Beef bulgogi bowl
Katelyn J.

The food was absolutely delicious! Fresh, flavorful, and portion sizes are incredibly generous. Sang Lee served us and he is so kind and generally good to be around. The entire store feels homey, was very clean, and overall the experience was amazing! I came all the way from Montgomery, Alabama to try this place and it was well worth the drive! 100/10 will be returning.

Bowl with sushi rice, beef boolgogi, spicy chicken, a bunch of veggies, boolgogi sauce, sesame oil, and boolgogi sauce. SO GOOD!

Possibly the best meal I've had in Georgia, and I've had some great meals! I got a bowl with sushi rice, beef boolgogi and spicy chicken + a bunch of toppings. It was so good I might have to come back tomorrow. The only thing I would change is not getting sauce on top. The meat is already so filled with sauce I didn't need the extra, even though it was also really tasty! I got the boolgogi sauce, with a drizzle of sesame oil, and a side of the spicy sauce.

I was In the area at the hospital and wanted something less greasy so I amazed to come across this place! The service was absolutely great. Since I only got spring mix as my base, the associate helped me choose a lot of toppings like spinach, Masago, seaweed salad. The poke bowl was really delicious and the salmon and tuna was so fresh. I appreciated the portions and the fact that most of the toppings were not limited to just one or two per category. It really made my day to be able to get a poke bowl since I was trying not to go far! I'd definitely go again and try the Bulgogi bowls!

I like this place. The workers are nice and don't rush you, and the poke bowls are good. My only note is that you should not get a salad base if you're very hungry. I went on a Saturday afternoon and it was pretty empty. Most people ordered to-go, so there was plenty of seating

OMG! You will not be disappointed with BullGogi. The food is healthy but very flavorful and colorful. The owner of the restaurant creates the bowls for you and he know exactly what to put on each bowl to cater to your own personal taste. Whatever he recommends, just do it! He knows exactly what will give you the best experience in regards to your food. I recommend this place to everyone. I had the BullGogi bowl with ToFu! The ToFu is so fresh and so delicious that I wanted more. Please try BullGogi in Decatur. You will not be disappointed.

I'm always in for trying new Korean food! BullGogi is set up where you can build your own bowl and toppings. They also have a few simple apps you can get. They have two types of bowls- poke or meat. You can pick the base (various rice or greens), the protein, the toppings and the sauce. I got the brown rice, beef, variety of toppings and the Korean hot sauce. The man behind the counter was kind and recommended things to add to my entree. It was so delicious. Plenty of flavor, fresh ingredients. I tried my friend's poke bowl and the tuna was really nice as well. We all left with our bellies full and happy! It was a fast and simple experience for lunch.

Sushi rice and salmon bowl with spicy mayo sauce, sriracha, and yum yum sauce.

I was recommended to go to this restaurant, and I happen to love poke bowls, so this sparked an interest for me to try out this restaurant! I got a poke bowl of sushi rice and salmon topped with avocados, edamame and spicy radish! I added the yum yum, sriracha, and spicy mayo sauce. I really liked my bowl, but the only suggestion that I have was that the sushi slices should have been cut smaller, because it was hard to chew. I also wished that's there was more rice, and not truly mixed for people to have a preference whether they want to mix their poké bowl completely. My bowl looked very nice!

Poke seems to be popping up all over town huh?! Works for me, because I love it. This place will be added to a list of Poke faves. Located in an unassuming shopping center, this place is very modern and bright on the inside. In addition to Poke, one can get a variety of bowls( chicken, tofu, beef, veggie). Customer service: Great. A man who I'm assuming was the manager, came up to us and asked how we'd heard about them. He also asked us if we were satisfied and offered us some polite conversation. Bowls: both myself and my friend has Poke bowls. I opted for tuna and salmon because making decisions is hard for me. I'm a regular Poke Bowl eater so the process was simple. Tell them what you want in the bowl. Boom. Average prices for a Poke bowl. Very fresh fish and tasty ingredients. Light, but filling at the same time. Guilt free meals offered here. Check it out! Will certainly be back!

