The manager sent me a message apologizing for the service. I bumped my rating up 1 star since I believe that shows they are very concerned about the customer experience and I will look forward to possibly trying this place out again in the future. read more

Well the only reason they get a 3 star is the awesome waitress we had. Busy and not enough cooks. It took forever to get food like 45 minutes. Then I ask for no mushrooms in my omelet but they were there anyway. Waitress had written it down. Other around us waiting forever to and many wrong orders and missing food from them. Price are above most so you'd expect better. English muffin hard omelet one of worst ever. Please remember a happy customer tells 4 or 5 friends. A UNHAPPY customer tells everyone and puts it on Yelp!!! read more

This brunch place was one of the best I've been to in the area. The mimosas tasted great and were very reasonably priced for all of the variety of flavors that were offered. The food was good as well as the service. Could very easily become a weekend tradition for brunch. read more

This is by far the worst establishment I have been to. The service is so slow we actually had to leave after 30 minutes of waiting for our children's pancakes and not getting them. The staff was standing around instead tending to coffee orders. Other patrons were experiencing the same horrible service. read more

Yes, everything was delicious! I ordered the shrimp & grits I just needed an extra side of grits to really enjoy the savory shrimp! Not enough grits for the serving. So good!! I requested without the pork sausage and it was still very good! The server was super nice, friendly, and helpful! Will return when in town! read more

I have loved this place since my first visit!! I'm here today for a late breakfast and it's crowded and a bit of a wait! The staff is friendly, courteous and the food is delicious read more

Great variety of yummy dishes. I love the handmade ceramic coffee mugs‍. I appreciate that u can get on the waitlist while u r at home through Yelp. read more

I just walked out of this restaurant... There were only two other tables of people..no one was helping me... I sat at the bar and watched my waitress's friend hand her a Starbucks coffee which made me wonder if their coffee was any good... The waitress then disappeared into the kitchen without at least pouring me the coffee I ordered. Then you heard lots of laughter and the waitress never came back out so I left...seems to me like there's no management. Update....I thought it was very nice for the manager to be responsive. However, I'm here on business and don't have time to visit them again and give them another chance....I would like to say to the manager thank you anyway....and please give the waitress another chance...she was at least friendly read more

I love this place! It's becoming a Sunday ritual with my friends and I to come and get brunch after a Saturday night out! Love the servers - and the cinnamon rolls, oh my gosh! One of the "bar" (coffee) ladies was somewhat rude last time I went in but I'll let it slide. The rest of my service has always been great. Just make sure you call ahead or be prepared to wait because I think everyone has the same idea on Sunday's! read more

Very pricey. Poor value. Everything is ok but nothing is worth the price. I had the 11 dollar burger, a cinnamon bun and a beignet. Just ok. Not terrible just expensive for ordinary baked goods. The service was very good read more

The food, staff, and atmosphere was amazing. I ordered the cinnamon roll French toast; if you have a sweet tooth this is definitely what you should go far but everything on their menu looked great and the prices are very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this place. read more

The lobster egg with briei cheese was good. the besignet was good but they was slow with bring out the food. They ran out of grits which was suppose come with my food I had to wait for them to make a whole full and by the time they came I had finished my food the English muffin was not good either read more

Bleh. Not much to say but subpar food. Great service though and decent biscuits. I also haven't visited this joint in about a year so hey things change! Second chances are real people. read more

Nice meal. Biscuits and gravy was lapped up by my daughter plus entire omelette. Pouched eggs soft, lite on a perfectly toasted English muffin. Coffee choices adequate and steaming hot. Will return again, due to positive mannered service and excellent atmosphere. read more

The breakfast was OK. I have had better. The potaoes looked and tasted like they were shaken out of a Costco frozen food bag. The potions were OK, but everything was so plain and lacked character. read more

I have heard alot people rave about this place and I have to be honest the food was sub-par at best. The supreme omelet was overcooked and flavorless. The grits were luke warm and very dry. Really not what I expected for a $15 breakfast. The service was good and our waitress was very attentive. To sum it up I have had better omelets at Ihop and Briggs for half the price. read more

