The first time I went here, we ordered apps and a crab fried rice along with champagne - there was a special for 50% off moet, so it was a very good time. We enjoyed the food ! Second time around, I came with a bigger group, and we had fun but the food was off. Nice place but the prices are a bit high. The food was meh. I was not impressed with how the food was not really seasoned but drenched in their Thai sauce ( it was really sweet). It was poured over the none seasoned calamari and poured over the fried Snapper dish that the hubby had. The lemon pepper wings had zero lemon pepper flavor and were over cooked. I will say that my Chilean Sea Bass, albeit very small, was perfectly cooked but not worth the $56.00 price. Pappadeaux's version is much better plus their version has crabmeat atop with a delicious sauce and bigger portions with a $45.00 price. Anyway, I would not revisit but try it for yourself. This is a legit 4.5 experience. We decided to dine out this Christmas, a cousins first. Super great idea to try Snap Thai. I read about them in the comments of a "best of Atl" spots that should've placed... Upon our arrival, they were abt 20 mins behind with reservations. They don't offer you a beverage or anything. But you can go to the outside bar if home dressed for the weather. Upon bringing each course of the meal, we exchanged our reviews, chatted with neighboring tables. It's good we sat across from the kitchen. My cousin and everyone on the outer edge is being bumped all evening by bypassing customers, busboys and servers (-.5 in my 4.5 review ). Came for a cute little solo date at snap Thai! Came during their happy hour so I tried their $9 half dozen raw oysters. The oysters were fresh and I enjoyed them. Kaylee (I believe was her name) was my bartender/waitress and she suggested the ruby rose which I'm so glad she did because I loved it! I think it paired really well with the oysters honestly. The calamari was also super good. I find sometimes calamari can be a little salty but that wasn't the case here and the sweet and spicy sauce was a great touch. The star of the show was the takoyaki. This place 10/10. I have not been here in so long and it's still as delicious and fantastic as I remember. Definitely on my list to take visitors for lunch or dinner. The service was top tier. The decor and ambiance A+. Drinks were strong, and the food! This is one of those places where anything you order will be delicious. So, so good. Just know, me and my friend spent $150 each. We visited to celebrate a birthday dinner with a large group of 12. Despite the appealing setting, the experience was disappointing, especially concerning the service and food. Service was lacking, which was surprising since the restaurant had only three other occupied tables. Our meal took longer than expected, and critically, the food was not served simultaneously. As a result, members of our party had to wait an extra 10-15 minutes after others received their entrees. Ultimately, the food was underwhelming, particularly given the high price point. Everyone in our group felt honestly disappointed with their meal. On a positive note, the drinks were quite good. We especially enjoyed the lychee martini, Painkiller, and Yuzual. I went for the lunch happy hour which they had a variety of selection but very limited on the menu. I wanted to get the dumplings but they couldn't be steamed only fried. I did enjoy the variety of cocktails for happy hour at $10. I had the Just Peachy and Henny-Rita which were both tasty, I enjoyed the oysters which was a special for the happy hour with a minimum of 8 to purchase. My entree was the Pad See Ew Shrimp which was good but lots of noodles clumped together with even added sauce had no flavor and nice, big, juicy shrimp that needed more for the price of the meal. I went to Snap Thai Fish House yesterday for my girlfriend's birthday, and WOW... this place did everything right. And as someone who works in restaurant management, that says a lot. I notice the little things--and they nailed every single one. From the moment we walked through the door, the host greeted us with a warm "Happy Birthday!" (she even knew who I was ), which instantly set the tone. The vibe was perfect, the Christmas décor was festive and cute, and the service? Chef's kiss. Our server was great, and the manager even stopped by our table to check in. You can tell this place runs like a well-oiled machine. Now the food... listen. I had the salmon with the three-flavor sauce--sweet Thai chili heaven--with grilled veggies. Absolutely delicious. I also ordered the calamari and it was tender, crispy, and seasoned perfectly. My girlfriend got the shrimp pad thai (which she devoured) plus potstickers that were spot on. Even though we're not big drinkers, we couldn't resist trying the dragon fruit martini because it just sounded good... and it was even better than expected. And the sweetest touch--they surprised my girlfriend with a complimentary glass of champagne for her birthday. Classy move. