So-so. I had the cheeseburger for baseline experience. It was OK, but nothing to excite me about. Same for the fries. Service was friendly and it is a fun place to dine. I think I will try them again just to see why it is such a local favorite. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. Not a bad place to stop! There is a decent variety of items on the menu and they also have a drive thru. I would say the highlights are the classic gyro, the fries (+ fry sauce), and the chicken tenders. The fries are larger but still crispy which I appreciate. The gyro is huge and the flavor was great. I've also tried their Jr Olympus burger (which was still huge!) but I wasn't very impressed. I've had a better burger at similar places in the area. If you're hungry though, you'll get large portions here and it will do the job. Nothing fancy. read more

Olympus Burger never fails to disappoint. Went 2 days ago (5/17/2023) and my gf and I always have the same thing...Greek Salad with grilled chicken. It was excellent as usual. I've never had the burger but they look very good. A huge plus is the restaurant is SPOTLESS. The staff are always cleaning/sanitizing the booths, tables and sweeping the floor. Olympus Burger isn't the cheapest but you can't beat the quality of their product(s) and the overall cleanliness of their store (Sandy location). You get what you pay for. read more

Great atmosphere. Very family like. Staff was super friendly. There are 2 locations, 1 in Sandy, and the 2nd in Murray. Family owned business. They custom made my sandwich. This is not fast food, but a restaurant. It is all made fresh. Be prepared to wait a little bit for your food. Very well lit dinning area. I came around lunch time. Not a huge crowd which was nice. The staff will stop and talk to you. Sandwich - fresh. Lettuce was like the kind you buy at the store. Big pieces. Chicken was juicy and they melted the cheese on. Good tomatoes slices too. Not those kind like at Mc D's where they are flimsy and fall apart. These were crisp tomatoes. Even the bun had a light grill too it. Very good sandwich and excellent portion size. Bigger chicken breast is not always better. Light breading on chicken. Good flavor. Onion Rings - lightly breaded. Perfect portion size and I ordered small. Super smooth fry sauce to dip them in. Normal onion rings inside. Some people put monster onions in their onion rings. You end up with too much onion. These were good. Golden brown in color. Awesome. I will return here to try other items. On my last few visits to Olympus Burger, I have been less impressed than formerly. I previously praised their hamburgers, and honestly all of their food was pretty good. I don't know if there has been a change in the restaurant or my tastes, but I've been less satisfied as of late. The kabob meats are chewy, and lean to the dry side. Burgers are poorly seasoned, relying instead on the various toppings they offer. That might be okay, but I usually just get a cheeseburger wrapped in lettuce (props for an option outside a bun!), and the results are lackluster. Their pastrami is overly salty and fatty (attributes that meat is known for, but it's a bit much). Fries are never as crispy as I would like, and when I request "extra crispy" they are too browned. Fry sauce is 90% mayo, and requires the addition of condiments to make it palatable. It also takes a long time to receive your order, sometimes fifteen or twenty minutes, and on the one hand, respect for cooking to order, but on the other, at that point I might as well just make my way to an actual restaurant. In that same vein, while prices are not high, they do add up, and often times I could have received a far superior product for the same or less elsewhere. On the positive side, I appreciate their vast menu options. The baklava is always tasty. Employees are polite. And I know I just spent a paragraph complaining, but they are certainly better than the majority of burger chains, without contest outperforming any in the league of McDonalds or Burger King. I do not eat a great deal of fast food, so perhaps my expectations are too high. Just, ya know, don't come here expecting anything spectacular. read more

Great French fries! Honestly, they are always hot, crispy on the outside, soft and moist on the inside. Absolutely love them. Onion rings, too. What I don't get is that fry sauce. Honestly, they have built an empire yet their fry sauce is horrible. If you're able to cut it with 50% ketchup, you're golden. Blows my mind they pass that garbage off as fry sauce and Utahns gobble it up. Had a gyro recently. Used to love their gyros! This one had so much meat it kept falling out of the pita. I mean, the bag containing the gyro and fries seemed to weigh a couple of pounds! That being said, it was really dry. Even with the sauce. I kept wondering how they managed making dry sauce. All the ingredients of the sauce are mostly water yet the entire sandwich went down like a brick of sawdust. Okay, that's a little harsh. Also, I didn't get a drink and ate everything at a park while throwing a ball to my dogs. May have made things different had I had something to wash everything down with and some ketchup to cut that fry sauce with. Just missing that juicy, moist, oily goodness that a typical gyro has. The chicken gyro is one of my favs! The sauce they put on it is fantastic and the chicken is always tender, heavily seasoned on a buttery flatbread accompanied with sliced tomato and red onion. The lamb gryo is good as well, I just prefer the chicken over lamb. The fries are crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. Yum! Their shakes are good too! You can even request a baklava shake if you're feeling a little crazy ;) It super rich and usually takes 2 people to down it. I've never been inside the restaurant... But I usually have a bit of a wait going through the drive-thru. I don't mind, but if you're in a hurry just plan accordingly. read more

In town from Montana and we usually go to Best Chicken and Ribs for our Greek fix but they are closed on Sundays. Liked the reviews for Olympus Burger and thought we'd give it a shot. I had the chicken souvlaki platter which was good and my husband the gyro combo meal. That gyro meat was THE most horrid thing I have ever witnessed be served anywhere. It resembled rawhide dog chews and were equally as hard. You can see in the photo you could hold a piece of the meat and it wouldn't even bend. We knew the moment he unwrapped it, it was inedible and how they even thought it was okay to serve that is beyond me. Best Chicken and Ribs blows this place out of the water. Went here for lunch with a lot of my coworkers. 14 of us total. We all ordered and within 5 minutes or so we all had our orders. Great service and friendly staff. I got the golden pastrami burger with fries. It has Texas toast instead of a bun. It was very tasty. A friend gave me an onion ring and they were mediocre at best. I wouldn't order them if I come back. The breading was to much. Lots of parking around the building. They have Pepsi products which is a nice change. The dinning room is large and very clean. The only down side is that they charge for extra fry sauce. I would come back again and recommend it to others. read more

We paid $17.99 for 4 fish filtets and chips. We waited 95 minutes for our food. There were only 3 fish, cannot call them filets. The fish was so thin you could't see it. The fries had been microwaved and were hard as rocks. The meal came with some pita breat that had also been microwaved and were also hard as rocks! The wait was because they could not find a driver. This has happened to me at other places but they were kind enough to cancel the order so that we could find somewhere else. We called, spoke to the manager, but he refused!
