My wife and I were ready for a night out after the holiday rush. We booked a reservation for January 3. The management and staff couldn't have been more accommodating. Our table was ready when we arrived, and we were soon enjoying a great dining experience. We started with wine for my wife and a Manhattan for me. Both were exceptional. We had the option of the price fixe menu but thought it might be more food than we could handle! Camillo the manager brought us an appetizer plate with cheese and olives and artichokes. The cheese is always great, and the olives were higher quality than one normally gets in stores. We each had a salad. Mine was arugula with burrata cheese; my wife had the house salad. Either was large enough to share. I ordered the veal chop Parmesan, and my wife ordered shrimp scampi. We were given a pasta to share, and my meal came with more pasta. All of this was tasty. Needless to say I had a to-go box for the next day. All the pasta is homemade and delicately made. Likewise the pasta sauces are also flavored exceptionally well - not gloppy and overloaded with oregano! They remind me of what my Italian neighbors used to make. Of course we had desserts - cannoli and cheesecake, and Camillo dropped off a great banana dessert with gelato. Also, I don't want to overlook the decor and general ambiance. There were lots of little lights and lamps. Very congenial. This was our fourth visit within a year, and we will definitely be heading back soon. read more

This is such a fun & livelt restaurant to go to. I took my mom here when she was in town & she loved it. They had all their Christmas decorations up, provided a Santa hat & had festive holiday drinks. It was so fun! You will most definitely want to make a reservation as it is a very popular place. There's valet parking available on site. Their wine is fantastic. I ordered the chicken Parmesan and my mom got the lobster ravioli. Both were great! The chicken parm was large & could probably be split between two people. Their desert menu looked fantastic, but we were so full from our meal we didn't get dessert. My first ATL food review - what a time to be alive. Clearly, an Italian restaurant with rotating decor themes must sacrifice something in the way of food, drink, and service. Fear not - in the case of Amore e Amore, not all too much is sacrificed, but this place has definite quirks. Great, themed drink menu with plenty of offerings across the spirit spectrum, no Halloween pun intended. I'm always happy to see mocktails offered as well, and my dining partners enjoyed their drinks. Oven-warmed, unsliced bread served wrapped in a cloth napkin was a first for me, but it was very good. Caesar salad was crisp and fresh. Chicken and eggplant parms were fine albeit lacking excitement - sauce was on the sweeter side and lacked bite. Service tested our patience but timing was not inappropriate. Servers were kind and refilled table side bottled water on demand, but served tap water in aqua pana bottles, so when we ordered tap we thought we were getting up charged for fancy bottled water. We were not. The restaurant's "no sharing" policy as stated on the menu is both confusing and condescending, though I understand that some may come here for instagram photos, a shared salad, and nothing else. Sides are ordered ala carte, and $12 for a small side of spaghetti marinara is somewhat insulting. 70s and 80s hits reverberated throughout the restaurant which was fun although loud at times. The decor here is off the charts and extremely festive. Seating is comfortably spaced and clientele were definitely in a good mood. This place is a solid 3.5/5, rounded to 4. I'm not rushing back for the food or dollar value, but for a fun, themed night out, this place hits the mark. read more

Super fun themed with good food and worth checking out. Definitely a very snug spot with tables, packed closely and themed decor hanging over your head. I came with my two-year-old who much appreciated all of the decorations. The drinks are themed as well and they have a full prefix menu or you can do all the cart as well. We came for the Harry Potter theme and it didn't disappoint with decor, themed items, and even fun swag for the guests to wear like glasses, hats, and wands. The good : parking is easy in a lot with valet. Theme is super fun and different than your regular dining experience. Good was solid and flavorful and portions very generous. Staff is very friendly and flexible. The other : Noise level is pretty high so just be aware. Tables are snug and not much room to get around or maneuver inside. This place was amazing. We came when they have their Halloween decor up and it is so cute. I can't imagine how many hours they spend decorating but it is so worth it. The decor, the staff engagement, the fun songs they play and the quality of the food all make it very worth the experience. The millers pasta was so good like a deconstructed lasagna. Probably like a many others. I saw the TikTok with the Harry Potter themed menu and knew I instantly had to go. This is my first time at Amore E Amore and they were accommodating from the very beginning. For starters, I tried to make a reservation online but all their most popular times were blocked off so I called and got in no problem, but was told that there was a 90 minute table limit, which make sense. The restaurant was festive even outside with a giant black cat right by the door, so you can't miss it. Inside it is a little small but quaint and decorated immaculately. Themed appropriately with Halloween and Harry Potter