I ate a Gouda Sandwich with bacon egg and cheese on Friday March 8th 2024 and got a really bad stomach ache shortly after I ate it and was throwing up for 2 or 3 days and didnt feel good until the forth or fifth day after. I did filled out an online report for the Board Of Health for food poisoning, so hopefully they check them out. I can get past the long waits in a drive thru at SBUX, but not over-steamed milk. My mom's latte tasted beyond sour and burnt. She wasn't sure if it wasn't sure if it was due to a different coffee bean used, but when I tasted it, the problem was clearly with the milk. Being a former barista myself, this really isn't acceptable and maybe another training down day is in order. Worst Starbucks experience to say the least. If you need your caffeine, go to 7/11 or McDonald's unless you're willing to find another Starbucks. Save yourself the trouble and do NOT come to this location. The staff here could care less so they don't deserve your business. After dinner we decided to try this Starbucks since it's a new location. Plus it's Starbucks, they are known for having the best staff, amazing customer service on top of the beverages they offer. It was 7:10 pm and this store closes at 9pm. We got in and they were cleaning already which was okay. I ordered our drinks but the two ladies started giggling, not sure why, then they started whispering over their mic/headset, that was insulting. I tried to ignore and just ordered my drinks and we sat down. Since they were mopping the floor we decided to sit at the very end corner, trying to be considerate so they can continue with their cleaning 2 hours before closing. Guess what... The lady, I believe her name is Kaitey or Kaitlin (something with a K) started banging the chairs by us, we were sitting by the couches at the very back. I was like 'hmm she must be upset on something' so we tried to ignore it. The worst was yet to come... she started mopping by our feet, we were literally sitting by the pale of water and can smell the nasty water and mop. I was like, uhm this is awkward, does she want us to leave or she's just plain rude? Another guy with a kid came and a group of people...so I am sure we are well aware that it is not closing time yet and we are not ruining her plans to leave early. Her attitude was unacceptable and the rest of the crew. We decided to leave and I called the corporate office to give my honest feedback about their newly opened store. I swear, this place is not what I expect from a Starbucks. Rudeness. What a shame! The staff on this store on a Friday night def need some training regarding manners or common sense at least. Wow. This Starbucks has a staffing issue... on a Monday at 12:30, there should not be only 2 people working and we should not be waiting 5 minutes in the drive thru for a $20 order that consists of 3 sandwiches and 2 easy drinks. They messed up my order three times, once while in the drive thru when they gave me the wrong drink, then they remade it while I was still in the car. But they gave me the wrong drink again! So I went inside and the person with the long greenish colored hair acted very annoyed and rude to me. I understand accidents, however these employees were extremely hostile and not on top of their work. I myself was a GM at Starbucks for a few years. Sadly this is the closest Starbucks to my house/work, since it's the most accessible to me I always have to come here and be disappointed yon my drinks/baristas behavior, today in specific i decided to leave a review because of the way I got treated by the barista with the bob-cut that works in the morning, all I ordered was 2 drinks, a matcha and dirty chai with 2 espresso shots, keep in mind every single time I come to this Starbucks for some reason the always make you the whites most milk tasting matcha I've ever had in any Starbucks that's why I've been opting to make sure I order extra matcha at this location (even if I order it this way they always give me the blandest of all drinks!! How is this possible??). Today with my dirty chai, I ordered iced, it even said on the label like??, I tell barista nicely, hey you messed up both of my drinks, this barista has the audacity after making both of my simple drinks incorrectly to look at me and scoff, please Starbucks have real adults working not kids with attitudes. I tell her hey please be respectful since I paid for this drinks, I paid even extra for matcha because you guys don't know how to make it, this girls decides to remake my iced dirty chai, and DID NOT PUT THE 2 SHOTS OF ESPRESSO I PAID FOR, something you guys charge so much for. "Nice looking" place to lounge and work on your studies however this is a very fast paced coffee shop. We went around 1 pm on Saturday afternoon. My son and I ordered a large hot café mocha, mango dragon fruit tea and two sandwiches. My son was trying to order something to eat however we got rushed by the cashier to order and we hadn't even spent more than 10 seconds at the register. Needless to say I got a ice frappe that I didn't order. They were also out of sandwiches except for one. I spent $18 on everything and didn't get what I paid for. Good sandwich, good frappe, good mango dragon fruit tea. Poorly stocked, fast paced, wrong order, pricy. You may do better going to the drive through as this place is fast paced. Afterwards we went down the street to have street tacos I spent six dollars for four tacos and drinks that were delicious!! Save your money go elsewhere. read more

