This place was great, I can't wait to come back and enjoy the patio in the summertime! It's located right inside Uinta Brewery. We tried the mango lime pilsner, very good, I'd never tried the mango version and liked it! We started with the garlic Parmesan cheese curds and they were SO good! They came with a red pepper jelly that was so yummy. I got the black bean burger with fries and my friends got the salt and vinegar chips. All the food hit the spot, loved it all and no notes! The food was great we started with the cheese curds which were delicious though I would have preferred the sauce on the side as I think it made the crispy cheese curds less crispy. Next we had the white bbq wings. They were served with a creamy almost Caesar salad dressing sauce. They were good. We had the salmon salad. It was also good. We got a toffee sticky pudding to go and it was to die for. I was a bit confused by the graham crackers in top. They seemed like a a second thought and unnecessary as they were presented. Nomad Eatery is inside Uintah Brewery, which is a bar, and is their food arm of the establishment. This review is just for the food not the bar. We met some friends here for dinner prior to going out for some entertainment. You order at the bar and they give you a number so that they can bring your food to you. Then they suggest a 20% tip. Not sure why I paid 20% with no server. However the cashier was very friendly and they did check up on us to insure the food was good. The menu is a little limited, but everything we had was good. I ordered the wedge salad which was excellent with lots of toppings including onion straws. Very good. 5/5 Wings with Korean bbq sauce. The wings were cooked to perfection, well done, a little crispy, but still delicious and full of flavor. The Korean sauce was good but no kick at all. 5/5 My wife ordered the Turkey, Bacon sandwich that was highly recommended by the cashier. It was good but not as good as they raved about. 4/5. Newest Nomad fan. I visited Nomad Eatery with my mom earlier this week. We both have been wanting to try it and we finally found time when we could go. The ambience reminds me of what you would expect at a ski lodge. Super friendly people and a casual environment. The music was also what you would expect at a ski lodge, which is something I really like. I ordered the Smoked Turkey Sandwich with BBQ chips. The chips are made in-house and they are crazy good. Ate there with a friend at the community table outside, clean, welcoming, great service. We had the salmon salad and the mushroom pizza. Both were delicious and beautiful to see. Nomad eatery inside uintah brewing company is spacious and airy inside. Food is good. We tried their Parmesan red pepper jelly cheese curds, fish and chips and a turkey club. They have an interesting yet fantastic spin on these items. Washed it down with a uintah clear daze ipa and a uintah mule. Today I met my friend and her family at Nomad for lunch. We chose Nomad because the restaurant met her nutritional needs as a clean eater and her young children (2 and 4) could eat as well. Though there wasn't a kids menu they both loved the pizza and fries. Even she, the clean eater, had to taste these delicious, crispy fries. I myself, LOVE beets and Nomad made the introduction of beets to her and her children SO easy as they were so good! The chicken sandwich was pretty spicy even for her husband who loves spicy foods, but he ate the whole thing. Located just minutes from the SLC airport, this somewhat hidden gem serves up some unexpectedly tasty dishes. I've been here twice now. From what I've tasted, the chicken sandwich is my favorite (that's why it's the most popular item, right?) The chicken is so tender and the batter is fried perfectly with the right amount of graininess. The only thing lacking would be more hot sauce and condiments. But overall, I like it more than Pretty Bird. Nomad's sandwich is more savory whereas Pretty Bird's is sweeter and tangier. A close second is the pizza. I had the Margherita and it was absolutely wonderful. I loved the flavors of the fresh ingredients accompanied by the crispy crust. There are also some oils and balsamic vinaigrette by the utensils that would go well with them too. I've also had a few other bites that I enjoyed. The white citrus BBQ wings are glorious. It doesn't feel heavy but it's packed with flavors that leaves you wanting more. I might just go during lunch and order a big plate of those. The fries are also great - some of the best fries around. I've sampled the salmon salad as well, and the combination of the ingredients with the thousand island dressing makes for a filling yet light meal. Takeaway? Huge fan of this place! I came here tonight for the first time and it was everything I hoped it would be. Right when we walked in I loved the atmosphere and it smelled amazing. I couldn't wait to eat! The pizzas were delicious, fresh, and packed with flavor (I tried both the Margherita and Betty White)! You'll pay a little over $10 for a pizza, but they're a decent size! You can definitely leave with leftovers and get two meals out of it, which is a big plus for me. Also, they're so good that it's easily worth the money to me. The location is a little weird (out kind of by the airport), but it's worth heading out that way and isn't too far if you're in downtown slc already! I just wish I lived closer so I could come more often. Definitely recommend Nomad! read more

Almost 8 months went by when I came here with my old co-worker. We were so excited to try this place out after seeing the online reviews and it really bombed. Fast forward until yesterday and the experience was 100% the opposite, food was so fresh and fantastic. Flavor all worked together, for a non sit down and order type of restaurant there was someone that always came by to check on us. Loved the pickled roasted beats, smoked turkey sandwich, the fish tacos with that awesome slaw, the wedge salad had individual pieces of lettuce rather than an actual ice berg portion. The smoked blue cheese was so flavorful! We also ordered the 4 piece wings that were half buffalo and the other was a citrus Parmesan (thinking) it isn't on the online menu. Loved the creamy white citrus the best. Even dipped my fries into it. Judging by the reviews we must have came on a bad day last year. Food is always amazing! I love the fish n chips and my wife is getting the nachos. They should have a Mexican entree on the menu otherwise it's fantastic. Wow, this place definitely wasn't what I was expecting when I saw the address. Nomad Eatery is a surprisingly trendy and upscale feeling restaurant, with a reasonably priced menu and bar. The ambiance is very appealing with it's warm mood lighting, clean setting, and well thought out furniture and decor. There is plenty of parking in their lot, and they aren't in a busy part of town so street parking is also easy. The menu is simple, but well done. I loved their handover pizza, and tried some fish taco which was also quite good. The service was excellent, and there was little to no wait time. If you're looking for someplace new that isn't in a typical restaurant part of town, this spot is absolutely worth visiting. Be sure to ask about the Choco Taco too, they're sourced from Normal Ice Cream which is a local favorite. read more
