A shocking surprise. I ordered these tacos on Uber Eats and they arrived in perfect condition and the temperature was on par. The flavors were immaculate and the size and quantity was also really great. This location will be my new taco spot whenever I am in town and I highly recommend.

Such an excellent spot in the Virginia Highlands! Service spot on and everything we ate was delicious. It's a fun and lively spot and country music - my fave - was playing in the background. Note the Mac & cheese taco is on the website but not on the menu but you can get it if you ask.

I love Bar.bacoa! I'm sure they know me well as I order from here very often on Uber Eats! Some of my favorites are all of the tacos! Just amazing! The spanish potatoes, beef quesadillas, & the blackened shrimp tostada. The steak salad is so flavorful & tasty! Then my gawd, the dessert! The Chocolate Oblivion Truffle Tart is just to die for! Honestly you can't go wrong with anything here. They know what the heck they're doing in the kitchen!

Really great menu. We got the queso and it was devine! Lots of fun options and quaint outdoor seating. The vibe of the restaurant is very cute. Perfect for a date night or girls night out. The service was really great as well. On the pricier end. Would go back to try some of their other items!

My brother and our group of friends came here for lunch today to escape the heat from walking around the Virginia Highlands arts festival. It was a first visit for all of us. The entrance has a nice bar area plus there is indoor and outdoor dining towards the back of the restaurant. We chose a table inside for a break from the heat. Everyone was super friendly and efficient. The menu had a great selection of food to please everyone and featured tapas for sharing as well as traditional main dishes. In addition they had four brunch specials served from noon until 4pm. Our group ordered a variety of items including the blackened shrimp tostada, the pork carnitas, the Peruvian chicken tacos in both corn tortillas and in lettuce wraps. We also ordered the mimosas and vinho verde white wine from Portugal. For dessert we ordered the tres leches cake and the churros. We finished with coffee. Food and service were outstanding! My one quibble was the lack of any vegan coffee creamer. They didn't have any oat milk or almond milk just traditional creamer or milk. I love this place and it's convenient to my office so I'm excited to come back and dine here again after work!

I have been wanting to try Bar.bacoa for a while now. Unfortunately, I did not have a great first impression. Our server was kind of rude and pretty much ignored us most of the meal. After he delivered our entrees, he didn't even say one word to us again (even when delivering the bill). The food itself was really good, and I definitely will try it again at some point. Loved the Mexican corn!! The biggest issue I had during the night was that we ordered a non-alcoholic (virgin) margarita, and she was served a strong margarita full of tequila. Luckily, she was just taking a break from drinking and does not have an issue with alcohol. But as sobriety becomes a larger part of our society, restaurants need to treat non alcoholic requests the same way as food allergies. Some people can have major issues with alcohol, and if they took a sip of that margarita they could fall to a rabbit hole. Our server never apologized and did not even address the issue. He just seemed confused. I hope Bar.bacoa can take requests like this more seriously in the future. Because I know some people who are sober and could have major issues if they were given that margarita.

While in Atlanta, two of my friends and I went to Bar.bacoa for a nice dinner since we hadn't seen each other in months. The restaurant is pretty small, so make sure you do reservations if possible. The ambiance is pretty cozy though. The menu had many options. I tried the octopus, carne asada, and calamari. All of the dishes were great. They all received a 5/5. The drinks were strong too, and I only needed one to liven up. All in all, I would recommend Bar.bacoa. The food was great.

Yum YUMMYY! I really…read moredon't know where to start but I absolutely love Buena Vida! I guess thats a great place :) location, Location, LOCATION! I admire that area of Buena Vida. All the entertainment is right there in front of you. You're just steps away from the belt line. If you like to people watch, this is for you! They have outdoor seating. A fire pit. Local spots that has live music and you can tend to hear from the patio. This is by far one of my favorite spots in the Ponce area. Let's start with the service. The service is absolutely amazing. I've never had an issue here. Got my food promptly. Always been helpful when conflicted on food options. The service here is 10 out of 10. Phemonenal customer Service, make you feel welcome. Feels like a small community of people, everyone I encoutered were super sweet from servers to bartenders. Treated me like family and I love establishments like that you can get my money ANY day! I'd like to highlight someone special: Alyssa is truly exceptional. She served as my bartender on my latest visit, and I can't say enough good things about her. I look forward to coming in whenever she's working. She's genuine, fun, and her positive energy is a gem. Turning to the cuisine, I have visited the establishment before, and the food is truly exceptional. Two standout appetizers are the Gambas al Ajillo and the garlic-forward, succulent shrimp; the accompanying bread is full of flavor and serves as an excellent introduction to the meal. The Patatas Bravas also deserve special mention--the garlic aioli, chef kiss. As a pescatarian, which is evident in many of my reviews, I cannot comment on the meat options. Nevertheless, there is a noteworthy selection of vegan and gluten-free dishes available. I sampled the Spanish grilled cheese with truffle and garlic aioli--being a fan of garlic, the generous use here was particularly appealing. This reinterpretation of a childhood favorite significantly elevated the dish. Another highlight was the scallops. Although the dish included corn (which I generally avoid), I found it delicious, nonetheless. The scallops were cooked to perfection and infused with rich flavors. The chef demonstrates considerable expertise in crafting these recipes, and I have no complaints regarding my dining experience. Now, a few of my favorite drinks--though everyone might not share the same tastes. When I visit a Spanish-style restaurant, I have my go-to options. One of my favorites is the passionfruit margarita; it's so delicious, it feels like you're on an island. Of course, my all-time favorite is the strawberry margarita--so good and flavorful. It has just the right balance of not too much lime, with a subtle hint of mint--who knew we needed that? Another top pick is the 'Dragon on Vacation.' I usually avoid spicy drinks, so I had the habanero removed, but it's still the perfect blend of dragon fruit flavor in a margarita--so good. I also love a good Paloma; I appreciate its little kick. Overall, I have no complaints about these drinks!