Really tasty food! My wife has a wheat allergy and their gluten-free pancake is her favorite. I personally have eating their Steak and Eggs traditional breakfast and must commend their cooking of the steak. Really executed to perfection. read more

Best brunch place around! They have a huge menu, friendly servers, and a great atmosphere. I had a delicious bloody Mary and a smoked salmon Benedict. I've been dying to go back! We sat at the breakfast bar and the two bartenders were funny, entertaining, and attentive. Definitely recommend to anybody who loves brunch! read more

Today was my first time visiting. It was busy but we expected that for Saturday around 11:30. It took quite a while for our food, but again that was not much of an issue because it was busy. My children enjoyed their dishes. However, I did not enjoy my eggs Benedict. Every time I have had eggs Benedict in the past I cut into the egg and a creamy center flowed. Today both my eggs were overdone to my liking. The center was solid and was more of a hard boiled egg. I ate my food and did not send back. As I said, it took a while to get the food and my kids enjoyed their food so I didn't want to make them wait extra. I am not convinced this was common so I am not giving up and I will return. Hopefully next time will be better. read more

I've heard good things about this place, so I finally tried it out. Usually there's a wait, so get there early if you don't have the patience. We ordered the beignets as recommended by Yelpers, and we were not disappointed; they were delish! Other than that, everything else was pretty average. I ordered the crab omelette, but it was more like crab on top of a dry egg. They were kind enough to redo it, so kudos for good service, but still an underwhelming omelette, as was my friend's. Maybe stick with the pancake or waffle options if you want to play it safe. read more

Their shrimp and grits are out of this world and so are their gourmet muffins sweet and crunchy which sounds weird but I like toasted muffins read more

Food was fantastic. The only thing I didn't understand was that they allow you to grab a spot in line through the yelp app, but the clock doesn't start until you get there. When we checked in well in advance, we were surprised that our wait started at that time. Our 1130 spot didn't get seated until 1210. Other than that fluke, everything was great. read more

Never ever going back. Quality is just ok and prices are ridiculous Used to be great but it has fallen off fast

Terrible experience today. I put my name on the waitlist via the Yelp app. I wrote on the comments that I preferred outdoor because we had a dog. Came and checked in on time. We waited and I finally got a text to be seated. She tried seating us inside and I told her we asked to be seated outside and that were okay waiting for an outside table. 20 minutes go by. Nothing. I wait in line again and finally got to the front. Where people were just walking in and doing whatever at the host stand as there's a line with people patiently waiting. Finally I had to cut someone off that jumped in front of me again to tell them I've been waiting and I got no instructions on what to do next. She said she'd call once a table is ready. We continue to wait and they cleared off a table and SAT ANOTHER PARTY that came AFTER us. I was pretty pissed went back inside and they knew what they did was wrong because they immediately said oh we're just waiting for another table. No apology or anything. That hostess stand is a mess and needs better organization skills and customer service. I shouldn't have to wait over 2 hours when I'm on top of the waiting list because they couldn't get their stuff together. The only saving grace from that place today was the waitress. Terrible experience today. Almost left and went to Stir. read more

I tried to give Their pancakes a chance but every time they disappoint. Not much flavor and they're always too brown on the bottom. I'll just have to move my cheat day for weekends when I'm able to make it to Briggs without being late for work. Oan the bacon is crispy read more

Went here for breakfast on Friday morning. I ordered an omelette. Besides it taking a long time to finally get our food, my omelette was dry and over cooked. I would have returned it but we had someplace to go and my girlfriend had her meal and we didn't want to eat alone. Since we were staying in the adjacent hotel we decided to try it again (but I wasn't going to order an omelette). It was a little busier but we got seated in about 10 minutes. I ordered eggs over easy with sausage and potatoes. It took much longer today to get our food and my eggs were barely warm, sausage patties cold and burnt. Only thing that was warm were the potatoes. My girlfriend had to send back her potatoes because they were not done right. It took over 40 minutes from when we were seated to get our food. Looks like we were 0-2 and won't ever go back. I would not recommend this place for breakfast. read more

