Environment was fun and the servers were very attentive and helpful. We enjoyed the meals but some in the group were disappointed everything was a-la-carte, which added quite a bit to the bill. We ordered shrimp scampi, veal scallopini, fettucine alfredo, and chicken parm. The mixed drinks were excellent and for dessert, bread pudding, ricotta cheesecake and tiramisu. My girlfriends and I enjoyed a Saturday night dinner at Amore E Amore yesterday. I was able to make a reservation online via open table. We arrived at 6 pm and were immediately taken to our booth next to the bar. The restaurant's theme is currently, Under the Sea, and they didn't miss one detail. Our server was knowledgeable and kind and shared the specials for the evening, the lasagna and a lobster pasta dish and we couldn't resist! I started with a Caesar salad and my friends shared an olive/cheese appetizer. It was so delicious. We chatted while enjoying the music, and looking around at the decor. Once our main dishes arrived, we were so pleased with the presentation and the flavor was on point. I paced myself with the lasagna and had saved a small piece of the complimentary bread because I wanted to leave room for dessert. We all enjoyed our meal and one of the owners came to the table to check in with us about our food. We had the remainder of our meals boxed up and ordered the vanilla gelato, the Nona's lemon pie, and the chocolate lava cake. It was the perfect ending to a great dinner and wonderful experience. This place is absolutely worth the hype!!!! I have been dying to come here for years and I finally got the chance to come for a friends birthday. We had a reservation on a Thursday evening and it was quiet and quaint which was great. The valet parking was also super convenient but there is also tons of street parking! We got a great table for the 6 of us in the front of the restaurant and it felt super intimate which was awesome. This place also takes their theming very seriously which really adds to the fun. The biggest problem I have with this place and the reason it will get a 4 is that I found the service to be extremely lack luster and I am not the only one to complain about that.... Our waiter was really nice but extremely forgetful and at times just left us alone for too long when we needed refills, more bread etc. Either way, on to the dishes. The bread service was delicious and the herby butter it comes with is great! You gotta get the calamari to go with the bread because then the most delicious thing to do is DIP YOUR BREAD IN THE CALAMARI SAUCE!!!! omg that was just so delicious!!!!! We also got the salad with burratta and it was good but the calamari was the stunning appetizer. On top of that, I will say their portion sizes are STUNNING! My pasta plate was massive. I got the Miller's Rhapsody pasta and it was absolutely declious. Creamy and a great sauce truly a fantastic meal! Had a fun time here, especially really liked the under the sea theme for the Summer. The owners and servers are super nice people! The bread is so yummy, it's like a crust baguette type bread. Our baby had the kids pizza bites (which we shared lol, super good) and a lollipop for dessert. For all those who went to their holiday popup and left disappointed, this is for you. So many people love this place and I left wondering why. We were seated in the back which is still festive but brighter and less cozy. Like many mentioned, the waitstaff wasn't interested in making the experience memorable and wanted you in and out as fast as possible. The portion size of their $18 olive and pesto appetizer was appalling. Six olives (yes, six!), four slivers of cheese, three artichoke hearts, and a ramekin of delicious pesto. This feels like a tourist trap in a quaint neighborhood. We both got pasta entrees and they were good, but expensive considering no meat was included. The drinks were festive and actually felt like a good pour considering how expensive they are. 2 stars for that. We ended with the crème brûlée which was somehow over cooked and not creamy. I'm sure the owner will be aggressive about this honest review. To be fair, my sister loved the experience but she's hardly traveled and is delighted by mediocre things sometimes. I really wanted to love this place because we just moved to the area and I wanted to have this be our new cozy date night place. It won't be. It's a very small cozy vibe, which is the only downside because your tables are very close to the other patrons. The food was delicious. The warm bread and garlic butter was so good. Came here for dinner in October to check out their Halloween display and we were very impressed. I cannot imagine the time and effort it took to decorate but it was really impressive and a lot of fun. Of course, it's the food and drinks that really matter. To drink, I got their black flame candle, which was a gin drink with absinthe and it packed a punch, but was also very good. If you like spirit forward, in-your-face cocktails, you will love this. For dinner I got the chicken piccata. I normally wouldn't order this as they tend to be very lemony, and while this one was definitely lemon forwards, it was well balanced and very good. It was also more deconstructed than most piccata dishes that I've tried. I really enjoyed it and I don't usually enjoy dishes that are too citrus. They also can do gluten free pasta, and will go a half order of their pasta dishes on the side, so I got their gluten free pasta with vodka sauce and loved it. It was awesome. Unfortunately, they did not have gluten free bread to soak up the rest of the vodka sauce but the world is an imperfect place. Our service was pretty good. Not great but also nothing that would make me take away from the review. Competent. Not stand out, but also nothing wrong. I have no problem highly recommending Amore e Amore but I would say you should come for Halloween or Christmas or whenever they decorate and do seasonal menus because it's awesome. read more

