Spiedini di Branzino Warm Seasonal Greens

I stopped in here for a bite and a glass of white. This was my first time here, and the Yelp reviews made it hard to decide what to order . Food - Spiedini di Branzino - cooked perfectly. Flavor could have had a touch of more seasoning, but the pesto sauce on the side added what it was lacking. Wine - Cantina Lavis (Pinot Grigio l) - solid crisp white, not too dry, not sweet - perfect balance for me Service - Adequate, but nothing to write home about. He was pleasant, but maybe stretched thin. Pricing - Affordable. Good starting price. Extras carried a charge (e.g. extra pesto sauce). That was surprising, but good to know if I come back.

TL;DR: Not worth the hype. Nice ambiance and okay Italian food, but it's not set up for a great meal with good friends Yeppa has a great location on the Beltline, and it's a beautiful place to start a coffee on a weekend morning or a drink in the evening. For anything else, it's generally not good value for the price. It's not a place you can hang out for a long time because it gets so busy in the evenings, and the staff are so persistent about checking in that it feels like you can't stay for long. The food isn't bad, but it's inconsistent. My favorite thing from Yeppa is the stuffed pasta with mascarpone and butternut squash; I would definitely recommend this one for its perfect texture and chew and its balance between sweet and creamy. The Linguine alle Vongole is not nearly as strong; the taste of the clams is overshadowed by the cherry tomatoes, and the pasta is so thin that it overcooks quickly, so this dish features pasta that's lacks chew and breaks easily. The food also tends to be overseasoned. The "crispy focaccia" is more cracker than bread, and since it's sold as both an appetizer and a side to the mussels, the salt and rosemary on the bread is too strong to pick up the broth from the mussels. Still looking for outstanding Italian food in Atl! If you know of anything, send it my way

Five stars for ambiance! What a wonderful brunch outdoors was this! The music, the location and crowd! Amazing. I would definitely come back for the vibes. We had the Branzino fish appetizer. It was ok just needed a tad bit more seasoning. I had the lasagna. It was greasy. It was ok just a little too greasy for my liking. I had an aperol spritz and a lemon cello spritz both was magnificent. Sat and people watched and enjoyed the views. All in all, ask for salt and you should be good to go with the food.

Our group arrived earlier than expected for a celebratory lunch after a graduation ceremony. Our early arrival was not a problem for them, we were seated quickly and drink orders were efficient! My order of Lasagna was good and a plentiful portion - could possibly be shared. However, my favorite was the focaccia bread and the appetizer meatballs!

went to yeppa at 6:30 on a saturday (with a reservation which I highly recommend), they were very busy. Lots of seating inside and outside but insanely crowded to walk to the bathroom; bar area also looked packed but nice. We got lots of delicious food, I highly recommend the mussels and green beans. I'm still currently DREAMING of those green beans, so simple yet incredibly delicious. Both of my friends loved their pastas; I love my mussels, they were very flavorful. Unfortunately my octopus was overcooked and dry. The tiramisu truffle balls were DELISH and the perfect dessert size after a filling meal. Highly recommend and will be back!

Ambiance was great. Check the aesthetic in the pictures I posted with this review. The place definitely gets pretty packed after 4 PM on weekdays anyway, I got there at 3. Beware the restroom is extremely dark. I needed to use the flashlight of my phone camera to be able to see. I went for a work dinner with coworkers, and the bar started filling up quickly. It looks like their drinks are great. I only had my usual go-to drink, but my colleague tried an espresso martini and said it was excellent. We ordered a few appetizers, including meatballs, a raw fish dish, and a prosciutto with mozzarella plate. The prosciutto and mozzarella plate was delicious. The raw fish dish was different, and the meatballs lacked flavor in my opinion. However, the presentation of everything was beautiful. We also ordered meals to go. I can't say much about my coworkers' meals since we all went our separate ways afterward, but I ordered the lasagna. Once I got to my destination and started eating it, the meat tasted heavily of wine or some type of alcohol. Other than that, it didn't have much flavor, so I couldn't finish it. I'm not sure if that's their signature style of cooking, but it just wasn't for me. Hopefully not all of their dishes have that strong alcohol-infused flavor, although I'm sure some people enjoy that. Overall, it was still a nice time and a nice experience. I don't live in Georgia, so I doubt I'll come back again, but I would still recommend the place for drinks, appetizers, and the atmosphere. The absolute best part of the experience for me was our server, Jimmy. He was patient, friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable.

