    Lobster roll
    Shamie D.

Call me bougie, I splurged for the lobster roll today and it was excellent! Not sure I would pay $45 again plus the 18% surcharge for service when ordering from the counter. Not usually a fan of coleslaw, however it is also pretty good. I'll be back to try some other other more reasonably priced options.

Popped in today for lunch. Food was a 12/10! Absolutely delicious! Service was impeccable! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Weather was nice so we sat outside and ate.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Such a good time!

My father-in-law is a meat and seafood specialist and recommended this place to us for the next time we visited Atlanta. We came by in the middle of the day and there was still a good number of people in this small restaurant. The service was friendly and attentive. You ordered at the cash register and the food came right out. [[HIGHLIGHT]]You could even watch the cooks make the food if you wanted to.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food was fresh and the scallop ceviche was amazing. The grouper was nice and flaky and the avocado toast had a nice addition of pickled onions. Definitely a great recommendation that I would pass on to anyone visiting Atlanta.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Can't say enough great things about fishmonger from the service to the laid back atmosphere to the flavors, to the freshness of the food, to the drinks to the music.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I was hoping to gatekeep this as long as I could, but they deserve the love! My favorites are the lobster roll [when it's there] gumbo, pasta salad, blakened grouper sandwich, and oysters!

Best tuna melt around with a unique twist that I can't quite place. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant itself is quite charming and does a lot with its bright colors & small space.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I feel like I'm going out to a fish market in the Northeast![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Will definitely be back!

I visited on a Saturday afternoon, drawn by the social media buzz around the grouper sandwich. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space is small and intimate, with seating best suited for a quick, casual meal.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff were upbeat and friendly. We tried two of the daily specials--a cucumber salad and fish tacos--and, of course, the famous grouper sandwich. Honestly, the food was a letdown. My sandwich was messy; the fish was moist and flaky, but so wet that the bun fell apart. While it's a neat place to watch a fishmonger at work and grab a fast bite, the food wasn't anything special.

    Hot Fish Sandwich

From the moment we walked in the everything was amazing. The atmosphere, the service , the FOOD! This was our first time visiting but we have placed Fishmonger in our top 3. My husband had the hot fish sandwich which was PIPING hot since it was freshly prepared and the flavors were absolutely amazing. I had the Skate Po-Boy which I loved and ate every bite of. The flavors are hard to describe because I ate everything so quick. You won't regret coming here and you'll probably come back a week later!

I'm obsessed with Fishmonger; it's one of my favorite places to grab lunch! There's a parking lot behind the strip with paid parking that's typically pretty easy to find a spot in. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside of this place is small, but it's cute. Definitely wouldn't recommend for a large group though.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food is INCREDIBLE. We (or someone in our group) has gotten almost everything on the menu, and I've never heard someone say a negative thing about what they got. My personal favorite is the Gulf Shrimp Roll. Yes, it's expensive, but this is high quality food.

Lobster Roll- not great, had to send it back. But the staff as amazing about it.

I brought my folks here to try something new and they loved it. My meal wasn't great but theirs was! The signature blacken fish sandwich was a hit and the daily special fish tacos were too! Full of flavor, good size portions, and very friendly staff! [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a small space but they are def worth a visit.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We'll definitely be back.

I've been wanting to try Fiskmonger for some time! Unfortunately, the food is mid and severely overpriced!! We paid $96 for 2 fish sandwiches, 2 sides and a bowl of super watery clam chowder. I don't mind paying for good food! I was super disappointed. You are also charged 20% gratuity for someone dropping off your food! However, she was nice, friendly and helpful.. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The store is super small and gets crowded quickly![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]But, I liked the esthetics of Resturant... They do have outside seating[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]...

    Blackened Grouper Sandwich
    Niyah H.

A hidden gem that absolutely delivers! I stopped by Fishmonger and was instantly impressed. Even though the place was packed, the staff handled the rush like pros. Friendly, efficient, and upbeat service all around. I ordered the grouper sandwich and gumbo, and both were chef's kiss. The grouper was perfectly cooked--crispy on the outside, tender inside, and full of flavor. The gumbo had a rich, bold taste with just the right amount of heat. I also tried the brown butter potatoes, and let me tell you... I devoured them. So buttery and crispy--I could've eaten a second helping. Tried a bite of the catfish sandwich too, and it's definitely another winner. Honestly, I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu. Even with a full house, they kept the quality high and the vibes chill.

