My new favorite spot! Good bourbon, good pool tables, the place is packed. The burger though! So juicy and full of flavor. $10 with a side. Great music great staff. Rustic with very cool art adorning the walls. The men's room is clean. It's Wednesday, bingo night and the place is packed! I like this place! Update! They have Blanton's bourbon here! Hard to find!

Great local dive bar in the Sandy/Midvale area! Service is super friendly, drink are tasty and affordable, and food is delicious. They have a lot of fun events and game nights like Bingo, live music, open jam, karaoke, shuffleboard, Billiards and darts. I would definitely recommend!

    Bingo!!!

This is my favorite bar to take friends/family too when they visit! Loads of parking in the back. The decor and ambiance is fun! Johnny Cash inspired but also they use barrels as tables. So cool! Haven't used the patio yet but always see people out there. Beer selection is great & the food is amazing!!!! They make their own chips!! The Hellgate is my fav spicy burger in town so far!!! All week they have special events from karaoke to bingo to beer pong to poker to live music! They had a great song selection for karaoke and bingo was so fun!!! Lots of prizes and winners! I have also always had great service! The waitresses are constantly checking in! I have been to the other Sue's but this one is more open, feels less crowded, & parking is wayyyy easier!

I wanted to update my review on this place. I gave it another shot and came here again and they experience was much better than previously. The current bartenders are very caring and quick. They have live bands on the weekend as well, which can make for a fun time. Did not seem hostile or full of drunk people. It was a nice bar to spend some time in. The drinks are also reasonably priced. The bathrooms were a lot cleaner than previous.

Dry wings. They were all drums.

Service and staff were great. So we're the Philly fries. However, our Hot Cluckin Sammy and Wings were dry, bland, and not tasty. There were no flats at all, only drums. Wings were overcooked and with very little sauce. The sandwich was bland and dry, hardly edible. Ambiance was fine, but we won't be back due to the lack of good bar food that we came here for.

The Sue Rickey was so good I drank it before I could take a pic oops

I loved this bar and am sad it lives so far away. Apt, I suppose, as one of my best friends also lives here. She is what brought me to Utah the first time, but since, I have had plenty of reasons to keep coming back. My friend and I had a magical time here recently. I'm a big fan of bars, especially divey ones, but rarely have I experienced something like this. It is rare that someone buys the entire bar a round of shots. It's happened maybe a couple times in all my years of bar hopping. It happened multiple times in a row here. We stopped counting at the third round. That was a first for me. They just kept coming. I don't know if someone lost a bet on the NBA Finals or was just in an exceptional mood, but they kept on buying everyone shots. Even though drinks are weaker in Utah, they were still adding up, so we had to make the smart decision to decline past shot #2 and leave. We were intrigued by the name and that's one of the reasons I wanted to check this place out, I can't lie. It did fit the theme too, with cool art pieces of the Man in Black throughout. I would not call it a dive by California standards. Too clean and well put together. They checked our IDs at the door and seated us in the middle of the bar, which was spacious, covered in posters and TVs. There were also various games available, like pool, ping pong, darts, and shuffleboard (all for free too....we don't have all this free stuff in California!). Our waitress was one of the most beautiful people, inside and out, that I've ever met in my life and I probably wouldn't have complained about this place even if it sucked, all because of her. I think she was a fairy or nymph or something, straight out of the storybooks. Our food was really good too. I wasn't a vegetarian yet on this trip, so I had an All American cheeseburger 'n fries, both of which came out quickly and were hot and fresh. We also ordered a boneless buffalo wang basket, which was so much food and tasty, too. I think I ordered mac n' cheese, but it was forgotten. We had more than enough food already and were having an amazing time. I also was not charged for it, so who cares? The drinks were also yummy! I don't know if it is The Law that drinkies are weaker in Utah, or if it's just what they do here, but I would keep that in mind if you're visiting. It's not a terrible thing. Some people think you can't even drink in Utah. You can. You just have to know where to go. I ordered a couple fruity drink specials. One I can't remember, but the other was the Sue Rickey (I kept calling it a Branch Rickey oops), a tangy, tart grape vodka and lime concoction. Then of course there were the bonus shots. I can't recall what one of them was, but the other was something called a Sassypants, which tasted of berries and probably vodka. Everything was fantastic and we had a really nice time. This place was friendly, and queer friendly too. It was during Pride weekend, so maybe more of us were in here than usual, but I got good vibes all around. I can't wait to return! Free All Day Every Day: pool, ping pong, darts, shuffleboard, what more could you want? Parking: Lot Bathroom Report: Clean Vegan Corner: I hadn't yet seen the light when I was here so I didn't pay much attention to what if anything was vegan. They do have salads.

