A cute venue- a multi-sided bar, cozy dining room, and additional upstairs levels. It has a great patio where I sat (sort of isolated from street level, which is preferable in an urban setting). There's lunch specials and quite a decent bar menu. Standouts were the option for a half-paella of the day for lunch (batch-made obviously) and a sleeper dessert that was one of the best I've had (flan and ice cream), a mere $6 add-on to your lunch special. Incentive to indulge! Croquettas were less interesting and the paella isn't as intensely flavored as typical in Spain, but here in Atlanta entirely decent. This section of the city near the Federal Reserve has quite a few interesting dining options. I liked Bulla's open design. Lots of green space nearby and decent sidewalks for walking around after your meal.

My best friend and I were in town for a music festival and ended up at Bulla Gastrobar after our original brunch spot was too crowded. We sat at the bar and were taken care of by Charles, who was incredible. He knew the menu well, gave great recommendations, and made the experience easy and fun from start to finish. I ordered Montaditos de Salmon, Huevos Bravos, and the Torrija for dessert from Prix Fixe menu. Everything was beautifully presented and full of flavor! The bottomless mimosas and sangrias were a perfect touch. The passion fruit mimosa was great, but the beer sangria was shockingly good...and I'm not a beer drinker. Even with what looked like a busy bar and fewer hands than usual, Charles managed it all with ease and kept the vibe upbeat the whole time. The manager also came by to check in, which was a nice personal touch. All around, a 10/10 brunch! Great food, great drinks, and top-notch service.

HH till 6:30 Food options and yummy cocktails special for HH. We loved the steak on toasted bread with shishito peppers. The chicken skewer was juicy and tender, but was lowkey salty. The garlic shrimp was unbearably salty, we had to send it back.

Bulla Gastrobar sits on a lively street and definitely has the quality of food that makes it stand out. I came here for a bottomless brunch and although we arrived near the end of the allotted time, our waiter took great care of us and made sure we had several drinks. That type of service makes me want to come back. In additional to the service, the food here is awesome. I did a three course brunch which came with a pork hash, a flatbread, and dessert. The portions are decent and didn't have room to eat much more afterward. Can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu.

I have referred/ brought so many business lunches here! The salmon with the cream sauce is absolutely amazing and never dry. The tuna tartare is so fresh and cool which just hits the spot on a hot summer day. Their two for $15 tapas deal is great for sharing and allows you to sample a good portion of the menu. All the wine is stellar. Staff is usually pretty friendly and helpful but we did have a server once who was pretty rude. I let the manager know and they took over for the rest of the time we were there so it was pretty reactive. Love that! It saved what would have otherwise been a terrible time. I'll still recommend this spot for business lunches or nice chill spot before a show at the fox or something nearby

Very good tapas place in midtown Atlanta! I came here for lunch with a friend, and we both ordered the lunch specials menu. Service overall was a little slow. It is $17 for an appetizer and entree option, with additional costs for form upgraded entrees. I got the salmon carpaccio and chicken paella bowl (+$3). The salmon carpaccio was fresh, but a little too much dressing for me. The paella was really good, although a little salty. Overall, this was a great restaurant and I would love to come back and try some more tapas.

Super cute little tapas place! This was such a vibe for happy hour, they had several affordable food and drink specials. Their steak montaditos were probably my fave, along with their pintxo de pollo. You also can't go wrong with their patatas bravas. We sat at the bar and enjoyed some cosmos and our server was very attentive, food kept coming out fresh and perfectly portioned. Definitely come for happy hour! We probably had about 3-4 cocktails each and like 7 apps all for a bill.

Our server Milton was great! He was very attentive. The food was incredible with the paella being the highlight! The indoor bar was also a great vibe to grab a cocktail before gabbing seated. We came for a birthday and felt throughly celebrated!

Bulla Gastrobar was a great accidental find. After spending the day at Truist Park I wanted to find a tasty dinner. Bulla didn't disappoint. I sat at the bar and was well attended to by the staff, including a couple visits by the GM. I was lucky to arrive during happy hour and tried the sautéed garlic shrimp...wow! Super tasty! I also had the Manchego & Serrano plate and the Patatas Bravas. This potato dish was the star of the show. Unfortunately, they were out of beer, which forced me to try some cocktails. The French 75 was classic, refreshing and expertly crafted. As a gin lover, I decided to also try the Proper Gin & Tonic. Wow! A great combination of a floral gin with star anise and juniper berries. I wish I could have enjoyed more than one. My next visit to ATL will definitely include a stop at Bulla!