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. Oh my God, I don't know where to start with this place but when I tell you, it was wonderful if I can give it 10 stars I would. We went for a Galentine's and the atmosphere was so beautiful. It was cozy and upscale nice live music. Everyone looked presentable and well put together and thought out. It was overall a great experience with the service. The waiter came out. She explained everything I love an establishment where it's all hands on deck so even though they do have waitresses, they also had the management the bartender they had everyone just checking on you to make sure you're OK and I love an establishment like That and last, but not least the food. I am the picky person to where I don't want certain things in my food but I decided to give it a shot and try whatever came with the specialty that they had that day and I did not disappoint. We went here with drinks for dinner. They have a parking deck and validate parking for 2 hours. However the process could be simplified, so have to pay the parking fee ($4/hr) and then you claim it. The wings were quite good - other than when I asked for flats they couldn't accommodate that and it was only 5 pieces. Never stepped foot into the restaurant but loved this activation to get patrons engaged, trying lots of menu items, popular drinks, games and some Thai culture. The Jordan dinner event was time to sit in the dining room & have a different experience. I arrived first at 6 PM and my boyfriend arrived about 13 min after I was seated. I think the confusion started here - they didn't put a 2nd place setting down and brought me the first course. I clearly reserved and prepaid for 2. The server came by and asked if I was waiting for someone, I replied YES - he just parked and is coming in. That was the first and last time she came by. In short, the Manager ended up being our server. We had to flag down the hostess to fix this since we waited about 18 min watching everyone get service. The presentation, the flavors, the quality of food was amazing. My sweetie didn't care for the lobster bisque but the clam chowder was great. The surprise and delight was the dessert! A poached pear in Jordan Cabernet - truly amazing. We felt like guinea pigs for this 4- course event. It seemed like they were unprepared for handling a full house while not having assigned tables. It was a lot going on - other patrons, walk-in bar guests, a large private party, music, etc. Servers can't afford to avoid eye contact and need to check in on all guests. Other tables had to flag down help which clearly means they needed to do a dry run. Train servers on wine, holding the glass, picking up or putting out glasses, etc. We will be back but likely at the bar for cocktails & small plates. read more

I had the snapper special which was great except the rice was explained as a garlic butter but was more just a white rice. Someone else at the table had the lobster fried rice it was excellent and well seasoned. I also had the chargrilled oysters which were very tasteful. It was my birthday so the table also received a round of Tequilla lemon drops hands down best ever and much appreciated. They already had it decorated for Christmas which made it great for pictures and they have an indoor and outdoor bar area. They had another patron who sent over dessert and bottles of wine that made the evening until one us was charged for the dessert and then advised by the manager to just be appreciative as if we had asked for it or better yet couldn't afford it so that left a sour taste but all in all would like to return when it's warm. read more

In between 2 and 3 stars. All staff were very polite, but lacking in true service mainly due to a 15 minute staff meeting while we were there, during which ALL staff was unavailable throughout the restaurant. Our bartender (we dined at the bar) let us know she was stepping away for a couple of minutes which was great to get a heads up, but then diners were on their own in the restaurant for about 15 minutes. The only exception during the staff meeting, was a different waitress came out briefly to check on another diner at the bar. She walked right past us but didn't ask if we needed anything. I had to get her attention before she went back in the meeting. It was all very strange. The food quality and flavor was in between okay and good, but for the price it was severely lacking. The price does not at all reflect the quality of the food. The vegan pad Thai was good. Just not worth the price. My gf said the lobster rolls were severely lacking in flavor, and the lobster was a little overcooked as well. That dish is $50+ so it should be on point every time. I asked a waitress for hot sauce or chili sauce and she first offered Tabasco... -_- who goes to an "authentic" Thai restaurant for Tabasco sauce?!?!?! When I asked if they had other options she seemed confused and then brought dried chili flakes... at any Thai restaurant I expect some kind of Thai chili sauce or or at minimum Thai chili peppers. This was disappointing. The dragonfruit margarita (no alcohol) was very delicious! I enjoyed it a lot. The turn off was the bartender said the dragonfruit syrup was made in house so I loved that at first. Later we noticed behind the bar store-bought containers of different fruit concentrates, including dragonfruit. So while it may have been made in house it was not from fresh dragonfruit.. so