Sports bar has several TVs with one large screen with projector. Looks clean. Need one more server on a night that would be busy due to game that was playing. Mgmt should know this for being a "sports" bar. The wait was a little long before service. Once service got to us, it did get better. The food tasted alright, I've had better. But they do not give much slices of steak for the Philly cheese steak. Neither did it have much of other things like peppers onions or cheese. And the price is high. Seriously, DO NOT buy the Philly! It was basically a rip off! My buddy got the burger and it was supposed to have bbq sauce. It came without any sauce. After informing that there was no sauce, still didn't bring any sauce. This was my second option as I failed at trying to get dinner in the DTSLC area. The place I wanted to go to closed their doors before their posted 9pm close. Ugh. I didnt feel like researching more dinner options so I took the path of least resistance and ended up here as its close to the hotel I am staying at Nothing was really remarkable about this place. Service was slow but waitress was friendly and did get my beverage and food out. I waited awhile after I finished my beer to get my check. I also saw a pitcher of green beer go to another table so you know its that time of the year. The place doesn't have mushrooms so my quesadilla was stuffed with green peppers and onions. I prefer mushrooms but seems a lot of places don't carry mushroom anymore. Overall, an underwhelming experience. I wouldn't go out of the way to come here but if back in town and staying at same hotel, I might come back. Prices are pretty cheap, so can't complain that much. read more

Well this is 4th time in 4 years I've been here and this was a complete disappointment. 3rd time I went there was also a 1 star because we waited 20 min for service at our table and walked out. This time our waitress Gabby never came and got us refills on our drinks. My buddy had to walk up to the bar to get his refill. Ordered ranch and never got it. Her personality was rude and stand offish... it also appeared she was talking trash about us with her co-worker at the bar. On a four day stay at the hotel which is walking distance from the bar, I craved some onion rings. So I walked over and ordered onion rings, fries and a house salad. All were super delish. I enjoyed it all. Excellent service from the bartenders. Reasonable prices. And packed on bingo night. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. They have a bouncer that cards you. It's been a minute since I saw one of those. Place looked clean and it was bouncing. Lots of TVs too. Although I didn't dare ask to switch the channel to one of my hometown sports teams. Lol. Came here Saturday luckily we had a reservation and were seated right away. It was extremely packed due to the fights so I'm glad they did reservations! Service on the other hand was rough. It took forever for our server to come as well as she kept forgetting things and would come check on us and then hurry and try to leave and not return back either things we asked for. I'm assuming she just had more tables than normal since it was busy from the UFC fights. Food was good! We got loaded tater tots and they were delicious. Tots were crispy yet loaded with cheese, bacon and ranch! I'm glad that they did not get soggy! Food and drinks were a good price! This place seemed very mellow and a good spot to get drinks and good food! Once the fights were over they played music and their playlist was great! I lived here my whole life and even if it is the law, it hasn't been enforced at this place before because we went last month and several other times. We were never asked. So we left as did 2 other groups of obviously older men and women who frequent the joint and have never needed their ID either, until today. We won't be back. If the hostess had admitted that it's something they enforced just recently I would have come back, but to be told I should know the law while she whispers sorry the owner is here. WOW. We came here for the Utes game and happened to stay for the jazz game too! It was pretty busy, but our server was still very attentive. Their ultimate Bloody Marys are delicious. The bigger the better. The more food you put in my drink, the happier I get! There was a grilled shrimp, a few onion rings, lemon wedges, a pizza egg roll, and fried jalapeños. It's also only $13.50! Gotta order this when you're here. Spicy sausage "crack" dip is HELLA good! They call it crack for a reason! So addicting that I almost ordered a second one! You get pita chips and tortilla chips as a vessel. I personally like the pita bread better. We also ordered the buffalo chicken wings and they're good, but you can get these anywhere. The close by everything sprts bar was just what we needed after a long drive. Great food, fast service and frosty adult beverages. The restaurant was only 50% full, and yet it was really kinda loud! So, if loud is a deal breaker, you might consider another place. (Owners might consider sound dampening devices to help) However we were staying in the hotel across the street, so this place had the trifecta of needs: food, beer, bed. Will we be back?? We had a great first time experience here @ Mid City. My hubby had a long night at work and needed a beer. Wanting to go somewhere closer to home, my husband suggested this place. I'm so glad he did! The music was so much fun! Not to mention they have so many TVs of good size and an uber huge one in the back! Okay, but what we all came here for, the foooooood. Mmmkay tho, so good. Like I wanna go back so soon. We shared the chicken tenders, now I would not usually order this. Generally chicken tenders are all the same shit. Not to say they won't be good - but if you have them one place, you've had them