Another Atlanta restaurant to try out you will not be disappointed! The restaurant has an adult vibe. It's kind of dark and mysterious and very trendy. The bar was poppin, the drinks were great and the conversation as well! Try the Bolognese pasta you will not regret it!

Disclaimer I only had drinks and cocktails this time but everything was amazing and I will be back for entrees and dessert! The calamari was amazing for starters! It was so well seasoned. It's lightly battered but still crispy. Very flavorful. It came on a bed of almost fried onions. I'm still thinking about it days later. The yellowtail I'm not going to lie... some of the best I've ever had. I was so shocked. It's not your usual with jalapeños but FRUIT! I know , but just trust me. Lastly the espresso martinis some of the best I've ever had. Definitely could taste the espresso and still sweet without any Baileys or anything! And look how many you get! We sat on the patio which had fire pits! Thus made for such a cute date night vibe. The manager was amazing! He was so hospitable and made my first time amazing. Believe the hype and visit.

We came for a late Valentine's Day dinner and I totally understand the hype behind Yeppa now after only going for drinks!! Theres validated parking with the entrance of the lot right behind the restaurant. It's always busy so we waited in line a little bit to get to the host stand, but we're seated instantly when we gave them our reservation. This is definitely a place where a reservation is a MUST if you don't want to wait hours. Inside some of the tables are a bit crammed, and we unfortunately ended up dining a bit close to the people on one side. If you get a booth though, you shouldn't have a problem. We started with the branzino skewers and I think they were my fav of the night! They got the fish to be the perfect mix of a flaky outside and a super tender inside. The chimichurri also mixed well with the fish! We then shared the spicy pepperoni flatbread, ravioli, and broccolini. I really enjoyed the flatbread too (I think all pepperoni pizzas can be so easily elevated with just some spice and sweetness) and Yeppa did a fantastic job with that! The broccolini was also cooked perfectly and flavored well! Personally I thought the ravioli was just ok and wouldn't order it again. I think the pasta itself was nice and I liked the buttered sage mixture that went with it, but the ricotta filling was bland. Just something extra to spice it up would have been perfect. Drinks here are also amazing so whether it's a girls night out, a date, or just a nice dinner with friends you have to try Yeppa!

Yeppa will forever be a classic for the ambiance, a great place to go with a group! Service is always on par, and the food is solid. Go for the pasta trio deal on Wednesdays - great meal to share with a group! And of course, you can't pass up the espresso martini tower.

Yeppa in Buckhead Village is always a fun spot with great energy and a really good menu. One thing I always look forward to is the rosemary focaccia bread -- it's so good and the perfect way to start the meal. I usually go for the steak and potatoes or the spicy pizza, which are both favorites of mine. This time I tried the beef bolognese. It was okay, but honestly I enjoyed the steak and spicy pizza much more and would probably stick to those next time. Overall, the vibe, food, and atmosphere make this a great Buckhead dinner spot and definitely somewhere I keep coming back to. Service is always wonderful here! The girlies are always so sweet and the food always comes out at a reasonable amount of time even when busy!

Overrated restaurant in my opinion. People hype up this restaurant a lot but i think the food is just okay! The best part of coming here is the ambiance. The F1 theme is cool and it's very loud and lively inside. The service is also fine, no complaints. Overall a decent experience, I was just expecting a lot more with the amount of chatter this place gets and with the decision to expand to the Beltline.

