Seafood Pad kee mao - that day's special

If you want true fine dining experience that also serves 10/10 food. This is the spot for you. Came here few times for business meetings and one for an anniversary dinner. First, there is plenty of parking! You can choose to do Valet or self park $7 Make sure you make a reservation because it does get packed. If you are celebrating a special occasion, the hostess and staff make sure they recognize it! ex: for our anniversary dindin, they had a little card on our table to show it was what we were celebrating so the servers and staff could congratulate us. When you stand up to use the restroom, the come around folding your napkin and they even make sure to ask if you want a white or black napkin in case you're wearing darker/lighter clothes. Food is always 10/10 and portions are plenty! One thing I will say, the specials are always a hit! So make sure you ask for their daily special. If you don't want to spend too much on the food, make sure you ask how much the special is because... we did not ask..and one of the specials we got was ~$98.....so... heads up!!! overall, please come if you want super delicious thai food with excellent service. p.s. : get the thai tea for dessert. One of the best thai teas i've had.

Nan Thai Fine Dining was an excellent experience. The food was beautifully prepared and full of authentic flavor. The ambiance was elegant and relaxing, perfect for a fine dining experience, and the service was attentive and professional. A great choice for a special night out.

One of the best Thai meals I've had, second only to a Thai Michelin Star restaurant in Copenhagen. Service was very good, and the food was excellent, and didn't take too long. Had the Chilean Sea bass entree and it was outstanding. Lovely setting. Next time I'm in Atlanta, I'll be back!

Valentines evening: I placed a dinner reservation for 2 about a week in advance for Valentine's night. I was given the option of prix fixe or full menu, because I'd never dined here before and absolutely LOVE Thai food, I chose the full menu option. I set the reservation for 5:45pm but arrived about 30 mins late because of horrendous traffic. Valet is available as well as self parking. $25 for premium valet. Upon arrival we were placed on the wait-list and escorted to the lounge to comfortably wait for our table. There's a full bar and plenty of seating in the lounge. After about a 20 min wait our table was available. The restaurant was nicely decorated for the holiday with soft dim lighting, beautiful festive flowers, candles, balloons, and an overall romantic vibe that was perfect for a date night. Our waiter arrived shortly after with our menus but we were slightly disappointed to find out that only the prix fixe menu was available. The waiter explained that they'd made the mistake of offering the whole menu on another recent holiday and the kitchen was overwhelmed so they decided to scale back for Valentine's...understandable. The menu consisted of quite a few starters, soups, salads, 6 main dishes, and 2 desserts ($125/pp minimum, automatic gratuity added). We decided upon 2 orders of the Poh Pia Thod (vegetable spring rolls $14) as our starter, the Thai chili Sea bass special ($70) and the lobster fried rice ($63) as our mains, as well as the Bangkok rose and Grey lady $18/each for cocktails. Everything was absolutely delicious! Unfortunately the portion size of everything, from the apps to the entrees, were on the small side and my husband's lobster fried rice hardly contained any lobster meat, it was mostly just empty shell. Our bellies were definitely left wanting more. We seriously discussed getting pizza on the way home. I'd make a return visit on a regular night, just to try the rest of the menu, other than that I'd reserve Nan Thai for special occasions only.

I will keep this real simple. First, expect smoke coming off your credit card. Second, you don't need a tie, but I felt like a Schlub in my t-shirt and cargo pants. Everyone looked beautifully well dressed. The service was over the top amazing. When I espoused on how magnificent my martini had been made, a minute later the server brought the bartender to our table. He explained his thoughts on martinis and we had a wonderful discussion. Also, the lychee martini is sublime. Lastly, I will not describe any of the food. Why? Because it was all heavenly. It is not the Thai food you might think of....it's the Thai food of imagination. Every dish crafted with finesse and adventure. Just think unusual, like Thai lamb shank.....a true culinary adventure!

What a lovely restaurant! Our team met here for a much needed respite from a long week of work and the atmosphere, service, and cuisine was balanced and flavorful. The appetizers were beautifully displayed and delicious. The variety satisfied the vegetarian and carnivores at the table, but hands down the soup was the most surprising delight of the night. The entrees were delicious and the chocolate cake divine, however the tea brûlée was not what we expected, not bad, just not the sweet creamy flavor you expect from a brûlée. However as dining experiences go, this was a 5 and worth a repeat on my next visit to ATL.

I can't believe we are just discovering this place! We were looking for a quick lunch and found this through Yelp -- and I'm so glad we did. The ambience truly transports you straight to Thailand. It feels elevated, almost like a modern Bangkok dining room. Their sign at the entrance notes business casual attire. Parking is valet only for $5 or self-park for $7 (they do accept card). Our server was very respectful, attentive, and helped guide us so we could choose exactly what we wanted. Definitely do the Nan Tasting for the appetizer -- the presentation was beautiful and the flavors were even better. For mains, we had the Tiger Prawn Pad Thai and the special of the day -- a seafood stew with prawn, lobster, and scallops served in a pineapple. Super delicious!! We will definitely be coming back. This is officially added to our "must visit" list every time we're in Atlanta!

