Great staff! Huge crowds and really long wait but Felicity, the host, did a great job at keeping her composure when having to let customers know the situation and was very kind when seating them. Ashely, the waitress, really took care of us during our visit. She offered great suggestions and when the wrong plate was provided to us, she made sure to make it right in a timely manner and compensated us by removing the beignets from our bill. Hayden offered great suggestions on things to do in the area since we weren't from around and overall, it's the staff that would make us come back. The food itself was delicious as well and very comforting inside. read more

Great service! Daniel Z. was a really good waiter!! Tried their new appetizer...(for free) and the crab cake was great too!

I visited this establishment several times before and today I must say the service was subpar. Myself and my friend ordered the shrimp and grits without any sausage and made sure we emphasized no sausage as we don't eat meat however when some other gentleman brought both our meals they had sausage in both. The other two people in our party received their food with no issues. We attempted on several occasions to get our waiters attention to no avail. We were finally able to get a manager to stop and explained to her what happened. She stated that she would take care of the problem. About ten minutes later our server finally stopped to see if I needed more coffee and I said no but it would be nice to have some thing to eat. After about an additional 30 minutes of waiting we finally received our food. The manager did comp both our orders however it would have been nice to eat at the same time as the others in our party. read more

The service wasn't GREAT but OK. I had the Floridian omelette and it was one of the best I have had. I also added the pepper sauce which made it even better. Very generous amount if crabmeat on top. I will definitely return when back in the area. read more

Love this place since I found the cool location outside of Tallahassee, FL. This one is not nearly as interesting but still great food. Biggest problem today was the frigid deft coming into the dining area. Not sure if other seats were as bad but our table for two was very uncomfortable. It could easily be improved if door was set to close a bit faster. As is, it stands open for a long time every time someone uses it. Brrrrrrr! read more

The mimosa is deelish and the food is yummy! Our visit was a little blah because a lot of staff called out that morning so they were running behind but the waitress was really sweet. I will return. read more

The omelette with shrimp and fish was delicious! their coffee mugs are cute and their outdoor sitting is pretty nice.

We've eaten at this place before. But, today it just wasn't as good. We were seated right away. Which was really good. The food was just OK. Nothing fantastic. The server wasn't very attentive. Several times my husband had to wait with an empty glass. And one time there were people at the door waiting to be seated. And they had to go to the bar and ask if they had to sear themselves. It looks like it's time to find another place for breakfast. read more

Worst restaurant experience I've ever had. Waited an hour and a half to be seated even though we arrived at designated time on Yelp app. We waited 30 minutes for a waiter to come to our table. After waiting more than an hour to receive our food only half the table's orders arrived. We were told the kitchen splits orders and had to wait another 20 minutes for the rest of the tables order. The waiter took an extremely long time getting our tickets and running the cards. DO NOT COME TO THIS RESTAURANT! read more

My omelet was so-so but the kids' pancakes and french toast were excellent and great sized portions. Another Broken Egg is convenient for us so I'm sure we will be back but I'll stick to the pancakes next time. read more

It was a good breakfast place. Cute inside. The food was good. I liked my salmon a lot and my grilled vegetables were good. My husband got beignets, which were super good and a lot came with the order. He also got the black bean eggs benedict, which was okay. The homestyle potatoes were like french fries, so those could have been better. My husband also got a waffle with bananas, which was also okay. I would come back - it was fun and good. read more

DON'T BOTHER COMING ON A SUNDAY WITHOUT CALLING FIRST! No reservation but you can call ahead to put your name on the list, been a few times and instead of the 1-2 hours wait, it was a 15 mins wait top. So much love for this place, hard to steer away from my favorites and try new things. Great atmosphere and great staff. read more

Took some friends from out of town here and we're super disappointed with everything. We ordered mimosas and they came out with rotten strawberries on the glasses, the waitress was terrible, and we waited a long time only for the food to come out cold and burnt. As we were waiting for 20 min to get a check we smelled something burning in the kitchen. After we finally received our check, we were walking out and saw another customers food coming out of the kitchen. Everything was black and burnt but it was still served to the table. Over priced, especially for this type of service! Won't be back! read more