This store has been consistently bad since it opened. It's the closest coffee shop to my house, but I usually drive out of my way to avoid the frustration. Then I think I'll give it another shot and I'm disappointed again. Drink quality is not like other stores, staff is hit or miss with customer service. One time I got completely different drinks than I ordered and paid for and when I went back to have them remade (full coffees in hand) the employee argued with me about my order before unhappily remaking the drinks. Today I got there at 6:30 (online hours say open at 5am) and no one will take my order at the drive thru. Pull up to the window and there are 3 staff members inside, look over at me but wouldn't come to the window. One appeared to be working doing something with the baked goods and one was scrolling on her phone right in front of the window. This store just gets worse and worse. read more

This location consistently messes up drinks. I think it's a lack of proper training that hopefully gets corrected in the future. There's another location just south of this one that has awesome baristas that always make the drinks to perfection. Every once in a while I go to this location on 9000 S for convenience purposes but it's not worth the hassle when they keep making the drinks incorrectly and I end up going to the other location anyways to get what I want. This Starbucks is definitely in need of more people coming in. It doesn't feel like a Starbucks. More like a glass cage where people profile or rudely await some sort of action other than a chill and melllow spot to get a cup of coffee or other product. But to enhance the customer experience while at this Smith's. The newer male baristas seem to not understand the concept of having cordial interactions at the very least and how superior customer service is THE way to not only maintain, but build a strong clientele base. Maybe it's just me. I'll continue to support this location because i see a lot of potential. Overall not unsatisfied though. read more

A great Starbucks. The atmosphere is pleasant, albeit a little loud. Lots of tables and a great layout. Typical Starbucks fare - a toaster for sandwiches, etc. My work is about half a mile away and we use this for afternoon breaks all the time. The staff is friendly and vibrant and puts up with our 5-8 drink orders with grace and a smile. The drive through is fast, too. read more

I'm not trying to be THAT bitch, but I would really appreciate it if the baristas would actually look at what is supposed to go in my drink. I've been getting the exact same drink for nearly 2 years and I get it at least 2-3 times a week. I've ordered my coffee from this location multiple times but the past three times I've gone they've made my drink wrong. I always get a venti mocha frappe with three pumps of peppermint syrup and the past three times I've been here, I've gotten what tastes like a damn chocolate milkshake without a single hint of peppermint. I get my drink on my way to work and by the time I get a chance to take a sip, I'm already on the highway headed to work and I don't have time to turn around and get it fixed so I wind up just throwing them away because I hate the taste of chocolate. Like I said, I'm not trying to be that bitch but I've thrown away nearly $25 worth of coffee because of this. It's getting frustrating. read more

I raised my review in fairness. In the Past I've had issues having my coffee ground too fine. I've gotten used to having to Reiterate and Enunciate! You pretty much have to educate them on the difference between coarse and not-coarse every time. read more

This is a great Starbucks. It's big, has great service, and has a cool book exchange feature inside as well as providing "grounds for your garden." I know other locations provide that but the ones nearest us don't so I appreciated that. Definitely above average considering where we are. read more

Would like to say that these are one of the most hardworking baristas. I've been coming to this store for a while now. And what I've notice is that majority of customers come in with ridiculous orders, honestly it's just coffee people. You don't know but these baristas have to come in at 4:30 in the morning for their shift. If you get to know them, you'll find out a large percentage of them are full time students. But they constantly get crap from customers because of one wrong little detail. Honestly people how shitty of a life you must have to really be a rude person and complain about the coffee, even though you could've just politely asked the baristas to remake. Would like to thank the hard working baristas I mostly see during my mornings, and how great they have been to me. Cut them some slack people.
