As we placed our online order I was raving to my mom about how much I love Five Guys BLT Sandwiches. They always have a hearty amount of lettuce and bacon (which I importantly noted was always just the right amount of crispy). Upon returning home I opened up my sandwich and saw some burnt ends but thought "it might just be a few crispier pieces" took a bite and it was burnt so bad you couldn't even taste the bacon flavor! The whole thing just crumbled apart into dust. I like my bacon crispy, but this was just a whole other level. Was one of my favorite items on the menu, forever tainted by the charcoal sandwich I received. I know things get busy, but the fact that someone decided to put blackened bacon on a sandwich, and thought it would taste good, is something management might want to discuss to ensure no more burnt bacon gets handed to customers. read more

I am so thankful for the staff here at Five Guys! We came early to get some burgers. I had a tough time waking up this morning and accidentally forgot to ask for my burger to be lettuce wrapped. Last time coming here... Okay, let me start by saying that I eat carnivore. It's simple. I came here to get some burger patties with cheese. I have not had an issue at other Five Guys locations. Only here. You can order a single burger patty for $2. Typically at other locations, I will ask for cheese on a few of the patties and they are more than happy to accommodate this request although there is not a way for them to add just a single cheese to your order. Most other burger places such as Wendy's, Habit, In N Out, etc, will do this. At this location they absolutely refused, which is fine, but I will not eat here again. At the other locations, I TIP well as I know they went out of their way to add just a single slice of cheese to a patty. Are they more concerned about the bottom line or their customers? The manager just up right refused. "Not policy" as I heard. Take it for what that is worth. SO I assume each Five Guys is each individually owned and operated. Did the Five Guys meet the Five Wives yet? I am not seeing a collab yet but I hope to get credit for the wonderful idea someday. One brand has whole potatoes everywhere and one brand has adult potato juice everywhere--it's a match made in heaven, really. I have passed this Five Guys for five years straight and just barely visited it for the first time. I am not sure what it is specifically, but I just always opt for something else when I am in the area. Regardless, this Five Guys is in an awesome, centralized location. I understand their ingredients are "fresh" and whatnot, but the prices have always seemed a bit unjustifiably steep to me. You have to get everything a la carte and it just seems to add up quickly. The good news is, I haven't found much of a difference between their regular burgers and their "little burgers", except for the pricing, so I opted for the little burger. With their burgers, you can get whatever toppings you want on it, so it's best to load it up and get the most bang for your buck. I got the pickles, lettuce, onions, peppers, ketchup and mustard. We also all got orders of fries. For those that have not been to Five Guys, they put three fries in the cup and then fill the bag with fries everywhere. It looks like an accident every time, but it's part of the brand. On this specific day, our fries were extremely salty...like unbearably salty. Next to the drink station, they have ketchup and fry sauce up for grabs. I ended up needing to go get some more ketchup because whoever made my burger didn't put a whole lot of sauce on it. It would be so much better if we could dictate the portions of the toppings but a bar where everyone is touching things isn't ideal either. The burger itself was pretty good though. I'll keep this Five Guys location in mind but there are definitely a few places I prefer before this one. read more

This is a family favorite of ours. am always ordering the Cajun fries and a little bacon cheeseburger is more than enough for me. Another great option. If you have people in your family that are particular about their burger toppings. I always feel bad for the little 16-year-old workers that looks stressed behind the counter. I'm a huge fan of their app because they get busy and the wait can be long. I usually give them an extra five minutes to get my food ready beyond the estimated time because they usually run late. I think the app estimates the expected time, but not necessarily the appropriate amount of time to get food ready. Five guys is consistent in what they make. Went to this location for lunch today, it was super busy and there were only 2 workers. The employees were obviously overwhelmed with the crazy lunch rush but were still incredibly nice and communicative of what a time estimation would be with the customers. I'm not a review type of guy. Especially negative ones, but I signed up for Yelp,specifically for this occasion. The manager and one cook here should be fired. It's easy to spend $100 at this place, very expensive food, especially within In-N-Out and such close proximity. My daughter chose here for her birthday. Not one single burger was prepared correctly. I'm talking about buns and meat. No toppings. My went and politely informed them. The clerk behind the cashier machine responded that it was her first day. However, it wasn't her fault. Everything was listed on the receipt. She went and got a manager. The manager came over and was very mediocre in his response. He's probably a year or two out of high school. It wasn't satisfactory, but not what I would be writing a review about. Here's the part that was the kicker. The cooks took some sort of personal offense to the fact that they didn't do their job. If that wasn't crazy enough, they started trying to intimidate teenage girls that were with us. Posturing. Making hand gestures. Staring. Over in the corner talking smack. The single, most unprofessional behavior I've ever seen from staff. It was to the point where I wanted to take the one cook outside and teach him some respect. Very good burgers!! My husband usually picks up and brings it home which works out great because they wrap burgers/sandwiches tightly in tinfoil so they stay nice and hot!! My little guy loves their grilled cheese. Usually eats the entire thing but if he doesn't he will let me heat it up for him the next day. He doesn't usually like that so I appreciate it! (takes after his dad & doesn't like left overs, little snots!) They don't give you as many fries as they used too but you still get enough and they are pretty tasty, choice between normal and spicy. Five Guys has always made a consistently good burger for me. This location is no different. The cajun fries are excellent and overflow the bag, the burger is great and the ingredients, especially the jalapeños, always look and taste fresh. The price is good, not great, and you can expect to pay $10+ for a burger, fries and drink. They do the annoying no combo thing which is part of why I don't go there too often. If I'm going to pay $10+ per person for a meal and I'm eating with my girlfriend I'll usually go eat somewhere nicer than Five Guys. For quick, delicious food though, they are great. And of course the obligatory In-N-Out comparison has to be made. Five Guys burgers and fries completely destroy anything In-N-Out puts out. I do wish Five Guys had shakes though, but it sounds like that won't ever happen. read more

