I've only been here for drinks but finally got the chance to try their food and it was delightful! While Rina is still on Open Table, they actually don't need you to make reservations. There was a sign right at the door that says something like, just walk right in. I would say this place is a fast casual restaurant. Not a lot of diners when we came on Friday night but had tons of take out orders. As we were seated, water and menu were dropped off at our table. I didn't get a chance to look at the full menu but felt rushed to order. Luckily, I had already looked at the menu before arriving. I ordered the spritz with a fruity twist (forgot what it was called but if you like aperol spritz, then this is for you) and my husband, a Paloma. We ordered a trio dip with charred baba ganoush, feta, and cauliflower that was served with some fresh pita bread. This was a great start to our meal and wanted more. I ordered the eggplant bowl with both lettuce and rice. Yall, the fries that were served must have been fried twice because it was crispy and saucy. Would definitely get this again, plus it was super filling. My husband ordered the falafel bowl with lettuce, and he did enjoy this as well. My only gripe is that the "bowl" is more of a platter? Food was certainly delicious and drinks were good. I like going to a restaurant that anticipates your needs, but this didn't do it for me. Rina's been on my list of restaurants to try for a while and a ton of friends have raved about it, so I had somewhat high expectations. The restaurant's as adorable as I expected, but I wasn't super impressed with the food itself. We started with the butternut squash hummus. While I liked that veggies were included with the pita, they were dry and didn't seem fresh. The hummus was fine, but oilier than I'd have liked. LOVE this Mediterranean gem located near Ponce City Market and accessible from the beltline. Never knew this restaurant was here until we were looking for food in the area. There's indoor and outdoor seating available along with a bar. They serve really good frozen cocktails! The food is also very delicious! My husband ordered the lamb burger - 10/10! Walked by this place dozens of times and finally took a stop in after a run with some friends on a Monday. Went in around 8 which was great because it was super empty. Waitress was patient and happy to do separate checks which is appreciated given how close they were to closing for the evening. Right off the beltline and the ambiance of the space was so beautiful! Falafel sandwich was the highlight of the meal for me! Loved the pickles they came with. One younger waiter was nicer than the other and gave us some insights on the pickles when we complimented on them. The amba dish was beautiful in presentation however I was disappointed in how anemic the pieces of chicken were. The roasted peppers were nice. The rice was dry. The tomato cucumber salad was a nice dish. The fries had a nice crisp to them but was lacking in flavor considering the description mentioned spices. It really needed the dip with I'm glad we asked for because it was not initially brought to us. Our original waiter was standoffish and cold. This location backs into the beltline with a walk up window. The food is Israeli-mediterranean- they serve decent portions, slightly on the expensive side but in line with beltline dining. I had a loaded hummus dish (around $14) that came with a small pita serving and crudité. The hummus dish also has a egg for added protein. The side of fries were really good for the price ($6). They come with a spicy mayo - served hot and crispy. If the window at the beltline is closed, the downstairs restaurant location is hard to access from the beltline, but for us it was worth it. If you have accessibility issues, you may want to enter from Ponce. They only serve bottle beer, but afterwards you can walk to the (murder) Kroger patio and enjoy $4 draft beers :) Very nice service, food comes out quick, and the bathrooms are clean. I've been wanting to try this place for a while so wife and I got on our bikes and rode down the East Side Beltline on a beautiful Saturday...Don't do that! If you ride your bike on the "285 of trails" do it on a Monday or Tuesday. This was just dreadful! Anyway, bike parking is very close but I've had thieves try to steal my locked bike from here before so Ulocks and alarms on your bikes people! I'm very well acquainted with Middle Eastern and Israeli food having made multiple trips to the region over the years. Had to order the mezze which was not insanely good by good enough. I ordered the shawarma and was mostly disappointed. I didn't see a shawarma spit from where I was sitting so it must've have been "shawarma inspired". I probably won't try this place again but if you are on the Eastside trail and have a hankering for Middle Eastern, go here with low expectations and hopefully you'll leave satisfied. read more

We've been to Rina a couple times now, I can confidently say the food is great everyone. We love there Hummus 0, it's light & creamy. We also both love their plate options & we know the food is made fresh! Two things that's bothered us this last time around. First- the inside of the restaurant is cute but incredibly cold. They have 5 ceiling fans cranking all evening. Clearly we were not the only people that felt this way. Secondly- on a Friday night at 7pm they ran out of their house tequila, so instead they had to up charge us for higher shelf tequila. Each cocktail was $5 more than their menu price. Not the best customer experience. I'd still recommend this place, but I'd mention to being a coat if you're sitting indoors! read more

We sat outside in the uncovered area. It was right above the dumpster, so I kept getting whiffs of that the entire time. If you sit outside, make sure it's in the covered area. Here's what I got: - Hummus ($12): Good! Wish there was one piece of pita for each person. - Falafel Salad ($16): Wow, so delicious!! Huge salad. The falafel was so crispy on the outside and fresh on the inside. Perfection. Others got the Chicken Shawarma ($16), Falafel ($15), and Spiced Lamb Burger ($18). I previously thought the purple cabbage was what made them spicy, but it was something else. If you can't do spice, I would stick to the Falafel Salad. Came here on Mother's Day for dinner with my girlfriend and it was not too busy so we decided to stop in for a quick bite. The food was alright not bad and not memorable. The steak kebabs were steak kebabs this entree was better imo than my fish and chips. It had a nice flavor and went well with the rice. My fish pieces were a bit tiny and just didn't do it for me. I enjoyed the sauces it came with. I think I would rate this a 3.5 overall the wait staff was attentive and it's in a great location. Some of the decor seemed a little off there were a number of hanging pots/planters that seemed to have died off. I don't know why this caught my eye ha there was indoor and outdoor seating. If you're seating outside can definitely people watch and see something interesting. My pita was cold and dry, the israeli salad had way too much vinegar, and the 'charred' Babaganoush tasted bland and store bought. Ended up being very disappointed, especially considering I forked over $18 for the quite unexceptional schwarma, and another 6 on basic dips. Every other person in the restaurant at 12:30 on a Tuesday was eating burgers, chicken, wings(???), and cava style bowls. Feels like I picked the wrong thing at the wrong place. Very clearly a western/American style interpretation of basic Persian food, which I'm sure is nice if you like it. Other things: the location is nice, being directly across from PCM, but the actual restaurant feels sterile and corporate. This is supposedly a third generation restaurant that started as a falafel stand in tel aviv, but you could mistake it for a bowl-style millennial chain. All of the chairs are metal, all of the decor is white or black, tile is an interesting choice. It feels like a cross between a bar and a hospital. Definitely not what I was expecting after hearing so much about this place. read more

Amazing amazing place! This was recommended by a coworker during my time in Atlanta and honestly it was so delicious. The staff is so friendly and the space is very welcoming. I felt as if I was sitting in my living room. I had the Jaffa Fish & Chips which had a magnificent Tempura batter and it paired perfectly with the falafel spice. I enjoyed the meal very much. I also topped it off with The Metzitzim which was a Mezcal based margarita that was quite refreshing. The staff made their rounds frequently that my glass was never empty. While we waited for our food to be ready, I got a to-go drink - the Hilton, which was a frozen pina colada. This drink was SO good. Not overly sweet but had great fruity flavors. When it came to the food, the chicken shwarma was delicious and tender and I loved the flavorful sauces that came on top!