a bit misleading. The space is beautiful. Well put together. Very upscale. The aesthetics and food presentation are why I'm assuming they get away with the prices. It was pretty empty while we were there. It could have been an off night (altho it was Friday) but I'm not sure how they're staying open if that's the norm. We ordered pot stickers which were decent, lobster bisque (nice and flavorful), the lunch portion lobster roll was accompanied by fries and Thai chowder - I wasn't a fan of the lobster roll as there was just too much going on for my liking. Stopped in for a double date and was largely so impressed. I had the Lychee Cocktail-delish pie if you like sweet. If not, definitely skip. I also had a combination of lobster bisque and sushi. The presentation was gorgeous. Every item that was ordered has beautifully plated. Would make a great date spot if you want to impress your company. My husband ordered the special of the night and it looked huge by the presentation, and he said it was very good but he did leave the evening still hungry. We got the coconut ice cream for dessert and it was very good but very small. Too small for the price tag. Everyone loved their food, or all tasted very good-no complaints there but the proportions were off. Dishes looked either huge or tiny and we all were just a little hungry on the way out. I would definitely go back to try other items for sure but with the knowledge that I'll be spending a lot for a pretty plate-not a big plate. (And in the case of some of the items on the menu this could be really frustrating) There is a $3 automated valet or 3 hr validation for the garage which is a pro for me. The big con: I want to point out they participate in the "automatic gratuity added" trend that is making itself more and more normalized. It's an automatic 20% tip. This really bothers me. Then on top of that, they give you the option to add an additional 30% or more + a buy your server a drink option ($15) . Meaning if you aren't paying attention you may end up leaving a 20% + tip (one might very easily leave a 40% tip without realizing it which feels very predatory) Our server couldn't have been nicer but 20% is typically what I (and a lot of adults) reserve for exceptional service. While he was very very nice and made recommendations, it was not exceptional. We would have left 18% had we had a choice. So the push to add more even left all 4 of us with a sour taste in our mouth at the end of an otherwise very night. Just pay your staff a livable wage! read more

Attended a girls night out total 2 people. The restaurant is embedded within an upscale apartment complex and retail shopping area. The restaurant itself is difficult to find while driving within the complex. You can only find it once you're walking within it. So identifying where to park was very confusing. This is the only reason why I'm taking off a star. The hostess and waitress were both very kind and provided great recommendations. I had the appetizer of calamari which was great And the lobster roll with Wedges was also good. Great for a date night more so but my friend and I had a nice time. Mocktail was very good also. I would suggest against brining anyone at all with a lot of dietary restrictions, but I will not that they are very accommodating and ask about allergies during their welcome. The waiter we had was so sweet and loved sharing his recommendations on dishes. We did try a few things, from the chicken satay appetizer to main courses and then crème brûlée and tiramisu for dessert. The waiter mentioned the tiramisu wasn't his favorite, and I'd have to agree that this isn't the best tiramisu, it was very pretty and had good texture but there was something lacking in the flavor that I couldn't quite pin point. My boyfriend did mention that he thought there crème brûlée was the best he thinks he has ever had. Presentation of the dishes is absolutely beautiful on all the dishes we got, and the ones at the nearby tables. It makes me want to go back to try more of those stunning plates. I did a staycation and decide to drop in at Snap Thai for dinner that night. I made a reservation and was sat immediately. The tables are kind of community style so I was sat closely to two other parties, which I didn't mind at all. Service - great experience. My waiter saw I was by myself and was able to give me time to eat my food without hovering too much. Was never hard to find if I needed something either. The kitchen was extremely fast for a Saturday evening, in fact I had multiple dishes at once because it came faster than I was able to finish one. Food - can't remember what drink I had, but it was tasty. I really enjoyed the complimentary chips, they reminded me of shrimp chips from the Asian supermarket that kind of melt in your mouth. The mango salsa was delicious also! I'd buy that in a jar. The oysters were delicious!! I enjoyed the east coast oysters the most (I think) because they had more flavor - I'll definitely be back for their $1.50 oyster happy hour one day! And for the main course, it was good but nothing super impressive. I got the fried rice and subbed the lobster for shrimp. The flavors were good, but it was overpriced for the portion in my opinion.
