This little coffee shop is attached to an apartment building with an entrance from outside. The posted hours are different than what show online-they actually close at 6:00, which we learned after we got settled in with our drinks and were deep in conversation. We had situated ourselves in the neighboring "living area" space of the apartment lobby, but apparently that closes with the coffee shop. Maybe it stays open for residents? Aside from the unexpected closing time, everything else was ok. The menu was kind of small and there seemed to be an emphasis on energy drinks, which might be great if that's your thing. Came here on a whim after looking for coffee places that opened kind of late. Instead of going to a mainstream coffee place, I wanted to try a smaller locally owned one. Pinned Coffee is located on the side of an apartment complex. There is free parking on the side for those getting coffee here. The bathroom is located inside of the apartment and it's not clean at all. I highly suggest avoiding going to the bathroom here. Now onto their coffee and drinks. I ordered a frozen lemonade and my husband ordered a latte with almond milk with an extra shot in it. Both of our drinks were not good at all. They did not use fresh lemons to make the frozen lemonade, but rather a powdered one from Country Time. The latte was really watered down and it tasted like there was no extra shot in it. There was only one person working during that time and she was super nice. Service was fast, but the quality of the coffee is really bad. So if you're a coffee fiend like me, I don't suggest coming here. However, if you do, this is a good spot to chill with friends or to study. There's plenty of space here inside the coffee shop. Note: they offer military discount. They also charge a 3% credit card fee on all card transactions so if you want to save that 3%, bring cash. read more

This a cute little coffee shop right in my apartment building at Jordan Station. It's so convenient and I love their iced lattes. I usually take my puppy for a walk on Sundays and then drop in for a pick me up. Also great on days I'm working from home! My favorite iced latte is the horchata. Also, the service has always been great. The barista recognizes me and is very sweet. They also have tables, a couch and wifi so you can sit down and work and stay awhile. Never tried the Red Bull frappes but I am curious. Don't hesitate to give this place a try. They also have pastries and a breakfast sandwich. read more

My husband ordered a Matcha from Pinned inside The Shops at South Town and it was awful. The matcha consistency was clumpy and the color of the matcha looked expired. The taste was sour and we took a sip and asked to trade it for something else or get a refund and she said that they don't do that so neither could be done. She was not pleasant about it which was sad she couldn't take accountability for the drink just not being up to standard or something being possible expired. Not to mention it was a waste of $8. The fact that we could just not trade it for a bottle of water or get a refund was shocking. read more

Me experience here was awful. I would leave zero stars if I could. I went in one morning around 11:00 AM and nobody was there. I waited about 15 minutes looked around, there was nobody anywhere to be found. As I was getting ready to walk out the worker appeared from the other building next door. She took my order and made my drink. My drink was AWFUL I took one sip and that was it. I drove to another coffee shop and got a drink there instead. I was charged close to $5 with tip for a coffee that wasn't even hot. When I told the woman it wasn't hot she offered to warm it up by steaming it. Just give me a hot coffee next time because the ghetto fix to your stale coffee didn't work. This place is sub par. I've been several times and have tried several drinks. The coffee isn't great but when not so great coffee isn't even warm (it should be hot of it is fresh) I just can't keep going. I hope to come back here and have a better experience and update my review but need to review honestly based on the experience I had. The woman who helped us was very nice, and the iced coffee was okay. However, we experienced a weird situation in which we literally stood at the counter for our 10 minutes while we were ignored as the barista made a ton of smoothies for a group order (there was no one else ahead of us). I think/hope this was a rare occasion (a huge order coming in before us), but overall it was not great to stand and wait and not even literally be acknowledged for so long. Luckily I was with someone else so we just chatted as we waited. Based on my experience, do not come here unless it's for a leisurely visit and you are absolutely in no hurry. As a former barista, I think there needs to be more training on prioritizing orders and acknowledging customers. read more

The location at the mall had an employee with tattoos working on dec 24th at 1 pm was pushing for me to put whipped cream in in my drink. When I told her no thank you, I have a dairy allergy she continued to push. I told her that I had tried the blended red bull drink because they said it was vegan but I ended up getting really sick. She pulled out the package and read the ingredients with us (it was in a blue bag) and I pointed out sodium caseinate and said that was a derivative of milk and was what I am allergic to. They falsely advertise their drinks as vegan but she was very transparent and showed us the ingredients when requested. Overall I would not go back due to the lack of understanding of what is/isn't vegan and I can't risk my health because of their lack of education. read more

Visited here on my last visit to Utah. Had some time before my customer visit which was a few feet away. It is on the corner part of a hotel. It is a small place but has a pretty good variety of drinks. I had an iced green tea and cinnamon roll. The only thing I wish is that they heated up the roll a little. Otherwise a good place to stop to kill some time. read more

I love Pinned Coffee so much. They are super quick and they don't mess up on quality. And the fact that they have delivery as an option is super convenient for me I just had a baby so I don't leave my house and also I'm needing the pick me up considering I just had a baby and still no sleep. It tastes wonderful, it reminds of a coffee shop back in California that I can't find anything remotely as good here. But Pinned Coffee hits it right on the nose. Also they don't put them in drink carriers for one drink like other places, which I appreciate for the planet. I was so excited that there was another coffee shop near my work (South Jordan) that wasn't your typical SB or B&B. Pulling into the parking lot, I was hoping this would be my new go-to spot. Sadly, my experience wasn't that great. I stood (one of two people) in the shop for 15 minutes before I was even greeted with a simple "hello". Once I was finally acknowledged, the barista's personality was bleak, at best. Not to mention she looked sloppy and every time she'd bend over, you could see down to her...well, we'll just say too far. Simply not professional in my opinion, at least wear a tank top underneath! I may be old school, but customer service is always what brings me back to any small business (or any business, whatsoever). The coffee was better than average, so I feel it's necessary to give 3 stars. But if this place doesn't start caring about the people who walk through the door or choosing employees who represent their business more professionally, I don't see how they'll make it in the long run. read more
