My first time at this location. This location is larger than most other locations and very nicely decorated and well lit. I arrived about 1:10. There was no one at the front to seat me and it took a long time for someone to finally come to the front. After being seated I was told someone would be over shortly. There was another long wait. I finally was able to give my order. The food came out in a reasonable time, but I still did not have my drink!! I definitely felt unwelcome here. I feel like they were trying to make me leave so they would be able to close quicker. I had a coupon for a free entree but when I got the check, there was 20% taken off, not hbd whole entree. I pointed this out and another employee had to come and fix it. Not a good experience at all, but the food was good and came as ordered. Will not come to this location again.

Tried out a new breakfast and lunch spot near my friend's place - because vacation calories don't count, but eventually you gotta get back to basics. We both went for the Breakfast BLT, which hit the spot after a week of nonstop vacation indulgence. Just a heads-up: there's also an "Egg Up BLT" on the lunch menu, which sounds like it should have an egg but doesn't. (It's actually the lunch version and is named after the restaurant. Confusing, right?) We requested our eggs runny (and sadly, they were not) but the sandwich still came through with all the right vibes: savory, satisfying, and exactly what we needed to get back on track... sort of. Service was super fast and genuinely friendly. The place is very clean too.

Hello friendly neighborhood diner! Think local Denny's. Atmosphere light and bright. Definitely giving off coastal/seaside vibes. Eggs up Grill is a chain, so no worries there. The staff deserves a 10 out of 10. Welcoming, warm, and checked on us consistently. We loved the management and the staff! Solid food. My biggest gripe would be food temperature, as food was lukewarm- not hot. However, the food is delivered promptly, so there is that. This isn't gourmet dining. On this particular dining experience, I overheard a customer requesting maple syrup. This isn't that kind of establishment. Expect a solid dining experience at an affordable price point. This location is pretty new. Inside is bright and cheerful. Ashley our server was nice, service was pretty slow- she may have had too many tables? We were there over an hour- our water was eventually filled 3 times. Food i had the fried chicken steak, 2 eggs over easy, grits and rye bread. The eggs were cooked correctly, the chicken steak and grits were ok not much flavor at all the gravy was bland. The rye was a mix of rye and pumpernickel it was good (too much butter) I also had the grilled blueberry muffin - that was worth getting! It was crunchy and soft- the flavors were great.

I was so glad this spot opened, I needed another brunchest type spot near me. On a morning post a sleep study @ Sleepworks I awoke hungry and popped in. It was maybe my 3rd time and gladly the food was still impressive.

Really cute little breakfast spot. The staff got us seated quickly and the our server was there quickly. Ordered a "build your own" omelette and the "classic bennie" both were good. The omelette was nicely thin with excellent filling (sausage and two cheeses), the classic eggs Benedict had nicely poached eggs and the Hollandaise sauce was good. The eggs also had a nice subtle spice in the Hollandaise which added a nice layer of flavor. My only concern was that the English muffin wasn't actually toasted, which sort of leaves you feeling like you're eating under-baked, doughy bread. Just showing the muffin the heating element in the toaster and then slapping an egg and sauce sort of ruins the experience. We waited probably 20 minutes for our food, it wasn't overly busy so undercooked/toasted English muffins is sort of no bueno. So one star off for that

If you ever have that urge for an eggs and bacony/pancakey kind of meal between 6am and 2pm, I recommend this place on the corner of W. Millbrook and Glenwood! First time in, ambiance welcoming, service good and the food hits the spot! Never ever to be confused with several other breakfast 'joints' - definitely several cuts above! Enjoy! We will always return when we have that 'urge'!!

Highly recommend Eggs Up Grill for a decent, nutritious brunch. We have visited their other locations several times and recently tried their North Raleigh location (Glenwood/Millbrook intersection). This order I chose the chorizo sampler, usually we go for a bowl or a pancake. As usual I could not finish my meal in one sitting and finished the rest later. This time I ordered a blueberry muffin that had been recommended to me by a regular. The sliced, buttered, then toasted muffin was delicious!

I found this spot on Google, and my husband and I decided to give it a try. We're so glad we did! The staff was incredibly welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious. Our waitress, Destiny, was so kind and attentive. We'll definitely be coming back -- and bringing friends with us!

