Boy oh boy! The first and definitely not last. This food was so great. Every time I visit ATL this will be added to my come backs. The basil chicken was so good. But the green beans with pork were my favorite. The pork medallions were so tender. The salt and pepper shrimp was lacking of flavor. The corn chicken soup was great, so was the hot and sour. But their wonton was a hit and I crave more. The restaurant is nicely preserved in time I feel. There are so many celebrities with photos who have come and gone from this world. Staffing was a little slow, but that's ok because there's no rush. They were all nice and friendly.

The food is decent. I had the fried chicken dumplings, and it was good. The mai tai is strooonngg, btw. I ordered the spicy basil chicken. It has a moderate spice level (coming from someone who loves spicy food). The plate had a decent amount of veggies, so I appreciate that. The dining area is pretty intimate with the tables being close together and low lighting. The wait staff are attentive and got everything right.

Great food, great service, great atmosphere. I was reminded of big trouble in Little China.

The food is excellent. Good service. The lighting is slightly dimmed for a nice ambiance.

This place is a GEM! Let's start with the service. Outstanding! Friendly and engaging. The Mongolian Beef was excellent. I had a wonderful glass of wine to top off this great experience. Nothing not to love here. The ambiance is very calm with lower lighting and decently spaced tables instead of one on top of another. Cant wait to go back.

What a cool spot! So many celebrities photos on the walls. Very quick and affordable lunch. The menu is a little small for a Chinese place. At first, the service was great but then I think they forgot about us... had a hard time paying the bill. The bathroom was nice and clean. Very good food!

Brought my daughter and granddaughter (visiting from London) here for lunch. Very nice experience, excellent food, excellent service. Will definitely return

Great service, flavorful food, and a charming ambiance. A bit on the pricey side, but well worth it -- we'll definitely be back!

On January 27, 2025, I dined at Hsu's Gourmet Restaurant. The Chinese male manager kindly seated me in a quiet, private spot, which I appreciated. My server, a male employee (not Chinese), possibly named "Z Team F" per the receipt, was very friendly and recommended the Monk's Delight. What impressed me most was how he explained an English word on the menu in Chinese--unexpected but very helpful. The food and service were excellent--easily deserving of a five-star rating. However, the handling of service charges could be improved. When I requested the check, I mentioned that I would be paying with Apple Pay. Before completing the transaction, I asked the server how I should handle the tip--whether I should specify the tip amount before paying or write it on the receipt afterward. He told me I could simply write it on the receipt. After paying, I noticed that a $10 service charge had been added without my consent. Since Apple Pay refunds can be complicated, I chose not to dispute it. However, I believe customers should have the choice to add service charges and tips rather than having them imposed automatically. Considering the excellent food and service but also this issue, I've given the restaurant an overall four-star rating.

FIVE STAR PLUS!! Omg. There were some locals there and they were fun as hell. That tells you something about a local establishment. They said they go there every day. I now know why the bartender and the host have been there over 50 years together. I got the tofu broccoli, the lettuce, wrap, vegetables And it was crazy then somebody has a sense of humor because I got a Japanese beer and a Chinese beer. Super cool place there. I promise you will love it. And Hasib the man behind the bar is crazy outstanding perfect dude. Funny, outgoing and great conversation. I will be back.

As a Georgia Local, the food here is HORRIBLE. Like wow $80 for 2 entrée and 2 soups. Plus getting food poisoning the next day and feeling feverish. Me and my friend both got sick the next day. We ordered house lomein and it was overcooked with low quality meats. The salt and pepper shrimp was so mediocre, look like a cheap Chinese buffet food. Save your money and trips going to the toilet. As a huge foodie in Georgia, this place is overhyped with their old celebrity pictures. Tourist skip this place and go to Doraville for better ethnic food.

Some of the best Chinese food I've ever had. The meat was so tender and delicious. We had the Mongolian beef and the basil chicken.

