Love this place for breakfast. Using the waitlist on Yelp was very helpful. Checked in about 20 minutes before I got there on a Sunday and already 20 parties ahead of us. However by time I got there only 10 parties and a short 15 minute wait. The food was delicious. I included pictures below. I had one of the limited option pancakes that were infused with coffee and topped with Irish cream and strawberries. If this is your first time there let them know and they give you an order of their beignets with orange marmalade for free. Not as good as New Orleans but definitely worth getting. Lastly, Katie S our server was amazing. Offered us additional items, refilled our drinks multiple times and just when we started to get antsy for our food she let us know it would be coming out soon and sure enough it did. I had passed this restaurant a few times and figured the name was interesting enough to give it a shot! The line was out the door but to my delight, moved quickly! Our waitress was Heather and she was AMAZING! I ordered the Traditional Day Starter- the eggs were cooked to perfection, bacon baked deliciously, and home fries were on point. I coupled my Saturday morning feast with a mimosa that was made with a generous amount of champagne- yum!! I will definitely be adding this restaurant to my list of top breakfast joints to frequent on the weekends. First time here. Food is good, but on the pricey side. Service was good and the wait was only about 15 minutes, it is summer in FL and most all the tourists are back up north. I had the Banana Foster French Toast with nuts, whipped cream and enough sauce to OD on the sugar. Comes with 2 pieced of bacon and eggs for $14. Wife got the Floridian (eggs with crab on top) with city grits and toast for $12. Not sure the OJ is fresh squeezed like the menu says, two glasses for $7.78. Total bill of $36.11 before tip. I've gone to this location a total of 3 times. The first time I ordered the chicken and waffles and thought it was really good. The coffee however tasted awful. It had a bitter burnt taste. The waitress said it was the brand they use and some people don't care for it. The second time I ordered the Shrimp and City Grits. LOVED it. This time the coffee tasted pretty good which lead me to believe that it was in fact burnt at my visit 2 weeks prior. The third visit I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak and biscuits. It was a very small portion but that didn't seem to matter since I didn't want to finish it anyway... it was terrible. To make it worse... once again the coffee was burnt. I'm not sure how long they keep the coffee there but it needs to be changed out more often. read more

While visiting from out of town I went here with my boyfriend and it was such an amazing place from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. Excellent service, we had a very friendly waiter who was so helpful with the menu and showing me the gluten free options, which there were many of. The food was delicious! I got gluten free pancakes with fresh fruit and side of potatoes, I ate it so fast i forgot to even take a picture. I can't rave enough about this place! We decided to hold out monthly mommy & me brunch here on a Saturday morning, one of their busiest days/times. I made a reservation with the manager that Friday since it would be a larger party. They were VERY accommodating for our party of mommies and babies. They called that morning to touch base and were very helpful in coordinating the baby slings and high chairs. Thru carved out a nice space for us in the back of the restaurant. Let me start with, this place is a neighborhood gem. My wife and I went this morning for breakfast and it was from start to finish,amazing. There was plenty of parking and we were greeted at the door with a smile and a friendly hello. We were seated immediately. After waiting an unusually long time for a waitress, Libby approached us to ask if we had been helped. When we told her no, she immediately apologized and took our order. She then returned with an order of beignets and told us they were on the house. I had the French toast and my wife had the biscuits and gravy. The food (as always) was great. The manager stopped by to make sure everything was ok and to apologize for us having to wait when we first arrived. He then offered to pay for our entire breakfast! We explained to him that that was not necessary, but very much appreciated. What a cool thing to do! It was a real comfort knowing they care about you and your experience. I've been to this restaurant several times, at several locations. While I don't typically love chain restaurants, there are always going to be the standouts - and this is one of them. Today, we were offered a special holiday menu, which included several Thanksgiving/Christmas inspired dishes. We ended up trying a Thanksgiving Benedict and the City Grits Soufflé Crawfish Etoufee. Both were outstanding in completely different ways. The Bennie included two stuffing bottoms, that had been molded and crisped into just the right size. Next came the turkey, cranberry relish, and a poached egg on top of each tower - with an herbed hollandaise sauce to top it all off. If was honestly so good, the flavor combinations were perfect, and there was so much that I was only able to eat one of them. The other dish started with a grits soufflé on the bottom (which included House made grits, mushrooms and cheese), then it was covered with a generous helping of the crawfish etouffe. The grits in this dish are by no means plain - they are served perfectly seasoned, and with just the right amount of mushrooms and cheese. I've had other dishes there, and they were all equally good. This place is F I R E ! I've been here twice already. First off, it's always crowded yet the service is great. Shout out to Samantha who has been my boyfriend & I's waitress twice now and even recognized us! She is