Quaint little coffee shop in the heart of midtown! Lovely patio to sit out and enjoy the weather. I got an iced latte and their breakfast sandwich, which was unique but good! Definitely want to come back in the evening to try their drinks and snacks. Oh and the staff was SOO friendly

Great outdoor spot . Limited breakfast menu . But the sandwiches are great and my latte was really good and served fast and hot . Something I ve never seen at big chains like Starbucks ! Support local ! This is the place to hang out . Oh and your dog is allowed on the patio !!

This cute walk-up patio bar exudes a lazy summertime coolness, serving espresso beverages and baked goods in the morning and later in the day broadening its offerings to include curated wines and fancy tinned seafood (!). Indeed, in just one weekend getaway to Atlanta I'd find myself here twice - perhaps out of convenience from my friend's apartment around the corner, but also because the combination of foodstuffs is so intriguing that it'd be a shame to miss any part of it. Yes, the prices reflect the well-to-do neighborhood bordering Piedmont Park, and would it be cheaper to eat canned sardines at home? Sure! But coming here is about reframing the oddly familiar - and almost mundane - into something innovative and satisfying. The coffee is delicious, the bakery items do the trick, and the preserved kippers are anything but ordinary (do spring extra for the crusty baguette, salty butter, and tangy pickles, it's worth it!) The affable folks behind the counter are generous in their service and spirit, and are eager to share their recommendations on wines and fish - don't forget to help them out and bus your table when you're done. Otherwise, how will you look them in the eye the next time you come around?

I've been coming here for a while now with my partner on our lunch break for cappuccinos and tinned fish. Recently we came for their wednesday wine night. The wine was delish. The service is always great and consistent and the ambiance was very lively, especially at night.

As a Midtown resident, I've walked past Larakin so many times. Mostly on the way to or back from Piedmont Park. I don't know why it took me this long to actually walk in. It's possible I read somewhere that they served seafood/fish and wine and I'm not big on raw seafood like that. I first came in on the evening of January 25 where I met up with 2 of my friends. They partook in the $25 wine tasting (wow - what a deal), and I decided to try a glass of one of the participating wines. It was great. I'm big on coffee so I eventually returned on the morning of January 30, the following Tuesday for a quick breakfast before work. I got the chai latte and a breakfast sandwich. The chai latte was amazing. The sandwich wasn't extraordinary but wasn't bad. Both times I chatted with the people who work there who seemed friendly and fun. All in all, love the vibes. I'll probably be back another time to try their dinner experiences.

The cutest neighborhood wine bar and an amazing patio when there is good weather. The ambiance was perfect. Service is a counter order but they were very helpful with suggestions. Food and wine were great but a little pricy. I love the sides they provide with the tinned fish.

This place exceeded my expectations - I absolutely loved it. Such a cute place to catch up with friends over wine. The patio is wonderful. Loved all the food we had and the wine was fantastic. They also don't accept tips here which is a plus. Would love to come back to try their coffee.

Lovely afternoon stop after visiting the botanical gardens. A friend and I ordered a double bread and pickle plate along with 3 fish tins. Everything was lovely, the staff is friendly and the space is comfortable. This menu is especially great for anyone with gluten or dairy allergies.

Ever since they introduced me to tinned fish I am hooked! Also I am obsessed with their terrazzo-esque bar top

Larakin is excellent, they do everything right. Delicious coffees, sandwiches, snacks and wine. I am never disappointed here. They are making wine culture cool instead of pretentious. Space in the interior is very limited, so expect to sit outside on the patio.

Super casual, outdoor coffee/wine cafe. I've been here twice now, once to get some work done in the morning and another to share a bottle of wine with some friends. Both experiences were lovely. Staff is light, but their service makes up for it! All orders are brought out right to you, and you're treated like long-time friend! I will definitely be back to try their "family style" fixed menu dinners.

Wine AND coffee. Winning.

