This venue is at the end of a strip mall. I have seen this place multiple times but I have never visited. Today was the day I decided to check them out. They sell wine, seasoning, dips, fresh seafood, and frozen meals. I like the set up and the customer service is nice. I bought a trout dip and crab pasta. Looking forward to trying the food.

If you're craving lobster rolls, Kathleen's Catch is a spot to check out without breaking the bank! The small market is pretty clean and have a number of fresh seafoods daily. Each location generally offers the same with slight variations based on customer requests. For $15.99/roll, you get a toasted brioche hot dog bun and lobster meat mixed with mayonnaise and chopped onions. Ordered this to-go so it came separately and I assembled the roll at home. Honestly, it did not look like much when I opened it up. However, when I filled the bun with the lobster mix, it looked much more appealing. Overall, the bun was very tasty! Good amounts of lobster chunks. I really enjoyed the onion addition to the mix. https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/kathleens-catch-brookhaven-brookhaven?reviewid=nFLKiYKfW9vlRT-HoS7tMA&select=PlSTM8g0Gip7Qm4V2ktWMg&utm_campaign=www_photo_share_popup&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_source=(direct) There's also shucked oysters and clam chowder too. Overall, it's a small shop. Don't come expecting something you'd find at a 5-star restaurant. This is more to-go/food truck vibes...similar to Cousins Maine Lobster (but cheaper!) Definitely worth a try~

I lucked out and was able to secure some pristinely fresh Copper River King Salmon the other day, and it was beyond amazing! I highly recommend Kathleen's Catch, as all of the items offered are super fresh, and the store itself is very clean & well organized. Do try the smoked trout dip, it's to die for!

What a cute little shop! There's fresh seafood on display and more options frozen and refrigerated. You can also pick up a bottle of wine or bubbly what charcuterie staples while you're here. My primary reason for visiting was the lobster roll. As others have noted, it is expensive and small, but packed with lots of fresh lobster meat. I can definitely see myself coming back here to try some of the fresh seafood. The people who work here are also super friendly and available to help.

The best lobster roll in Atlanta! They make it fresh in house. It comes with a side of kettle chips

I ordered the lobster roll to eat on site. It wasn't worth the money. Lobster was tasty but sparse & roll was greasy

A trip around the world and a walk down memory lane…read more It's been decades since I stepped foot inside the Buford Highway Farmers Market, and being back felt like a beautiful reunion. The last time I walked these aisles, I was with my mama, Donna Theresa. So much has changed since then, yet the soul of this place remains as vibrant as ever. It feels more expansive than I remember. A true global treasure tucked right here in the city. I'm still obsessed with how they organize the aisles by country. In just one afternoon, I traveled from Korea to Eastern Europe to Central America, no passport required! I was officially "team sample" the moment they offered! Unlike the heavy, sugary profile of traditional American cakes, these were a masterclass in balance. I tried the Neapolitan, a stunning phyllo-layered creation that was light, buttery, and perfectly textured. But the Lemon Cream Cake? It stole the entire show. It looked picture-perfect on the shelf, and the taste was even better. It was so bright, airy, and just the right amount of decadence. Coming back here wasn't just a grocery trip; it was a win for my palate and my heart. Now that I'm back in the area, you can bet this is becoming a regular stop on my rotation. This market routinely…read moresells old/expiring goods because there's too much sh*t in the store to keep up with inventory (see others' reviews). This is by far this market's biggest drawback. I purchased a pack of tofu along with some other items on March 11. I open the fridge a few days later on March 15, finally ready to prepare the tofu, just to see that the exp date on the pack was March 10. This picture was taken March 15 upon this discovery. I meant to update this review a while ago. I just can't spend money here anymore knowing that I'm liable to accidentally purchase old products. As customers, we should not have to be this vigilant at a grocery store... it's ridiculous.

They sell pickled vegetables in open buckets with no lid, in a refrigerated section that has black gunk stuck to its walls. It's just..... no. I hate that I don't have pictures to back up this review but the health safety practices in here are definitely questionable. Call me whatever you like, but it really irks me going somewhere and no one even bothers to try and speak English with you, nor refer you to someone who does if they can't. The service is generally poor, and the employees will act like you don't exist if you don't look like you speak Spanish (I'm sorry to say it but it's true). My [Black] husband does, and their attitude changed immediately as soon as they realize he's hispanic which is CRAZY to see in real time. They have 1000 security guards standing around that are constantly watching over every move... it's simply unfriendly and quite frankly, hostile. I just never like my experience here and it doesn't change each time I try to go back. I love a good international market. But my experience here was lowkey (and unexpectedly) dark and moody. I was ready to go not long after I walked in. I'd recommend City Farmers for produce and produce only. They truly have the best avocado prices in the area. I'll give them that.

I highly recommend checking them out however, with all the options it was veryy busy on a weekday around 3 pm so I would advise to come during their off hours if you can.

We hadn't been in years, but it's still every bit the Atlanta staple if you know, you know. We came toward the tail end of lunch and the service was still phenomenal. My mom got the platter, I had the fried shrimp with spinach and a cup of clam chowder (I'm a clam chowder girl, and this one was solid lots of clams). We also shared a fried lobster tail "for dessert," which ended up being my mom's favorite. Everything tasted fresh like it actually came from the Atlantic, not sitting around. Portions were definitely on the heavier side for lunch, but we had plenty to take home, so no complaints there. Overall, just a solid, reliable Atlanta spot. Would definitely come back.

I came for happy hour around 5ish. I believe it ends at 6:30. I ordered the lobster roll for $24, a…read morerainbow roll that was $8 for four pieces, and a glass of sauvignon blanc for $8. Let's start with the good. The wine pour was heavy and I definitely appreciated that. For eight dollars that was solid. The rainbow roll for eight dollars was also fair for happy hour pricing. Now the lobster roll. It just was not worth $24 to me. The lobster meat was tough and not juicy. It wasn't seasoned properly at all. I actually had to add salt, which I hate doing because then it just sits on top instead of being cooked into the food. It was buttery, yes, but it mostly tasted like lobster and butter with no real flavor. The bread also fell apart which was annoying. I really wish they would have grilled or toasted it more so it could hold together better. Service was a little disappointing. When I first sat down my server was a girl named Joe. After a while it felt like there was a shift change because suddenly there were several staff members around and no one was really checking on me. I was sitting at the bar so I do not think there was a reason to overlook me. I noticed bartenders having conversations with other guests, but no one really bothered to see if I needed anything else. It felt like once I had my food, I was forgotten. Overall, decent happy hour pricing on drinks and sushi, but the lobster roll and the lack of consistent service would make me think twice about ordering that again.
