Visited last week to celebrate a bday. They opened at 5 and arrived at that time. There's street parking and garages nearby or valet. The restaurant is decorated beautifully. We were seated quickly. The staff was very professional and knowledgeable. We had an amazing server, Ellie or Elliott... I can't recall which but he was a very nice young man with such a great personality. It matched our vibe. He had menu recommendations and answered all od our questions. I had oxtail egg rolls, chicken fried rice and butter cake. The egg rolls and rice were piping hot temperature wise. No complaints there. I didn't care for the egg rolls, due to the cheese in them. It was just odd. They were seasoned well though. I took my wife to Lo Kee for her birthday dinner and it was an amazing dinning experience. We decided to do the summer menu that included appetizer, main course and desert. Everything we ordered was delicious. Also, the food was shareable so we each got to try everything. The service was great. My only complaint is the tables are extremely too close together. I was super excited to try the spot. Parking is across the street in the garage valet is available on the 4th floor of the parking garage so you have to ride around to get a spot. There is an automatic 20% service fee added on ALL CHECKS just fyi. Nitty gritty Andrew was our server which was great btw! The food was aight. My shrimp dumplings was no different from a frozen Har Gow from the store steamed in a cute dim sum basket with chopped up truffles on top 4 for $20 that's almost 2 bags of the same thing at Costco's. The peppered beef was too sweet for me and the beef texture threw me off it was like a fried tofu or overly tenderized non beef chew. Tempura shrimp was a take on bang bang shrimp. The bao buns was ok again with the sweet sauce ontop and sweet apple ontop we weren't feeling it. The ambiance was cool and cute music was a plus all the throw backs. A cute spot to chill and take some bites but everything did have a sweet hint to all the food. Rating this a 5 star because I honestly have nothing negative to say. Parking was relatively easy at the Interlock parking garage across the street. The restaurant is not hard to find and the ambiance is chefs kiss immediately when you walk in. The lights are dim but not too dim and the music was a reasonable volume and they definitely played some bops lol. My party of 3 had a reservation, we were slightly late but they still sat us. Our server, Alexis, was lovely. We were celebrating our bride to be and she allowed us time to open bridesmaid boxes. Food: I went with options that were constantly praised on social media and I was not let down. The lychee martini was good, but if you're a texture person then you may not like the creamy feel. So I want to be completely honest with my review because Atlanta is known for hyping restaurants up and then not living up to the hype. Starting with the service, it was honestly amazing from the door to the table to the bar. Everyone I came in contact with was very hospitable and made our experience great. However, the food was underwhelming. We ordered every single appetizer that our server suggested. I will give them. The appetizers are good with notable mentions for the tuna spoons, the oxtail, spring rolls, and the dumplings. The entrées, though were not my favorite. The filet mignon is more of a beef and broccoli situation and although we knew that it easily gave me a higher end mall Chinese food. The fried rice was extremely dry. We had the lobster and the shrimp. The lobster fried rice had little tomato no lobster in it and for the price it was disappointing. We also got chicken lo mein which probably was the best entrée we had. I will say the drinks are amazing if I had to choose I would probably go back and just get drinks and appetizers. One note for the restaurant, we had the spare ribs which were extremely red on the inside and had a very tangy taste, and unfortunately everyone at my table that had it the next day was running to the restroom. That was the only common denominator we could find. Our food did come out in a timely manner however, some of it was lukewarm, it gives they may make them in batch and bring them out. Great evening. Carlton the waiter was fun and had all the in's on what to get. Walking in on a rainy Friday it was a tad slow BUT I was told to not let that fool me - make a reservation. Also it was not a ton of lobster. The beef and broccoli was good and probably the best flavor wise of everything we got. I love Bok Choy and there's was good and cut into small pieces. Great service. The waiters were sweet and kind but not very informative. It felt like teenagers not grown adults. Although they were very nice. Our