Great food, large plates and decently priced. Service was good. Liked that it was an LGBTQ community restaurant.

Went here yesterday for a going away lunch. My friend called ahead to get us a table since there was 8 of us. When we walked in, they already had the menus and water sitting there for us. Host/waiter was very nice. The food was pretty good. I had the mixed kebab platter with a side of hummus and Greek potatoes. I wasn't crazy about the potatoes. I'm not sure what it was about it. But the hummus and kebabs were really good. Seasoned very well.

Kept it light for my visit. You know it's summer & I gotta get in shape & all that. Yeah, I know you're supposed to do that before summer but hey give me a break I'm trying! Anywho, food was bomb. Had the bowtie noodles without protein & The Vegan with a bottle of wine. Everything was flavorful & I shared with someone else. Yum-me! Parking was validated woohoo. If you're into Mediterranean food or trying to get on a healthy kick go ahead do yourself a favor & grab & bite. You're welcome.

I stumbled upon this place one day while looking for a spot to grab a drink. As soon as you enter, you are immediately greeted by the bar which is quite small with only a few seats. I liked the touch of the wall of wine behind the bar. The menu is Mediterranean fare, though their prices are on the much higher end compared to other casual dining spots around town. There is a lower area that has more tables and chairs as well as a stage. Not sure if their business model is geared more towards shows and performances or if it is truly a restaurant that only occasionally has an event going on. I sat at the bar and the bartender was friendly enough. I would like to return to try some of the food but perhaps it will be limited to a couple appetizers based on the pricing.

I really enjoyed my experience at Olive Bistro Midtown. The food, customer service, and hospitality of the staff was top tier. The owner of the restaurant came to greet me & my friend after we were dining and made us feel welcomed. Our server, who is also the bartender Jeff, was amazing. Very attentive, checked up on us regularly. 10/10 service. Last but not least, my review of the food right? Customer service can be great, but if the food sucks who cares right? The food was amazing! I got the Rosemary Chicken and it was seasoned to perfection. The hummus was great as well, so was the rice. I will definitely be back as they have a pretty extensive menu! I want to come back & try their lamb which was highly recommended by the staff.

We thought Olive Bistro Midtown was okay. For casual Mediterranean food in the area, we prefer Tannour on 14th Street (their food is better), but Olive Bistro has the superior atmosphere. They've got a small patio on Juniper, an 8-9 seat wine bar with TVs, and a lower level dining room with live music on occasion. We initially discovered this place on Seated, but they've been on a whole bunch of other services/apps like Yelp Cash Back, Rakuten, and OpenTable. There are currently two Olive Bistro locations in Atlanta, this one and one in Vinings (http://bit.ly/3a2Kzzy) on Cobb Parkway. The first Olive Bistro, now closed, opened on Euclid Avenue in Little Five Points in 1997 and there was also a location in Brookhaven, also now closed (http://bit.ly/2TfY5Jq). In the single unisex restroom at this location, they have a framed article on the wall that was written about the original Euclid location. For many years, the Midtown location of Olive Bistro was located in the Midtown Place shopping center (Home Depot, Whole Foods) across from Ponce City Market on Ponce De Leon Avenue. That location closed in August 2018 and this location on Juniper opened the following October. This Yelp listing is a continuation of the old Ponce location (they just changed the address on the listing) so it contains pictures and reviews of both this current location on Juniper and the old location on Ponce. You can find this restaurant on street level on the backside of the 1075 Peachtree high-rise building. Same building as Cafe Intermezzo, STK, and the Loews hotel. You can park in the building's deck, accessible via both 11th and 12th Streets, for up to two hours free with restaurant validation. Be sure to take your parking ticket with you into the restaurant so they can stamp it. There's no convenient deck entrance to Olive Bistro, so you'll have to walk around the block and enter from the outside. We visited for dinner and the restaurant was very dimly lit. We could barely see what we were eating, but the darkness was intentionally part of the restaurant's ambiance. The food looked different when I ate the leftovers at home ("So that's what the rice and lentils look like under normal light."). During our visit, the menu featured nearly 30 meze (small dishes) priced at $7-15 each, salads (starting at $8-12 each), bowls (starting at $6-9 each), pita wraps and pita pocket sandwiches ($9-12 each), sides ($4 each), hot entrees ($8-25 each), platters ($9-35 each), and desserts like baklava. They offer beer, cocktails, and a decent selection of wine. Specials include half off all house wine bottles on Monday, $3 select beers on Tuesday, half off all wine bottles on Wednesday, and bottomless sangrias, mimosas, and Bellinis for $20 per person with $10 food minimum per person on Saturday and Sunday, 12pm-3pm. We ended up going with a meze and two platters: Meze * Halloumi cheese ($10) - grilled halloumi with olives and tzatziki sauce Platters * Mediterranean platter ($12) - falafel, hummus, baba ganoush, tabbouleh * Rosemary chicken platter ($16) - grilled boneless skinless chicken breast marinated in rosemary, lemon, garlic, and spices; served with rice and lentils, hummus, and a side of Greek salad In general, the food was fine. Not bad. The halloumi was tasty. If you're looking for a small plate to try that's different, I recommend it. Halloumi is popular in the Eastern Mediterranean. It's a firm, salty cheese that has a sort of rubbery, squeaky texture to it after it's grilled. Our halloumi didn't come with olives as described on the menu, but it did come with warm pita triangles which we ate together with the halloumi and tzatziki. The tzatziki yogurt sauce alone was delicious. The Mediterranean platter is customizable and a good option if you want to try different items. The platter comes with anywhere from two to four items and you get to choose those items from a list of nine. I thought the falafel (four pieces), hummus, baba ganoush, and tabbouleh were all A-OK. The falafel dipped in the supplied tahini was yummy. The baba ganoush was super smoky, perhaps the strongest, smokiest-tasting baba ganoush I've had. The tabbouleh (one of my favorite Mediterranean salads) wasn't among the most flavorful or "juiciest" I've had, but it wasn't bad. They actually got my order wrong and initially gave me a side of Greek salad instead of tabbouleh, but it wasn't a big deal. It was like I got a free side salad in the end. The chicken breast in the rosemary chicken platter was par for the course. It was kind of dry, but nothing out of the ordinary. I thought it could have been seasoned better. It came with a side of tahini and that definitely helped. The Greek salad, hummus, and rice and lentils were alright. Overall, this was a basic, satisfactory dish. Value-wise, I do think this place is a little expensive for what you get. Service was great. Chase was our server and Todd also helped out. They were both very nice and friendly.