When I walked in, I was impressed to see a Michelin-recommended sign posted at the entrance, which definitely made me curious to try something they were recognized for. I tried the vegetarian chive and egg bun appetizer, which was light and delicious if you are a fan of chives. Our table also ordered the fried potsticker dumplings--gets good and a must-try. The noodles were so fresh, and I loved that you can actually customize and pick your noodle size. It was also really cool that you can watch them make the noodles right through the window! The restaurant was clean, and we were able to be seated right away. There was a steady flow of people to include take out but it didn't feel overwhelmingly busy. The waitstaff was excellent and made sure we fully understood how the menu worked. Our food was delivered promptly and all at one time. While everything tasted great, I would have preferred the appetizers to come out first, as delivering it all together put a lot on the table at once. Overall, it's a frilly good , clean spot with great service, and I'd definitely recommend it!

The customer service was A1 as a matter of fact is it possible to be too customer service focused because she made sure attention was given. I can't remember her name but she did awesome. Let's talk about this food. I love the scallion pancake and just up the road is Trader Joe's who has a really good product for scallion pancake but there is nothing like getting it at a restaurant. It was so flaky and crispy I'm obsessed. You can never go wrong with a spring roll and so I got the veggie spring rolls and enjoyed them immensely but for me the star of the show was my entree. The house Chow fun that had shrimp steak chicken was so good. The veggies while minimal worked perfectly so the protein and noodles were the stars. And I definitely left with it to go box. There was enough food to keep you satiated at the restaurant and have a meal at home. They also have a list of boba tea and milk teas that will keep you engaged. While I didn't purchase one plenty of people came in to order them. And there was no shortage of In-N-Out traffic of residents coming in for lunch and doing takeouts. So if you want a cute lunch date go and check out dumpling master. Okay bye

FOOD (3/5): Some of the things I had was really good, some weren't very good. Hit or miss. $7 MILK TEA: I didn't want boba, but didn't know how to order it without on my phone, whoops! It was yummy. $8 PORK & SHRIMP SIU MAI: they were undercooked and I could heavily taste flour. I love that they are made fresh, however either thin out the dough or cook longer. $9 PORK SOUP DUMPLINGS: these were delish! And came with a sweet dipping sauce. $13 GARLIC BOK CHOY: shareable portion and very flavorful! This was my favorite item. Comes with white rice, but the rice was hard and tasted old. OVERALL (3/5): I wasn't super impressed, but there aren't many Asian restaurants in this area.

We were a party of 5 and found both the food and the service to be inconsistent. The Food: Most dishes were mediocre or worse. The Three Cups Chicken (1/5) was the worst I've ever had. The Hong Kong Style Shrimp (1/5) was just bland, tasteless fried shrimp. The Lamb with Scallion (2/5) was far too salty. The only "average" dish was the Spicy Beef and Tendon (3/5), but one decent dish can't save a meal this poor. The Service & Billing: The service was quite slow during our visit. We waited a long time for the check and eventually ended up packing our own leftovers and heading to the front counter to pay so we could head out. I was also surprised to see an automatic 20% gratuity added to the bill, especially since it was calculated on the total after tax ($23.07 tip on a $106.80 subtotal). While I understand automatic tips for groups, it felt a bit high due to poor services. There are a lot of great dining spots in the area, but based on this disappointing visit, I'm sure I would not return to this one.

A unique noodle dish with a cute origin story!…read more The story begins with a wife wanting to nourish her husband while he studied for the Imperial Exams on a little island. She made a rich golden chicken noodle soup and sealed in the flavor, heat, and aroma with a layer of chicken oil; and packed the other ingredients separately so that her husband could have a fresh meal as he studied. This dish and style of preparation/presentation eventually became known as Crossing-the-Bridge noodles and is categorized as an intangible cultural heritage for the region. Similar to hot pot, you're supposed to cook the individual ingredients in the hot broth when it all comes out; however, the pot isn't constantly cooking and it should all go in when it arrives at the table. The original broth is really flavorful, while remaining delicate and hearty, and all the various components go well together. The only thing is that the broth does cool down relatively quickly once you start putting in all the other ingredients, so some things weren't as hot as I would've liked. But, overall, I enjoyed my experience! Service was wonderful and there's always parking in this plaza.
