Life affirming experience per ush! Lovely outdoor space on a gorge evening. Specials & mains & coffee & desserts on point!
I recently stopped in here for cheesecake and a cake slice to go and the place was booming with business! Always a great sign to not only see the community supporting the small businesses, but to even see the owner there. I heard him introduce himself to a table behind me and I was impressed because he was doing all the things the other workers were doing. He was taking orders, running food and just overall making sure things were being handled. There was another young man in front of me for counter orders and yes he and I both had to wait, but I was happy too. Everyone was moving and trying to take care of their guests and I was not in a rush. Now for the actual things I ordered: the lemon blueberry cheesecake delicious, and I enjoyed the German Chocolate Cake. I ordered both by the slice and I paid about $10 for each. They have a fantastic instagram where you can see the featured cheesecakes and the what his specials will be. I think this place was cozy and I liked seeing the sidewalk patio seating too. Parking is not provided but there is a parking deck directly across the street.
The food was delicious as well as the cappuccino! The service was great until it was time for the check (they forgot about me...at least that's what I think). The ambiance/restaurant is quite small. I'd probably go back...and sit where they can actually see me. LOL.
Lots of great options from Anthony's. While I can't comment on the dinner food, the desserts were great even after a long drive. The flavors were all fantastic. The restaurant is small and cozy. Anthony and his staff are all delightful, friendly, and very fun to chat with. I highly recommend checking them out!
This was place was recommended from another APp. We were in the area and I wanted to taste their cheesecake. I assumed it would be ok. No , this cheesecake was amazing. So soft and flavorful. I don't like plain cheesecake but their NYC style cheesecake was that good. It didn't need a topping. Service was quick because parking is an issue here. We came back to order 2 cakes for a dinner party. You can order from a large selection of flavors. We have had the Oreo, the cookie butter and the apple crisp. The apple crisp has fresh apples inside. It is so good.
Anthony's cheesecake restaurant is your quintessential family restaurant. The owner Anthony is always available to answer all of your questions and is one of the warmest people you can never meet. As for the food, everything is delicious! And the desserts are to die for. This establishment is always spotless and the wait staff are always friendly and willing to help you. I definitely recommend this lovely establishment. Enjoy!
I have a question Anthony Do you ever eat the food you prepare? If you do how do you all manage to say so fit and trim geeez... This stuff is so good that it's worth breaking any diet for it.. Sweet potatoes topped with Italian sausage layered with bacon and topped with eggs and cheese of your choice and I mean delicious not greasy pure wholesome good. Let me tell you this was epic and then to top it off I took home the coconut caramel cheesecake. The slices are huge and therefore we each had a slice from his store slice (three slices) Anthony this is celebrity chef worthy no joke....
I really love this place -family here to celebrate Mother's Day 2025 the service is always very special and friendly. The crowd was in a celebratory and friendly spirit and the food as always was excellent. We enjoyed the experience.
Went in for brunch this morning. Food was delicious. They didn't have the full brunch menu so needed to have some backup options but both of our dishes were fantastic. We'll definitely be back. We were there right after the restaurant opened so service was a bit slow but the atmosphere was nice.
Parking is either street parking or in the garage across the street. I recommend using the parking garage as it is less stressful. On the weekends I recommend making a reservation as it becomes rather chaotic and they have limited seating. First off my boyfriend made a reservation for 12:30pm. We stood for maybe 10 minutes in the entrance as there is no hostess stand and they appear to be greatly understaffed. Once we were seated it was about another 15 minutes before anyone came to the table to tell us specials and drinks as the menu situation is scan and it goes directly to their brunch specials. A party of four came down and sat next to us maybe 10 minutes after ordered and received their food before us which was extremely frustrating. My boyfriend ordered the short rib steak skillet and was disappointed as the meat tasted as if it was just boiled and missing basic seasoning. Otherwise it would've been great. I ordered the Apple fritter French toast, which the apple fritters were definitely soaking a bit too long in the egg as they were on the mushy side, it would've been perfect if it was a bit crunchier perhaps toast or broil for a finished crunch. The owner Anthony took our orders and it was very chaotic and lots of long wait times that could've been organized better. The location has a great review but my experience did not reflect that. Maybe it was a bad day as it was a weekend but a well know brunch spot could definitely do better. Unfortunately I don't think it would be work the drive to give it another try.
I honestly don't know about the hype. Simple cheesecakes, very expensive, not a great location. The food itself looked really good, but i didn't buy anymore. My mother liked her lemon bar the best.
Great dining experience! Amazing service and staff. The owner is very attentive and welcoming. The food was delicious and portions are generous-I ordered the chicken cutlet and of course some bread pudding for dessert which was to die for. Highly recommend.
Great place, great food, wonderful food. Service was friendly, courteous and accommodating! The owner came and greeted us while we waited for our food.

