My family and I dined here on Christmas Eve. We were shocked how empty the restaurant was when we got there. We did have dinner reservations at 6:30 pm and only a few tables were occupied, but the later the night had gone, more diners came, but still was not bustling full. They have valet parking (apparently was not available that night) and deck parking which they do validate 2 hours of it. We were at the restaurant for more than 2 hours, so we paid for the extra time. Our server (Lauren I think was her name) was decent that night, but we felt as if our drinks and food took a long time. As it was Christmas Eve, she gave us a few additional plates that we did not order for free that we thoroughly enjoyed. For starters, we all shared the meatballs, marinated olives, little gem salad and focaccia. I thoroughly enjoyed the salad and focaccia with the salad as one of our "Christmas gifts" that night. The focaccia was served with honey butter and was served warm. My husband and I shared the Margherita Royale. The dough itself had a nice chew and loved the charred bits on the crust. We also shared the charred broccoli, but was nothing to write home about - personally, would not recommend. I ordered an affogato as my dessert. I wasn't expecting the espresso and ice cream to be served separately. I just took sips of the espresso while taking spoonfuls of ice cream - this was easily shared. I do want to give a shout out to their general manager, Macy. She dropped by our table to check how we were enjoying our meal. Two people in our party has been there before to celebrate a big accomplishment and Macy remembered them! She even remembered giving them a gift that night. I think it's worth trying their food! Clean but corporate interior. My party of four ordered the little gem as a starter, 3 pastas, and the market catch fish. It took a long time for the food to come out despite not being very busy. The food is tasty. But the portions are shockingly small. We aren't hicks expecting massive portions, but these were smaller than the (small) Los Angeles portions we are used to eating. We left googling whether there were any other food options still open in the area. My father in law and I both ordered the beef cheek pasta, and both spent hours on the toilet afterwards. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant unless you want to just order a few pizzas. We will not be returning. read more

Came here for Galentine's dinner with a group of 6. It was really busy on a Friday night. The waiter was kinda pushy about us ordering as quickly as possible. The burrata app was delicious. The soppressata pizza was a bit too sweet to call it spicy. It was kinda nauseating actually bc it was so sweet. The tiramisu was one of the best I've had in Atlanta. I originally ordered their Neapolitan brownie special, but it was super disappointing compared to the IG pic the restaurant had posted. The manager apologized and comped the tiramisu for me, which was very nice of him, hence the 4 stars. My companions loved their pastas so I may just have not ordered the right thing. This Italian restaurant is located right on the BeltLine, next to the Kroger on Ponce, making it an easy and convenient stop. The space is very modern with an open-air concept, and I noticed a private dining room that would be perfect for hosting a small, intimate event. The hostess and wait staff were excellent from start to finish. Our waiter recommended the roasted half chicken entrée, and it was delicious--exactly as he described. We started with the mussels, which were very flavorful and a great way to start the meal. I ordered the lobster ravioli, which unfortunately was a bit too salty for my taste. However, the chocolate hazelnut torte completely made up for it--absolutely to die for and a must-order if you're a dessert lover. They offer two hours of validated parking as well as valet, which is a nice perk in this area. What a great first experience here.. Wandered in on a rainy day and the bartender, John, kindly made me a "nojito" because I couldn't decide what to have. We were there early, so we sat and enjoyed our drinks (mom had the isola amore and really enjoyed it). Her drink was fruity and sweet, but light. When the kitchen opened up I did the thing I dread where I ask the kitchen if they can modify something to make it vegan. They happily obliged and made us the most delicious dishes. Pizza was so flavorful. Perfect stretchy, thin crust with that bubbled edge. They even had vegan cheese! Pasta had lots of veggies too and a simple sauce. I couldn't have been happier. I ordered the roasted chicken, while my friends had pasta dishes and a steak entrée--we all agreed the food was just average. It took me more than 40 min to get it even if there was almost no one eating. Worst of all, the sauce and veggie was very very very salty, I almost vomited after several bites. I could even find salt granule in the sauce!? On the other hand, the chicken was quite bland, as if they only put salt on the chicken skin. Overall a marvelous experience! Location: just above Kroger on the Beltline, there is a staircase. I walked but I believe there is adjacent parking. Ambiance: light and bright - windows face close the sunset so you do get some really direct sun if you're sitting in the booth. The restaurant gives an elevated look but doesn't feel too fancy for the beltline vibe. Service: top notch. Our waitress was perfectly attentive and kind. Food: it's elevated without straying from the cuisine. We shared the focaccia which is a large hunk of bread with