    Irish tater tots
    Connie Hales R.

I'm so glad to finally have a Pub & Grill in Draper that's worth going to. We always go on Tuesday nights to play Bingo with Kali the Bingo caller, Mike as the Bouncer, and Sam as one of the waitresses. It's always a fun night. Food is great. We always order the Irish tater tots, N.Y.O.P, Taco's, are the Tuesday special, Cobb Salad, and their pizzas always hit the spot. The atmosphere is wonderful. There are plenty of TVs to watch whatever sports that you want at the moment. Mike always make sure there's motor cross on and football and any other sports that there is. Great way to spend your time is at BoutTime in Draper.

I had the Monte Cristo. Not may places have Monte Criatos and not too many people know what they are. Turkey, ham, cheese sandwich, battered and deep fried. Whoaaaa, so good. Served with honey. Mmmm mmmm mmmm. This place didn't serve it with honey but with a raspberry sauce, and THAT was good! The batter was crispy fried to perfection. Sooooo good. The fries were really good, too. Not a bad bar. The service could have been slightly better as I was never asked about a refill for my Coke, but not a biggie. She was handling the whole bar and our party of 35, so no complaints. Our food came out in a timely manner. Try them out! 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

The Monte Cristo eggrolls were absolutely sensational. The tater tots are superbly cooked, spiced and crispy on outside but steamy tender on inside. The pizza was a bit of a let down this visit (removed a star) but the chopped salad was a good side dish. The PB&J shot rounded things off nicely. This bar is well-lit and clean, unlike the dingy dungeons that describe most. Bryce will help you watch whatever game you want on one of the dozens of TVs.

The bartender working had no personality, and I waited about 15 minutes to get a drink. Ok that is fine, bar as not too busy and I thought maybe a new bartender. Finally got to me about 10 minutes in, took my order and I asked if the kitchen was open and yes handed me a menu and my drink, great. I reviewed the menu and I looked at it over and over and over and over and he still did not stop by to ask if I wanted some food so I ordered from someone different, that might have upset him, sorry dude. I just could not wait. I finished my food and drink, put my empty glass where bartenders can see. . .So my glass was empty, sitting at the bar, even captain obvious would have seen it or other bartenders, but this bartender seemed to ignore me and asked the couple to the right of me if they wanted another drink. Served them then went on his phone and 8 minutes later looked at me as if I was annoying and asked, do you want another one as he poured a draft for someone else. I reply no can you cash me out, condescendingly he asked so you don't want another one?. . .um no dude can you cash me out please! I really like this place and the people that work here are super chill however, I might move along if this dude is working. First time I have ever tipped bad and I feel horrible about it but felt that is the service I got. Cheers!

The Black Sheep is your totally standard local watering hole!…read more A good place to come for a cheap pint or to watch the game. Service can be hit or miss here. The bartenders we've interacted with when sitting at the bar are kind, if a bit slow to come around for refill on occasion. There is one waitress who seems put off by the need to serve you. She really irked my husband. The food is classic, satisfying, and filling after a pint. It is also well priced, as are the cocktail and shots offered. I think, if you want to get drunk, and then sober up with fat and carbs, this is a perfectly fine establishment to do it at if you are hyper local, but I wouldn't drive long distances out of my way for it.

But a very good late night snack of wings, hot wings, and beer with the mother and niece hit the spot. Overall, the prices were reasonable. We came for a late dinner and to hopefully watch a game. While wings are on the menu we opted for a half order of their nachos with shredded pork added and a chicken quesadilla to share. While my som opted for the wings. Of course someone had to try them. Thank goodness we ordered the half order after listening to our waitress explain how massive the full order is. She was definitely right because with two of us eating them and a quesadilla we couldn't finish. The nachos were phenomenal and definitely packed a punch with the diced jalapeño. Plenty of meat, beans and cheese. Our quesadilla was toasted well and good flavor, my son liked his wings, but said they weren't his favorite. He left a few uneaten. We also tried some pickle chips, but unfortunately were not a fan. They didn't really have any flavor and weren't seasoned well. The vibe was on point and service even better. There seemed to be many locals known by name and meeting up with friends. I love to see that. Our server was wonderful and had someone shadowing her who was equally great. While we weren't local to the place we felt very welcome.

We chose it because it was close to the hotel how lucky are we. We went with a group of five. We ordered three entrees and a side of wings. The wings were our starter and they were fantastic black and wings are great highly recommend. My wife and I split the fried chicken with a side of mashed potatoes and gravy and the cornbread it was absolutely fantastic cannot speak highly enough. My mom and dad split the shrimp and grits which they also said was great I did try the grits they were lovely, gooey, cheesy awesomeness. My sister had the kale salad as she needs gluten-free options it was easily the largest most fantastic looking kale salad I've ever seen, and she said it was great. The last thing I would probably comment on is the sauces with a name like sauce boss it better have good sauce and it did. Each and every sauce was unique from others I've had but didn't disappoint all where extremely tasty I especially like the spicy one that came with the fried chicken. At this restaurant they don't have salt and pepper on the table and for good reason everything was spiced and seasoned very well. As for service, our server was very attentive, very kind, made great suggestions and all that being that we came in within a half an hour, 45 minutes of closing, you can't beat that!!! If you want boring food don't eat here. If you want the same plain Jane thing you find at every other chain, don't eat here! On the other hand, if you want amazingly tasty food, service and sauces and a good story to tell eat here!!!

Draper, Utah…read more Southern food? Fried catfish? All in the middle of Utah? I had to try it. This is a sit down and order restaurant. Very casual inside, white walls with metal chairs and concrete floor. Very simple. Very small space. About 14 tables. I have food, allergies, and the waitress answered all of my questions. But then she sent the chef/owner, Julius, over to talk with me. Pleasant man from Chicago. But his recipes are all from his family who lived in the South. I ordered the fried catfish which is accompanied with two sides. I chose the candied yams and the mac & cheese. My husband ordered the fried chicken with mashed potatoes, potatoes, and gravy and the macaroni and cheese. Both plates are served with a slice of cornbread with a large honey butter smothered on top. The food came out very hot. The breading on the catfish is very thick and a lot of spices. I was pleasantly surprised when I cut my catfish and discovered it was deboned and tender. The mac & cheese was creamy and the candied yams were super sweet. Just the way I prefer them. They did seem a bit runny, but the flavor was good. The fried chicken was unbelievably moist. The breading was thick and crunchy. The mashed potatoes were of course, homemade with spices, and the brown gravy is chicken based. The cornbread was delicious. Comes with a slab of honey butter. I only wish it was served warm. It would've made the experience perfect. The food portions are large. The food has wonderful flavor with the perfect spice and southern heat. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and I would give it 4.8 stars. The only two things that brought it down from a perfect score were the cornbread being cold, and the restaurant was not a cozy feel. Please come check this restaurant out and meet Julius.