Been meaning to try this place and now I'm happy to say I did. Atmosphere: Went in for breakfast on Saturday morning around 9am and the place wasn't crowded at all. Very casual place. Food: Ordered the pumpkin cheesecake muffin toasted with butter for sharing. The muffin was so moist and had a really prominent and delicious pumpkin and pumpkin spice flavor to it. I ordered the croissant french toast. The french toast was good and plentiful, however i feel like the fact that it was a croissant didn't add much to the dish...it was simply a solid french toast and nothing more. The fruits on top were fresh as well. I will comment on the amazingness of their crispy af potatoes. They boil them then fry them so they are 100% always crispy, which makes them super super enjoyable. My boyfriend got the breakfast burrito with sausage and I must say that it was 100 times better than my dish. Everything about the burrito tasted fresh and delicious. It wasn't heavy at all and just completely delightful. I legit want it next time I go. We opted for a slice of pumpkin cheesecake and tiramisu to go. The pumpkin cheesecake was super rich and creamy and again, packed with pumpkin spice flavor. The tiramisu was also really light and not too sweet, and I enjoyed the lady fingers with it. Service: Wonderful, everyone there is friendly and Anthony was super welcoming. I can't wait to come back and try dinner one of these Friday/Saturday nights. read more

Review for cheesecake only - This is absolutely, hands-down the best cheesecake I've ever had. We took it to go, so I can't speak about the ambiance at the restaurant or anything like that. However, I would take the trip back here for the cheesecake alone. For about $6 a slice, it's worth it. We tried the red velvet and New York style cheesecake. Both were really good. The New York had a thick graham cracker crust and was really rich and delicious. As for the red velvet, I can't even describe how good it was - moist, thick and rich. I can't wait to be back and try different varieties! read more
This place has been on my bucket list for the longest and I'm glad I finally got the opportunity to stop by.. I came here for lunch during restaurant week. We ordered a burrito and chicken rabe wrap with fresh mozzarella... Both were delicious and fresh ... Will definitely come back And yes don't forget dessert ... I got red velvet and carrot cake ... This is a hidden gem within Bloomfield and my new favorite place. First of all, Anthony, the owner, greeted every single person personally that walked through his door. He is a very sweet, kind, caring and compassionate man. He made us feel so welcomed. Secondly, the food there was delicious. There is a large selection on the menu. We ordered the empanadas for an appetizer. They were so delicious-the crust was cooked to perfection and the green sauce that you too it with -oh my God!! I ordered the cauliflower crusted pizza with veggies and garlic grilled shrimp. It was absolutely outstanding-I could not tell the crust was cauliflower at all. My daughter order the spicy vodka sauce with prosciutto and burrata-she loved it! My husband ordered the chicken with sausage-the chicken was crispy and so flavorful and the rest of the dish had eggplant,sausage potatoes etc.-he loved it!! Of course, we ordered the slutty brownie cheesecake. It was gone in 5 minutes. We also shared the banana pudding trifle -so so yummy!!! This is a must try restaurant!!! read more

Lunch was again absolutely Delicious, Devine, healthy and it leaves me now questioning myself why do I even eat anywhere else Anthony's Cheesecake is simply put the best healthy eats and just the best Desserts. I just had the most decadent dessert ever!!!! Crushed Pecans with cinnamon brown sugar topped with butter cake and topped with cheese cake um, um, um.. Always a pleasure to come to Anthony's. Here is why it stands out: FRESH FOOD! Nothing is pre-cooked as far as I can taste. The menu during the weekday to include Saturdays is to die for. The Sunday menu is a bit more geared towards the brunch side of things. Really mellow place, and for those of you who like desserts, this is the place. They even have order services available, meaning cakes, etc for your holiday parties and special events. read more

This place feels like home. From the nice sofa outside to the cozy feeling you get on the inside, this place just feels comfortable. The person that was working there was very pleasant and attentive and I wish I knew his name so I could give him a shoutout. It was a Thursday afternoon and the place was not very busy. The menu was stacked with delicious items but my girlfriend and I decided to share the Cinnamon Croissant French Toast (the thing that attracted us to this place) and the pulled pork with disco fries for a nice savory and sweet contrast. The French toast was great! Just think making french toast but with a croissant. It gives a nice fluffier texture that I prefer much more than classic french toast. The pulled pork disco fries were just so filling and delicious. The fries were perfect and with the pulled pork on top making it even more delicious. The food was nice and homey and I would highly recommend this place if that is what you are looking for! Parking can be found on the street. I didn't see a lot. read more