decorations. It was awesome. When I arrived, I was greeted instantly, and our server tried to get my drink order right away so fast he forgot he didn't give me a menu. I'm not going to lie, he was kind of rushing us the entire time, but it could also be that he was swamped. Also, the atmosphere was so lively and friendly in there. It didn't get in the way of our time there at all. Anyway, I got the vampires kiss martini with vodka instead of gin it was absolutely delicious so much so that I got another one somewhere in between courses. We opted for the professors feast a four course menu with amazing options. We started off with a cheese and olives plate accompanied by a pesto dip, It was delicious! The Caesar salad came out shortly after which my dining companion absolutely loved. It was very delicious as well, you could definitely tell the dressing was homemade. Our second course was the rigatoni vodka. That pasta was absolutely delicious! It was the perfect size portion as well. It almost made me regret getting the steak for my entrée lol. So in between our second and third course, we got a little treat, which was a homemade lemon sorbet with a little vodka, similar to a shot. It was so good, my dinner companion said "I might have to make a bigger option and these my new go to" lol. and this restaurant is so nice and accommodating. The owner and manager walked around to make sure that everything was to our liking and that we were happy. So as I mentioned previously, I got the steak which came with a brandy sauce and mashed potatoes. I opted out of the mushrooms because I hate them but the steak was cooked perfectly, very tender and it had a great flavor. So no regrets after all. To finish off our feast we ended with an assorted dessert plate that consisted of tiramisu and a cannoli... I ate the entire plate, it was amazing and I am not a fan of cannolis. To cap off our evening, we all got witches hats, and they played music. I forgot what song it was, but it was a really good time and a great vibe in the restaurant the entire time. Avoid this place!! There are so many good Italian places in Atlanta this isn't it. Olive Garden has 10 times better quality food than here. We paid over $100 for 2 pasta dishes the chicken Parmesan and the Millers pasta (no meat). No drinks, no dessert just 2 dishes. Chicken Parmesan doesn't come with pasta they charge $18 for a tiny bowl of spaghetti to go with it. It's ridiculously overpriced and terrible quality. The service is poor since staff is very rude and tried to rush us out the door taking away food before we were finished. They tried to pressure us into ordering alcoholic drinks and when we declined and asked if they had iced tea I got an eye roll and they walked away. Actually glad I didn't order the $18 cocktail or glass of wine. After we left my husband and I couldn't stop talking about how bad it was. read more

We just recently moved to Atlanta but have absolutely loved this place. They always have a fun theme. In the summer it was circus themed, in the fall it was Halloween themed! The food is all incredible. The calamari is an essential appetizer; it's served in an amazing sauce with a little kick. The meatballs are great too but the calamari is a must. We've had several meals; all are stellar and with generous portions. The Miller's Rhapsody pasta is also a must, but the spicy lobster special and the clam linguine are amazing as well. Our favorite part about this restaurant, though, is the service and ambiance. The wait staff is always attentive. On our second trip, they remembered us from the first time. I had a hard time choosing between two entrees, so the waiter brought us a complimentary appetizer of the one that I didn't choose for my entree. They even brought us complimentary dessert one time for seemingly no special reason - just out of generosity! The wait staff is all lively and enthusiastic and they all work as a team so if one is tied up with another table we were never waiting. Not a great experience overall. Went to the valentines themed dinner, and I was very excited to go here for the first time. The decorations were cute and felt really thoughtful. I love supporting long time family owned businesses and I thought this would be our new go-to spot. Unfortunately I was wrong. The restaurant is quite small and felt cramped. The food and service were subpar based on the price we paid. The prices are absurd. I am all for paying a premium for good food and ambiance but this was not worth it. The gnocchi is $30 and it was very overcooked. Tasted gummy and stuck to our teeth. The Caesar salad was decent, and the chicken limone was alright. The side of pasta with the chicken dish is $14?! It was a tiny bowl and the pasta did not look fresh. It came out to $103 for two entrees, (no alcohol or soft drinks) and a salad without a tip. For whatever reason the manager went to every table but ours to ask how guests were enjoying their meals. I appreciate managers who seek feedback but I found it weird how they did not come up to our table. To the owner: Don't bother leaving a response. We will not be back and will continue visiting the best Italian restaurant in the area: no.246 where we can get more food, better tasting food, and great service for under $100. read more

