    Tiramisu

No. 246 is a gem in downtown Decatur. What started as a solo dinner at the bar after a long day turned into a pleasant evening with the attention of the bar staff - particularly Linda! After expressing that I was open to any variety of dishes, in hopes of venturing out from my "usual" of chicken parmigiana, Linda made several very thoughtful recommendations. I enjoyed the light flavors of the Agnolotti pasta, and the richness of the Marsala chicken. I am personally not a huge fan of mushroom taste, but the dish was not mushroom forward at all and the Marsala sauce was perfect. I also tried the cannellini beans after both Linda and her counterparts insisted that it's the most underrated dish on the menu and there were absolutely correct! I could have eaten the beans as my main dish and been perfectly happy. I finished it all off with the tiramisu, which was the perfect balance of sweetness and a very authentic taste about it! Anyone who knows me personally knows that I don't eat leftovers, but I reheated my leftovers on the stove and it was just as great as the night before - making the dishes well worth their value! The restaurant has a very quiet and respectable ambiance. The bar is inviting, while the seating area offers both group or family style dinner tables or more intimate tables tucked away. I can't thank Linda enough for the hospitality and recommendations. I'll be back, sooner rather than later, to keep exploring the menu!

Finally got around to trying this place after it was recommended to me multiple times since 2021. I don't know why it took me so long to this place is worth it. The service was 10/10. The ambiance is cute. The bread service is some of the best I've ever had. And the cocktails are fire. Had the lemon chicken at the advice of our waitress and it was incredible. The pasta was great. Cesar salad solid. Wine list strong. Can't say enough.

Had high hopes, but left feeling underwhelmed. We had a party of 4 on 4/22/26. We split everything. Here's what we got: - Garlic Bread ($18): Good. - Caesar Salad ($14): Good. - Agnolotti ($25): Decent. - Spicy Rigatoni Vodka ($23): Fine. - Bistecca ($65): Eh. Too tough. - Torta al Cioccolato ($9): Good! - EVOO Pudding Cake ($10): Delicious. Favorite part of the meal. Service was good. Food came out in a reasonable amount of time. Free bread service. Outside seating was really pretty. I don't feel the need to go back.

Came to an early birthday dinner tonight! We started with the garlic bread! For my entree I ordered the Spicy Rigatoni. For my beverage, I had the beaches of Italy! I loved everything but the drink, wouldn't order that again... I didn't taste any tequila, mainly just taste grapefruit juice. The highlight of the meal was the garlic bread. Even though, one side was burnt, it's so good I let it slide. We had good service and the service even brought me a birthday treat! I always appreciate someone going the extra mile when they do not have to. Lastly, I would probably opt for outdoor seating the next time I dine. It was too dark inside for me and I could barely read and/see the menu. I can't wait to go back and patronize the business.

Last night I checked out this restaurant it had a beautiful setting and can be perfect for date night, friends, or family. I had a really great waiter, Adam, who was knowledgeable about the menu and gave awesome recommendations. I started off with the breadsticks, which were good, although some were burnt and you could taste it. However, the cheese pull was great and the flavor was still enjoyable I just removed the burnt edges. I had the shrimp scampi with a side of pasta, and it was excellent. My friend had the spicy pasta with pork, and she loved it. The dessert was awesome as well. There's plenty of parking around, and street parking is free after 6 PM. Parking decks are available, but they have a 2-hour limit.

Get here now! I really enjoyed this restaurant in Decatur Square. The ambience was amazing. Our waitress was so kind and everyone was very accommodating since we had a irritable toddler with us. The food was 12 out of 10! If you order nothing else, get the espresso martini and the garlic cheesy bread. I had a wonderful time here and can't wait to go back. I've had trouble booking reservations here, but if you're a relatively small party, you may have luck as a walk-in like we did. Be mindful that you do have to pay for parking because they do not have parking on premise, we parked at the lot in front of the real tacos

    Wednesday Night Special: Carbonara

We went here to celebrate our anniversary. It was a Wednesday and packed, so I'm glad we made a reservation. Highly recommend doing that. The hostess greeted us and wished us happy anniversary, as well as our waiter, and they sent over free champagne for us. The food was beyond delicious and intentionally prepared. We had a sharable Ceasar Salad, the pasta special, which was Carbonara, and a pizza. All of the food was so delicious we ate too much. Our waitress was so attentive, we never had to wait really for anything. The inside of the restaurant looked like walking into a Roman trattoria.

Lovely experience with great food! Promptly seated for our reservation on a Saturday night. Crowded white bricked wall room with great energy. Server was friendly and attentive. Cheesy garlic bread is a must. Started with that and then had spicy vodka rigatoni with house made rigatoni. Flawless execution on both. I'll sleep well after that meal!

I usually avoid trying new places on my birthday, but after hearing so many great reviews about No. 246, I decided to take the risk--and wow, it paid off! The ambiance was stunning. Dim lighting created an intimate, cozy vibe that felt perfect for a special night. Our server, Josh, was incredible--kind, personable, and patient. Honestly, I hope he's our server again next time. Bonus points for the complimentary bread to start--because who doesn't love warm bread? For drinks, we kicked things off with "The Beaches of Italy" and a couple of Old-Fashioneds. Both were excellent. For entrées, we ordered Eggplant Parmesan, Shrimp Scampi (with a side of pasta), Risotto, and Gulf Snapper. Every single dish was a 10/10--seriously flawless. And because it was my birthday, dessert was a must. I went with the tiramisu, and let me tell you, it was so good I almost licked the plate (but, you know, public setting!). No. 246 has officially earned a spot in my rotation. While I'm not Italian, I grew up in New York and have tasted authentic Italian dishes--and this was the most authentic experience I've had in Atlanta so far. I can't wait to go back!

