    Kung Pao chicken.

I decided to try Urban Hai on my birthday and had a great experience. The service was fast and the food was great. I can't do my favorite dish justice because it was on a special menu and I can't remember the name, but it came in a sizzling dish with pork and veggies. This dish was supposed to have duck in it as well, but they were out of duck at the time. I also had the chicken, crab and pork soup dumplings and they were all good, but the chicken soup dumplings stood out from the crowd. The final dish I tried was the Szechuan Kung Pao chicken and it was pretty darn good. Kung Pao chicken is my favorite Chinese dish, so I'm very judgy about who makes great Kung Pao chicken. The duck soup was good and made me axious to try the gg drop soup on my next visit. I highly recommend Urban Hai anytime of the day!

Urban Hai was the best dining experience I had during my trip to Atlanta: excellent service and delicious, authentic Chinese cuisine. The restaurant is also sophisticated, modern, and sleek. I'm still thinking about the roast duck entree and wish I had ordered it to take with me back to the airport. There are lots of Szechuan-style dishes to choose from, and I highly recommend the Crispy Pork Belly. I love the mala taste of the cilantro, peppercorns, and chili served on top. I haven't had anything like it in a long time. This is a must try in Atlanta for anyone who enjoys Chinese food.

Had grandma noodles, lamb, soup dumplings, and the bun with milk tea.

Friendly people, but must admit the soup dumplings and bun was not good. We had one piece of meat that was undercooked, but the grandma noodles were really good. My mango tea wasn't as good as I wished; however, my husband loved the melon one. The ambiance seems fun, but I don't recommend the crab and meat dumplings or the steam bun. Meat tasted a little weird. Overall, a decent experience.

I was in Atlanta for 3 nights for business and can say that this was the best food I had. It is not much for ambience. Simple tables and not much decor but you come here for service and food. Our server was wonderful. He was always smiling and super attentive to all our needs. There were three of us and we were pretty hungry so we ordered a number of dishes to share. I started with a Mai Tai which was excellent. Then we began the food We got a scallion bubble pancake served with a sauce. FANTASTIC. We got salt and pepper shrimp, chicken in iron pot, numbing vegetables, steamed dumplings and white rice. It was a lot but none was wasted. EVERYTHING was delicious and perfectly prepared. You have to try this if you love great Chinese food

Hubby and I were craving Chinese food and wanted to try a new place. First off, parking here is validated, which I'm so glad because it was $20 for 2 hrs to park here if it wasn't free. There's a QR code to scan upon entering the restaurant. They were pretty busy on Saturday night but we grabbed a table. Service was pretty good. Our server checked in on us a few times. To start, we ordered the dry fried eggplant (a must-get! Fried to crispy perfection but could be more numbing. It's served as a small plate so serving isn't that big) and grandma's noodle (served with wide noodles and a sweet garlicky sauce with chili oil). We also ordered shrimp fried rice (it was good but found the added shrimp a little too salty) and sweet and sour pork (this did take awhile to come out but we were not notified until after the fact. The pork was pounded really thin and the batter was thick. It also tasted mored like orange chicken sauce and not so much sweet and sour). Everything did come out pretty fast except for the pork dish. TBH, I'm not sure if it was worth the wait. Next time we come back here, we'll definitely stick to ordering their Szechuan dishes.

Such a hidden gem in the heart of Atlanta! The atmosphere was surprisingly peaceful given the busy location--it felt like a little escape from the city. We were seated right away and the vibe was warm and inviting, with soft lighting that added to the relaxing feel. We started with the pork buns which were soft, flavorful, and a great start. The Mongolian beef was absolutely excellent--tender, well-seasoned, and perfectly cooked. Pork dumplings were also a hit, especially with the sweet and sour sauce. The fried rice was spot-on, and for dessert, the fried mochi with sugar on top was a unique and delicious treat. Honestly, this was some of the best Asian food I've ever had. The prices were very reasonable for the quality, and the service was just as impressive--both the host and our server were so kind and welcoming. Will 100% be coming back again--and probably bringing friends with me next time!