This is a very cute place with floor to ceiling decorations. They offer free valet parking, please make sure to tip, or you find street parking. All the servers were very nice and friendly. The place is a little cramped inside but totally worth it, it creates more of an intimate setting for everyone. The pasta is very good, but a tad overpriced in my opinion. I hate to say this because I was once a fan of this restaurant's décor, but if you have any ounce of color on your skin, I would strongly reconsider dining here. The owner is the most unprofessional person I have ever met. In all my years of eating out, I have never had a restaurant owner argue with me in front of other customers simply because I gave honest feedback about a dish. After being asked what was wrong with my salad, I explained that it reminded me of an "older Publix salad." While the dressing was well made, the lettuce was not fresh and some portions even seemed partially frozen. Let me also note, I am a professional and well spoken individual. THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NO YELLING, DISRESPECT WHILE I communicating the issue about the salad. So, if she responds and says there is- she is a LIAR. She responds with rebuttals to every review. I am sure she will have a rebuttal for this one as well. HOWEVER, Instead of addressing the concern professionally, the owner became defensive and accused me of being "mean" and "rude" among other things. I calmly explained that her reaction was unprofessional and unnecessary, but she continued arguing with me in the MIDDLE of the restaurant. My husband even had to ask her to "please stop." The situation became so uncomfortable that I asked for the bill because I and she responded by saying there was no bill because she "wants me out." Remind you, I am here with my little one. She literally has made the biggest deal out of a SALAD not being fresh. As I was leaving with my husband and toddler daughter, she CONTINUED following me and arguing. My husband forgot the umbrella, while he went back to get it, a gentleman that is also very unprofessional and of course takes her side stands at the door like he is ready to do something, when my husband was around he didn't even come close to me. She then calls me a "witch." At that point, this old lady was about to get it. I responded and told her she was an unprofessional bitch. What stood out most was the complete lack of professionalism and accountability. Let's be honest, CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM IS A PART OF RUNNING ANY business, and not EVERY customer is going to like everything but nobody should be publicly insulted for expressing an opinion about a SALAD; all of this over an underwhelming salad is ridiculous. As for the food, the décor remains the restaurant's strongest asset. The atmosphere is visually appealing and clearly draws people in, but unfortunately the quality of the food did not match the presentation. Celebrity visitors and a charming interior can only go so far if customer concerns are met with HOSTILITY rather than professionalism. I came in expecting a pleasant meal and left shocked by how I was treated. Disliking a salad should NEVER escalate into a public argument. GO TO YEPPA! The Christmas decorations were very cute and you can tell they put a lot of effort and time in decorating the restaurant from the outside all the way to back of the restaurant. However, I did not really enjoy my food and I was a little disappointed as I love Italian food. I ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo but the pasta was overcooked so it was soft and mushy. What a wonderful experience! This has truly been one of the better restaurants I have been to in Atlanta and was strongly recommended to anybody! The nondescript storefront would never let you guess that you would be walking into Alice's Wonderland behind the doors. They currently have a circus thing ongoing and right from the entrance you're totally immersed in that experience. The party hats, the party flavor is on the drinks, the menu they all incorporate the circus theme. They had a magician for the night who performed fun tricks. The highlight, however remains the impeccable service and the meal itself. The service was prompt with no delays in an easy flow. All of the servers were amazing! The warm bread with table butter is such a delightful way to start the meal. For our appetizers we ordered fried calamari, meatballs and lobster bisque. The lobster bisque was divine! I finally came to one of the most talked about Atlanta Institutions. We came on a Wednesday with a reservation made 