waiter was a doll but kept giggling when he made a mistake which took it from feeling like an elegant evening to chiles bar and grill. Comfortable seating and great music throughout. Service was a highlight; the staff were attentive and friendly, and food came out without a long wait. One thing to note is that it is on the pricier side. Entrées are à la carte, so if you want sides, those come at an additional cost, which can add up quickly. For food, I had the sea bass. The sauce was delicious and really carried the dish, but the fish itself was just okay. I also tried the vegetable lo mein, which I actually enjoyed more -- especially after adding some of the sauce from the sea bass. In hindsight, I probably would've just ordered the lo mein as my main. Some of my family members had the fried rice and really liked it. We also ordered sake, but all of the options were served cold, it would've been nice to have a warm sake option available. This is one of my favorite restaurants I have tried recently!! The food was all absolutely amazing, and so unique. The vibe is moody and perfect for a girls night or date night. We went during the week, but I can imagine the bar gets busy during the weekend! It's in West Midtown right by everywhere else you want to be! Great spot to grab drinks before a dinner or something as well. Ok parking.... They only have Valet and it's a set fee of $20!! I've never heard of valet that expensive for a dinner. We were able to find street parking around the corner that only cost like $4 or $6, so definitely do that if you can! We were in the party section which is separate from the main restaurant because it was 10 of us The ambience is everything and the service was even better. They have several Asian inspired food options and array of appetizers to choose from and then several signature dishes that were yummy! It's located next to the Interlock building in West Midtown. They offer valet for $20, or you can self-park in the garage next door. The garage can be confusing. Elevators and stairs are in different places on each floor and drop you off on different sides of the building. Floors are labeled with "F" in the stairs and "G" in the elevator, which makes it even more confusing. Take a photo of where you park. We took the stairs down, which exited close to the restaurant, but it's a one-way door, so we couldn't get back in. It took a while to find our car afterward, so just be prepared. The restaurant gets busier as the night goes on, so it's best to make a reservation for weekend dinners. The interior has a nice contemporary "West-meets-East" design. Double white tablecloths look elegant but can get messy easily. Service was excellent. Our server, Joshua, was knowledgeable, friendly, and very attentive. We ordered: * Lobster Spoons: a definite hit. * Apple Salad: good, but it's literally all apples with dressing, not a mixed salad. My family enjoy it. * Short Rib Bao Buns: soft buns and tender pork belly. Not my personal favorite, but great for meat lovers. * Shrimp Steamed Dumplings: another hit. Fresh shrimp and perfectly thin dumpling skin. * Grand Marnier Jumbo Prawns: we all loved this dish. Fresh, well-seasoned, slightly sweet, and perfectly cooked. * Chocolate Cake: simple and not overly sweet. Prices are on the higher side, but this is fine dining in West Midtown, so it's expected. This is not your typical Buford Highway Chinese restaurant, completely different atmosphere and dining style, so don't compare the two. My family enjoyed both the food and the service. A 20% service fee is automatically added, but they still print suggested tip amounts at the bottom, so double-check your bill to avoid accidentally double tipping. Birthday dinner for 4 We approached the restaurant and I decided to park in the Interlock parking lot. It was a Friday evening and the lot was pretty full. We had to go up about 3 - 4 levels before we found an available spot. It was the usual ParkMobile scan and pay setup. Reasonable parking prices for a few hours. A better option than the $20 restaurant valet I read about before we arrived. Definitely take a picture of where you are parked. It was confusing to find the actual restaurant. I asked a couple people around the Interlock and they had no clue where the restaurant was. We made it down to Beeline Blvd and could see Lo Kee and took the short walk over to 2 Interlock Ave. We entered the restaurant and were surprisingly welcomed with a low energy greeting. I advised I had a 6:30 reservation for four, celebrating my daughter's birthday. The host asked if we wanted to sit inside or outside on the patio and you know we had to head out to the patio. I immediately noticed the elegant design and layout of the interior dining room, as