Still as good as always. Do yourself a favor and get anything with the gyro meat. It's delicious.

This place is a hidden gem in Midtown. There isn't a better place for Mediterranean food and prices nearby. Truly blown away by the amazing flavors and variety. The menu is he perfect size. It is not overwhelming and too large to make you question the quality and freshness of food, but rather simple and made daily. They often have love music, which is an added joy for any party size. I would recommend this for an evening for two, a bachelorette squad, or even a large family gathering. Service by every server, bartender, clean up team is just WOW. Everyone is so top notch. You feel wonderful from greeting to goodbye. The Mediterranean flavors will have your taste buds in heaven and if you love a good cocktail, peep their drink menu! Delicious. 10/10 recommend and you'll thank me later! :) P.S Don't miss out on their halloumi, eggplant, or Greek potatoes

Olive Bistro is a Mediterranean restaurant located in Midtown. It's at the bottom of a retail/apartment complex which makes it easy to miss, but the inside is much larger than it appears. I stopped by for a to go order, and I ordered a Greek salad with grilled chicken. The salad also came with toasted pita bread. The serving was large enough for a full dinner meal. The chicken was grilled to order. Servers were friendly! The restaurant is a family chain which has been in operation for 30 years! Nice to think you're buying local if you stop by for a bite.

From ownership, to management, and then on to the staff, every time I walk into Olive Bistro Midtown I feel like it's always June's Pride Month with how kind, accepting, and loving they are. The family-owned business provides the best Mediterranean in Atlanta, and I'm happy to support them. Happy pride month, Atlanta and Olive Bistro.

They were great for a quick lunch. The gyro itself was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent. I have to take a point off because the silverware that we received was not clean and we had to ask for a set.

Falafel are from packages or from someone who has no concept of how to make them. Horrid flavor and like a sink sponge.

Negative stars. Barely any food - terrible portion sizes and watered down dressings. Greek for people who never ate Greek before.

Lovely wine bar in the heart of Midtown :)…read more I've passed El Viñedo several times, as it's right next to the parking entrance for the Fox Theater. I was eating Dinner with a friend at Cypress Street Pint and Plate and we decided that we wanted to hangout a little bit longer, so my friend led me here. The same Fox parking lot has tons of parking available with regular street parking rates that won't break the bank (as long as there's no show that night!). The entry is gorgeous, and is a delightful taste of what is to meet your senses what you step inside. Featuring modern steps and beautiful hanging chairs that line the front windows, it's truly a first impression. The staff are friendly and happy to answer any questions (I had several so I thank them for their patience!) The interior is just as beautiful as the patio, and has plenty of outlets available for working or charging your phone. The cocktails and wine list are to die for, as is the guava pastry. I'll be back!

I work in the area, so I call in my order and its usually ready within 10 minutes. Typically picking up my food is a pleasant experience but today (12.4.25) was a little off. I ordered my food at 1:56pm and then got a phone call at work that lasted approx. 15 minutes. At 2:11pm I head over to the restaurant. When I got to the restaurant my food was not ready even though it had been about 20 minutes since I placed my order. No big deal, I sit at the bar and wait for my food. After about 8 minutes or so I look up from my phone and there are 2 employees, and someone dressed in street clothes having a conversation and see a food container sitting on the counter that was not there before. I waited for a break in the convo (no more than 30 seconds) and ask if that's my food on my counter. The employee looks up from his phone and says, "yeah it just came out". I respond, "no it did not because I have been looking at it since y'all were here laughing". He doubles down and says he just came from the back with it and now his tone has changed as he is processing the transaction. I don't believe I was being rude I just wanted my food. I have now eaten my food and am still thinking about this interaction. Why would he put my food down on the counter if he sees me there waiting?! I will be back because as previously mentioned, I love their chicken sandwich, and the lattes are pretty good as well. My receipt says my server was Jaden B. I am not sure if that is the young lady or young man working at the front, but this interaction was with a young man that may be a relatively new employee with a short afro.