Recently went to the happy hour with some friends. There's a food and drink menu specifically for bar area. We tried the grilled chicken skewer, smoked salmon montaditos, steak montaditos, tuna tartare wonton crisps, truffle fries and ham croquettes (not pictured). Overall food was good, portions are small bites for happy hour. The bartender was helpful with the Hh menu. We tried the French 75 and lady killer cosmo. He was willing to help me make drinks skinny. We were there 3-4:45 on a Friday. It wasn't busy during that time. We found metered parking on the street but they will validate parking for you in the garage if there's parking available. Overall would return for a meetup with a friend for happy hour.

The Spanish restaurant that I go to most frequently in Atlanta. The restaurant offers lunch and dinners, with different menus. Have been there for quite a few times. The lunch was good and really worth the price. At $17 I get a big bowl of delicious butternut soup (seasonal dish) and a personal size paella. For dinner, I have tried quite a few dishes like the chicken paella, grilled shishito peppers, Pollo Al Chillindron (chicken stewed in red pepper sauce), Mallorcan style lamb, chicken fideua, etc. The shishito peppers dish is a must-order. The seasonal dish Mallorcan style lamb is also very creative and tasty. However, their paella could be less salty. Besides, service is just Okay. Sometimes it is too slow. The good thing is that you can scan a QR code to make the payment.

Manchego with toast, nuts and fig or guava jelly or paste. Lovely!

Not only was this one of the best tapas restaurants I've ever experienced, but our dinner at Bulla was one of the best meals I've ever had. Before I get to the food, MAJOR props to our wonderful server, Ilyeana, who had awesome recommendations and helped us make great choices -- and the perfect number so we still had room to share dessert. Thank you! Here are the dishes we had: 1. A lovely manchego, which came with small toasts, nuts and what I think was guava or fig paste. Whatever it was, it complimented the manchego perfectly! 2. Albondingas. Light, airy, but super flavorful meatballs in sauce. 3. Patatas bravas. You may be thinking, "I've had these before at other places." Well, you haven't had them HERE. Highly, highly recommend -- and the sauce has a nice kick to it. 4. Ham croquettes -- Again, LIGHT. I usually steer away from croquettes when I get tapas because they feel so heavy; these were delicious and again, light. 5. Chicken Fideua -- Oh my goodness, YUM. It's like Spanish pad thai, but totally different taste. Rice noodles with tender chicken, spices (flavorful, not hot), chickpeas and, well, unicorn dust, I think. SO GOOD. 6. SAVING THE BEST FOR LAST: Chorizo Stuffed Dates -- EHRMAGERD. They were roasted or seared or something magical -- one of the most delicious appetizers/small plates I've ever experienced! (By the way, we were three people in total, and this was perfect for us). As I mentioned, we had room for dessert -- so we shared a coconut flan and an oreo cheesecake. They were both good, but I LOVED the cheesecake. You know how cheesecake can be dense and heavy? Again -- the theme of this restaurant is LIGHT and FLAVORFUL. Once again -- the best Oreo cheesecake I've ever had. We were only in town for a few days and had hoped to return -- but we didn't get back this trip. But when I'm in Atlanta again, I definitely will make it back to Bulla -- and in the meantime, plan to review where the other locations are to see if I can make it to another location in the meantime!

Bulla Gastrobar in Midtown is a cozy spot with a modern American-Spanish twist. It's not a huge place, but I found parking easily on a Sunday evening--always a win in Atlanta. I met up with a friend visiting from out of town for dinner and drinks, and we were seated at one of the countertop tables near the entrance. The atmosphere was lively but not overwhelming. The lighting was a bit bright, and the music was low enough that we were probably louder than the speakers (classic New York and New Jersey energy!). The menu is tapas-style, perfect for sharing. While they do offer paella, I passed--being a regular visitor to Barcelona, I'm pretty skeptical of paella anywhere on this side of the Atlantic. That said, their tortilla was fantastic, and the garlic shrimp hit all the right notes--savory, buttery, and just garlicky enough. It's a solid choice for a casual meetup with great service and shareable plates. I'd definitely go back to try a few more dishes--and maybe brave the paella next time.