we were led through. The patio was also designed nicely with plenty of seating. We were seated and quickly provided menus. We reviewed our drink options and the 1st thing I noticed was the very limited beer selection, with only 3 options. Our server came by quickly and we were ready with our drink order. Wifey and I ordered the TsingTao Chinese lager. My youngest daughter ordered a Lychee Martini and my oldest kept it simple with a sweet tea. We also added the Crab croquette appetizer to the order. The drinks and appetizer came out quickly. We all shared the crab croquettes, they were very crunchy with real lump crab meat. The sauce that came with it tasted like hasabi or horseradish. It was a nice companion to the crab. When it was time for our entree orders, I ordered the Nine Seasons Jumbo Shrimp and Wifey ordered the Grand Marnier Jumbo Shrimp. My oldest ordered the Yuzo Miso Glazed Salmon. The server let her know that the salmon is prepared closer to well done and wanted to make sure she was good with that. That was good to know ahead of time and my daughter stuck with her choice. My youngest daughter, the birthday girl, ordered the Short Ribs. Our server also informed us the entrees came family style without their own side, so I added an order of Vegetable Fried Rice for the table. The food came out quickly and we all started digging in. While staying at Bellyard, took a short walk over to Lo Kee for dinner. It's Asian fusion and has a very sexy ambiance. Definitely a date night, girls or boys night out. There were some small groups too of after-work types. Our server, Andrew G. was very pleasant, helpful and attentive. He provided great recommendations, answered our questions (no hot sake) and checked in regularly. There's a team of help that serves food, bussed the table and supported Andrew. Probably the best service I've had in a while - personality and a sense of humor to create a wonderful experience. The food - overall it was tasty. The price point to the flavor and portion size left me wanting more. We started with the crab croquettes and oxtail spring rolls, then for dinner the chicken lo-mein (added shrimp), and Beijing chicken. The oxtail spring rolls were definitely the star of the show! A great cut of meat, flaky roll paper and served hot. The noodles were pretty basic and the chicken was a bit dry & tough. The steamed white rice was yummy though. The spicy kung pao chicken was very good quality with crunch and spice delivering well. The lo mein was a bit sweet but good and the bok choy side was delicious. It was very garlicky and crisp. Our family of four celebrated our daughter's 21st birthday at the new Lo Kee in Atl. The restaurant is pretty inside and our waiter, Carlton, was amazing but I took away 1 star because I feel it was over priced for certain items. Carlton recommended the salt and pepper pork dumplings and they were AMAZING! 100% recommend! We also had the steamed chicken dumplings which were good but only 4 in an order for $16 and the three adults had drinks (Carlton recommended a delicious one for our daughter) and our son had a fountain Coke which was $7 and they charged for a refill. that is the most absurd price for a fountain drink and I've never heard of a fountain drink having a cost for refills, even at the nicest of restaurants. The Filet and broccoli was some of the best we have ever had and worth the $38 price tag even though the portion was pretty small but the kung pao chicken, lo mein and fried rice were just good, nothing exceptional. The total bill, before the tip, was over $300 for our family of four who shared two entrees, fried rice, lo mein and had two appetizers and 1 round of drinks. So, while the service was great and the food was very good, we probably won't be back when we can get very similar quality food for 1/2 the price elsewhere, For reference, our bill at a very popular, similar, restaurant in NYC was $150 for more food, drinks and dessert. read more

They all work together to make sure the customers are always taken care of, so we had a few people checking on us to make sure we were good. The short rib was decent , the bao bun itself was very soft and fluffy but for whatever reason they added an obnoxious amount of sauce and apple slices to the bun. 5/10 -The chicken lo mein was good, but for $20 I expected something exceptional. I've had "hood" lo mein for $8 that was equally as good. 5/10 -Similarly, the sweet and sour chicken wasn't bad but it was very similar to food court mall food. For $29, it was EXTREMELY underwhelming. 5/10 -The Salt & Pepper Prawns....Probably the most disappointing item of the evening. I expected large grilled or blackened prawns maybe with the heads on, but received small fried shrimp . The flavor was pretty good . But for $35 I felt robbed. 