The boss here is a very friendly and professional women. She makes sure you get a good meal. One of my bullgogi meats had a weird mark on it but I didn't noticed it. She did and pointed it out that it's only a burnt mark and not to worry. That is a model employee who cares about their customers. Can't get that type of parental feel in a restaurant setting. The prices here are fair at around 8-9$ a bowl. I always recommend splitting my protein into two different kinds since you have 2 scoops of protein on your bowl. Veggie and other toppings are unlimited and you have lots of rice to choose from (fried rice, brown rice, white rice, sushi rice, and etc). I love coming here and will be back. Good atmosphere, great staff, good and clean food. All positive vibes around. A must try. Only downside is that the bowls don't feel as filling. In the end, I felt satisfied but not stuffed. Come here for a more of a small/snack meal.

I got there early was able to get a seat and tried a Tokyo Autumn which is made with vodka, ginger beer, ginger, cucumber and mint--extremely refreshing and a nice way to start off the meal. We did food family style. We ordered the addictive cabbage which is made with raw cabbage, sesame oil and fried garlic chips (super tasty and I understand why they call it that) as well as the smoked scallop. It has an amazing presentation and the sauce I was able to put on the cabbage as well. It only has 2 pieces but was worth it. For the rolls, we ordered the Picante (not pictured), Fujisan and Love Triangle. My favorite roll was the picante because of the spice and the Fujisan had too much imitation crab meat for my liking. Quiet, unassuming spot that has booth seating and tables with chairs that could fit groups of up to 4-5 comfortably. There were two servers who rotated and were helping all the tables and were very sweet. I'll definitely come back!

The service is friendly and genuine -- you can tell these folks like what they do. And you can taste it in the food. There are Koreans in the kitchen and that is also deliciously obvious!!! These bowls are just so chonky... you really get your money's worth. Now I've ordered from here many times without issue, but they happened to forget one of our proteins in both poke bowls on my most recent visit. Thank God we decided to sit in on their quaint patio as the evening was beautiful, and luckily we caught the mistake. But there truly wasn't an issue at all -- the nice lady working the front was so embarrassed about it and made sure to DOUBLE the already huge portion. Wowieeee it was sooo good. I had the other half left for the inevitable future attack of munchies. I also had the tteokbokki and Thai Tea. I wish we ordered more of the rice cakes; they were INHALED. Great appetizer portion for two. It was just the right balance of sticky, sweet, spicy, and savory on the most deliciously plump morsels. I also enjoyed the Thai tea although it was clearly made with a powder -- I asked for the least amount of sweetness and they delivered though! You can choose almond milk for no extra charge too. The boba wasn't spectacular but at least it was built into the price. The location can be a bit difficult to get to. It's in between Mellow Mushroom and Starbucks in the infamously packed Trader Joe's plaza across from Piedmont (and adjacent to the beltline). We happened to visit during the Shaky Knees festival. Didn't stop me from fighting for a parking space at all though... it's too good to not put up that fight! Obsessed.

The stir-fry vegetables were warm and there was a large portion amount of protein. That's what differentiates it from the bibimbap. The staff member at the front was very kind, greeted me when I came in and the food was prepared in less than 10 minutes. The $20 for a single bowl caught me off guard for a casual restaurant, thinking about competitors like Gusto, and Cava. Enjoy!

Just shut the place down already. The vibe emanating from this poke spot is truly insufferable,…read moremostly because of the staff this time around. The poke is middle of the road at best, so the customer experience is important to really sell the product and retain the client here... So why are customers a sounding board for staff to complain about management?! "Vicky only cares about us if we're making her money"... ummmm yeah that's kinda how a job works? Lord help our young people. I have spent many years in and out of food service and I genuinely could not understand how they couldn't handle average order volume without becoming angry with or around customers? I rarely do this type of review but the experience here was so unprofessional that I had to... this refers to the service provided by a young albino man and a young black woman with braids. Their misery fed off of each other. Just angrily throwing ingredients every which way. And you already know the order was wrong... We were wayyyy in Smyrna when we placed an order to go, drove for 20min to pickup on the way home and STILL had to wait an extra 20min for what's supposed to be fast casual. There were maybe 5 active orders, and that's counting online and in-store. This job literally requires you to scoop and package... it's not that hard. Miss mamas was snapping at EVERYONE who came through the door and her counterpart was just eating it up. MISERABLE. I have never seen that type of behavior so brazen behind a counter. I still cannot wrap my head around why people who don't like people choose customer service for employment??? The owner needs to cut ties with these two immediately. It is better to cut your losses early than have your own employees deterring your business! Add in the very questionable health scores and dirty tables (that I'm sure those two contribute to) and it's just not worth a return, no matter how good their loyalty program is.
