My daughter and I went here today and it was absolutely delicious. Not only was the food phenomenal, the fella at the counter was absolutely the sweetest. He was all smiles and so helpful. We can't wait to try more dishes!

I love me some Mama J‼ She introduced me to Naija food when she was cooking out of her home. I am so proud she is in a brick and mortar now. This lady is hard working and her food is good. She cooks with love and makes you feel like family while feeding you. Please go support if you want to try Nigerian food. I've had okra soup, jollof rice, a shrimp dish and my sons love love love her rice and fufu. Thank you Mama J

As a first generation Cuban-American born and raised in Miami and married to a Cuban man, I am happy to report that Cuban Diner is the real deal. This is authentic Cuban food that is as good as the Cuban food easily found all over Miami. We started with croquetas and mariquitas. I ordered the bistec empanizado, hubby ordered the vaca frita, my son ordered the ropa vieja, my MIL orders the palomilla, and my FIL ordered a papa rellena and tamal along with a natural guava juice. We all shared bites of our plates with each other and everyone agreed that everything was absolutely delicious. My favorite was the vaca frita, so I stole a good bit from hubby and I also loved my FIL's guava juice. Service was good, but we got there shortly after opening so we had the place to ourselves. We noticed as it got busier, service definitely slowed considerably, but there was only one server for the whole place and one more handling to go orders. The one server did a fantastic job despite being the only one for multiple tables, but I did notice one couple left in frustration when they were not attended in a timely manner. I loved that they offer a total of 3 sides with the entrees, so you don't have to compromise on sides. I really enjoyed our meal and will be back to try more things on their menu soon. I definitely recommend Cuban Diner, but urge you to pack your patience if you go when there is a crowd. The good news is that the food will be well worth the wait!

We got the steamed veggie dumplings, the fried chicken dumplings and the sweet and sour tofu with white rice. the best dish was the tofu as the sauce was very good so it made for a flavorful dish. portion size for each entree was good but the dumplings were a bit of a disappointment. they were not bad but i have had better elsewhere nice atmosphere, quick service but average food

The dumplings soaked up the butter curry sauce beautifully, making every bite indulgent. * Fried Dumplings: Crispy on the outside, tender inside--an excellent contrast to the saucy momos. * Soup (Thukpa with Veggies & Chicken): This was the star of the night. Warm, hearty, and nourishing, it felt like the kind of soup that could cure any ailment. * Beef Fried Rice: Comfort food at its finest--fluffy rice, well-seasoned beef, and balanced flavors that tied the meal together. Beyond the food, the whole vibe was distinctly Tibetan. Multicolored prayer papers draped across the ceiling created a festive, spiritual atmosphere, while prayer wheels lined the walls with scrolls of prayers tucked inside. The décor added a sense of authenticity and calm, making the dining experience feel immersive and memorable. Our host was very quick to the point and friendly helping us with our selections. A fantastic dining experience. If you're craving dumplings, soul-soothing soup, or flavorful rice in a setting that transports you to the Himalayas, Himalayan Kitchen is a must-visit.
