The restaurant is in a very active area of Raleigh with many stores and attractions, so the busy Saturday morning crowd was expected. I went on a reservation and we were seated promptly after our set time. The waiter was very busy but stopped to make time to explain the popular orders and the drink specials for brunch. Everything came out fresh and warm as ordered, while we had plenty refills and check ups to make sure everything was satisfying. Although there were many patrons in the restaurant, it did not seem busy or loud and the dine in experience was enjoyable. Can't wait to go back!

Pancakes = divine. Beignets = hard as a rock. Eggs were delish! It's a good place to come to every once in a while.

I had a quick breakfast at Another Broken Egg Cafe. The hostess was very friendly, however the bartender was cold and dry which wasn't very welcoming. On the other hand, she made this spiked coffee perfectly! I ordered a waffle with chicken sausage and scrambled eggs which was just ok, not bad but nothing unique or special. The restroom was very dirty which was off putting. It's a small location but I came on a weekday morning so there wasn't a big crowd. Parking is also limited, so plan your visit wisely!

We were spoken to upon arriving and seated quickly. The area was quaint and there's a small bar near the dining area. Our server Brittany was literally a rockstar she was very warm, helpful, and empathetic. She also was very knowledgeable about food allergies and the food menu they have. We had their biscuit beignets and they were amazing! Their omelette and baked bacon was also pretty good. If you are in the area please check it out and ask for Brittany !

The pictures tell you everything you need to know about how our experience was here. We ordered the strawberry shortcake french toast and it came with a side of eggs and bacon. For $16 this french toast was absolutely disappointing. The portion was tiny and the taste was absolutely awful. I'm shocked that they even thought it was ok to bring this out to us. We've had frozen french toast that was better than this. They gave us syrup on the side and we had to drench the french toast in it to make it taste somewhat decent and even that didn't help much. We also ordered the brunch jumbalaya and for $16, it was a huge waste of money. The service was ok, but definitely will not be returning. for a breakfast/brunch/lunch spot, this place's food is a major fail.

Another broken egg café is located in North Hills. There's parking on the street as well as a parking lot and the area is very walkable area. I found parking right outside the restaurant. The restaurant was jampacked. When we entered, the hostess looked at her watch even though it was an hour and a half to closing and I said, do we have enough time, she said yeah yeah yeah. She seemed a little bothered that we came in at that time, but she fixed her face and took us to a table to be seated. The floors were kind of dirty, as if they had stopped sweeping up, and I had to ask them to wipe down the table again. It took longer than usual for a server to come to us. He did apologize when he got there and took our drink Orders. He came back and took our food orders. Our drinks took a while to get there and he apologize for that. The food was OK. the service was OK but the restaurant definitely could do with a manager that stays on top of the staff when it comes to timeliness and cleanliness. The gentleman at the table next to us was complaining to the server and then the manager that the bathrooms were filthy and the toilet was running over so I did not use the restroom. Thank God for hand sanitizer. I really like the bar area. I probably should've sat there and ate. , I'm gonna be back in that area a couple of times in the next coming months so hopefully that restaurant improves

The focaccia here is extraordinary. A thin, crispy, tasty treat. Must try. I do not like that the menus and countertops were sticky, and that my poached eggs arrived cold (they didn't even ask how I wanted them - soft, medium, hard). Kinda gross to have cold eggs. But the rest of the breakfast was fine. Tasty sausage, bacon, ham that was standard breakfast fare. Service was good, bartender was nice but curt.

I love Another Broken Egg! It's been a favorite since moving to NC a few years ago. The food is just so good. Seasonal menu always has something you want to try. Service has always been good when i've gone. I love their coffee/tea cups. Currently they have a Honey Lemon Blueberry French Toast on the menu. The lemon drizzle is really good, I wish they put more of it on top. 6 pieces was a bit much for me but if you are eating with others you can share. Add Another Broken Egg to your brunch rotation or go for a visit if you are staying in the area.

everything was great we were told there was a 30min our seats was ready in 10min 15min But we decided to just eat at the bar. shabazz at the bar was wonderful, entertaining and very friendly. greg the GM helped us understand the menu. we got the shrimp and grits without the sausages 10/10 and a spinach omelette which was seasoned well. we will definitely be back!

Cute spot in North Hills. Our server was awesome and gave great recommendations. I was a little sad that they didn't have a latte or oat milk. I settled with their coffee because they had hazelnut creamer and it was surprisingly good. I went with the Cinnamon Roll French Toast and my husband went with the hash Brown Benedict. Everything was delicious. Definitely would go back.

It's been an interesting journey--because while I absolutely respect the tradition, my palate has definitely evolved over the years toward lighter, more elevated, visually beautiful food. That said, sometimes you just have to lean in and experience the classics. Tupelo Honey had been on my list for a while, so during a recent work trip to Raleigh-Durham, I decided to check it off. The location is in a very nice, upscale area--one of those shopping districts where, if you see a Whole Foods nearby, you know the neighborhood is going to be polished, safe, and easy to navigate. Parking was simple in a lot across the street, and since I had a reservation, I was seated quickly on the patio, which was lovely and comfortable. For starters, I ordered the "biscuits for a cause," which is a nice touch knowing the proceeds support employee relief and development funds. They were warm and classic Southern biscuits--exactly what you'd expect. For my entrée, I went with the honey-dusted fried chicken (dark meat), a true Southern staple. It was well prepared, flavorful, and satisfying, especially if you're in the mood for something hearty and traditional. I also tried a cocktail called "The Debutante," which was pleasant and refreshing, and finished the meal with the butter pecan cheesecake for dessert. Overall, the meal was good--solid, reliable Southern comfort food--but if I'm being completely honest, it wasn't particularly memorable for me. I was traveling for work and dining on a per diem, so it checked the box for a dependable dinner in a convenient location. As a larger regional chain, it feels a bit like a rite of passage when you're spending time in the Southeast--something you try once to understand the landscape. Bottom line: Tupelo Honey delivers classic Southern comfort food in a polished, accessible setting. Service was smooth, the patio was pleasant, and everything was executed well. For me personally, it was a good experience--but not one I'd necessarily go out of my way to repeat. Still, as I continue eating my way through the Carolinas and beyond, I'm glad I gave it a try.
