The hot chocolate caught my eye and it was so delicious on a cold winter night. The cheeseburger was pretty massive and came with a bunch of crispy fries as well. I tried my friend's mac and cheese and chili and those were both delicious as well. This spot is so cozy and I'll definitely be back!

The staff is fantastic, friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming, but the real star is the food. To start, we shared the Buttermilk Biscuit, Duck Fat Tater Tots, and the Beet & Citrus Salad. That salad... I'm still dreaming about it. The biscuit was equally delicious and will definitely be my go to from now on. The tater tots, while okay, lacked a bit of flavor. It did pair as well with the salad, but lone was lacking something. For the entree, I had the Breakfast Sandwich and also got a taste of the Brunch Tostada. Both were incredible, but the sandwich stole the show for me. The biscuit is absolutely top tier, and the chorizo sausage patty was perfectly spiced not too hot, just the right kick and paired beautifully with the rest of the sandwich. And the lattes? Simply amazing. Honestly, I'm in love with this place and can't wait to go back. The Saint Clair has officially converted me into a brunch fan and already have the date to go back.

The inside has both a main dining hall and a greenhouse, which feels like basically sitting on a covered patio with well kept shrubbery and ambient lighting. It's a neat balance of modern and open while still feeling cozy. I think my favorite dish is the ramp fava bean toast -- the umami from the purée balanced with the crunch of the toast and the brightness from the pickled ramps. I'd also recommend the steak two ways -- both cuts cooked perfectly to medium rare -- and the lobster linguine was delicately fragrant, buttery, and slightly acidic all at once. The chips and eggplant dip (kind of like hummus consistency) was kind of a fun, shareable starter too. I will say that I wasn't impressed with the ceviche or branzino our waiter recommended it. The branzino particularly came out a bit dry, and more of the tomato-olive-caper side or dressing would've helped. And while our waiter answered our questions, service felt a little more on the less attentive side.

I wish, I had ordered it. Taking one star off because the French chicken was extremely dry. Our regular server did not serve the entrées. I didn't see our regular server to flag down. All the other servers were running around. Otherwise, I would've asked one of them. Our server came over when it was dessert time. We decided to order Espresso Martini Shots. The shots were yummy! I've been to DeNovo many times. From now on, I would forego their entrees and stick with their amazing cocktails and wonderful appetizers.