awesome. What is unique about this place is that they have spiked cold brew!!! Can I get a HECK YA!! The first time I came here I tried the spiked salted Carmel cold brew. It wasn't as sweet as I wanted it and I wanted the salt flavor to come though more, although it was still good. The second time I came here I ordered the Spiked Vanilla Cold Brew, which will now be my drink of choice here! It was excellent and had a delicious cream topping on top which makes it. Just typing this up makes me want one! My boyfriend tried the original Bloody Mary which we both agreed was too spicy for our taste (and we LOVE spicy!). It had a beautiful presentation though with bacon, celery, etc! It was also a little thick for our taste as well. For our meals, I've tried the broken egg biscuit sandwich and an omelet. The sandwich felt like it was missing something, it was good but tasted a bit on the dry side. The omelet on the other hand, was to die for! I got the veggie delight omelet and added ham. It was PERFECT! the cheese melted in your mouth and was the perfect blend of ingredients. I will for sure order this again next time and the ham added an extra twist on it too. Lets start with the 1 star, it would be less if I could. New Years eve we had a retirement party and many of our friends and family were from out of town to celebrate. So of course the next morning you want to gather with the out of towners but you have to feed them. We called and confirmed days prior that your restaurant would be opened early, 8 am to pick up breakfast for 20 people. We placed the order and scheduled the pickup for 1/1/2022, 8 am. We get to the restaurant and there is no one there except other patrons looking to pickup their orders. There were no lights on, no note on the door, no one answered the phone. We were FURIOUS, we have 20 people waiting for breakfast and nothing!! We were able to leave a voicemail, and the manager finally called us back with an apology but that didn't feed anyone. I have been to this location twice and on my third trip, decided it'll be my last. We were a party of 3. I ordered a cranberry mimosa, one ordered a plain water, the other ordered water and lemons on the side. The waitress came to the table and brought waters for everyone and said the bartender is making my mimosa. No lemons. She left before we could say anything. Time went by and no mimosa. Did she bring lemons? Nope. After a long hiatus of the waitress, she finally walked by (without even acknowledging us) and we had to holler to get her attention. I asked about the mimosa and she started to walk away, when we had to remind her of the lemons that never came. I then asked since it takes so long to get one mimosa, I'd like to put in another order. She was very rude and off putting. I had brought guests who had not eaten at this establishment before. Solid little spot for breakfast. On Sunday's there's typically a short wait so when you check in with the hostess you get a buzzer or give them a cell phone where they'll not only text you when your table is ready but you can also check your place in line. I love it,works great! There's both inside and outside seating. Outside is covered in the large patio and is also pet friendly. The place is also very clean, not sterile but noticeably clean. The original location is in Mandeville, Louisiana which is across the lake from New Orleans. I only eat Cajun food from an authentic New Orleans chef or restaurant and these guys are legit.... We started with coffee while we checked out the menu. Their menu is not your typical breakfast menu but don't worry you'll find something you'll love. We settled on the Stan's Mardi Gras which is an omelette filled with crawfish, shrimp and andouille sausage plus bell peppers then topped with a tomato hollandaise sauce and sprinkled with chopped tomatoes and green onions. I'm not a fan of hollandaise sauce so I asked for it on the side which is where it stayed, lol. Served in a small ceramic skillet with breakfast potatoes and an English muffin. The omelette was quite flavorful and tasty. The service was a little spotty but we weren't in a rush so not a huge deal. Prices are fair at $24 for the meal, 2 coffees and a glass of milk. We like this spot because it's a good ride on the Harley for a Sunday morning ride. read more

My wife and I sat at the bar and ordered omelets and a Bloody Mary. 15 minutes after we ordered, a man sat next to me and ordered the same omelet as me (The Lucie). Maybe 20 minutes passed, and the bartender served the man his omelet, (I thought it was mine) the bartender looked at me and said, sorry, your wife ordered the Florida omelet so your orders should be out shortly. The man completely finished his meal and we were still waiting for ours. We waited 10 more minutes and gave up. I asked the bartender for the check, she said, sorry, I don't know what happened and still had the nerve to charge us for the drinks after we waited for an hour. It was their screw up their extremely poor customer service, we waited for an hour and never got served our meal. This is a breakfast omelet, not a complicated 5 star 3 or 4 course meal. The thing I like the most about this place is more so the atmosphere than the food. I've been here twice and recently had a seasonal harvest skillet with brussel sprouts sweet potatoes, onions, ham, and two eggs any style. I chose this because I really love brussel sprouts, however this dish should have been like a little more seasoned. The sweet potatoes could have had more flavor and crisp, and the brussel sprouts tasted "basically" boiled. It was not a terrible meal, but I wouldn't order it again. I had the salmon eggs benedict, I can't remember the name but I rather enjoyed that on my first visit. Sounds silly, but the thing I enjoy the most is the cute country mugs that they serve the coffee in. When it comes to breakfast not on the AVE,, definitely a fun and cute spot.