    Shrimp ceviche

The $22 grouper sandwich is made without a pinch of salt. The shrimp ceviche was good until I realized THEY DONT CLEAN THE SHRIMP. None of the shrimp is split down the back to take out the poop. that is not a vein. The vein is on the inside of the shrimp. That is alarming for a seafood place. Overall, overpriced. Plus 18% gratuity added to all sit in orders. $1 added to all to go orders.

    Scallop crudo
    Kamille H.

The hot fish sandwich went viral this year, but the best items on the menu are the scallop crudo and blackened grouper Caesar salad! On a warm day it's the perfect meal. This location does not serve alcohol, but you can purchase next door and BYOB. The staff are friendly and inviting. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Keep in mind it is a small space, not ideal for large groups.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Now that we've gotten that out of the way... This has been my farmers market ever since I moved to Atlanta 10 years ago. What keeps me coming back isn't just what they have--it's who they have. The staff here has always made me feel like family. Whether it's the sweet gentleman who cuts the fresh pineapple, the gentleman preparing fresh coconut water, or the ladies at the checkout counters, everyone is consistently warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. Those interactions may seem small, but they're a big part of why I continue to return year after year. Of course, the selection is incredible as well. This is where I buy most of my fresh fruit, a lot of my meat, and--let's be honest--my desserts too. Speaking of dessert, there is one item I absolutely have to mention: the fruit tart. I've tried fruit tarts from all over, and I can honestly say this market has my favorite one. Every single year, it's become my birthday tradition to pick one up, and I look forward to it just as much as the celebration itself. It really is that good. One thing I've always appreciated is the consistency. No matter which part of Georgia I've lived in over the past decade, I've continued making the drive because I know exactly what kind of experience I'm going to have every time I walk through the doors. A couple of helpful tips if you're visiting for the first time: * While the parking lot can look busy, I've almost always been able to find a space. You may have to park a little farther away, but a few extra steps are well worth it. * Also, be sure to come prepared--this market accepts debit cards or cash only, so credit cards aren't accepted. There are plenty of farmers markets around Atlanta, but this one has always felt like home to me. Between the incredible selection, consistently fresh products, and the kindness of the people who work here, it's a place I'll continue returning to for years to come.

My friend kept calling it a seafood dip, so I wasn't exactly sure what I was looking for. I was genuinely impressed by how eager everyone was to help. Employees from multiple departments worked together to figure it out, and we eventually discovered it was a seafood salad thawing in the back. That level of customer service made a great impression. I've already been back since that visit. I've always shopped at DeKalb Farmers Market or Whole Foods, but Fresh Market has unique products, a smaller and more enjoyable shopping experience, and excellent service. Lately I've been focusing on eating healthier, so I don't mind paying a little more for higher quality food, especially when it's paired with such a great customer experience. New Customer Right here!

I won't be coming back after what I witnessed today regarding food handling and sanitation…read more I ordered chicken wings, and the employee handling my order did not change gloves before preparing my food. Instead, she grabbed a pair of tongs that had been sitting on the counter with visible sauce residue from another food item still on them and used those same tongs to pick up my chicken wings. It was incredibly unsanitary. I have no idea how long those tongs had been sitting there, what foods they had previously been used for, or whether they had been cleaned. The employee herself seemed unsure which tongs to use, which only made the situation more concerning. I also observed another employee repeatedly handling food without changing gloves. He was in the back cutting and preparing meat, then helping customers, touching the scale, touchscreen, and other surfaces with the same gloves before returning to continue handling the meat. Gloves are supposed to prevent contamination, not transfer bacteria and residue between food, equipment, and customer-contact surfaces. Unfortunately, this is not the first time I've noticed these sanitation issues at this deli. I've seen similar practices on previous visits, and it appears to be an ongoing problem rather than a one-time mistake. For the prices customers are paying, basic food safety standards should be expected. Cross-contamination and improper glove use are not minor issues, especially in a department handling ready-to-eat foods. On a positive note, the fish market on the other side is consistently clean, professional, and appears to take sanitation seriously. The difference between the two departments is very noticeable. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and provides additional food safety training for staff. What I witnessed today was unacceptable and left me with very little confidence in the cleanliness and food handling practices of the deli.