This Italian restaurant is such a fun and memorable experience! The food is incredible--big, family-style pastas that are perfect for sharing--and the atmosphere makes it even better. The food was fresh and homemade, we started with the arugula burrata salad which they kindly split for two for us. They served fresh & hot bread for the table complimentary with to die for garlic butter. They served a lemon sorbet bite between apps and entrees as a nice palate cleanser. To eat, we ordered the millers pasta and chicken parm but what was awesome was they knew we wanted to split each entree and made us plates with both on it! Dessert we had cannolis which were also freshly made and the filling was incredible. The service was honestly one of the best we've ever experienced in Atlanta and it was nice that all the staff members tag teamed the tables. My only complaints is the chicken parm itself was very thin, so the breading was the same amount as the actual meat. He was able to answer any question we asked him, and we asked a lot. they celebrate your birthday with you -- you can't bring anything in like cake or decorations -- and give you and your table birthday hats. they write on your dessert "Happy Birthday". All of the food was really good and they even gave us a free appetizer to try out. Such a cute place for a romantic date night or a girls night out! We came around Valentine's Day so it was decked out in red and pink everywhere. Our waitress was awesome and made sure we had fresh bread and water. We ordered the caprese to share and then I got the lobster ravioli while my bf got their special veal parm. I loved the creamy lobster sauce and the little pieces of lobster that came with the ravioli, the only critique is that I thought it was a bit pricy for the amount of food I got. The veal was absolutely massive, tasted great, and imo wasn't super expensive, so I definitely think that was the better option. Where to begin... it took about 20 minutes for us to get our drinks, it took another 10 minutes for the bread, and then the meals/apps were rushed out as if to tell us to hurry up and finish. Felt like I was at a Chipotle. The food left a lot to be desired. Bland and small pasta dishes. The appetizer was melon and prosciutto that they garnished with... raisins? Salad was fine but I don't think it's possible to screw up a Caesar. The drinks just plain sucked. I ordered a Hendricks Gin Martini and it was definitely VODKA from the depths of hell. Tasted like I was at a college happy hour. The Halloween decorations were cool in the "at least they tried" type of way that they didn't bring to their food, drinks, or service. However, the music was so random (Celebrate good times for a Halloween atmosphere is a choice). One last moan and groan for the dessert. Crème Brûlée was the chunkiest custard I've ever had. I thought it was Ricotta at first. Needless to say this experience sucked. The waiter had an ego and rushed us out the door even though.... PARTY PEOPLE -- go to Amore E Amore! This was probably the funnest and most outrageous meal I had in Atlanta. We came for the Christmas pop up. Parking was either street parking or the lot beside the restaurant if there's any spaces available. There is a parking attendant working. We had to wait a few minutes for our table. We stood at the bar while waiting. The place is tiny and they pack it with lots of Christmas decorations. It's like someone vomited Christmas decor. I came across Amore E Amore on social media and saw they had a Harry Potter theme going on so I just had to stop by. Upon pulling up to the restaurant there is street parking and valet. I lucked up and found a spot right out front. As I walked in, the restaurant is very dimly lit and was decorated wall to wall with Harry Potter decorations. There was no one at the front to greet me, so after waiting for a little bit I walked to the back where the bar is. The restaurant is pretty tight (small) but has multiple rooms with tables. I found the host and asked how long the wait would be for one person. He said that there was no table for 1. After I looked at him kind of confused, he then went on to say people are waiting. I replied that I am willing to wait depending on how long the wait was. He quoted me 45min- 1hr. There were at least 5 tables that I walked past that had not been cleaned. So I was just going to grab a drink at the bar and find somewhere else to eat. Around 9 PM it's party time! The music is turned up, they gave out hats, and the bartender was going around the restaurant blowing bubbles. About 15/20min had passed and the host came to me at the bar and asked if I still wanted a table. I said sure and was seated. Once seated a server came and brought me silverware and an empty glass. He came back with warm bread & butter and a plate and took my order. I ordered the Chicken Parmigiana and asked him for water. My food came out really quickly, but I still hadn't received water, so I asked the employee who brought my food out. After 10 min the hostess came by to get wine that was next to my table and I asked home for water. Needless to say I didn't get any water for either of them. I was halfway done with my meal and I saw the owner walking through. I was able to get her attention and ask for water and mentioned that I asked multiple people prior. Right after I told her my server finally came with water. It seemed like the servers were running trying to keep up. The food was really good, but the service was not. Absolutely incredible! Cannot say enough good things about this place. The restaurant was newly decorated with Valentine's Day decor. It was the most elaborate set up. It must have taken them hours to put that all up. You'll want to come photo ready, because you need to take advantage of all that. All the staff here was very welcoming and friendly. We had to ask a couple of them