an equally large hunk of Parmesan and an even more equal hunk of wildflower butter. It was dreamy. I will note that this tasted focaccia adjacent and was slightly more crumbly than your average focaccia but my taste buds wanted every last bite. We also shared the squash and snap pea. The portion was unreal and it was so flavorful and textural. I would eat this daily. I ordered the muscles which were stunning in a semi spicy garlic butter sauce. I did get one or two slightly undercooked muscles which was unfortunate, but I still wanted to slurp up the sauce with the toasted bread. My friend got the lamb pasta. I had a few bites and it was absolutely delicious. It was strong and pesto forward with large hunks of flavorful lamb. Her pasta was definitely on the heavier side, but looked light. I truly wanted to love Indaco -- it's the type of restaurant that would normally be an instant favorite of mine. As a foodie, it has the ambiance and quality I appreciate. As someone who actively supports local restaurants in the communities where I live and work, its neighborhood is one I frequent. However, this was a special occasion to celebrate my grad school graduation from Georgia Tech, a once-in-a-lifetime milestone. Unfortunately, the experience was handled so poorly that I left feeling disrespected and taken advantage of. For context, I reserved an indoor dining room space a month in advance under an event contract for 15 guaranteed guests and a "prix fixe" menu at a specified per-person rate. I was genuinely excited to celebrate with family and friends, and I did everything I could to plan ahead and make it a smooth, joyful evening. The contract had No open bar and I made specific arrangements for five guests who were children under age 8, including a special needs child who could not eat or drink. I was assured that we could order à la carte if needed for the children and that was solidified in the contract. Things started off oddly upon arrival, when the staff tried to seat us on the outdoor patio in the middle of a thunderstorm. While covered, wind and rain were blowing onto the patio, and that was not the space I had reserved. I had to advocate for myself, on the spot, to be seated indoors where I was originally contracted to be. Still, I tried to shake it off. I was super happy, surrounded by loved ones, and determined to enjoy the night. There were rumblings by my guests of several customer service misses with one of the waitstaff, which I was told by another staff member had occurred before (so, that was awkward and disheartening to hear). But, the real surprise came at the end of the evening. My final bill had extra charges totaling over a thousand dollars, including: *20 full adult meals (included the children I had made specific accommodations for), *Numerous alcoholic drinks that were supposed to be paid for individually (never approved by me), *Guests who dined nearby but were not part of my contract (they paid their own $200+ bill) *Additional tip, at a higher rate than the 20% in my contract (ended up being nearly $600, which was double what was specified in the contract) When I brought this up with the on-site manager, Macy, I was met with dismissive excuses like "the server assumed..." or "we just wanted the experience to be nice." Well, that's not acceptable when these changes weren't communicated nor approved. These were clear breaches of contract, and unbelievably, the Indaco team seemed to be Ok with that. To make things worse, half of the leftover food disappeared into the kitchen and was never returned to us. No explanation, no accountability. The whole experience left me frustrated and frankly, sad. The entire point of booking in advance under an event contract, was to celebrate an important milestone with peace of mind. I upheld my end of the agreement in every way. I planned in good faith, I communicated clearly in writing, and I paid promptly. What I received in return was an evening that ended with stress, confusion, and disappointment -- at a moment in my life that was supposed to be joyful. I'm currently working to address the situation through formal channels, and I sincerely hope the Indaco management team reflects on how this could have -- and should have -- been handled differently. Atlanta is home to countless incredible restaurants, and whether guests are celebrating major milestones or simply enjoying a night out, they deserve the food, service, and professionalism they've been promised and paid for. As diners, we want to feel that the establishments we choose to support genuinely care about the experience they're providing. That care was noticeably absent here. For me, this wasn't just a bad night at a restaurant, it was a deeply meaningful celebration shared with 20 first-time guests, myself included, whom I brought to Indaco in good faith. It was a moment I had looked forward to and can never get back. That kind of disappointment is not something I ever expected from a place like Indaco. Upon arrival it was a challenge to find where to enter after parking, which is right near the Kroger off the belt line. There is a building where security walks around and inside it's an elevator that'll take you upstairs to the floor of the restaurant; you can also enter by the way of the beltline. Reservation was at 7pm but arrived a little after 7pm and they still accommodated my party with no issue. We sat and ordered app and drink and then went outside to take birthday photos. Which is a great spot to take photos especially around sunsets time. WARNING unable to use a flash photography