We enjoyed our breakfast at Another Broken Egg. My husband and I shared the biscuits and gravy and the lakeshore scramble. The biscuit and gravy didn't really do anything for either of us. I wouldn't order it again. It just wasn't seasoned the way I was expecting or liked. The lakeshore scramble was good but it wasn't anything too special. If you are looking for a good, simple, hearty breakfast this is the place to go. The service was excellent although they were short staffed. read more

I love having breakfast or brunch here. There's a good selection of options for whatever mood you are in. The cinnamon bun is decadent!

Great spot for breakfast! Our server was hilarious and delivered exceptional service. I enjoyed my Bloody Mary and my eggs Benedict with crab ! read more

I love coming here for brunch! Service is quick, friendly and and the food is exceptional. The price is well worth the visit. I would recommend anyone to eat here for a nice dining experience. read more

Outstanding food, service and location. I wish the place was bigger so the wait would not be so long every time we want to go there.

Let me start out by saying the service was eggsellent. Pun intended. However that was literally the only good thing. Seriously except for maybe the eggs; they were good. I really didn't know you could mess up a pancake but apparently you can. The pancakes tasted like a piece of soggy bread with a splash of vanilla and a sprinkle of sugar. The sausage was very bad. Tasted more like ground beef with parsley flakes in it. I see now why this place offers alcoholic beverages.. It's so you can forget how bad the food tastes. If they could somehow make the food as good as the service then that would be awesome but until then I'm staying away from here. read more

Super friendly staff and the food was great, I had the French toast and it was yummy. I would definitely return when in the area again.

I've been to the one in Cary and never a great experience but I wanted to give this one a chance. First off you always have to flag somebody down just to get their attention to order coffee I sat for 10 minutes and nobody even acknowledged I was seated. Then it took another 10 minutes for my son to get his coffee. With so much wait staff running around and a dead restaurant you think customer service would be on par. Met my son and his fiance before a long trip to Michigan this morning for breakfast. Two of us ordered Huevos rancheros he ordered Belgian waffles. All three of our over medium eggs were very overcooked solid yolks eggs appeared burnt. Huevos rancheros was disgusting. Instead of rolled up flour tortillas they are burnt to a crisp I think they were flour tortillas it was hard to tell they were dark dark brown and black. Sad I didn't take a picture. Brown hard crispy flavorless soaking in oil. I sent mine back ordered turkey sausage ,eggs over medium. Received again overcooked over medium eggs might as well call them hard boiled. Turkey sausage appeared a little gray tasted Raw. Coffee is $3.25 More money than Starbucks. I will admit the only thing tasty the Bold coffee was halfway decent. Not worth three and a quarter. That's 54 bucks I'm never going to get back. The only saving grace Josh was a great waiter. What a shame because this is in North Hills and for the price the food should be better. read more

My favorite menu item is the lobster and Brie omelette. I am addicted to this and can not imagine ordering anything else off the menu. However I have tasted some of their other menu items and they are equally delicious. read more

Had a long wait of about an hour. Service was very good and quick once seated. Food was ok. We ordered chicken and waffles. Which was cooked perfectly and had a great sauce. Also had the crabcake benedict, was kind of disappointed in the size of the crabcake. Had an irish bloody mary that was a bit too spicy, but got the job done... i would come back, but would definitely call in ahead for seating. read more

My first time at Another Broken Egg Cafe in North Hills they are so friendly and very attentive Charmaine was the hostess she has a beautiful smile and she recommended the shrimp and grits delicious Rebecca was our waitess lovely They are awesome will return read more

Great food, but the service is subpar and the kitchen takes forever on Sunday at brunch time. Cinnamon roll french toast is on point.

