4 oz. Okra and Stew Sauce

Finally tried fufu and okra soup!! The server was super friendly and the whole place had a warm, family-like vibe. I ordered on Uber Eats for pickup, and they were just as welcoming when I arrived. Can't wait to come back and try more dishes next time!

Broad daylight and got violated and it was a dude in a Bentley truck. He came in and ask was it our car, setup maybe

The food was decent we intended to eat there and take food to go. During that time our car window was broken out and items stolen. The portions were small maybe if we ate there it would have been larger. It took awhile for the food to be prepared. The location had nice decor I noticed more people ordering to go orders. Total was almost 80$, dude didn't even give a discount with us waiting almost 2 hours and the whole car thing. He was good at finessing us to try this try that. I'm really only interested in red stew, wish I knew someone that could make me a large amount at a good price

Southern Suya was okay. When walking in, there was a line which was cool it gave me more time to make my final decision on what to eat. Orders for takeout and dine in are taken at the counter and you find anywhere to sit for dine in. First sign of things being off was when I was going to select my receipt option the lady at the front quickly selected no receipt for me when I wanted a receipt. The restaurant gives an event space aesthetic, dark event space ( black ceiling), but none the less event space vibe. Our order took about 20 minutes to arrive, not too long , and the food was good. The fish was cooked to perfection, flavor explosion. The egusi stew was good, I've received bigger portions at other restaurants and an accompanying bowl of water to eat the stew. I had to ask many times for napkins that I never received. As well as a Togo container for my food. I wish they gave you a plastic Togo container for stew instead of styrofoam. Styrofoam leaks stew. Overall the food is cool with ample free parking.

Southern Suya did an amazing job introducing me to West African cuisine. The cashier Yusuf, also did an amazing job guiding my friends and I through the menu. At the time, we decided to dine in, and the interior looked nice with clean tables and chairs. There was a little bit of a wait for the food to come out. I had decided to go with some Plantains, Beef Suya, with Jollof Rice, and Okra Stew that comes with the Pounded Yams (or Fufu I believe). First off, the Plantains are either a hit or miss, they aren't that sweet I had also gotten served one fresh and hot, and the second time was a bit cold. Beef Suya had so much flavor with its seasonings and pepper but it was a little tough to chew through. The Jollof Rice is just as good, it has the same flavoring profile being grilled and seasoned as the beef overall I felt it was a bit too much for my palette, I could've gone for coconut rice to be honest. The Okra Stew was good, it had a bit of a kick and heat to pair with the sort of bland Fufu the size of your palm. My friend got the 6-piece chicken wings with the Suya seasoning, the wings were seasoned perfectly, and tender, and crispy fries as well. Both times I visited the price was at least under $20 depending on what you ordered.

They do not do dine in. We came all the way from Atlanta to try this twice, and the food was on point both times. We had the grilled fish, goat, egusi stew, yam. All of it on point.

Great food and loved the chill vibes of the restaurant. Being Nigerian, I am critical of trying other people's food but this did not disappoint! Will definitely be returning.

The food here was mind blowing. So much flavour in every single item we had. The stew sauce was my favourite.

Absolutely loved the food and environment. Even though I was unable to dine in and had to order curbside the employees were patient and helpful. This was my first time trying Nigerian food. I was determined to try the TikTok craze fufu and egusi stew. Once ordered it took about 20 minutes to prepare as it was freshly made to order. When brought out I had the pleasure of talking with the employee who was Nigerian. She welcomed me to trying their popular dish and shared some of her heritage with me and my boys. Next time I visit Atlanta I will love to stop back by.

Ok the meat pie, freshly baked dough (amazing) meat and veggies inside I didn't care for a certain spice used, it kind of overpowered the dish. I ended up taking out the meat and just eating the dough which I give 5 stars and would order again by itself. The Jallof had great seasoning and pepper I'm not Nigerian but I loved it. The suya also had great season but the texture was not like Suya I've had in the past. Granted, I did come in late for a to-go order but the suya didn't have that freshly made crunch that I love. I actually know for a fact the food was reheated which I'm neither here nor there about but because of freshness and texture wasn't the best meal I've had. I did like the flavor and I liked the raw onions that accompanied the Suya but overall wasn't Ike's (sorry). Customer service was spot on though, food came out quick (freshly microwaved), plenty of parking and overall good vibe inside. Maybe I will try earlier on in the day to get that crispy fresh Suya that makes my mouth water. Thanks for feeding me though because I was starving that night!