another. Let me say this - these may be the best god damn chicken tenders I have ever had. THAT GOOD. The batter has a little zip to it and the chicken is really tender. So, I'm a total sl, ut for sauces and they got em. We samples the Chipotle Tequila, Buffalo and Honey Mustard and YES YES YES to all of them. The fries were also heavenly. I'm a sucker for the way these fries are battered and fried, and we all know that all fries are NOT made the same. These are a win. I would love to try the parm fries, hoping to make this place our new bar and make some new memories. Please, please visit your bars and restaurants right now. I know a lot of people are struggling. The bartender suggested truffle fries and a Squatters fruity IPA to go with the burger. So with all those suggestions i ordered. The IOA had a nice crisp taste with a hint of fruit. It was nice to be more of a fruity flavor than a virus flavor. The truffle fries were not to bad and did compliment the burger well. The burger was more well done than medium but it was ok. We came here to watch the UFC fights on a Saturday night. The service was relatively fast and our server was very nice and attentive. They have a very big selection of bar/fried food, and also burgers and sandwiches. The drinks need improvement, i would not consider them "top shelf" or hand crafted drinks. I do have to say the chicken tenders are to die for, they were so good i didn't get a chance to take a picture and i ordered them with loaded fries for an up charge. Stayed at the Tru hotel next to Top Golf, and it was nice to walk over to the pub for a drink and a bite. My drinks were great - but - it's Utah - they did what they can, but the crazy rules in Utah to keep me from being an adult with the ability to monitor my own intake irritates me - not the pubs fault - but ... anyway - I digress... My food was ok - I ordered the prawns - asked to have them grilled instead of breaded and was so glad I did. I splurged on the onion rings - and they came out loaded with so much oil I had to dab them with a napkin. I was disappointed. Service was great and friendly. I went back another night - and it was comedy night. I'm sorry - but with all the hard surfaces in the place - it was TOO LOUD - the comedians thought they were funnier if they yelled. Made it actually quite unpleasant. We were very happy when the set was over and we could enjoy our cocktails in peace. To preface I eat out about 10-15 times a week across the country due to my job being primarily traveling, and I have never experienced a worse time than here. I ordered the street tacos which came out cold (understandable mistake) I politely asked the waitress (Isabella) if they are supposed to be cold to which she replied "I don't know I've worked here 5 days and dont really care if you want them warmed up you should've started with that" .... I don't understand why you would think it's okay to treat someone in such a disrespectful manner off the bat when they were polite to you. I will never be back here, I would rather starve than set foot in this place again. After my tacos were (reheated) they still came out with a warm plate and unmelted cheese(pictured). I did not finish my plate and was more than disappointed. I would give them 0 stars if I could. Stay away at all costs. My wife and I visited this place on an early Sunday afternoon for lunch and were very pleasantly surprised. This place is seriously cool with theater-style seating for their big-sceeen, a large patio area, and plenty of other televisions for your viewing pleasure. I ordered the brunch burger (available off their brunch menu only) and it was very delicious. Ghost pepper cheese with Canadian bacon and a fried egg over a large patty! MmmMmm! Fulfilled both my breakfast and lunch craving! I did order it with their original fries instead of the home style fries, and I loved those too! Battered, crispy, delicious fries! They also have a pretty decent beer/cocktail selection. One note: don't sit next to the patio door unless you're okay with smelling cigarette smoke. Since his passing it's definitely went downhill. I came here with a group of multiracial people was was immediately told I was too drunk to be served, then told I was 86 while walking out. My friend was hyping about this place; specifically the fries and they weren't bad. Please note that I am not a fan of potatoes in any form. Baked, scalloped, mashed, chips and etc- I'm just not a fan of potatoes but I tried a fry here and it wasn't horrible. Would I order fries here? No. Would anyone else who feels no disdain towards fries order the fries here? Yes. Absolutely. The fry sauce here is similar to what you'd find at Crown Burger but with a slight spice kick. I would order the wings again- the sauce wasn't overpowering and has the perfect consistency. For most people, they want their wings coated with an Unnecessary amount of sauce to the point where you can't taste anything else but I want to be able to taste actual meat in its quality and it's produced well here. I'm tempted to give them 4 stars but to base my review strictly on the wings and not giving the rest of the menu a chance would be unfair. The wings alone are good and I would like to try a few more menu items before solidifying my review. There is so much potential here and I look forward to coming back. read more

Be careful here. They keyed in my tip amount (glad I took a picture) incorrectly. When I called to seek resolution they basically told me the could send me a check for the difference or I could file a dispute with my credit card company. It was a small amount, but super shady. I was trying to be super understanding that people make mistakes, and the first manager I spoke with was trying to be helpful. The lady manager that took over was extremely rude and unfriendly.