This space was farmhouse cute! The waiter and manager were very polite. The waitress noticed where new and offered us croissant fried donuts which were very good! We ordered the Grand Classic. The food came out quick and was hot. The pancakes and eggs reminded me of IHOP and everything was very well prepared.

This location is near Glenwood Ave on Millbrook Rd. Near the Laundry Mat. Not a big parking lot but enough for now. They are open 6am to 2pm, daily. This restaurant was phenomenal. Very clean, organized, and friendly. The decor was so cute. The restaurant has a room that I believe will seat a larger party or offer secluded seating with windows and an opening to the dining room.. I'm going to ask about it on my next visit. Very spacious. I love restaurants where we're not sitting super close to other tables. They offer a diner type of feel with a counter to sit at as well. They have tables with chairs, booths, and counter seating. The menu was a nice variety. Oh my goodness. I wanted to try so much. lol. I already know what I'm ordering next week. This time, I ordered a bowl with home fries, onions, green peppers, turkey bacon, and eggs. I had the eggs on the side & gave them away. I wasn't able to swap them out. The others in my party had the crème brûlée French toast and cinnamon French toast. EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS!!! We sampled each other's entrees. I had to thank the chef personally b/c the food was so good. We were the last party in the restaurant so we talked with a few employees. I loved the vibe. The environment was so pleasant, like they enjoy their job & being apart of a wonderful establishment. Everything was reasonably priced. Average entree was between $11-16. Ashley was amazing. She had great suggestions on entrees & she told us the donuts were good. We ordered the donuts as our appetizer. YES MA'AM!!! They were so delicious. Wonderful suggestion Ashley! I am definitely returning. This place is close to me and on my route to work. I plan on being a regular. LoL. KUDOS TO THIS NEW BUSINESS and the staff that was there on Wed. 11/27 between 1:30-2:00 pm.

Turkey avocado BLT they sent me without lettuce and tomato. It wasn't ordered this way.

We had three different beers from this brewery, one in which appears to be no longer in production. The discontinued one was a pale ale by the name of Peacemaker. It was refreshing and enjoyable to have. Flavor features with this beer are that typically seen with a pale ale which are hoppy, malty and sweet. The beer is very light bodied which is nice and very smooth. Unfortunate that it's out of production. The other two beers we had are still being made. One was Shotgun Betty which is a Hefeweizen. Not bad but sometimes I struggle with Hefes and the strong banana clove flavor which was the case here. It was good that it was light bodied like most Hefes are and smooth also. The final beer was the Sweet Josie Brown Ale which I think was my favorite. The sweet, malty and coffee flavors are very enjoyable and like the prior two beers a nice smooth body to this fine dark beer. I am glad I recalled this brewery experience as I felt it was important to post the beers we had and what we thought of them!

We followed by sharing three entrees: 1) the Wisconsin grilled cheese sandwich (swap sourdough for wheat bread): good basic grilled cheese, the apple slices were thin and not super crispy, I didn't think they added more than a smidgen of flavor, 2) shrimp and grits: not as cheesy as many, with a little kick to the shrimp, and 3) classic mac & cheese. Classic, but also basic: next time I'll go for something more interesting. We finished off with the banana pudding, which was disappointing: many slices of hard, flavorless fruit. We split on the whipped topping: I thought it was good, fam said it tasted like Cool Whip. Service was good, server asked if I wanted a refill when I started getting low.

She was welcoming, attentive, and handled everything smoothly, even as a few more parties came in while she was the only one serving at the time. One thing I really appreciated was that she let us know upfront what items were out of stock before we even looked at the menu. That level of transparency is huge and makes the experience so much better. My son ordered a slider with fries from the kids' menu. It comes with just one slider, so I ordered a second, definitely the right call. He enjoyed it, and the fries were cooked well, just a little on the salty side for our taste (ketchup helped balance that out). I had the shrimp tacos. It's packed and perfect portion for lunch. The shrimp, pineapple slaw, and chipotle mayo was a nice mix. The restaurant was clean (including the bathrooms). The location is also a plus, super close to the Art Museum, which makes it a great stop before or after visiting. Overall enjoyable, and I'd come back, especially to try more of the menu and the drinks.