The joloff rice was good. The fish was not fresh and tasted old. Suya was good and well seasoned. The wait was too long. Nearly an hour.

The meatpies are really good, the filling isn't overwhelmed by veggies, and the dough is soft and moist(not crumbly and dry).

They will offer bottled water as if it's the only option since there is a charge associated with it; however, tap water is available for free but you have to request it. We ordered around 7:31pm and received our food within thirty minutes. Because this is a hookah bar, the tables on the restaurant side are very low. You'll have to lean forward and down if you have the food delivered to you there. We were sitting at the low tables first but decided to head to the bar so we could actually sit at normal table height to eat. The steak kabobs were cooked too hard. They didn't ask how we wanted them cooked and we didn't think to tell them medium, so we just dealt with the overly well-done. They had a good taste, but they were just really tough to chew. The jollof rice with chicken and plantains was absolutely delicious; however, one of the chicken legs was really dark on the inside which made me not want to eat it, so I left half of that leg on the plate. I did dump the jollof rice into the sauce that the chicken sat in though because it was amazing. I loved the spice it added to the meal. The taste of all of the food was phenomenal. The jollof rice is definitely the star of both meals.

The pounded yam was smooth and not too thick. I had fun scooping up the Egusi in the Fufu with my hands. Both together was an enjoyable flavor and texture combo. The Beef Suya was good as well, a nice meat appetizer. The beef was cooked well done which some people may not like, but I enjoyed it since I grew up eating my steak that way. It paired very well with the spice blend and raw onions. I also had the Ghanaian Jollof Rice and that was not my most favorite dish due to the flavor. Not my cup of tea, but the rice was cooked well. I also liked the side plantains. The interior is nicely ornate and comfy. The service here was also super great and my assigned server was very personable. Ike's…read morewas in the area the three of us were hanging out at, so I was looking forward to venture outside my normal restaurant. Setting / Service: We had came in about 10-15 minutes after they had just opened, so it felt like we were the first customers by the way the wait staff was missing. The host had told us sit at any table and we would have a staff member come swing by. We waited about 5-10 minutes before our waitress had came by and asked us if we were ready to order. Mind you - we were not given a food menu or told about the QR code that looked like it was barely hanging on the table beforehand. Food order took a little longer than expected. Table that was sat after us got their full lunch order before our soup came out. Felt little weird about that. The occasional check-ins from the waitress was welcomed. Food: Hunter's Platter was a overcooked or charred. The beef was well done at minimum. Some of the other meat pieces that contained bone were so overcooked that it was tougher than jerky and the bones themselves began to break off into sharp ends / mistaken as meat due to how brittle they became. For it to be priced at 'Market Value' and not have a actual charge was a bit odd to me. It came out to be near $60 for those wondering. Sweet potato soup with plantain fufu was good. We had ordered the mixed meat version, but it only contain one piece of each meat. It was borderline room temp by the time it got to our table. We had also ordered a few other items that were pretty enjoyable. Pleasant additions to a couple first timers who wanted to taste the menu. Overall: I'd say that the experience here was pretty okay to the point we had gotten the meal tab. It was a bit peculiar that our waitress had dropped off the credit card machine to the table for us after handing her my card. It was then I noticed on the machine "Additional Tip". Puzzled, I looked back at the check and noticed she had applied auto-gratuity. Yes, I would have given a tip. I would have given more than the auto applied tip, but it was context that made the entire situation foul. She applied auto tip, dropped the machine off, and just 'disappeared' until we left the table at which she muttered words as she walked past us while looking down to the floor.

The Attiéké by itself, kinda bitter, but I mixed with the onion sauce and omg, Wow! That onion sauce is like none other, you have to try it to understand! It's unbelievably good-- a sauce of onions with onion chunks! I'm so glad I tried it! The gentleman that cooked it-- that man knows his way around a kitchen!