to take some pictures for us, and they were more than willing! Our server was very attentive and helped us choose the best order! We started with the espresso martinis, which I sadly forgot to photograph, but all their cocktails were definitely made to be photo ready. Their espresso martini was by far the best one I've ever had. It was the perfect balance of sweet and strong, with a nice sugar rim. They also give you some complimentary bread, with a really great garlic butter. Very delicious, but don't fill up on it. You're gonna wanna save room for the very large entree dishes. We also ordered the burrata salad to start with, which I sadly didn't photograph either. It had arugula, tomatoes and a really nice vinaigrette. It was so tasty with the bread. For our entrees, we went with the chicken parm, Miller pasta, and vodka gnocchi. My recommendation-- do not skip out on the Miller pasta. The server said it was a combo of sauces, which I don't quite remember. Maybe vodka sauce, bolegnase, and one or two others I can't recall, but WOW. The chicken parm was also really great, and always a classic. My least favorite of all was the vodka gnocchi, but it was still pretty darn good. Lastly, we ordered the cheesecake and lava cake. We were so full, but we couldn't pass up desert. The lava cake was warm, ooey gooey, and chocolatey, as every lava cake should be. The cheesecake was really awesome too. Editing my review due to the response from the restaurant- I hate to say it - DON'T GO. The decor was on point but nothing else was. The staff was terribly rude and not one seemed to be in the Christmas spirit. Drinks were made terribly... how can you mess up an espresso martini when you're a Holiday pop up? Tasted like coffee liqueur and sugar syrup. Food was sup-par. Nothing stood out aa excellent and nothing I would return for. They had a balloon guy working for tips and visited tables for WAY too long. I cannot say enough about the rude staff. From our server to the food service... incredibly rude, unfriendly and seems annoyed to be there. All that said - my table had a wonderful evening with each other and tons of laughs. We did not send any food or drinks back. We ate and drank our way through the evening without 1complaint. We came here for the Harry Potter themed decor, but unfortunately, they received a cease and desist and had to take it all down. No worries though as it was halloween decorated and looked eclectic. We had a reservation well in advance for our party of 4 and were seated immediately. Parking wasn't too bad on the street, or they have valet. Our server was with us quickly and was a good balance of attentiveness, but not overbearing. We started with the mussels and they were so good! We used the complimentray bread and the bread the dish came iwth to soak up the sauce. The garlic butter that the bread came with was great as well. For my entree, I had the filet medalions and they were really good, the mushrooms were the perfect accompanment. The owner came by and engaged with my kids, taking them to shoe them things in the restaurant. They enjoyed that and the fact that there was a single person bathroom in the backroom where we were seated. All in all, this is a unique Italian restaurant with great food. Such a fun and engaging spot, great for a birthday! Made reservations for a group of 4 and loved the whole vibe. The owner passed around fun hats for everyone to wear! Loved the bread, entrees, and drinks. I ordered a lemondrop cocktail and the rigatoni bolognese - 5 stars. I would love to come back here but want to save it for another special occasion. Crazy good experience on a Friday night! Unlike any Atlanta restaurant I've been to. We originally made reservations for the Harry Potter theme they have running through October, but the food was *actually* divine. They played great music as it got darker on Friday night, even handing out fun hats to all guests when playing YMCA. The decor is so fun and sparkly, yet the low ceilings and dark lighting make it feel simultaneously cozy. Until October 31 they have added Harry Potter decor, like house flags, wizard hats, etc! The themed cocktails even come with tiny little Harry glasses on top. I got the Sinatra pasta dish with gluten free penne and it was definitely my favorite pasta dish I've ever eaten. The sauce is tomatoes, pancetta, olive oil, and herbs. Pricy at nearly $30, but for me it was WELL worth it! My sister got the Chicken Parmigiana and thoroughly enjoyed it. You can see in the picture attached that there is a thick layer of cheese over the chicken. "Tell Yelp it was wonderful." Here's the reason why I took off a star. After my sister ordered the Chicken Parm, the waiter asked what she wanted as her side, so she ordered pasta as we assumed it was included with the meal by the way he asked the question. Now we know for next time that it wasn't included, but instead added $14.50 to the bill. Steep price a side dish of plain pasta. We finished with the Flourless Chocolate Cake. Dense and fudgy like every great flourless cake, and even had a little wall of sprinkles. Would definitely return in the future. It was packed the entire time so I would make reservations well in advance if planning to visit! read more

I was there for a birthday party. There were 9 of us. We had to ask for bread 4 times and ask to order 3 times before either happened. Not sure if it was because we were a large group. I would try the restaurant again with a smaller group. Pros: Impeccable vibes. Good bread. Strong drinks. Free appetizer. Cons: Slow slow slow service.