You can believe the hype here the food is delicious. I could've ate more I was thoroughly surprised it was as good as people claimed it to be (especially on social media). The service was great it is an intimate setting so I didn't want to turn my flash on to take pictures but I promise the food looks better than my pictures. The service was also great I did have to wait for about 15 minutes even with having a reservation so that was a little meh but it wasn't that big of a deal, they are a popular spot.

Very crazy how a review can change after 7 months. Dined here tonight and I got something very opposite of good service. We didn't get our bread service until 40 minutes later and asking two different people for it after seeing all the tables around us getting it upon seating. We finished our appetizers and still hadn't received any. We were also never checked up, dirty dishes were never collected, water was never refilled and check was never brought out until we asked. Not sure what changed but the service compared to the last few times I've dined here was different. And what was crazy was the tables next to us seemed to be getting the total opposite of our service. The server even dusted off their table after the bread for them. Not sure what happened here but don't think I can be back.

Caesar Salad , No. 246 Meatball

This was my first time visiting No. 246. I came for a friend's birthday dinner and was thoroughly impressed. Our server was attentive and friendly. The interior is gorgeous and much bigger than expected, although still cozy. I ordered an espresso martini (very good!) and a Hugo spritz (also very good) for drinks. They both came out very quickly. We started with a Caesar Salad & the No. 246 meatball. They were both delicious and the meatball was huge. The server emphasized that everything is shareable and she was not wrong. The Caesar is served with anchovies on top which is yum! For my main course, I ordered the black spaghetti which is very popular apparently, the dish included shrimp. My friend beside me ordered the Chicken Marsala with a side of pasta. My spaghetti was good, a bit spicy although not too much for me. However, I was able to try my friend's chicken Marsala and it was delightful! The chicken was so tender and the sauce was delicious. I would honestly opt for ordering that if I was to visit again. Definitely recommend No. 246 and I'm hoping I can go to their brunch soon.

the service was amazing! my partner was celebrating s new job and they brought our treats to celebrate. That was so sweet! also ambiance was super sexy and intimate, so perfect for date night or a girls night! I would say the food was very average to me. I got the ceasar salad and the lettuce was super bitter. I also got the chicken parm and it wasn't as flavorful as i expected. I did get a hugo spritz and it was delish I would come back to try new things!

    What is the dress code?

    Dressy casual-nice jeans are fine.

    Can you were jeans here?

    Yes!

Are there any gluten free options?

Yes! They have gluten free pasta and most of their entrée options are GF or can be prepared as such. Also, sides, salads and lots of GF antipasti options! Their experienced staff will do a great job navigating you through the menu.

I want to have a baby shower. Is there a pirate dining area available or can a certain number of tables be reserved?

There's a place in the back that can be closed, so it's private. But, I don't know if they's actually do that for a event.

Can I bring my own bottle of wine?If so what is the cork fee?

You can bring your own wine and I believe the fee is $15.

Since it was a nice day outside, we decided to dine al fresco. Once we were seated, we encountered another wait, but this time it was because they hadn't assigned a server to our table. We had to get someone's attention because we noticed other people seated after us were being waited on. We ended up with Sienna as our server. She started us off with complimentary bread. We decided to order our cocktails, appetizers, and entrees since we had been waiting. I had the sangria, and my husband had the limoncello. We enjoyed both cocktails. For appetizers, we had calamari and cheese sticks, and the cheese sticks were definitely our favorite--they had a unique twist. For entrees, we ordered the lamb ragu and the chef's special, which was seafood ravioli. To end the night, we had the brownie sundae with salted caramel gelato. We thoroughly enjoyed our food and drinks. Although the service was a bit slow at first, Sienna was attentive. We look forward to visiting Paolino again in the future.

The smoked salmon pasta was good with two exceptions: the onions weren't caramelized like the menu said AND they really should include a veggie like asparagus in it. The Diavola pizza was good but barely had any cheese. The cannolis again were good but the filling had the wrong consistency. They tasted prefilled even though our waitress said they're not. I originally found Gigi's while celebrating my brother and I's birthday, and it ended up becoming a tradition for us to come back every year. This visit I ordered the polenta with caviar, beef carpaccio with boquerones, roasted brassicas, spicy rigatoni, chicken milanese, and tiramisu. What I love most about Gigi's is that the menu is smaller, but everything feels intentional and well executed. Nothing feels like filler. Every dish tastes fresh and thoughtfully put together. My absolute favorite thing on the menu is the beef carpaccio. I could order that every single visit and still not get tired of it. The service here has always been impeccable and I really appreciate that they're welcoming to solo diners and keep bar seating available. Almost really ruined my experience and I was going to dine elsewhere. Started off with focaccia and beef carpaccio. The beef carpaccio was good! Although very very thin serving. We got two pasta dishes and th trout. The pasta dish with shrimp only came with five small pastas, I thought this was kind of pricey and crazy! $32 for five pieces of pasta?! The pork pasta dish was also very very salty. Though a bigger portion for $34, it was okay at best. The trout was definitely the better entree in my opinion. We also got a slice of tiramisu, and this was my favorite item all night. It was sweet and light! They also don't give any free appetizers for your birthday just fyi! The server was friendly, and came to check on us frequently. Overall, the food was okay, and the phone service was off putting.