I must say that I have not tried any of this place's food yet. Just turns out the times I've been here we weren't hungry. I don't expect much from it though - probably nothing special or particularly bad either. I give this 4 stars excluding that consideration. I would give it 5 stars if they had a larger beer selection - but they do have good options. Also let's call a spade a spade... Bad Named Sue is not trying to be your local swanky cocktail bar. We also don't have many options on this side of Town. This place is a phenomenal sports bar with plenty of screens. There is a patio if your interested in sitting outside. They have dart board and shuffle board. They also have FREE BILLARDS!! I felt they kept the place very tidy too, you do not get the feeling of it being "run down" in there. Also this is a really fun spot to be at pre & post RSL games. Definitely my top pick for places on this side of town.

This a great local spot in Murray to enjoy a evening out . They have great bartenders and service -we've had Lisa take care of us twice already and she's becoming our go-to . They have pool, darts that are free to use . Fridays they have live music and that band is awesome! Went last night for UFC -$5 cover , $11 pitchers and bomb Cheesy Sticks made w pepper jack and live music following the last bout. Every day has different themes like karaoke, trivia night , cards so something for everyone . The decor gives several knods to Johnny Cash but also several other bands , artists and a neon sign that people love for taking pics . Great place for a fun night out !

Good food, great atmosphere and super great service from Katlyn. She is funny, and has a great hint of sarcasm. She does a great job of service to guests. We had a great time eating, drinking cold beer and playing pool. I won 5 out of 8. lol. Will definitely be back next time in town. Go in and have a good time, good music playing good food, service and cold beer.

Everything about food is non-negotiable, service is exceptional and Ambiance is just like home... just come around.. when you feel like, enjoy Independence Day everyday OR every night..!

Onion rings are fantastic and I loved the drink "A Girl Named Sue" - it's a girly drink, but I loved it!

My family stayed down the street at the HGI in Sandy for 5 nights for my son's soccer tournament and we visited Slackwater 3 times. Pro tip: join the waitlist on Yelp! Even during the week, the wait was 30+ mins each time. Food was great. We tried a lot of different pizzas - we got the Chicken Bro-Do, Hot Honey DP, Tikka Masala, Taco Camarones and Margherita. The airy artisan crust is the same on all pizzas and is delicious. I would recommend them all outside of the Camarones which felt a bit underwhelming as there was very little shrimp and flavor was flat. The Citrus Morita dry rub wings are incredible. We ordered these every night. The Morita chile sauce I would throw on everything. Super fresh and flavorful. It had the right amount of heat . The breadsticks are really good. Same bread that they use for the pizza and stuffed with a ton of cheese. Marinara sauce that comes with it is top notch. The Diablo sticks are spicy just to be spicy. The sauce isn't good. We switched to regular marinara. Would recommend staying away from these. Service is great. Everyone is very attentive. The staff definitely give off a chill energy but are focused, alert and friendly. This place is a must if you're in the area. Hope we can make it back someday.

My one complaint is that we made our reservation for 6:15, but at 5:55, I received a text that my table was ready and would only be held for 10 minutes. That means our table would be given away if we didn't arrive 10 minutes BEFORE our reservation time. The pizza is fantastic. Which I kept saying to my party through bites of pizza. It is the crust that makes this pizza. It is a little sweet but not in a dessert way. It has the perfect chewy bite. I was impressed. I never eat pizza crust, not ever, but it was good enough that my dogs didn't get their usual crust treat. We tried 4 different pizzas and I would recommend any of them.

Today, we arrived and noticed the menu had changed. We ordered our usual Legendary Omelets--something we've ordered for years. Each omelet was priced at $16 with cheese and bacon, and we included several vegetables on each. When our bill arrived, we were shocked. One omelet was $25 and the other was $22. We asked our waitress how a $17 omelet had increased so much and were told that Legends is now charging $1 for each and every vegetable added to an omelet. While it was listed on the menu, we didn't realize each vegetable would be an additional charge. It should have been communicated that EVERY additional vegetable will be $1! Our total came to $51 before tip--for two omelets. We expected it to be around $35. We understand that restaurants have had to raise prices, and we don't mind paying more for quality food. What is disappointing is the feeling of being nickel-and-dimed over basic vegetable toppings that have always been part of how we've enjoyed our omelets. The vegetables added to an omelet are so minimal, I don't understand the change. Sadly, this pricing change means we'll no longer be returning. It's disappointing to lose one of our favorite breakfast spots over a pricing policy that just doesn't feel like a good value anymore.

Luckily there were no pine nuts or other substitutes and we could safely have it!
