I've been here three times in the last 10 months. The first time was fantastic, the second time was meh, and the third time was good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is rated as a restaurant with a full bar, not a bar that sells food. So you can bring the whole family.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Mind you, kids can't sit near the bar, (which is right in the middle of the restaurant) you have to be 21 to do that.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I didn't get a warm welcome when I walked in the door and the waitress wasn't very friendly. However after I ordered, she kept checking in on me, a little too much. When the waitress came over to take my order I asked if they had fresh coffee she said "No" we only make it once in the morning. So there isn't any coffee? What? How bizarre is that policy? When I placed my order she asked me if I wanted the salad instead of the steamed vegetables I said "Is it the same price?" She said "Yes". When I got my bill the steak was more than what the menu said. I didn't notice until I had already paid. I took a look at the menu again and yup it says $28 not $29.50. So did the price of the menu change and they haven't updated the menus....or did she charge me extra, but told me it was the same price? The food was ok. Steak was pretty good with added mushrooms, potatoes were cold with hard chunks of potatoes and the roll was kinda hard with melted butter.

Was pleasantly surprised by my last visit at Legends. Service was great and the restaurant itself was busy. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant seemed to be running very well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Great draft beer menu. Looks like they updated the menu but the options seem to be same as they were on my last visit.

If you're in the area this place is a must try! The food, service and drinks are All amazing! We will definitely be going back! [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's very specious inside so good for big groups and kid friendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Island Chicken Sandwich

Have been to Legends a few times, but was pleasantly surprised by the food this time. We got the Reuben, Chicken Boobie, and Island Chicken Sandwich, and it was all very decent. The Reuben was a very good sandwich overall, the pastrami was savory and smoky and flavorful, so exactly what you want in a Reuben. The chicken in the chicken Boobie was decent and the pesto really flavorful, the veggies were meh, and the country potatoes were disappointing, it was described as being boiled than fried, but came out looking and tasting just boiled with no seasonings at all. Finally, the chicken sandwich was the star of the show, though the fried chicken wasnt exactly crunchy, it was perfectly tender and paired well with the ham, pineapple, and teriyaki sauce. I was pleased with the amount of lettuce, tomatoes, and red onions and thought it went together really nicely. The beer battered fries as a side was decent, there was some really crispy pieces that I enjoyed, but then half was kind of soft and mushy, if they tighten that up, it would be perfect. The service was fast, and they were nice enough to change the game for me, so I appreciated that. We will probably be back.

2 bite street tacos, lettuce wrapped

The menu here is very large. There were so many things in there that I want to try. I will have to come back several times to try it all. We got wings, street tacos but lettuce wrapped, a spicy chicken sandwich, and a calzone. All were yummy. I also got some scones stuffed with ovarian crème with a side of caramel sauce. So good!

Homemade mozzarella sticks w/ habanero jelly, marinara sauce, and ranch

Service and food was amazing!!! Koda was our server and he was absolutely amazing. He matched our vibe so well and had us laughing our asses off. He recommended the mozzarella sticks and the fried pickles and it did not disappoint. The habanero jelly was amazing with the mozzarella sticks. The fried pickles hit the spot. The burger was great as well.

    Chicken-fried steak with garlic roll

Great, homey food. I don't like sports bars but this one has an atmosphere where you can just read or chat and ignore the screens. I'm a big fan of the garlic rolls and the mozzarella sticks! Make sure you try the pepper jelly with your sticks. You won't regret it.

    Chicken Fried Steak

This place surprise me. Really surprised me. I was expecting basic sports bar food. And when you look at the menu that's pretty much what this is. But order the chicken fried steak. The country gravy is homemade. And not homemade and gluey, but very well prepared, creamy and seasoned. The mashed potatoes were delicious, the real deal. The vegetables were crisp-tender. Service was great. Our waitress kept our drinks topped. Food came out hot and fresh. Surprising since this place, like all others, is understaffed. This place is already known for good burgers, French dip, basic sandwiches, and pizza. But the entrées were a definite plus. I am going to be back soon in order to try more from this menu. Sports bars are not my thing, I really don't care about the TV screens in the atmosphere. But for the service and food, yes I'll come back.

This used to be an Iggy's and they didn't bother taking down any of the old decor or even the fans. Service was great, prices aren't bad at all for what you get. Went with the special burrito which was quite large. Chips and salsa were good and so where the small street tacos. For sure will be back!