The food is slightly overpriced but I guess they have to do that since they're only open few hours. Be prepared to order everything at once because getting your sever to come back to your table is gonna take at least 10 minutes. read more

Let me just say , I don't eat grits at all ever. However as event i had the opportunity to taste " The City Grits" at Another Broken Egg. There were wonderful, I was not even aware I was eating grits because the gritty consistency was not there. they were warm, bursting of flavor and felt more like the most comforting mash potatoes I had ever had without tasting like potatoes. You must try them! read more

The Bananas Foster Pancakes are so so good. I also love the Floridian Omelette. You must try it!!!

Never disappointed by the food here! The wait is definitely worth it! If you don't want to wait... don't hesitate to sit at the bar w/Hayden as your server! They have a unique menu of mimosas - I loved the mango kiwi mimosa! His easy disposition and sweet personality make it the best seat in the restaurant. read more

Been here twice now and the service was great each time, even when they were busy which they usually are considering it's North Hills. The spiked cold brew is off the chain, clean place, food was fast, everyone was very friendly and we had great conversation with the staff. read more

I gave this place a second chance before I wrote a review. The food-I've had us just not good. I've only had breakfast twice so I can't say how the rest is. Both tines with different servers, they don't seem to listen if you ask for a simple change, like no cheese on something. If you have any dietary issues or allergies-be careful that they actually get your order as requested. Both tines the order was incorrect. There are healthy choices but the flavor is odd. read more

Very slow service and cold food. Very disappointing for such a nice place. Took forever to get food then it was cold. The scrambled eggs were dry and grits were only slightly warm. Not hot. read more

I have been to both this and the Morrisville/Cary locaiton... but were excelent... the wait staff was efficient and attentive without being overbearing, the restaurant was comfortable, and the food was great! There is generally a line and waiting period to get a table, but I have never experienced more than a 10 minute delay.... The food is tasty, well prepared and the selections are decidedly upscale compared to the traditional diner fare breakfasts, and the cost is a couple bucks higher than the usual breakfast joint, but it's nothing astronomical... You wont be disappointed.... read more

Super sub par. Pretty poor service, long wait times, unhappy staff. And mediocre food at best! 10/10 would NOT return.

SO DELICIOUS. I had the blueberry lemon pancakes and they were amazing. All of our food was delicious. I will definitely be going back here! Our waitress was very attentive and a pleasure to talk with. read more

I had the chicken and waffles the chicken was well seasoned but kinda dry. The service was slow which was surprising bc they were not busy. But the flavors of the waffles and syrup good. read more

This is the Taj Mahal of breakfast! The eggs Benedict and city grits are to die for and the French toast is out of this world! My son cleaned everyone's plate before we left ;) All of the staff is super friendly and service is fast. We will definitely be back! read more

This restaurant is one of our favorites and we visit often. The food is delicious, with a great variety. The wait staff and the folks who greet you are wonderful. A huge call-out to server Ben, who is a major asset for the business. We frequent there on Saturday mornings, and Ben is really fast, really funny, and gets things right. The restaurant can be a little busy on weekend mornings, but then, isn't that the case with all great restaurants? It is worth a short wait. Their bacon is magnificent, the best I have ever had, if you are into being a omnivore (which I am). Yvonne, Donnie and Stephanie also do a super job of waiting tables. The booths are comfortable, and the décor is bright and sunny. Their colorful branded coffee mugs are an interesting source of speculation, "Which one will we get today?" Great service, great food. What's not to like? We'll be back again and again. And no, we are not paid to say this. read more

Another Broken Egg Cafe - Ben at Another Broken Egg Café. Typically cheerful! Go Ben. - American Near Me - Raleigh, North Carolina

Amazing place to eat. Had a long wait but were very polite and even comped us with free food. Try the biscuit beignets and house coffee.

This was some of the worst food I have ever had! The eggs tasted like they were powdered. The guacamole was old and the grits were completely tasteless (and cold). Will not be returning. To be fair, the manager apologized for the subpar dining experience and took the cost of my plate off of the bill. read more
