Perfect neighborhood spot for friends and family. I saw this place on Atlanta Eats and couldn't wait to try! Great Asian fusion inspired menu. We had green beans, chicken, fried rice, dumplings, pizza, Brussels and more. Everything was delicious. Plates made for sharing with prices $9-20. Cocktails were good as well. Ginger one was the fave.

There was not ONE bad bite. Literally loved everything we got and we got a ton of food! The service was amazing. Our server was Isaac, highly recommend. Since it was our first time, he explained the menu and gave great suggestions. I loved that the restaurant felt like it was apart of the neighborhood and really homey. I will be back and I'm still thinking about the seasons street fries, the miso chocolate cookies, the coconut curry pizza, and the biscoff cake. No notes!!

Our server was super helpful with giving us a lot of information to decide what drink and food we wanted to order. They were very knowledgeable about the flavor profiles of everything on the menu. The restaurant is small but super cute vibe inside and I never felt crowded. Their drink list is super unique with fun variations of things you would find on a normal cocktail list. My favorite dish was the shumai. We ordered one of their pizzas because they are known for them and it was good but I think I would rather try their more unique entrees next time. We did end up staying for our full allotted reservation time because the time that the food took. They do warn you that pizza takes longer to come out so be prepared to be patient. It won't be hard because they bring out your food as it's ready so you can snack while waiting and try a few of their great drink options.

Wow. This was an excellent meal all around. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the warmth, fun, and excitement; both from the staff and the perfect cozy a space that embodies the neighborhood. Do you want to know about the food? Incredible. Every dish we had feels like it was made with intention. Handmade potstickers are bold, and fresh which felt comforting while still being creative. The wahoo cakes were a hidden gem on the menu, I'm not sure why more places don't have them. Lastly, the General Tsao pizza was an interesting choice that ended up as pure perfection. Lastly, grab that campfire drink, you're not going to be sad that it was incredible. Jen Chan's is the place you want to be. It's the kind of neighborhood spot you end up telling all your friends about. If I could give it more stars, I would!

Jen Chans is a trendy, fusion restaraunt. It is very unique in its food and environment. It is LGBTQ+ owned. The service is very warm and accepting and everyone is nice. We ordered the egg rolls and the pizza. It is handmade and scratch. If you do not have a diverse palate, I wouldn't recommend. I loved the bugolgi pizza. If you're looking for a different experience, you should try it out!

The food was amazing. Asian fusion. The General Tso's Chicken and Waffle was a perfect blend of spicy and sweet. The blueberry pop tart was great. Staff was excellent. Be sure to book reservations.

Coco curry noodle w/ Mongolian beef - lacking in flavor

I didn't have the best takeout experience. I ordered online and chose the option for curbside. They ask you how to identify your car, etc and the confirmation email tells you to call when you arrive. Curbside was a major reason I chose to order because I know parking can be tough in that area and I was exhausted so wanted to get in and out. But when I arrived and called they first didn't answer then answered but told me they were too busy for curbside. So I had to circle around and eventually park illegally praying I didn't get towed to run in to get my food. I just wish they had said upfront curbside wasn't available because I would have ordered elsewhere. Their page also never updated to tell me when my food was ready, I just decided I was tired of waiting. Service was so-so. I didn't feel like they cared too much since I was a takeout customer. For dinner I ordered the Coco Curry Noodles with Mongolian Beef. It had spice to it, but not a lot of flavor otherwise. Really bummed because I've been excited to try JenChan's. I may try one more time but only for dine-in. Parking: not great, limited street spots.

Oh my gaaaaaaaawddd WHAT! I love this place! Ate dinner tonight here for the first time and I would come back every week. The Vietnamese Pork Pizza is the true LOML. The gluten free dough is the best of the best. It's soaked in chili oil, it's crispy af. The pork is delicious. It's covered in slaw. The Yook Baeng Loco Moco is just the coziest dish, it made me feel so warm and happy. The softest pork and gravy over rice and bok choy. Service was great, vibes inside the restaurant were very cool. We sat by a window and the doors were propped open for the lovely early fall weather we are having. Overall exquisite.

JenChan's is one of my favorite low key places to dine in ATL. The menu items change every now and then, so I think they use some seasonal ingredients to spice it up. It's a queer friendly restaurant so that's important to me personally. You can get a Gay Card for discounts on future meals and a free margarita. Don't tell anyone, but the ginger margarita is the best margarita I've had in my life. They have board games and cards for large groups/families. Pizza is delish. The parking can be a nightmare it's on a very small street.

Yelp's description of this place is misleading. I was expecting an unappealing fusion of Asian and pizza, when actually it's an exciting culinary adventure infusing a variety of cuisines successfully. So much awesomeness here: seasonal cocktails (housemade hot cider with whiskey), do not miss the melt-in-your-mouth dumplings. Fresh veggies and generous portions in our meals. Loved the Mongolian beef burrito. Our server was wonderful too.