Decided to take my grandma here one morning while she was visiting. The food was so dissapointing. I ordered an omelet and grits and the omelet was just dry and tasteless. I also had breakfast potatoes with it and they were burnt and didn't taste good at all. I typically love grits, but I wasn't impressed with these either. I think i've had better grits at Waffle House. I have three stars because the facility itself was nice, parking was a struggle and the waitress tried. I just didn't care for the food, so for that reason I will not go back. read more

California/New Orleans Fusion?? I think not. This was an insult to New Orleans cuisine. Eggs Benedict with broken hollandaise sauce that had no taste at all. Didn't matter how much salt, still bland. Only reason this gets a two is due to service which was great. read more

Great food, great atmosphere although the wait times are pretty long the quality of food and service we received were great. I will definitely revisit this establishment upon returning to NC. read more

This place is so cute and has a warm country kitchen feel. It's located in the beautiful North Hills Mall area in Raleigh. The staff were so sweet and hospitable and we didn't have to wait long to be seated or for our food to arrive. Complimentary beignets are served while you're waiting for your order. I had the crescent city scramble that comes with an English muffin and grits....and you can add a pancake of choice for $2.99 so I chose the peach cobbler pancake which was so fluffy. We will be back next time we're in this area! read more

Another Broken Egg Cafe - American Near Me - Raleigh, North Carolina

Waited over 35 minutes for our food Sunday morning. Endless coffee refills but no food. Finally the manager or someone in authority anyways checked on it for us and we finally got something to eat. It was okay not great, good portions but sausage and scrambled eggs were over cooked. We were comp'd our meal which is why 2* read more

Another Broken Egg Cafe - Our breakfast...empty table!!!! No food - American Near Me - Raleigh, North Carolina

We recently returned here to meet friends for breakfast. The experience was much improved- our server was great (I can't remember his name, hate how terrible I am with names.) and the food everyone had was really good- I got the city grits and biscuit things that I can't spell. Both were excellent. Glad we came back to the north hills location instead of making the haul to Durham- it proved to be worth it. read more

The peach cobbler pancakes and chicken sausage are a wonderful pair. You also get eggs with this plate.

Waited outside 30 minutes... as the hosting staff had no idea what they were doing. 3 open tables outside and they gave us a 45 min time limit. The entire time we waited those 3 tables outside remained open. I went back up to the front and asked what was happening and the girl couldn't even answer me. I give a 1 star because this place has no organization and employees need training on how to deal with high volume times. read more

This place was really good. We were seated immediately and their food was really good. This is a yummy breakfast spot. I had the salmon and crab omelet. There was a little too much cream in it but it was still really filling and really good. Too bad its a 2 hour drive from home or I would come here more often. read more

Was driving by Raleigh, when my wofe was looking for a brunch spot. I have to say that the atmosphere at the Another abroken eggs cafe is pleasant, everyone is all smiles and place is immaculate. I ordered the black bean benedict, i have to say it was very tasty and far exceeded my expectations. The real show stealer was my wifes dish... the Shrimp and Grits, all i have to say is WOW.. the grits were perfectly cooked and the shrimp was of the highest quality. A little on the spicy side but nevertheless, this dish is the show stopper! A must try! Overall i must say the place is very good and a must try if you are in the area. The only reason i didnt give it 5 stars was due to the slow service, otherwise this wouldve been it. read more

Great food. Horrible service. Will go back for the food but took away a star for the really horrible service.

We had two delicious food items- a Belgian waffle and biscuits and gravy. Other food we ordered ( scrambled eggs, potatoes and English muffin) was cold when it arrived and tasted ok, not great. The worst part of eating here was the unfriendly staff. When checking in, the two hostesses were so unfriendly and were obviously hoping we wouldn't put our name on the list. It took a long time for anyone to come to our table but once he did, he was great and friendly- Colbey was our waiter. They kept telling everyone there was a 75 min wait but there were empty tables inside and many empty outside. Just not an inviting, friendly place. We won't go back. read more

Fantastic breakfast with my husband. Sweet and attentive service. Crab omelette was delicious as usual. Husband had the biscuits and gravy.... To die for. We sat outside as it was unseasonably mild for July. Overall great experience... We will definitely be back! read more