They are definitely a busy business, so try and call ahead for reservations. Very cozy and cute, food looks great, and you are able to BYOB (bring your own bottle, liquor store will deliver to the restaurant for free if you don't feel like walking around the corner)! The servers are very friendly but they may need to hire at least one server. Don't be afraid to speak up, they might not hear you if you are soft spoken. The chicken and waffles are GREAT! I bookmarked this place on yelp a while ago and didn't get the chance to give it a try until today for my mom's birthday. It's the cutest little breakfast/lunch spot with great coffee, baked goods, and an extensive menu that changes periodically. There's incredibly friendly waiter service, but it's the type of shop where you're welcome to refill your coffee as you please as if you were at home. The food did take a little longer to come out but it was well worth the wait (and expected for a weekend brunch). Just order a basket of their amazing and freshly made scones to hold you over. The entree portions aren't too big and definitely not too small. I got the Pork Tamale/Empanada entree of which the over easy egg that adorned it was just the right amount of runny. Too stuffed from the food, we had a chance to glance at the looooong dessert menu and we'll definitely have to go back very soon to give them all a try. read more

Came here for dessert following a meal nearby and was thoroughly impressed with the selection! The name Anthony's Cheesecake is slightly misleading in the sense that this is actually a fully-functioning restaurant but either way we were welcomed with open arms for just tea and dessert. Given the selection, it took some time to decide but we opted for the Tres Leches cake and the Coconut Custard Pie. As far as actually cheesecakes, there was only one selection available at the time, Caramel Turtle. Tres Leches: Yes. YES. YES!!! Everyone knows that a great Tres Leches will be dripping into the plate and that's exactly the case here. Tastes and flavors are on point. Coconut Custard: It was slightly under-sweetened and tasted a little to egg-y in my opinion but was a great contrast to the overly sweet Tres Leches. Super friendly service and great, romantic atmosphere! read more

[review for brunch only] Basically, I'm speechless and I need to go back IMMEDIATELY. I'm just going to get right to it. I ordered the croissant french toast, with an addition of cannoli cream, strawberries and bananas, and my friend ordered it plain. They both came with a side of THE CRISPIEST MOST AMAZING ROSEMARY POTATOES EVER and an orange slice. My friend doesn't even like rosemary and she said it was perfect. I just can't even. It was amazing. I need it over and over again. There were so many delicious sounding things on the menu, and I am 10000000% going back so I can try them all. I already told my coworkers about this place, and one went the next day! We also ordered a Reese's cup cheese cake and it was to die for. Although, I can't agree that the pie crust they used works well with cheesecake. It was a little bland. Actually, now that I think about it, the actual contents of the pie were sweet enough to forego any additional flavor to the whole ensemble. Currently thinking about the tater tot skillet that had listed on the menu. Someone order it and let me know how it is. read more

One of the best brunches I've ever had! The chicken and waffles were ridiculous. I want to die with that dish in my mouf. Blueberry casserole was a special that day. I wish it had some more blueberries because at times I couldn't taste much. However, it was still delicious and the potatoes were crispy and flavorful. I returned and brought a party of 4 this morning and we all had different entrees: waffles with cookie butter; bacon, egg and biscuit sliders; sausage, peppers and scrambled eggs; eggs and spinach flatbread. We loved everything and cleaned our plates. Unlike a lot of restaurants that mass produce food and serve bottled junk, you can tell everything is fresh, made on the premises and prepared with quality ingredients. The waffles are soft and buttery and didn't have copious amounts of cookie butter, the biscuits were golden, eggs tender and everything was well seasoned. Service was attentive. It's a small little spot you could possibly miss cause of all the other business and distractions going on but when your in.. You'll get wrapped in the vibe.. Old school music..intimate setting.. Friendly staff.. Total time warp Pros: The Food is great. With a variety of choices you can go healthy or hearty pick your poison. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The meals are a very good size to leave you full with a little bit left over for later. The prices are very friendly and you don't come out feeling bad checking your funds later . it's a nice intimate spot for you and your date and Anthony himself introduced himself to us Big Plus!! The place is very warm, dimly lit, clean and by mid bite it got pretty filled up. If Anthony came up with a gimmick entree I can see the reservations piling up! Will be back soon Cons: we link the intimate vibe but if you have a party of 3 or more you might be a little squished. A little disappointed that my orange juice came in a Tropicana cartoon. Been following this establishment for some time, but finally went and had brunch this past Saturday and it met all of our expectations. The owner and staff were A+ and didn't miss a beat serving our 22 person party. The food just sooo good and the cheesecake was de-lish! Will be back very soon!