It's always a good time when we meet up with my friends cause the conversation and fellowship is always so sweet, however this time I'd say it was somewhat interrupted. The live music/saxophonist is nice however, it's overbearing. There's a soundtrack playing in the background in addition to the saxophonist and honestly it's just too much. There was always someone yelling over another and we had to continuously ask someone to repeat themselves. They do half off bottles of wine on Wednesdays and that might've been the one thing I enjoyed. As for the food, it was also subpar. I ordered the CRISPY PIMENTON CHICKEN which was essentially a fried chicken with hot honey sauce and that was enjoyable. The caprese salad was good but my tomato's were a bit mushy. I also enjoyed a few of the potatoes brava as well but they weren't anything spectacular. My friends said the steak tasted burnt and needed less charring. The atmosphere of the restaurant is cute as there is indoor and outdoor seating but honestly, I'm not that eager to go back.

I adore sitting on the patio and soaking in the neighborhood's vibrancy. Watching the e-bikes whiz by with kids on the back and teenagers loitering the mini-market gives the whole scene a modern Norman Rockwell feel. The margs are cheap, the food is a great value, and everything always comes out quickly. The service is attentive, too--you'll have multiple people checking in to ensure you're happy. As a regular, I've tried most of the menu. One of the 'secret' standout items is the salmon salad (insider knowledge passed down to me!). The quesadilla is my other go-to, though I do wish they'd finally start cutting the darn thing into triangles! Bottom line: this is a place to just hang and relax. Don't expect anything over-the-top; it's simply a very comforting, reliable neighborhood staple.

I could have happily ordered a full bowl as my main dish and left completely satisfied. For my entrée, I went with the Original Paella. Overall, it was very enjoyable and nicely seasoned. The flavors were there, and it was definitely pleasing to eat. I will say, I was expecting a bit more protein. Everything tasted good, but a slightly more generous portion of protein would have taken it to the next level for me. I'd give the paella an 8/10. We also tried the Enchiladas de Pollo. The flavor was definitely there -- the seasoning and filling were enjoyable -- but the tortillas didn't seem as fresh as I'd hoped. Because of that, the enchiladas lost some of their structure and would fall apart before you could really get a solid bite with your fork. It didn't ruin the dish, but it did take away a bit from the overall experience. The atmosphere was really nice. They offer seating on the first floor (inside and outside), plus a second-floor outdoor option. If you're worried about being cold upstairs, don't be -- they have ceiling heaters, which is a thoughtful touch. We went during lunch, so it wasn't too busy, and it felt relaxed. I can only imagine how charming it must feel at night with the city views -- I'd definitely love to come back in the evening to experience that. The food came out quickly, which is always appreciated, and parking wasn't too bad to find. I could see it being a little more challenging during peak hours, but for us, it worked out well. Overall, I'd give this place a 4.2/5. I'd absolutely return -- especially for that chicken soup -- and I'm excited to explore more of the menu next time.

I can't remember all the cheeses and meats we got but they were all good! The mustard and pickles paired well with everything. We got a variety of tapas to share: the hamachi crudo, octopus, mushroom flatbread, and then paella as a main dish. I thought the tapas were all super delicious! The hamachi crudo was so flavorful, I couldn't believe it was just a raw piece of fish cause it tasted so flavorful. The octopus was SO tender but honestly the fennel that came along with it was the star of the show for me I had never had fennel before but wow it might be my new favorite vegetable? I gotta figure out how they cooked it because it was just so good. The mushroom flatbread was so good and we didn't even know it was gonna be a flatbread because all I saw was mushroom and truffles and i was like that's gonna be delicious! And I wasn't wrong, I LOVE truffle! The paella was also super delicious, it was very different from any paella I've had before and had a very distinct flavor to it. Idk how authentic it was but it sure was tasty! Finally for dessert we ended it with a blackberry basque cheesecake and churros. GUYS. The cheesecake was PHENOMENAL. It had a blackberry caramel that was one of the best dessert things I have ever had! My only complaint was I feel like there needed to be way more of the caramel! The cheesecake was also made of goat cheese, which is very unique and I think it made it a little bit pungent? But the blackberry caramel covered it up. Honestly I feel like I would put that caramel on any dessert and it would taste amazing! Avoid this restaurant for group events…read more We came to Iberian Pig Buckhead on a Thursday night for a friend's birthday dinner. The restaurant was practically empty, yet management insisted we meet a $1,000 minimum spend requirement. By the end of the meal, after multiple rounds of drinks and several courses of food, our group had spent around $400. When we spoke with the manager, Chris, and asked for some flexibility given that the restaurant was nearly vacant, he refused to budge. Instead, he suggested that we order more shots to reach the minimum. Apparently, encouraging a group to consume excessive amounts of alcohol was preferable to exercising basic common sense and customer service. What made the experience particularly frustrating was Chris's attitude. He repeatedly insisted that we were obligated to meet the minimum despite the fact that no one in our party had signed any contract or agreement. Rather than trying to find a fair solution, he seemed far more interested in squeezing additional money out of a birthday group than creating a positive guest experience. The irony is that this wasn't a packed Saturday night with limited seating. The restaurant was largely empty. There was no apparent business reason for such an inflexible approach--just poor judgment and even worse customer service. The food was fine, but management completely ruined the evening. There are too many great restaurants in Buckhead to spend your money somewhere that treats customers this way.