My friend's chicken was incredibly moist and flavorful, and my Branzino was pretty good. Our accompanying sides were the whipped potatoes, broccoli, and the patatas bravas. All the entertainment is right there in front of you. You're just steps away from the belt line. If you like to people watch, this is for you! They have outdoor seating. A fire pit. Local spots that has live music and you can tend to hear from the patio. This is by far one of my favorite spots in the Ponce area. Let's start with the service. The service is absolutely amazing. I've never had an issue here. Got my food promptly. Always been helpful when conflicted on food options. The service here is 10 out of 10. Phemonenal customer Service, make you feel welcome. Feels like a small community of people, everyone I encoutered were super sweet from servers to bartenders. Treated me like family and I love establishments like that you can get my money ANY day! I'd like to highlight someone special: Alyssa is truly exceptional. She served as my bartender on my latest visit, and I can't say enough good things about her. I look forward to coming in whenever she's working. She's genuine, fun, and her positive energy is a gem. Turning to the cuisine, I have visited the establishment before, and the food is truly exceptional. Two standout appetizers are the Gambas al Ajillo and the garlic-forward, succulent shrimp; the accompanying bread is full of flavor and serves as an excellent introduction to the meal. The Patatas Bravas also deserve special mention--the garlic aioli, chef kiss. As a pescatarian, which is evident in many of my reviews, I cannot comment on the meat options. Nevertheless, there is a noteworthy selection of vegan and gluten-free dishes available. I sampled the Spanish grilled cheese with truffle and garlic aioli--being a fan of garlic, the generous use here was particularly appealing. This reinterpretation of a childhood favorite significantly elevated the dish. Another highlight was the scallops. Although the dish included corn (which I generally avoid), I found it delicious, nonetheless. The scallops were cooked to perfection and infused with rich flavors. The chef demonstrates considerable expertise in crafting these recipes, and I have no complaints regarding my dining experience. Now, a few of my favorite drinks--though everyone might not share the same tastes. When I visit a Spanish-style restaurant, I have my go-to options. One of my favorites is the passionfruit margarita; it's so delicious, it feels like you're on an island. Of course, my all-time favorite is the strawberry margarita--so good and flavorful. It has just the right balance of not too much lime, with a subtle hint of mint--who knew we needed that? Another top pick is the 'Dragon on Vacation.' I usually avoid spicy drinks, so I had the habanero removed, but it's still the perfect blend of dragon fruit flavor in a margarita--so good. I also love a good Paloma; I appreciate its little kick. Overall, I have no complaints about these drinks!

There was always someone yelling over another and we had to continuously ask someone to repeat themselves. They do half off bottles of wine on Wednesdays and that might've been the one thing I enjoyed. As for the food, it was also subpar. I ordered the CRISPY PIMENTON CHICKEN which was essentially a fried chicken with hot honey sauce and that was enjoyable. The caprese salad was good but my tomato's were a bit mushy. I also enjoyed a few of the potatoes brava as well but they weren't anything spectacular. My friends said the steak tasted burnt and needed less charring. The atmosphere of the restaurant is cute as there is indoor and outdoor seating but honestly, I'm not that eager to go back.

Our server was fast, friendly, and kept everything moving smoothly. I ordered the Cypress cheeseburger and fries, which is actually my go-to here. The burger is consistently good -- not huge but not small either, just the right size to leave you full and satisfied. The fries? Nothing fancy, just good old basic fried potatoes. But they came out hot and crispy, so no complaints from me! LOL. The real highlight of the table was the blackened redfish. Two people in our group ordered it and both loved it! Overall a solid lunch spot with good service and tasty food. I'll definitely be back. Strong 4/5 for me.

The bartenders are always on point, while the servers aren't always as attentive as I'd like, but this place is usually packed, so I give grace. There is a variety of seating at Cypress: patio seating, regular tables, high-top tables, inside bar seats, and inside tables or high-tops. If it is Christmas time, there is a fantastic pop-up in the back, near the restrooms. Always check out their special menu as it changes, and if the pimento cheese balls are on it, then you must get them as they are our favorite! We love to come here on Wednesday night for the best deal in town, Pie and Vine, in which you get a pizza and a bottle of wine for $20. Yep, that is not a misprint $20. I love the mushroom pizza, but my meat-lover friends like the one with peperoni and sasage. If I'm eating at Cypress, then it is hard to pick what I get because they have so many options. To start or be my meal would be the KIMCHI BRUSSELS SPROUTS, CRISPY TUNA RICE, or wings. I am a big, huge fan of their salads. I like them all and add grilled, blackwned, or buffalo chicken, salmon, or grilled shrimp to them. I have never had a burger, but my friends love them. I need to try the black bean one day. I enjoy their SOUTHERN FRIED CHICKEN TENDERS and the BUFFALO CHICKEN sandwich.