Service was top tier; friendly and attentive, and quick. Everything we tried was good. I would highly recommend giving this place a try if you're in the area. You won't be disappointed. There's something for everyone.

Great service super fast food preparation! We enjoyed the delightfully different flavors and the beautiful dishes! The restaurant is on the Crescent street side of the building.

Thank goodness they were open and had space for us! We were working at the Global Food and Produce Show at the Georgia Congress Center and were starving (no time to eat a regular meal during the day)! Everything we ordered was delicious, full of flavor, crunchy or tender, crisp or moist, as appropriate. (Sorry, someone else took all the photos and hasn't shared them yet.) We had the (See menu photo) R5 Beijing Sauce Duck Buns with shredded scallions/cucumbers, roast duck, and sauce in steamed bao buns. Crispy skin, tender meat, yummy sauce. Soft fluffy bao. Winner! We "saw" the scallion bubble pancake (D10) walk by to another table - picture an enormous Jin Dui (mochi puff with a sweet inside) that's larger than a football! We also "saw" a Hot pot walk by to a table of college students and that looked delish as well. (Will have to try them next time.) V2 Dragon Eggplant in Spicy Garlic Sauce was delicious, and for a person with a non spicy palate preference, I managed to eat several servings at dinner and later on as leftovers. P10 Crispy Pork Belly with cilantro-mmm, no words! Ok some words: just the perfect amount of salt cooked into that crispy skin and tender meat! H5 Salt Pepper Jumbo Shrimp was as expected, messy to eat but tasty. They let us order off the lunch menu, too- so we had M7 Mongolian Beef in a lightly spiced curry sauce-everyone agreed that was heavenly; and M5 Black Pepper Asparagus Beef with their homemade Worcestershire sauce. (Love tender spears of asparagus!) Boss wanted a noodle, so we ordered N2 Lo Mein "Combo" (shrimp, veg, beef and chicken). But! What we thought were the noodles were placed on the table and we had no idea what it was.(The dishes are announced, but we couldn't always understand/hear.) And yes, it was tasty, but we couldn't find the noodles in the dish. So we alerted them and alas, it belonged to another table. We had so much food (for our party of 3) there was no room for dessert. And yes, I was part of the party of 2 who had all the leftovers a few days later for another dinner meal. (PS Good quality reusable containers were given to us for the leftovers.) The ambience was family and college student friendly, and we saw a few business meetings being held there as well. It is airy, spacious, and our work suitcases fit at our table. (They will store them for you on the side if you'd prefer.). There's also another party section a few steps above where we were seated, and the whole restaurant was filled by the time we started eating. The take out services were booming as you'd expect from a popular restaurant. Moderate prices, well worth every penny! (We later discovered it was a miracle we got seated as reservations are recommended.) The restroom was very clean, spacious, and well stocked. Please note: it looked like there was parking available for a fee; and it is part of a complex. Therefore, unfortunately, it took our mobile app transport a very long time to find us; we were walking up and down the slight hill attempting to find their noted "landmark". We were so happy and full, so the walking was okay;), and look forward to returning!

Great Chinese food...everything is made fresh to order and tastes great. The spice level and flavors were good. I'm not an eggplant fan, but their eggplant dish was flavorful and went really well with rice. The service was also fast and friendly. Would definitely recommend this place.