2 weeks prior, definitely need your reservation! The decor is definitely special! I was so excited to experience the Christmas season vibes. The food was also absolutely delicious. I cannot recommend the vodka gnocchi more. The filet mignon and lobster bisque are also very yummy. Unfortunately, the service was quite strange. Our waitress kept coming to the table to ask for orders every 2 minutes as we enjoyed the bread and wine and caught up. She would roll her eyes every time we mentioned needing more time. And when we originally said we wanted to skip the appetizers and go to entree, she became visibly annoyed and said, "wow okay" so we felt bad and ordered the bisque. We came for the Halloween pop-up bar and loved it. The place is very crowded with Halloween decorations in every corner including the bathroom! If you're tall, you must watch your head but it definitely puts you in the Halloween spirit. When we first came in the door, we weren't sure what to do because there was just a bunch of decorations there and no host stand, but somebody came up fairly quickly and sat us. I loved that they gave everyone a witch hat to wear! The bread and butter that they gave us was delicious as well as all the food. The portion sizes were fairly large. I ate my chicken Parmesan for dinner that night and lunch the next day. The lobster ravioli had a lot of lobster in it! This place is crazy expensive for what you get - Olive Garden quality food. We had 5 adults and 1 toddler in our group to celebrate a birthday. Our table was in the far back of the restaurant, which as other reviewers have correctly noted, is brighter and not as "themed" as the front of the restaurant. The high chair came with a melted jolly rancher stuck in the middle of the seat. Perhaps this foreshadowed the remainder of the meal. The service here was incredibly disappointing. We asked our server, Ana C, if the toddler needed to order their own adult entree or if there were kids menus available (the restaurant's policy is that no sharing is allowed). Ana told us that there was not a kids menu, and that they only served beverages in glassware. Given the "under the sea" theming, with whimsical cut outs hanging from the ceiling that a kindergarten teacher would hang on a bulletin board, we were surprised that a kids cup wasn't an option. Oh well. We ordered the toddler a plain lemonade, which ended up being $10 (as seen on the receipt included). We had no idea there was a lemonade mocktail on the menu, but instead of Ana offering this to us, we received a standard (probably Minute Maid) glass of lemonade with a bendy straw for $10. Knowing it would cost that much, we might have been open to it. Instead, we were deceived. It took asking her twice for the lemonade to finally arrive to the table. No refills either. To our surprise, Ana then brought out a kids menu! The kids menu was prix fixed and was $20. Instead, we ordered the toddler a side of fettuccine alfredo, at Ana's suggestion, because that was more affordable. As seen on the receipt, a side of fettuccine alfredo costs $18. The portion size was hardly a salad plate. There was no flavor to be had. This was evident in several entrees. The Miller's Rhapsody was described as having a "lasagne sauce" - there was no meat in the sauce at all. The filet had no seasoning. The highlight of the meal was the bread service. Somehow, that was complimentary. We enjoy supporting local businesses and don't mind paying extra for quality food, service and ambiance. This place was a disappointment to say the least. Indeed, this place looks great on Instagram. The restaurant's marketing team certainly hit it out of the park there. However, this place has mediocre food, for comically, astronomically high prices. Save yourself some money and go to Olive Garden. Or spend the same amount and go to La Grotta and have a much better meal. The restaurant also speaks of it being Italian family dinner style but the portions were quite small and pretty pricy. Unfortunately, that description was not accurate. It could also be that it was a different Italian style. But the Italian dinners I'm used to are very flavorful with large portions, usually enough to share with another person. When it came to the service, I wish I could say it was great. The food took a long time to come and when served it did, it was lukewarm. They did attempt to do a kind gesture and place us in a bigger, more private area but it also happened to be where they kept dishes and other utensils, also the path for employees to go in and out. The room also had a strong smell of mold, like an old wet carpet. I was embarrassed. Everyone loved the ambience and food but the service was lacking. We were in and out less than 1.5 hrs (which includes: parking, drink, dinner and dessert) However, I'm always AMAZED by the food and ambience. My favorite part of this restaurant is how they decorate everything to the CORE! Plus the food is phenomenal in my opinion.. they're very good with accommodations as well. Food and ambience is a 10/10. However, the staff needs a lot of extra work because we felt rushed the whole time. We were not even done eating (literally had our food for 15 minutes) and she asked to pack our food & if we wanted dessert. I felt bad so even though we weren't done eating.. we