We had been meaning to get to Larakin for months. The pseudo-fall weather finally encouraged us to make our way over and we were so glad we did. Arriving around 10:30 on a Saturday was perfect timing since we started with coffee and breakfast-y vibes, but stayed long enough to have wine and split a prosciutto sandwich and tinned fish. Everyone was super welcoming and they love to share their knowledge about wine and dipping your toe into the world of tinned fish. It's also a very pro-dog environment/open air and just a few steps from Piedmont Park--just lovely. We took our bikes but I can see parking being a challenge. But get over there now and pop open a tin of fish, you won't be sad about it!

Great for coffee and wine drinkers! Very friendly staff. If you manage to catch when they sometimes make lasagna you should 100% order it.

Midtown

Lovely wine bar in the heart of Midtown :)…read more I've passed El Viñedo several times, as it's right next to the parking entrance for the Fox Theater. I was eating Dinner with a friend at Cypress Street Pint and Plate and we decided that we wanted to hangout a little bit longer, so my friend led me here. The same Fox parking lot has tons of parking available with regular street parking rates that won't break the bank (as long as there's no show that night!). The entry is gorgeous, and is a delightful taste of what is to meet your senses what you step inside. Featuring modern steps and beautiful hanging chairs that line the front windows, it's truly a first impression. The staff are friendly and happy to answer any questions (I had several so I thank them for their patience!) The interior is just as beautiful as the patio, and has plenty of outlets available for working or charging your phone. The cocktails and wine list are to die for, as is the guava pastry. I'll be back!

I work in the area, so I call in my order and its usually ready within 10 minutes. Typically picking up my food is a pleasant experience but today (12.4.25) was a little off. I ordered my food at 1:56pm and then got a phone call at work that lasted approx. 15 minutes. At 2:11pm I head over to the restaurant. When I got to the restaurant my food was not ready even though it had been about 20 minutes since I placed my order. No big deal, I sit at the bar and wait for my food. After about 8 minutes or so I look up from my phone and there are 2 employees, and someone dressed in street clothes having a conversation and see a food container sitting on the counter that was not there before. I waited for a break in the convo (no more than 30 seconds) and ask if that's my food on my counter. The employee looks up from his phone and says, "yeah it just came out". I respond, "no it did not because I have been looking at it since y'all were here laughing". He doubles down and says he just came from the back with it and now his tone has changed as he is processing the transaction. I don't believe I was being rude I just wanted my food. I have now eaten my food and am still thinking about this interaction. Why would he put my food down on the counter if he sees me there waiting?! I will be back because as previously mentioned, I love their chicken sandwich, and the lattes are pretty good as well. My receipt says my server was Jaden B. I am not sure if that is the young lady or young man working at the front, but this interaction was with a young man that may be a relatively new employee with a short afro.

We sat down and were provided water and I asked for a purse holder and the waitress was able to locate one for me. We received our menus and if you're in to a French style menu, this is the place for you. I had the avocado tartine (toast), and others in my party had the eggs Benedict, the crepe; and pancakes. Two of us also ordered a mimosa. Because it was my aunts birthdays, they were given a small treat. It's quiet and very cute ambiance and lighting. They have tea time from 1-4pm which I will definitely be back for. ***I gave this place a 4 only because the menu was sort of limited from what I had known to be a buffet style brunch and I think, to me, I needed a little more seasoning.***

As you'd expect at the Four Seasons it's a very upscale ambiance and the staff is always very welcoming. The bar itself is large enough to hold a dozen or so seats and there is extensive table and banquette seating in the floor area. They have a selection of house cocktails and I've been happy with each one I've tried (my eye always moves to the bourbon/whiskey options on the menu). There is a limited food menu that is definitely way better than standard "bar food" though neither is it fine dining; it's perfect for a light meal. They do have music certain evenings so it can get quite busy then or on weekend nights. Prices are a little above what you can find nearby in Midtown but again this is a five star hotel; I think it's worthwhile for the occasional visit.