Came in for a working lunch and the food was out of this world! So fresh and delicious! I had the gnocchi which was cooked to the perfect texture. I also had an NA glass of Prosecco (not on the menu but is a component of their NA Bellini so they did it for me). The front of the restaurant is so light and bright, it creates a beautiful atmosphere. When I am back in town this place will be on my "must visit" list!

For entrees, I ordered one of the dinner specials, grilled branzino served with broccolini and potatoes. My husband ordered the ravioli. I really enjoyed the branzino, it was tender and the skin was cooked crispy. I loved that the broccolini was charred enough, but wish the potatoes were cooked a bit more. The capers added the needed saltiness to the dish, though I wish this was served with lemon or something to balance out the flavors. My husband enjoyed his ravioli but found it too heavy with the cream sauce. We thought this was a decent place for dinner, but nothing really stood out besides the eggplant balls.

We arrived admittedly about 10 minutes after our reservation time (thanks to the city of Decatur's hostile parking policies), after attempting to call the restaurant and let them know we were circling the building. I say attempting because the number rings straight to an AI voice that doesn't allow you to speak once it asks you a question. I even tried sending messages through the OpenTable app. Either way, the restaurant claims you have a 15 minute grace period. Once we finally walked inside, my sister leaned over and whispered that their posted food inspection score was a low B. We exchanged glances but figured maybe they were inspected on an off day. The host (once she finally stopped avoiding eye contact with us) spontaneously let us know that since we weren't on time, we would be "getting a table in the back by the kitchen". What an odd policy to announce to your patrons that you're going to be punishing them with bad seating. The table was indeed by the kitchen but given how many tables this restaurant has tried to cram into the dining room, none of them are spectacular. I looked around and saw folks at tables bumping into the ones next to them, that's how tightly everyone is seated. Our server was friendly enough, and was able to recommend some good dishes. Word to the wise, while they bring bread to the table, it's one half-slice per person. We learned the hard way (because our server never mentioned it) that asking for more bread (the exact same amount as before mind you) is $7. You could buy a freshly baked loaf for that price. The actual food was fine, not bad but nothing like we've had in the past. It arrived fairly quickly. Where the dinner continued nosediving was when my sister, after seeing that we all had ordered small side dishes of pasta, decided she'd like to order some as well. By small side dish, I mean a fistful in a soup cup. I add that detail because when she asked the server, the server stated it would be AT LEAST a 20 minute wait. We asked her to repeat herself because surely we heard that wrong, right? 20 minutes for spaghetti?! She left for a few minutes, then came back and said her manager confirmed that even if she asked the kitchen to rush it, the soonest would be 18 minutes. You see a pattern here right? This restaurant seems like they relish letting their customers know who's in charge...and here's a hint reader, it's not you. Where the evening actually became appalling was a result of our closeness to the kitchen. They have a sous chef working dining room-adjacent doing the final dish prep before the food is picked up by the runners. I know kitchens usually don't utilize gloves (the whole, hands can be frequently washed but the same pair of gloves will touch multiple surfaces thing). However this gentleman unabashedly practiced some of the worst cross contamination practices I've ever seen. He'd grabbed fistfuls of Parmesan cheese to garnish a plate, then reach in his pocket for his phone. Then he'd arrange leaves of lettuce for salad, then TOUCH HIS HAIR. We watched him on two occasions have, either family friends or familiar patrons, walk up to him excitedly and he'd hug them and shake their hands and pat their shoulders, and once done would immediately grab forks and knives and spoons by their business ends, squeeze lemons, slice bread, fist the cheese container....absolutely disgusting and completely explains the health inspection score. If anything it should have been lower. We were only 5 feet away from the guy and he made eye contact with us several times so it's not like he was embarrassed. A long haired woman came over a few times and did the same as him, though she did put black gloves on once or twice. To top it off, once we received the check was we saw plenty of upcharges and surcharges that our server neglected to tell us she would be adding, so her tip reflected her oversight. To wrap it up, not only is the service and food not worth the price, but this place is actually unhygienic. Unless they change their practices, you're eating here at your own risk. Wish Yelp was like IG and I could @ the health department....