camera on the back the security of the building was adamant about that! They wanted until we return to the table to bring out our food, which included margherita pizza Pappardelle Rigatoni Crispy potatoes Caesar salad Beet salad Mussels. From what I tasted the crispy potatoes, mussels, Margherita pizza, and Caesar salad were all delicious. My favorite and reason for visiting again at a later time would be the potatoes and mussels, that was my first time ever having mussels. It was flavorful , cooked to perfection goodness, the potato were crispy with the right amount of seasoning and sauce!!!! The waiter was kind patient and attentive and the manager Kevin continuously stopped by the table made a few jokes and checked on everyone to ensure the food and service were up to par. Nice little gem off Ponce. The parking is interesting in that the lot isnt very user friendly. You do get validated larkin5 but expect to pay a few dollars. Service was really on point with Bilal. Food was good. I would def come back for the burratta cheese salad. Very flavorful and balanced. They temper the arugula so if you aren't a fan like my wife is you don't get fit with the peppery bite that we know and love, we'll some of us! Pasta, al dente with a sauce that wasn't sweet had just the right notes of flavor. I could have gone for a tad bit more salt but it worked. Foccacia, I love. This is would try again with out the cheese sprinkled on top and the honey butter. Just too many flavor profiles being stacked. That's just me. If the foccacio is the star of the show let it be. I thought the chees was a bit heavy handed but the bread itself with the salad is a killer winner. Pizza, dont get the peaches pizza. Peaches by their very nature hold a lot of juiciness, putting it on a pizza just made for a soggy mess. So you don't have a nice crispy bottom and the pizza checker all the boxes when it arrived at the table. We got the cheesecake which was a winner with everyone who had a bite. Lemon wasn't overwhelming just the right tone. Presentation, beautiful. My wife celebrated her birthday and they gave her a frozen dessert that tasted like am orange creamsicle wife I love. I came in on a Wednesday evening with a reservation for a party of 10. The staff had our table all ready when we arrived and even had custom menus printed that said "Happy Birthday"! They also had a bouquet of flowers for me at my seat as well which was just such a sweet touch. While service was a little slow, our server was super friendly. Update: we just spent our 25th anniversary here for dinner. We were treated like royalty! Macy the new manager was very kind and thoughtful. She chatted with us for a few minutes and was a very gracious host. Angel our server was amazing!!! We each got a complimentary flute of champagne, and he added an amazing Brussel sprout side with toasted pine nuts that was insanely good. Updated to a 3.5/5. I came back to give their brunch a try with a few friends. While everything we ordered was good, the portion sizes are really small for the cost, and I feel that some of the dishes are still lacking something to make them stand out. We were one of only a handful of parties in the restaurant at the time, but the food still took a while to come out. We were initially brought the wrong pizza after about a 20-minute wait, which wouldn't usually be an issue except we had a vegetarian in the party and the incorrect pizza was several dollars more expensive than the others on the menu. When we politely requested the one we ordered, the server didn't really apologize and instead just took the pizza back while we waited another 10 or so minutes. The new pizza STILL wasn't correct, but at that point we weren't about to send it back again. I totally get that things happen and orders get messed up, but if a restaurant is going to be charging upscale prices, I feel like they should be willing to do more to rectify mistakes, especially when it's not busy. read more

Finally got to try Indaco!! A friend made a reservation for her birthday for a Wednesday evening and the restaurant was nice and quiet. We parked in the Ford Factory Loft deck which they validate for and it was free!! Literally already 10/10 When we go there, they gave her a bouquet of flowers and the menu even said happy birthday which I thought was adorable!! Staff was so nice and always checking in We got the focaccia to start which the sauce was cold which shocked me but it was delicious! We also got some drinks I got the cherry cherry lady which was refreshing (love Coke as a mixer!) For my main I got the prosciutto pizza which was massive!! Delicious crust and sauce and easily shareable. Others got the pasta and loved it and I also tried the hangar steak which was crazy tender. Overall 10/10! On top of that, a beautiful white bouquet of flowers were given to her at the beginning of our meal. In terms of decoration, the place was gorgeous with a wonderful view of the city. There's a full beautiful bar which some equally fancy drinks are made. I didn't get a drink but the people in my group enjoyed their bird bath drinks. For entrees, I liked their sweet coppa pizza especially being my first time having vodka sauce on a pizza. The spaghetti al nero was well seasoned and had a fun texture with the topped rapini and calabrian chili butter. Unfortunately, my tagliatelle was way too salty especially when eaten with the pork tesa. Our waiter was so sweet and kind that I felt too bad to say something but it really was too much to handle. I would like to think it was an error because