Why didn't anyone tell me this restaurant has been open for the past 5 years?! So glad we discovered it. The food is AMAZING and so full of flavor. Who would think to put Mongolian beef with fried rice and pineapple?! The pork egg rolls with the duck sauce were also too good! If you like steamed dumplings they have some good ones. The cocktails were delicious! Really enjoyed the frozen tequila based one. The service was so great from everyone. It's kid friendly too. The decor is unique and feels like a great place to enjoy a great meal with people you love. Can't wait to go back to try the pizzas!

We LOVED JenChan's! We have heard so much about it but finally made it around to coming and now it might be one of our go-to's in the area. Everything we had was great, they have vegan, gluten-free and other options and accommodated well to everyone's respective dietary restrictions in our large group. Great place!

Frozen ginger margarita was next level. All the food is so well seasoned and flavored. The pizza - BOMB! The fries, amazing. And I love the energy and the vibe. Sitting in this restaurant is like a warm hug. So sad I don't live in Atlanta because if I did, I'd be there once a week.

Boy oh boy! The…read morefirst and definitely not last. This food was so great. Every time I visit ATL this will be added to my come backs. The basil chicken was so good. But the green beans with pork were my favorite. The pork medallions were so tender. The salt and pepper shrimp was lacking of flavor. The corn chicken soup was great, so was the hot and sour. But their wonton was a hit and I crave more. The restaurant is nicely preserved in time I feel. There are so many celebrities with photos who have come and gone from this world. Staffing was a little slow, but that's ok because there's no rush. They were all nice and friendly.

It's an Upscale Panda Express, Lol!…read more Service was not great, especially at the bar. The table next to us waited about 30 minutes just to get their drinks. When we sat at the bar, the bartender told us he would not serve food. He seemed unhappy, too busy, and had an overworked attitude, then asked us to order from a table and wait for seating, even though other customers were already ordering and eating at the bar. We waited over an hour for a table, then another 40 minutes for our food. When the food finally arrived, it was cold. When we asked the waitress why it was so busy that our food came out cold, she said it is usually like this during conventions. After waiting that long, we expected the food to be amazing, especially with so many celebrity photos on the wall. Instead, it felt like an overpriced, dressed-up Panda Express. Finding a big lump of flour in my corn soup was unacceptable. Definitely not the quality you would expect unless it was fast food or Panda Express. Extremely disappointed. Would not recommend, unless you enjoy overpriced, underwhelming food surrounded by celebrity photos. Perhaps there are limited Chinese food options nearby, which may explain the popularity.

Everything is cooked to order and it was so good that I had it 2 days in a row. The woman that owns this location is SUPER SWEET and POLITE...even when her customers aren't and I appreciate her and the energy that takes. DAY 1: Mongolian Triple with Fried Rice & Lemon Pepper Wings. Spring Rolls. My only complaint was too many onions...but it was super good. And the Lemon Pepper wings...I have never had them so lemony and they were cooked just right! Day 2: General Tso Chicken with Shrimp fried rice. Honey Lemon Pepper wings and Lemon Pepper with Fries. The shrimp in the rice was cleaned and deveined regardless of the size and that is rare but APPRECIATED! The rice DID NOT have peas and carrots....YEEEEESSSSS!!!!! Everything was cooked fresh and the General Tso was on a lunch special that was more than enough to get full at lunch. My ONLY complaint is they dont tie the bags secure so you take the chance of losing some of your sauce/gravy in the bag. Other than that, this is my new favorite place.

First time trying Chong Qing Hot Pot for lunch, located inside Chinatown Market, and walking in…read morehonestly felt like stepping straight into China. The whole setup is like a mini food hall with several authentic Chinese spots to choose from--but Chong Qing is where I landed. I ordered the crispy chicken with garlic sauce and swapped the white rice for a side of house lo mein (yes, it's an upcharge, but worth it). Everything came out on real dishes--not to-go boxes--which I loved. You order and pay at the counter, grab a seat, and they bring the food out to you. Now let's talk about the food... DELICIOUS. The spice level was just right--flavorful with a nice kick, but not overpowering. If you like it hotter, you can definitely add more heat, but I was perfectly satisfied as is. The lo mein was really good too--veggies were fresh with a nice crisp (those onions and carrots were hitting!), and everything tasted well-balanced. Only small note: I wish there was a little more meat in the dish, but it didn't take away from the overall experience. And let me say this--the portion size is VERY generous. I ate until I was full and still had just as much left to take home, which is always a win in my book. All in all, I'll definitely be back to try more. If you're in Chinatown Market and not sure what to pick, Chong Qing Hot Pot is a solid choice. 4/5 stars for me!
