least twice a month for breakfast and have brought many friends and family members because we genuinely loved the food and experience. Today, we arrived and noticed the menu had changed. We ordered our usual Legendary Omelets--something we've ordered for years. Each omelet was priced at $16 with cheese and bacon, and we included several vegetables on each. When our bill arrived, we were shocked. One omelet was $25 and the other was $22. We asked our waitress how a $17 omelet had increased so much and were told that Legends is now charging $1 for each and every vegetable added to an omelet. While it was listed on the menu, we didn't realize each vegetable would be an additional charge. It should have been communicated that EVERY additional vegetable will be $1! Our total came to $51 before tip--for two omelets. We expected it to be around $35. We understand that restaurants have had to raise prices, and we don't mind paying more for quality food. What is disappointing is the feeling of being nickel-and-dimed over basic vegetable toppings that have always been part of how we've enjoyed our omelets. The vegetables added to an omelet are so minimal, I don't understand the change. Sadly, this pricing change means we'll no longer be returning. It's disappointing to lose one of our favorite breakfast spots over a pricing policy that just doesn't feel like a good value anymore. read more

I like this place. We go there often. But don't get the Verde Burrito. It is only $14 but not worth it. It is filled with mostly just rice and like 4 small pieces of chicken. The chili verde sause on top was OK and the salsa on the side was OK, but overall, this dish is horrible. I had to fill up on the fries from my wife's hamburger plate (great fries). When I placed my order she asked me if I wanted the salad instead of the steamed vegetables I said "Is it the same price?" She said "Yes". When I got my bill the steak was more than what the menu said. I didn't notice until I had already paid. I took a look at the menu again and yup it says $28 not $29.50. So did the price of the menu change and they haven't updated the menus....or did she charge me extra, but told me it was the same price? The food was ok. Have been to Legends a few times, but was pleasantly surprised by the food this time. We got the Reuben, Chicken Boobie, and Island Chicken Sandwich, and it was all very decent. The Reuben was a very good sandwich overall, the pastrami was savory and smoky and flavorful, so exactly what you want in a Reuben. The chicken in the chicken Boobie was decent and the pesto really flavorful, the veggies were meh, and the country potatoes were disappointing, it was described as being boiled than fried, but came out looking and tasting just boiled with no seasonings at all. Finally, the chicken sandwich was the star of the show, though the fried chicken wasnt exactly crunchy, it was perfectly tender and paired well with the ham, pineapple, and teriyaki sauce. I was pleased with the amount of lettuce, tomatoes, and red onions and thought it went together really nicely. The beer battered fries as a side was decent, there was some really crispy pieces that I enjoyed, but then half was kind of soft and mushy, if they tighten that up, it would be perfect. The service was fast, and they were nice enough to change the game for me, so I appreciated that. We will probably be back. read more

The country gravy is homemade. And not homemade and gluey, but very well prepared, creamy and seasoned. The mashed potatoes were delicious, the real deal. The vegetables were crisp-tender. Service was great. Our waitress kept our drinks topped. Food came out hot and fresh. Surprising since this place, like all others, is understaffed. This place is already known for good burgers, French dip, basic sandwiches, and pizza. But the entrées were a definite plus. I am going to be back soon in order to try more from this menu. Great local sports bar in the heart of hotel row! A full service bar with local beers and distilleries available. Had the pizzas for dinner, me the carnivore and my friend the spicy Hawaiian. Pizzas are a thin crust, 12 inches with plenty of toppings. The Hawaiian came with slices of fresh jalapeño which added the spice. The service seemed a little short handed. Our order came but took another 5 minutes to get a waitress to get us napkins, silverware, cheese, etc. The menu consisted of various entrees from salmon to tacos, salads and appetizers. Decided to head to Legends for Sunday football and beer and I'm so glad we did! The menu has options for everyone, beer selection is pretty good, and there are TONS of TVs. One half of the restaurant is for Steelers fans and the other TVs show all other games. I have to say I'm both impressed and appreciative that they have such balance with football viewing. Most bars that are exclusive to one team will only play that game. The staff was also very nice and attentive to their tables. As for the food...it was really good and the portions were quite large! Definitely worth the prices which are very reason reasonable. I had the breakfast burrito and it was truly amazing. Large portions of egg, bacon, ham, sausage and any veggies you want to add. I changed out the country potatoes for tater tots and the tots were super tasty! My husband had the Legendary Omelet which comes with basically whatever you want in it without all the extra charges for additional toppings. My hotel room was not ready yet so I walked over here for some lunch. The woman at the front desk of the hotel said it is "amazing". That may be a slight overstatement but not too far off. I just had some root beer that is local to Utah. Some of the best root beer I have ever had. Made me overlook that the food was just ok. The sliders are really good, but the hand cut French fries were soggy and not hot enough. The server was super friendly and didn't rush me while I linger waiting for my room to be ready. The ambience is typical sports bar so nothing special there, but I like that the screens are large and facing all directions so if you are interested in that you can see it no matter where you are sitting. read more

As far as sports bars goes, Legends is pretty solid-it's got good food, good service and lots of large TV screens to watch whatever game, match, fight or tournament you're after. And a bonus-they have seating that is available to the under 21 crowd-so you can bring your family if you'd like. All the burgers are served with two patties-which is more than enough for me. So I put one aside and take it home for later. The fries are very good-they have a tasty seasoning on them that makes them a little different than other places. The chips and salsa are also a nice choice. The salsa is slightly sweet-again, different than the usual fare. I have not been here during a high demand event, so I'm not sure how it is with crowds. But it seems like it would accommodate large groups rather well. Maybe the next time my wife wants to drag me to see a UFC fight, we will check it out here. read more