packed it to go and quickly ordered dessert. I brought my mom here for Mother's Day' (along with my dad). I expected from the reviews for things to be fun and lively due to the decor and mention of music, but the vibe was pretty quiet (though the decor was still fun with the current butterfly and flower theme for the spring). My mom and I laughed at what she called "wedding reception music" but at least it made her smile. Everyone thought the food was good but not memorable. The cocktails we had were strong yet sweet and totally Instagrammable. The service was also good. I had the most amazing dinner here. Our server, Kevin, was so sweet and attentive. Their service is absolutely exquisite - our table was bussed so quickly, plates cleared the minute we finished eating. Every staff member from the host to different servers made sure to check in with us periodically. We were never lacking in anything. Now the food was divine. The portions were hearty and proportional with price. My friend and I got the miller pasta and a spicy lobster tail pasta special (forgive me, I don't remember the name) and they were SO GOOD. The flavor was unreal. We were both dipping the bread in the sauces. I can't believe how full I am, I'm still full typing this review. The tiramisu martini was to die for. That was a meal itself. It exceeded my expectations. The limoncello and sorbets were so light and refreshing. I just can't get over how much I enjoyed this experience. And right now they're decorated for their Under The Sea theme, which is just so fitting for Pisces season. And as a Pisces, who actually dined on her birthday eve, it was a truly magical evening. Fun and Festive dining experience for the holidays! We enjoyed a delicious dinner at Amore Amore pre-Christmas and loved the attention to detail they put into every piece of decor. The meal started with a complimentary fresh baguette bread which was hot out of the oven and delicious. I had the rigatoni bolognese and my sister enjoyed the chicken lemon piccata. Both meals were excellent. I'm deducting one star because I wasn't impressed with the service, very rushed and unfriendly. I didn't appreciate how he threw the santa hats on us while we weren't even aware of what was going on. read more

Place was wonderful. I was brought here for my birthday and was given a birthday hat. Very fun and unique experience! I enjoyed the ambiance as well. I loved my food. I had the cousin Vinny's special! I loved that everyone was friendly and the manager (I assumed that was him) was walking around the restaurant making sure everyone was enjoying themselves and was attentive to everything. Really good experience. I really do feel that this place is a must visit. I'll definitely come back again. read more

This was such a fun experience! ...and, for the record, I never describe restaurants or a dining experience as fun. But this place is that. We walked thru the entryway, visually greeted by the eclectic life-size decor and upbeat music that made me wanna shimmy a little. By the time I shimmied three steps into the restaurant, we were warmly verbally greeted by a hostess. We had a reservation (made just and hour or so earlier, on their website) and were seated immediately. The walkway is rather small so we had a few traffic jams in route to our table. Walking thru this restaurant was like walking into Wonderland thru Alice's eyes. There was so much to see and take in! (side note: I could see someone being overstimulated walking thru here but it was a fabulous experience for me!) Upon being seated, we were handed menus, glow bracelets, and party hats! Warm bread and garlic butter was sat on the table and a cafe of water. We ordered quickly and were warmed that the food comes fast. It was lightening fast!! No exaggeration: the food was on the table in less than 10 minutes and it was GOOD!!! I had the Miller's pasta and my husband had the chicken parm. We have no complaints about our food. It was hot, plentiful, and delicious. He said the vibe felt like New Year's Eve. I agree. So if you're looking for a fun time with tasty food and fast, friendly service, this is your place! read more

Entering this quaint resto will transport you to a whimsical little land. They often change the decor and the food is also seasonal. If you're celebrating an event, get ready for a treat! Amore E Amore has some of the best food and atmospheres! Make sure to book a reservation in advance, as this place is really popular. We visited during the Christmas season and were greeted with Santa hats. Everyone in the restaurant was wearing a hat, so the vibe was really fun, yet romantic and elegant. Not to mention, the interior holiday decorations were over the top in the best way possible. Upon arriving, we parked with the valet. The food was outstanding! There were complimentary, warm bread loafs with the tastiest garlic butter on the side. We couldn't resist asking for more bread and butter. I tried the Miller Family's Favorite Pasta and was blown away. The creamy pink sauce is with bits of meat was amazing and the portion is quite large. I had enough for leftovers the next day. My sister also enjoyed the rigatoni bolognese! If you have friends in town that you want to impress or celebrating an occasion, definitely come to Amore E Amore!! read more