It's gotten so bad, we thought they changed hands. When manager Joey McDowel called, I told him we already decided not to return after being almost weekly customers for over a year. Food & service changed & are no longer good. He ignored me & said since we got 2 different pepperoni pizzas that were both missing pepperoni, they couldn't make us happy & we shouldn't bother going back! I had already made it clear that after our last visit, we had no intention of going back, so there was no need for his call, but he continued by threatening me with trespass if we ever go there again! WHO THE HELL TRAINED THIS INFANTILE BABY? He must be a relative, or he'd never have this job. He is not suited & too big for his tiny little britches. My husband is furious, he's going to corporate & the owners, he couldn't believe what he heard. We're in our 70's, our son is a classically trained chef who liked the pizza here until it wasn't good, my family owned bars & restaurants for years & my husband & I have eaten our way around the world twice but have never been insulted over a pizza. We know Skackwater puts pepperoni under the cheese, it's not rocket science or anything new, but when there is ZERO pepperoni, there is ZERO pepperoni. That's not our fault; it's the fault of Slackwater & managers like Joey who only make things worse. He has 0 people skills & his threatening demeanor is concerning. He was there for the 4-hour episode, where like criminals trying to prove our innocence, we had to rip off hunks of dough & hold them up to prove pizza #1 had only sauce, no cheese, then scrap the cheese off pizza #2 to prove there was no pepperoni underneath & that was after waiting almost 2 hours for them to arrive! After that Joey offered to comp the pizzas & admitted they were having problems in the kitchen. We declined remakes because my husband was waiting at home for his dinner, we were exhausted & just wanted to go. Joey forgot to put in the to-go pizza & we waited another hour for that! No comps, but we paid & left. The to-go pizza looked like a burnt hockey puck. I called & got yet ANOTHER manager who said she'd put a gift card at the front desk that would cover our food, alcohol & something extra for the time we spent, it should have been over $100. We waited 6 weeks & went back, but no gift card. Joey stupidly let it slip that they make so many gift cards for people who never come back that they throw them away every few weeks. That said it all for me! At our revisit, we spent over an hour being interrogated by another manager, she came back 3 times asking for details. We had no time to talk, eat or relax, at one point I told her to forget the gift card, it wasn't worth the hassle. I had spent time pulling up dates, texts & pictures for her & after 2 hours she disappeared & only left us a $50 gift card, 1/2 of what we spent! Bad business. I wasn't going to fight with these people; they make lame excuses & do what they want, so we paid & left. They have no idea how to run a restaurant & apparently don't know what repeat business is worth, which is sad, because people won't keep paying for poor service & bad food. Eventually the Herriman franchise will either change hands or go under. The final straw came Saturday. Against my better judgement after being called by family members who were driving through UT & wanted to make a fast stop at our house for dinner, I called Slackwater to order pizza so they could eat & get quickly back on the road. We ordered 1 cheese, 1 Ironhorse & 1 pepperoni with extra cheese, we got other stuff, but this is about pizza. I got an Ironhorse & 2 PLAIN CHEESE pizzas! All 3 were small & burnt. When I called, I was told to look under the cheese! OMG, we get that Slackwater puts pepperoni under the cheese, we ate there almost every week for a year & told them we had done a full search of the pizza before we called, but there was ZERO pepperoni! We didn't have time to wait for another pizza, so I declined a remake. A manager got on & offered to take the pizzas off our bill. I still don't see the credit & probably never will. Joey never said let me speak to the kitchen, sorry for the 3-hour wait, sometimes when things get busy a topping or an entire order gets forgotten or even, I'm sure things will be better if you try again. NO, Joey chose instead to threaten me, so I wouldn't go there again if Joey paid me to go. There are too many places to dine in this area where we enjoy the food & service. Slackwater is closer, but we'd rather travel than come in contact with a man so unstable he thinks it's best to threaten senior citizens, than make things right when he's the one who made the mistake. After his remarks, we don't feel safe going there. If he gets fired, the kitchen & service will most likely return to normal.

Today, we arrived and noticed the menu had changed. We ordered our usual Legendary Omelets--something we've ordered for years. Each omelet was priced at $16 with cheese and bacon, and we included several vegetables on each. When our bill arrived, we were shocked. One omelet was $25 and the other was $22. We asked our waitress how a $17 omelet had increased so much and were told that Legends is now charging $1 for each and every vegetable added to an omelet. While it was listed on the menu, we didn't realize each vegetable would be an additional charge. It should have been communicated that EVERY additional vegetable will be $1! Our total came to $51 before tip--for two omelets. We expected it to be around $35. We understand that restaurants have had to raise prices, and we don't mind paying more for quality food. What is disappointing is the feeling of being nickel-and-dimed over basic vegetable toppings that have always been part of how we've enjoyed our omelets. The vegetables added to an omelet are so minimal, I don't understand the change. Sadly, this pricing change means we'll no longer be returning. It's disappointing to lose one of our favorite breakfast spots over a pricing policy that just doesn't feel like a good value anymore.

So, it's a good spot if you're looking for something that everyone will enjoy. Their pizzas are popular and very reasonably priced.