Lives up to my previous review. Truly the most beautiful Thai restaurant anywhere. The food and service are extraordinary. Had the Tom Kai soup which was amazing and the seafood panang which was also wonderful. The service always perfection.

Came for lunch alone because I now live next door. I got the minced chicken basil fried rice ($12) was so trash, it tasted old and like throw up. Also such small portion Green curry w chicken thigh was ok but the curry sauce was so little. So I returned the fried rice and had 3 lychee martinis. My total was $120???

Pad Thai, great sauce and delicious chicken.

The food and service are fantastic. Traditional Thai food is upgraded. The seabass is so delicate but packed with flavor. The pad Thai is traditional but very bright. Appetizers are all great too. It is such a beautiful place and so different.

Food was good but the Valentine's Day meal was a scam. $63 for a fried lobster tail and a small cup of fried rice is crazy... let's be real

Checked out Nan Thai on a business trip with co-workers and overall had a great experience! The lycheetini was really good and they seemed to have some really interesting other cocktail options. I ordered my own spring rolls which I think were the only vegetarian app option with the dipping sauce. They had some vegetarian entrée options that were not listed on the menu. I ended up ordering the basil fried rice with tofu off menu which was not very basil forward and honestly, it wasn't great. I think it would be nice if they could actually list all of these options on the menus to be a bit more inclusive to people with more dietary restrictions. Finally, the chocolate cake is what would probably have me coming back. It was so delicious but the thing that put it over the top was the thai tea ice cream. I would definitely recommend for a special occasion or a work dinner!

Is this by chance an organic restaurant?

Hello. I can tell you there is nothing on the menu that states its organic. I would suggest calling the restaurant.

    Is there a dress code?

I do not. But there were people in business clothes and business casual clothes when I ate there. I wouldn't wear a pair of shorts and sneakers there.

Is this business open Christmas day?

Lovely wine bar in the heart of Midtown :)…read more I've passed El Viñedo several times, as it's right next to the parking entrance for the Fox Theater. I was eating Dinner with a friend at Cypress Street Pint and Plate and we decided that we wanted to hangout a little bit longer, so my friend led me here. The same Fox parking lot has tons of parking available with regular street parking rates that won't break the bank (as long as there's no show that night!). The entry is gorgeous, and is a delightful taste of what is to meet your senses what you step inside. Featuring modern steps and beautiful hanging chairs that line the front windows, it's truly a first impression. The staff are friendly and happy to answer any questions (I had several so I thank them for their patience!) The interior is just as beautiful as the patio, and has plenty of outlets available for working or charging your phone. The cocktails and wine list are to die for, as is the guava pastry. I'll be back!

I work in the area, so I call in my order and its usually ready within 10 minutes. Typically picking up my food is a pleasant experience but today (12.4.25) was a little off. I ordered my food at 1:56pm and then got a phone call at work that lasted approx. 15 minutes. At 2:11pm I head over to the restaurant. When I got to the restaurant my food was not ready even though it had been about 20 minutes since I placed my order. No big deal, I sit at the bar and wait for my food. After about 8 minutes or so I look up from my phone and there are 2 employees, and someone dressed in street clothes having a conversation and see a food container sitting on the counter that was not there before. I waited for a break in the convo (no more than 30 seconds) and ask if that's my food on my counter. The employee looks up from his phone and says, "yeah it just came out". I respond, "no it did not because I have been looking at it since y'all were here laughing". He doubles down and says he just came from the back with it and now his tone has changed as he is processing the transaction. I don't believe I was being rude I just wanted my food. I have now eaten my food and am still thinking about this interaction. Why would he put my food down on the counter if he sees me there waiting?! I will be back because as previously mentioned, I love their chicken sandwich, and the lattes are pretty good as well. My receipt says my server was Jaden B. I am not sure if that is the young lady or young man working at the front, but this interaction was with a young man that may be a relatively new employee with a short afro.

We sat down and were provided water and I asked for a purse holder and the waitress was able to locate one for me. We received our menus and if you're in to a French style menu, this is the place for you. I had the avocado tartine (toast), and others in my party had the eggs Benedict, the crepe; and pancakes. Two of us also ordered a mimosa. Because it was my aunts birthdays, they were given a small treat. It's quiet and very cute ambiance and lighting. They have tea time from 1-4pm which I will definitely be back for. ***I gave this place a 4 only because the menu was sort of limited from what I had known to be a buffet style brunch and I think, to me, I needed a little more seasoning.***

As you'd expect at the Four Seasons it's a very upscale ambiance and the staff is always very welcoming. The bar itself is large enough to hold a dozen or so seats and there is extensive table and banquette seating in the floor area. They have a selection of house cocktails and I've been happy with each one I've tried (my eye always moves to the bourbon/whiskey options on the menu). There is a limited food menu that is definitely way better than standard "bar food" though neither is it fine dining; it's perfect for a light meal. They do have music certain evenings so it can get quite busy then or on weekend nights. Prices are a little above what you can find nearby in Midtown but again this is a five star hotel; I think it's worthwhile for the occasional visit.
