So time to update - it's back up! The last 4 times have been great so back up with my review! I had the breakfast sliders - cheese omelet w bacon on mini Belgium Waffles with breakfast potatoes. Very tasty! My mom had the veggie omelet with fruit and said it was OK. The iced coffee is hot coffee poured over ice so it's pretty watery tasting. Today the service was great but usually it's less then stellar. Now here we are 2 months later - the biscuit was way over cooked as was my sons pancakes. So I dropped my stars... My sons pancakes were very small (this is most likely why they were overlooked). Service today was excellent! Loved our waitress but I don't see myself coming back soon. We had a feeling this place was going to be good since there was a wait for the table. We heard other people complaining about the wait to be sat down, but honestly it wasn't that bad. They communicate well with you while you're waiting to be sat, you know exactly where you're at in line and times via phone app, AND you can get delicious togo drinks while you wait! Such a cool idea! When we sat down and took a gander at the menu, everything sounded so delicious! In fact, I couldn't decide, so my wife ordered for me (chicken and waffles), she got one of the Benedict's, and we split the meals. I started with a spicy Bloody Mary. Definitely one of the best Bloody Mary drinks I have ever had! My wife's spiked coffee was really good too! The wait staff was super attentive, the food was incredible, the drinks were awesome! As incredible as everything was, our service was much better! The manager, Bobby was sure to visit and connect with every single table. We just finished a fantastic meal here. Our server's name was Jenna and she was awesome! When she greeted us we informed her that we were vegan and she immediately gave us several options and basically said that we could veganize almost anything on the menu. There are two things on the menu that are actually vegan. In the end we both ordered Huevos Rancheros without the eggs, cheese or sour cream. It was delicious. Shortly after our meals arrived. Tron, a super nice manager, came by to check on us and see how our service and food was. I assumed that it was because we had a special order, but then I realized that he was going to all the tables and checking on everybody. I was very impressed. There was a large pile of vomitus in the rear passenger door area of the handicapped parking spot at the front door. Tried to eat here but they are super rude and unaccommodating. Called over an hour in advance to make a pre-reservation and was told they would put a table together and it would be ready at 11 when we arrived. (The wait time was only 30 minutes at the time.) We were 1st on the list for over 30 minutes while they sat others. When we asked when they would seat us they very rudely said they "didn't know" because they sat someone at one of our tables 20 minutes ago while they were supposed to be setting it up for us? I get it that it's a Sunday at brunch time, but that's also why we planned ahead. And saying "I have a lot going on I don't know" isn't great customer service. Whoever the blondish guy was who is seating people right now is the reason a group of 12 won't be spending their money here-today or in the future. Trying to see when you'll be seated when it's 30 minutes past your told time is a normal question. He seemed very emotional and should work on controlling his emotions. We also offered to take a couple of tables outside and make it work and the staff was SO unprofessional and unaccommodating we have no choice but to leave. ABE isn't worth this. Wouldn't recommend. I was here for the very first time today as I met a colleague for breakfast. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in, the atmosphere has a "country/farm house" atmosphere to it. I was greeted by a friendly hostess and was seated inside right away. They do have quite a different selection of breakfast foods. For instance, they have a lobster omelette which my friend ordered and he said it was delicious. They also have other options for breakfast style foods with crabmeat and different cheeses and vegetables in them. I had ordered the supreme omelette and it was great! I will definitely be going back and ordering that again. For breakfast they also have French toast and pancake options. Some may say that it's a little overpriced for breakfast as really nothing on the menu is below $10. But every once in a while it's a nice treat. We went here for the first time on last Saturday at about 9am. We were seated quickly and the waitress was quick and efficient. I ordered the the Veggie Delight omelet but I asked for American cheese instead of goat cheese. They had no american cheese, I forgot what kind of sliced cheese they had but I got that. Then the menu stated it came with an english muffin, I asked if they had bread instead and ordered the rye toast lightly toasted and dry and paid the extra $1.99 to for the city grits. My husband ordered the Huevos Rancheros. The food comes with 1 piece of burnt toast, I asked the lady to please give me a lightly toasted rye, but I have also never been somewhere that they only serve you one piece of toast. The cheese was also 1 slice on top of the omelet, nothing inside so it was very dry. My husbands Tortilla was so burnt it was dark brown. The services was good, the food was bad. Wont be going back. The city grits was the only good thing I would go back for, but grits aren't a good enough reason to re visit them. read more

I've had the following items here and they're amazing: Tomatillo Bloody Mary - Delicious and refreshing Spiked Nutella Iced Coffee - I get this every time I go. It's so delicious and comes with bacon and a beignet Blueberry lemon mimosa- so delicious and refreshing Peach mimosa- my friend had this last weekend and loved every sip of it! Huevos rancheros-my boyfriend's uncle devoured it. Lobster and brie omelette-unbelievably amazing. Must try! Quinoa Bowl- I get this almost every time I go. Has fruit, quinoa, granola, coconut crusted banana and a side of coconut milk to pour over. Carne asada tots- had these off of a special menu last week. They are beyond!!! Decided to take my husband to the Delray Beach location of Another Broken Egg for our date day breakfast. The food and service were both excellent. Our server, Kim was AMAZING; she was pleasant, attentive and friendly. The food was delicious, plentiful and perfectly prepared. Bobby, the manager, was visible as he circulated throughout the dining room and patio making sure that everything was perfect. His pleasant, outgoing personality further enhanced our already wonderful experience. It is obvious that his attitude has had an impact on his staff. Keep up the great work! I've come here many times and always leave feeling slightly disappointed. Few times I've been there servers have been overwhelmed to the point they never came back for refills or food check. Not a big deal but not what you'd expect from a busy place like this. Worst part was manager passed by us over 5 separate times without addressing us like true front of house does. If she had she would've noticed we hadn't had water or coffee for over 20 minutes. I do really love the atmosphere. Inside is nicely lit, with booths lining the center of the restaurant and tables outside also. Another great thing about this place is you can get alcohol at 10am, heck yeah!? I ordered their version of an Irish coffee, delicious just slightly too small. Food was decent. I've ordered a couple things off of their menu over the times I've been their and everything has been good. A little on the salty side on certain items but it is breakfast and sausage and bacon tends to be on the saltier side. All in all not a bad spot to try for breakfast. After we got our food he did check in and asked if everything was delicious. I felt like saying, who are you? Service is very important and I don't like being ignored. I am generally a 18 to 20% tipper and I begrudgingly gave him 15%. He was inattentive but at least polite on the rare occasions he engaged with us.