all the other dishes looked delicious and everyone seemed to be happy with them. Overall, this is a stunning place to celebrate any occasion and parking is validated so hold on to your ticket whether it is through valet or in one of the parking decks. We were hanging out on the Beltline and was in he mood for some Italian so found this place on Yelp. They had an 8:15pm reservation available on a Saturday night so we went for it. The check in was a bit rough as our table wasn't ready and we waited for about 20 minutes, all while they were saying it would be ready any second. It was all uphill from there though. We were seated in the middle of the restaurant next to one of the supporting posts. but could see the modern decor all around us. There aren't a ton of options on the menu, but what they did have was amazing!! We started with the meatballs and they were excellent, the sauce was light but flavorful. I got the soppressata pizza which was so good. The honey was the perfect touch on this masterpiece. I also had some of the radiatori and the pasta was so fresh. The parking to the restaurant is tricky. There's a valet booth but you can park in the garage basement under the building that the restaurant is in. The restaurant will validate the garage parking ticket for the first 2 hours. Because the restaurant is tucked inside an office building and is not allowed to have sign outside so there was a small standing board in front of the building entrance, that is very easy to miss at night. Don't risk it and park in the Kroger parking lot, you might get towed. When you enter the building, there's a sign inside the elevator to inform that Indaco is located on the "Office lobby level." You can also take the elevator from the parking garage. I didn't know this at the beginning, so I walk from the basement garage all the way back to building front. But when leaving, I took the elevator straight to the parking garage. We went on a Monday night so there's plenty of seats available, though we did make a reservation. Our server, Destiny, is very attentive and friendly. She has good knowledge of the menu. She helps exchanging the side dish for me because the sauce is too spicy for my taste. The decor and ambience are modern and nice. We had: - Maine mussels: the mussels are very fresh - Crispy oysters: flavorful seasoned and tasty - Prosciutto & arugula pizza - Pan seared sea bass: the fish is alright but the rest of the dish such as the fregula and cauliflower all taste very fishy. - Crispy potatoes: the chili aioli is too spicy for me, and the potato is a bit salty. There was no chocolate cake option, so I didn't order the dessert. But it was my birthday, so Destiny brought me a chocolate soft serve with a candle. It was on the house. My daughter took me for brunch on Sunday....I can't wait to go back. We decided to try the breakfast pizza, OMG it was DELICIOUS!!!! I had it without the eggs and hot sauce, she had the eggs on the side and said they were "fire". We also had "the little gem" don't sleep on it, that's a wonderful salad, everything was fresh and the dressing was superb. We had the French toast too but we had it for dessert and it did not disappoint, babeeee yum yum yum! And please don't forget the zepploles, they were warm, they were just the right size, they were GONE before they could cool. And last but NEVER least-John. He was our server and he was GREAT!!!!!!! He was gracious and very knowledgeable about the menu, we never had to look for him he watched his tables and was very attentive. Oh and I can't forget the restaurant is GORGEOUS. I can't wait to go back at night and see the view. I can't RAVE enough about this place...it's FABULOUS P.S. Its a little tricky to find you have to go inside a building(obviously) and up on an elevator and the restaurant is right there. I wanted to like this new place so bad but I just kept getting disappointed with every dish that came out. Ambiance is beautiful, clean, modern Italian. Service was excellent and attentive. Food was just simply not good in my opinion. We got focaccia and arancini to share. Both were extremely mediocre. The focaccia was served with a bunch of shredded cheese on top on a tiny bread plate with no bread knife? The bread was only half cut-- so naturally the cheese fell over on to the table bc I had to cut the bread with my own butter knife. Just poorly thought out on how the dish should've been served. (Bread knife and bigger plate that can accommodate spillage of loose cheese). Arancini was very dry and crumbly and not cheesy or creamy like an Arancini is supposed to be. It also had this weird "porky" aftertaste like as if it was dipped in an unsavory porky juice. (I know a good Arancini and these are not it). The mushroom pizza was the most disappointing... their ricotta cheese had FAKE lemon juice. Fake lemon juice is a very obvious distinct taste and a high end Italian restaurant should not be using fake lemon juice. The bites without the lemony ricotta was excellent but the gross lemon splats of ricotta were-- less than desirable. I shared my pizza and my friend even said "that's-- different". It's so unfortunate that this beautiful pizza with a great crust, wonderful variety of mushrooms, and delicious mozzarella was ruined from the fake lemon. I absolutely Adore this place!! It's either Macy or Megan but she runs this place very well! The staff is always happy and welcoming and the food is always sooooooooo tasty! I would come here more often if I didn't recommend it to so many of my own members and guest! lol! Cheers! read more
