Absolutely cute little place, very relaxing vibe. No place to site inside, but perfect for a beautiful day outdoors on the patio. Right near Piedmont park. . The service and drinks were well crafted but heads up THEY DO NOT DO SYRUPS. Even though I'm a vanilla latte girl, I won't dock marks cause of it. They did sweeten with agave which I'm great with. The matcha was unsweetened but you could tell it was the good stuff.

Nice quiche, breakfast sammy, smoked trout from Denmark - tasty

Unique atmosphere and seafood in tins - self bus tables and seating Worth checking out if on the area

Quaint little coffee shop in the heart of midtown! Lovely patio to sit out and enjoy the weather. I got an iced latte and their breakfast sandwich, which was unique but good! Definitely want to come back in the evening to try their drinks and snacks. Oh and the staff was SOO friendly

Great outdoor spot . Limited breakfast menu . But the sandwiches are great and my latte was really good and served fast and hot . Something I ve never seen at big chains like Starbucks ! Support local ! This is the place to hang out . Oh and your dog is allowed on the patio !!

This cute walk-up patio bar exudes a lazy summertime coolness, serving espresso beverages and baked goods in the morning and later in the day broadening its offerings to include curated wines and fancy tinned seafood (!). Indeed, in just one weekend getaway to Atlanta I'd find myself here twice - perhaps out of convenience from my friend's apartment around the corner, but also because the combination of foodstuffs is so intriguing that it'd be a shame to miss any part of it. Yes, the prices reflect the well-to-do neighborhood bordering Piedmont Park, and would it be cheaper to eat canned sardines at home? Sure! But coming here is about reframing the oddly familiar - and almost mundane - into something innovative and satisfying. The coffee is delicious, the bakery items do the trick, and the preserved kippers are anything but ordinary (do spring extra for the crusty baguette, salty butter, and tangy pickles, it's worth it!) The affable folks behind the counter are generous in their service and spirit, and are eager to share their recommendations on wines and fish - don't forget to help them out and bus your table when you're done. Otherwise, how will you look them in the eye the next time you come around?

I've been coming here for a while now with my partner on our lunch break for cappuccinos and tinned fish. Recently we came for their wednesday wine night. The wine was delish. The service is always great and consistent and the ambiance was very lively, especially at night.

As a Midtown resident, I've walked past Larakin so many times. Mostly on the way to or back from Piedmont Park. I don't know why it took me this long to actually walk in. It's possible I read somewhere that they served seafood/fish and wine and I'm not big on raw seafood like that. I first came in on the evening of January 25 where I met up with 2 of my friends. They partook in the $25 wine tasting (wow - what a deal), and I decided to try a glass of one of the participating wines. It was great. I'm big on coffee so I eventually returned on the morning of January 30, the following Tuesday for a quick breakfast before work. I got the chai latte and a breakfast sandwich. The chai latte was amazing. The sandwich wasn't extraordinary but wasn't bad. Both times I chatted with the people who work there who seemed friendly and fun. All in all, love the vibes. I'll probably be back another time to try their dinner experiences.

The cutest neighborhood wine bar and an amazing patio when there is good weather. The ambiance was perfect. Service is a counter order but they were very helpful with suggestions. Food and wine were great but a little pricy. I love the sides they provide with the tinned fish.

This place exceeded my expectations - I absolutely loved it. Such a cute place to catch up with friends over wine. The patio is wonderful. Loved all the food we had and the wine was fantastic. They also don't accept tips here which is a plus. Would love to come back to try their coffee.

Lovely afternoon stop after visiting the botanical gardens. A friend and I ordered a double bread and pickle plate along with 3 fish tins. Everything was lovely, the staff is friendly and the space is comfortable. This menu is especially great for anyone with gluten or dairy allergies.

Ever since they introduced me to tinned fish I am hooked! Also I am obsessed with their terrazzo-esque bar top

Larakin is excellent, they do everything right. Delicious coffees, sandwiches, snacks and wine. I am never disappointed here. They are making wine culture cool instead of pretentious. Space in the interior is very limited, so expect to sit outside on the patio.

    Wine AND coffee. Winning.

They have a wide variety from whites to rose to red to sweet wines. All the ones we tried were good. The prices are a bit high - about $4-5 for a small pour (my guess for red is about 2 oz), ~$9 for a medium pour, and ~$18 for a glass. It's a great concept though where you can try what you want but it can get pricey quick. They have different food options as well, including salads, sandwiches, and charcuterie boards. We went on a Friday and they had live jazz outside which was great to listen to. It's a great spot for a date night or for a small group of friends. It can get crowded so it might not be as good for larger groups.