2/10 The drinks were very good at the bar and the service was really good. But the food for the price point left ALOT to be desired. Judging by the food alone, Lo Kee is a 5-star exceptional experience. But some unfortunate non-culinary issues force me to drop their rating to 4-stars. The Food: We ordered five dishes, and four of them were delightful. The Yellowtail Sashimi was incredible, and the Salt & Pepper Pork Dumpling was top-notch. In terms of the entrées, the Chilean Sea Bass was also a homerun, but our absolute favorite was the Short Rib. So amazingly tender and flavorful! The only unimpressive and pedestrian dish was the Beef Lo Mein. So hats off to their culinary staff! Amazing food! One Major Qualm: We sat right in front of the kitchen, and their kitchen door as always ajar. So their beautiful ambiance was marred by the unobstructed view of the kitchen and their staff. It was extremely distracting. The sounds emanating from the kitchen enveloped us and both my wife and I felt like we were sitting inside the actual kitchen. Not acceptable! Three Minor Qualms: 1) The restaurant opens at 5pm and we arrived at 5:10pm. They were open, but not ready to receive the public. They were still mopping floors, the hostess was harried, and our server wasn't available. It took them approximately 10 mins to get their act together. You must be ready for the public when you open your doors! 2) A high-end Asian fusion restaurant should never give you disposable chopsticks. You are NOT the Panda Express. Give us real chopsticks! 3) Their bussing service needs revamping. When topping off our sparking waters, the bussers would bang the bottles on our glasses. Or at the very least lean the bottles on our glasses while refilling them. Let me also mention that our server, Ashara, was very attentive and courteous. With great food, Lo Kee will succeed if they address these aforementioned issues. We spent $213 for a 2-person meal, including a 20% tip (no alcohol, no dessert, 2 appetizers, 2 entrées, 1 side, and sparkling water). read more

Recommended by one of my hair dresser, Leigh, my girlfriend and I took a chance to have a girls' night out here. It did not disappoint. We made a reservation for 7:00, but when we arrived it wasn't too full (on a Thursday) so I don't think a reservation for small parties is 100% necessary. We met our friend at the bar and the bartender was so sweet! She let us try a few drinks before deciding :) They did have us cash out before heading to our table. Once we were seated at our table and ordered the food came quickly and it was delicious. My favorite was the spicy tuna crispy rice. Once we received our food the server popped by a few times but wasn't hovering or rushing us out which was nice. Not pictured is the Thai tea crème brûlée which is a MUST. Without drinks our total was 171 (including gratuity) for six small shareable dishes which I think was on the higher end but reasonable for the quality. I would return! read more

Love the location. I'd take advantage of the $20 valet and walk around the area after dinner, lots nearby. Manager and server were great! Interior was gorgeous, def a vibe - great for date or girls night! Cocktails were delicious we had a lychee martini and cucumber gin cocktail. Things to order, white tail sashimi and spicy tuna crispy rice, soooo good. Things to skip, salt and pepper pork dumplings and rock Shrimp tempora... not bad but not great. The ambiance and food were spectacular! I had the with Chilean Sea Bass with the Bok Choi and the Lobster spring rolls. The fish just melted in your mouth and the lobster was as soooo juicy. I'll definitely be going back. Andre was a great server as well. Very knowledgeable. read more

Such a nice addition to Atlanta: upscale Chinese food. Everything was a 10/10. Servers were very attentive. Security was super respectful. Food was delicious. Ambiance is beautiful. Music was great. They played 90's R&B. Love that they open later than most restaurants as well. read more

Lo Kee has such a nice vibe. Kind of intimate and cozy with a really cool playlist. I think this place is great for some cocktails and appetizers! Drinks were good. We loved loved loved the lobster spoons. Definitely our favorite dish of the night. Secondly, the egg rolls were a hit. The short rib in the bao buns was delicious but a little less tortilla chips would be nice (just my preference). As for our main entrees, we weren't too crazy about them. We think that we would've enjoyed trying more of their smaller plates because those were absolutely delicious. For dessert, we tried the frozen hot chocolate and it was not only stunning but sooo good! I cannot stop thinking about it!