I really dig this place. I'm a big fan of crafting my own burger with just the right toppings for my mood that day, so there's one reason I like them. Of course, the toppings alone don't necessarily make the burger, but they really do have quality ingredients and I've never been disappointed (other than the price being a titch steep). The second I walked in the door, this location seemed to lack the upbeat friendly atmosphere of other Five Guys I've been to. There was no greeting, and barely a hello at the register even. They also seemed understaffed, having only 3 employees behind the counter for the 12 oclock lunch hour. The food here is good, I was happy with my meal, but my wallet wasn't so happy. The cost, nearly $15 for a burger, reg fries, and reg drink is significantly more than a comparitive meal at JCWs. The sign hanging on the wall that says "inexpensive but high quality" is a joke. It certainly costs for the quality. You're also sacrificing atmosphere here at this location as it is smaller, crowded and loud. Never heard of this place before, but read all the reviews while using the bathroom so I figured I would give them a try. I ordered a small everything and, boy, am I glad I did - their servings are gigantic. I got a small burger with everything on it except tomatoes and mushrooms. The burger was meh. I ended up pulling the meat off and tossing the bun, as I could barely find it in all that bread. I guess kids don't care about the meat that much, but I'd rather have had it with no bun at all. The fries, however, are amazing! I would come back just for the fries. Now, let's talk atmosphere. It is exceptionally loud inside. Not just from the screaming bratty children running around but because their music is jacked up to top volume. I do not know which is trying to drown out the other. Also, it is positively frigid in there. I mean so cold that I could not stop shivering long enough to eat. Between the frayed nerves from the screaming children and loud music and being so cold that I could not feel my fingers, I packed up and ended up eating in the car. Which is kind of difficult, as they pack their fries in a little cup - which they overfill by like double (not complaining!), and then stick in a paper bag. I lo-hoove malt vinegar on my fries, so the bag pretty much disintegrated between the grease and the vinegar. They were nice enough to give me another bag, but I would have preferred one of those old-timey boats that fries used to come in. Still, the fries are good enough to mess with. So, how I rated them: 5 stars for the fries, sauce, and for offering malt vinegar. I'd give them six or seven if I could. 3 stars for the burger. It wasn't bad, it just isn't the star of the show. -3 stars for the premature cryogenics. -2 stars for the noise. Service was swift and friendly, so they're A-OK with me. read more

I don't like the wacky idea of bacon in the shakes and I see the chain has finally figured out they can easily lighten up the fries so that people don't wind up tossing half the order, but as long as they have the peanuts and sling those tasty burgers and keep Coke Zero on tape, them and me, we's good. Way good. This place, while a little slower than normal, does a pretty solid job. Counter staff is great, restrooms nice and clean, could have used more sauce on the burger, but it's not like they knew my preference and my lazy ass could (and should) have gotten more. Real talk here, this is another solid location and backs my feeling that this one of the more reliable chains, in addition to having some excellent burgers. If you want them to make you a burger my way, choose either single or double patty, add cheese, bacon, mushrooms, jalapenos, A-1 sauce and get thee face full. I've gotta say, I used to eat this Five Guys on a regular basis and it has gone down hill over the last 2 years. Today was the worst experience I've had here. 4 of us ate together. They messed up a burger, a shake, didn't give us a drink cup that we paid for, and charged us for an extra fry. The fries were terribly made. I worked at this location for 3 years, was there when it opened, and assistant manager it for a time. I can tell you that these fries were not prepped correctly. Usually we are fighting over the final fries, today we through away a majority of them. Hopefully they figure things out, but for now they've lost a loyal customer. read more

Burgers are big. Greasy, big. French Fries are lots. Lots of Greasy that will seep through your bag by the time you get home with the bag. The worst part about this place is that you smell like a deep fat fryer when you get home. So, if you are out on a late night (before 9 pm closing) and you want to get something to eat and be covert about it to your wife/husband/kids/friends, etc, when you get back to your place, don't go here. As soon as you walk through the door, you're busted. They will smell the place on you and you will have some explaining to do. In fact, just bring in the greasy bag of fries you bought (because you bought the large fries, thinking the order would be small like the Chicken place fries are next door) and you can simply share with them. Having eaten Five Guys in Atlanta for many years I was very happy to find one here. Simple menu of burgers and fries. Which means excellent burgers and excellent fries. Wide variety of toppings and sauces to choose from, all of which come at no additional cost. And a small fry means a bag overflowing with fries, so be warned if you are a Five Guys newbie. You might need a second person to help with the fries. And as other reviewers mentioned, it can sometimes be really cold in there. Oh and if you have peanut allergies, there are open boxes of roasted peanuts around the store for folks to munch on while they wait for their food, so plan accordingly. read more