Urban Hai has been on my radar as a Chinese restaurant to try in Metro Atlanta. It is located in Midtown, so parking is limited (street or nearby parking garages). The inside had ample seating and tables for people and our food came out fairly quickly. We got the Egg Drop Soup, Hot & Sour Soup, Dry-Fried Green Beans, Scallion Bubble Pancake, Bang Bang Shrimp, Szechuan Kung Pao Chicken, and Crispy Pork Belly. Honestly, I was a bit full before coming here so I feel like I was unable to fully sample the food here. But to start off, I really enjoyed the Egg Drop Soup as it came with crispy wonton wrappers of sorts to put in the soup. The Dry-Fried Green Beans were alright; I was hoping for of an MSG or soy sauce flavor, so that might be on me for having different expectations. The Szechuan Kung Pao Chicken was not bad, but not my favorite. The Bang Bang Shrimp had a good taste, but I was unable to eat more than a few pieces because I was full. I liked the Crispy Pork Belly as it literally tasted like fried pork belly chunks, but it is definitely more on the fatty side and can fill you up fast. I was disappointed in the Scallion Bubble Pancake as there was not really any scallion flavor on the pancake; all the flavor came from dipping it in the mild curry sauce that comes on the side. Lastly, I wanted to say that I am not a big fan of most Chinese foods so please take my review with a grain of salt. I think that if you are in Midtown and craving Chinese food, you might as well check out this restaurant and see for yourself.

Place was decent. Aside from a savory sauce served with the vegetables dumplings nothing stood out. Service was a bit awkward. Servers drop plates on random spots of the table then proceed to yell out the name the dish before abruptly exiting away from your table. Chicken dishes had a weird texture to them. One was rubbery while the other mimicked medium rare steak. Doubt I ever return

This place has outstanding reviews but it just didn't do it for me. I called ahead of time to place an order for take-out. I should not have done that because it only took 10 minutes to prepare my meal but 20 minutes for me to get there. You will need to park in a parking garage and walk over. The venue validates parking so this will not be an extra charge. The place is spacious and looks extremely nice on the inside. I ordered the Half Pekking Roasted Duck. It comes with two duck soups, bowl of green veggies, some oyster sauce, and wraps. Everything tastes extremely fresh and look great. The duck is not seasoned at all. Nice dish but much more expensive than what it is worth.

Lovely wine bar in the heart of Midtown :)…read more I've passed El Viñedo several times, as it's right next to the parking entrance for the Fox Theater. I was eating Dinner with a friend at Cypress Street Pint and Plate and we decided that we wanted to hangout a little bit longer, so my friend led me here. The same Fox parking lot has tons of parking available with regular street parking rates that won't break the bank (as long as there's no show that night!). The entry is gorgeous, and is a delightful taste of what is to meet your senses what you step inside. Featuring modern steps and beautiful hanging chairs that line the front windows, it's truly a first impression. The staff are friendly and happy to answer any questions (I had several so I thank them for their patience!) The interior is just as beautiful as the patio, and has plenty of outlets available for working or charging your phone. The cocktails and wine list are to die for, as is the guava pastry. I'll be back!

I work in the area, so I call in my order and its usually ready within 10 minutes. Typically picking up my food is a pleasant experience but today (12.4.25) was a little off. I ordered my food at 1:56pm and then got a phone call at work that lasted approx. 15 minutes. At 2:11pm I head over to the restaurant. When I got to the restaurant my food was not ready even though it had been about 20 minutes since I placed my order. No big deal, I sit at the bar and wait for my food. After about 8 minutes or so I look up from my phone and there are 2 employees, and someone dressed in street clothes having a conversation and see a food container sitting on the counter that was not there before. I waited for a break in the convo (no more than 30 seconds) and ask if that's my food on my counter. The employee looks up from his phone and says, "yeah it just came out". I respond, "no it did not because I have been looking at it since y'all were here laughing". He doubles down and says he just came from the back with it and now his tone has changed as he is processing the transaction. I don't believe I was being rude I just wanted my food. I have now eaten my food and am still thinking about this interaction. Why would he put my food down on the counter if he sees me there waiting?! I will be back because as previously mentioned, I love their chicken sandwich, and the lattes are pretty good as well. My receipt says my server was Jaden B. I am not sure if that is the young lady or young man working at the front, but this interaction was with a young man that may be a relatively new employee with a short afro.
