They also had a biscuit with sausage and jam that I tried and also really liked it. My husband and I usually go to the one downtown and both locations are always great. They have a sign on the table 90min limit to be mindful of the parking area. They sell local coffee and coffee from other locations like Redding California. Didn't get a chance to ask about that type of coffee and why not stick to all local, don't get me wrong I love California! Born and raised but just wondered if there was some relation or just really good coffee beans.

Honeysuckle is always THE WAY…read more Their pastries are pretty top notch and have never disappointed. Their coffee is strong and dark. I usually order an iced Americano. TIP: If you order a pastry or anything needing to be warmed, budget extra time. Took 3-4 min for coffee, and around 15-20 min for a pastry. If you're planning on chilling, it's no problem, but if you're in a hurry, ide skip the warmed pastry. We got the biscuit with house made blueberry jam and sausage. Every element tastes homemade. Definitely worth the wait. I took a pic of the sausage and it's thick and juicy. My final verdict: THIS IS THE WAY

The layout is a bit of a maze and it's not super obvious where to go to order when you first walk in. And the staff wasn't super attentive. The coffee was okay. I ordered the Athena latte and my boyfriend ordered an iced americano. Neither one of us disliked our drinks but we weren't in any rush to go back for more. Athena Bean is a good coffee shop, but not necessarily one I would recommend as a local favorite.

All the crew came and and got drinks and used the restrooms. You're suppose to be an actual customer to use the restrooms these days, I think. No more homeless people hanging out in the lobbies of Starbucks anymore. The inside of this Starbucks location seems a little bigger than most. It's all clean and neat. The WIFI worked well and I was able to log on with my laptop and check my work email and any other stuff. Good no fires to put out. The rest rooms were clean as well. I filled my Starbucks thermo mug and that will keep my coffee hot for a few hours. We all got our drinks and I paid for it all on my Starbucks card, so back to the hotel now.

I ordered the snickers in hopes it would be sweet but not overpowering. Maybe that was my mistake. I saw it and I was already nervous. The entire drink was dark brown. It looked like chocolate milk. Which idk, maybe that's what it's supposed to look like, but oh my goodness I couldn't even taste the extra shot of espresso I ordered. Literally straight hersheys syrup. So I poured half of it out, added some almond milk and it's still pretty concentrated. Idk I'm not the kind of person to veto a place for making one bad drink, but I like my coffee to taste like coffee lol. Hopefully next time I go it does! In other news, the raspberry muffin was yummy!
